We have just upgraded our servers to the next tier, so you will experience a little downtime when syncing and mining. App crashes during mining are normal until the new server is up and running.

Guys, mining without an internet connection is a huge security hole which cannot be fixed or patched because of the Android system architecture.
Don't have a data plan? No problem. Do you have wi-fi? Then sit at home and shake the phone around for 2 hours. Put it in some socks or something and spin it around.

Again, mining offline is a HUGE, unpatchable security hole which can ruin everything. It's just how the Android system works. And we can't risk having someone mess around with the app with a rooted Android phone and ruin the whole system by exploiting it. With an active internet connection during mining, the system is far better secured than before. Isn't this what it's about? Making it secure to ensure endurance of the coin throughout the future? It can't be done with offline mining. If we ever find a way to do offline mining, we will.

The sync is automatic while you mine, it happens once every minute. This is why you must have an active internet connection while you mine.. We have calculated that you won't need more than approximately 10mb a month for MangoCoinz.

You can't log out of the new app. You will be automatically logged out if you login somewhere else.

You can't "migrate" accounts.

Create a new account with a valid email address in the new app, then send the coins from the old app to the email address you used to register in the new app.
The email you sign up with in the new app is your app wallet address.

Mining is limited to 2 hours a day, this is intentional.

All the bugs reported have been noted, and most of them have been taken care of. We will upload a new update today once we clear all of them.

The app has been published on Google Play Store. It will take about 2 hours before it becomes public. Keep in mind that this is a new app, and once it goes public, mining will be shut down in all old apps. You will be able to transfer all your coins from the old app to the new one. You will need to register a new account with your email to use the new app. All accounts that are active on the iPhone app can now also login to the new Android app (they will be logged out on the iPhone of course).

The Android app should be released in a few hours..

The new system on the app messed up the coin counter on mangocoinz.com/android..  Don't be alarmed, the blockchain is functioning normally, nothing happened to the coins. Everything is OK with the system, it's just that some scripts are messing with the counter and we will fix that pretty soon.

So, if you see the counter not behaving normally, for example the number goes up or down constantly, don't panic. Nothing is happening with the coins or transactions, they are all safe.

In a few days, when the app gets released. Registrations will be re-opened then.

Hey guys! Sorry for being unresponsive these days. We had some personal issues. Everything is ok now.

Regarding the Android app. We will release it in english and chinese in the next few days. It will look like the iPhone app, except several animations will be missing from this first version. We will add them after the release. You will be able to register, mine, send and receive coins.
Chinese version is red and gold with chinese letters, while the english version is blue and white with english alphabet letters.

Apple is currently reviewing our iPhone app and we have made a deal with one of the running clubs in USA (15000 members, 700 chapters) to start using it as soon as it's released. Their president will also recommend us to others and get more clubs and organisations to endorse and use MangoCoinz as way to fund themselves through running.

Our friends in China are preparing a lot of stuff to be done with MangoCoinz, including casinos, betting on NBA and e-sports, and online stores.

We also made some changes with the mining and syncing algorithms, making them more stable. There shouldn't be anymore bugs where coins suddenly "disappear" from the phone.
Security has also been drastically improved.

Another thing that will be included in the new app. If you want to send coins to your webwallet, instead of entering the entire address of the wallet, simply type "webwallet" (without the "") in the "Send to" field and it will send the coins to your webwallet. This only works if the webwallet is registered to the same email as your miner account. This is currently possible on iPhones. Androids will get it with the new app.

Good news! We have started working on the Android app full time now. The plan is to make it look like the iPhone app, minus the one click sell system. That might come later. The app will also come in chinese, for our new friends over there. The iPhone will have our full attention after we are done with the Android.
We cannot yet give you guys an ETA on the Android app, because we are now giving it extra layers of security and stability. It's not just a re-skin.
We can arrange for MCZ to be listed into voting list of C-Cex, and if we gather enough votes and pay for a little extra, we can get listed there for trading.

We are still in the beta phase with the iPhone app and the system we are trying to make with it takes a little bit of time too.
We could really use your help with a good exchange. Can you guys suggest some exchanges that you think MangoCoinz will get into easy? C-Cex is a valid option, and we can even pay 1 or 2 BTC to get into one. Feedback on this matter is highly valued, and will get you a bounty in MCZ if you help us out.

An interesting thing that has come to our attention recently is a growing demand for MangoCoinz Android app in China. Our valuable contact there tells us that MCZ can spread really fast there. Coming with a new update! The iPhone app has been finished and is active as a beta test through the TestFlight app. Once the beta is over and the app is on the Store, we will make a new ANN thread and attract more people and talk about our future and the business plan of the coin and the app, etc.

We are now contacting different exchanges to get MangoCoinz listed there as well. So far, Cryptsy has added us to their vote list, and we are negotiating with Bttrex to pay to get listed there. If any of you can help with being listed on some other "big" exchanges, please do so. We will give out some nice bounties to people that help us out with this.

If you have an iPhone, you can download TestFlight app on the Store, sign up on mangocoinz.com and we will give you the MangoCoinz app as a part of our beta test. Coins mined with iPhones are valid, and won't be wiped once the beta ends. Keep in mind that you can't sell any coins in this app yet, and you can't send coins between Android and iOS. If you want to sell coins in the iPhone app, you can use the one click sell within the app, and it will be added to the sell queue. Once the features goes live, coins will be sold.

Since the iPhone app takes only emails and passwords, we have decided to hash everything so the blockchain is now looking a bit different. Adds more security to the overall system.

Web wallet will be made once we get a successful release on Apple.

We agree that a web wallet is necessary, this will be done as soon as the iPhone app is finished, which is next week.

Usecryptos.com seemed fine so far, we will look into what's happening over there, and if we find anything suspicious, we will react. As soon as we launch the iPhone app, we will start contacting large exchanges to get MCZ listed there as well.

Having an online shop of fitness stuff that accepts MCZ is a viable option in the future as well. It's a great concept. We just need to take off with the iPhone app first.

We have another dev that has joined us to work on MCZ, so the team is growing.

Hello everybody!

Some people here ask if the coin is dead or we have given up on the development. Absolutely not! We are breaking our backs here. Srele is working around the clock to bring the iPhone app to the market and we are most likely done with it by next week. This will include the 1 click sell system we have talked about, and probably see MangoCoinz released on some new exchanges.

As for the future of this coin. I hope everybody here saw our new webpage. The bluish one with pics of iPhones marketing a fitness app. That's our go to market strategy with this coin. We are currently running some AB tests to find the perfect value proposition for MangoCoinz that runners and future non crypto users will find interesting. We are also doing this on usabilityhub.com.
So far, we have had nice feedback from runners that have signed up on the website. The explanation on what this is the website provides paints them a picture and they are happy with it. They don't care how it works, but simply where is the money coming from. So we got  that covered.

Things are running a bit slow, that's true. Building a business out of a cryptocurrency miner and wallet pretending to be a fitness app that everyone can and will use is not an easy task. But we are really close now.
One more thing worth mentioning about this business side of things is that we are negotiating to have MangoCoinz used by some high schools in the US who think it's a great opportunity to raise funds for their high schools or even charity. These are 2 new channels we think are worth using to acquire users.
High schools need funding and a lot of them organize fundraising events for their school. With MangoCoinz distributed to their student's phones, they don't have to anymore. Students can now help their high schools out by doing sports, running, and at the same time making money for their school. Sounds cool right? Not nearly as cool as the next thing. Charity fundraising. A lot of people donate to charity, a lot of them visit big charity events. Like huge runs for charity. Now, with MangoCoinz, they can run for charity where ever they are. They don't have to attend the event if they don't want to, they can simply download an app, go for a run, and all the money they make on the run will go to a charity organization. Easy.

A lot of good opportunities have come up on how to promote this, and we are making sure we get ready for all of them. A bright future for this coin guys.

We are very close to re-enabling sending again. Registration won't be re-enabled any time soon. Not for Android devices at least. Before you grab pikes and torches and come to crucify us, we would like to inform you that we have started going around some running forums trying to see how people will react to this. Feedback was pretty good. The casual feel of the iPhone app functions and appearance seems to be very appealing to people that are not cryptocurrency educated. We have started the sign up process for the first 1000 beta testers for the iPhone app. People that like running and have an iPhone are our primary target audience right now.

There is another thing we need to seriously discuss. When the first 1000 iPhone users get their first version of the app, the natural thing for them will be to sell the coins after the first run just to see if the story is true. Even though it will be proven so, the amount of money they receive will be really small. We have already warned people that the money they receive at first is no big amount, but we want to discuss possibilities of making those amounts a bit greater. It goes like this: After an iPhone users clicks the sell button in the app, we handle everything. Make a sell order, or take a buy order if there is a reasonable price. This is the part we need help with. Since the sell order prices are automatized (in other words the fitness user has no input in selling), we need to discuss at what price will we start buying those orders. We are not thinking about absurd prices of course, but it would be nice if it's possible to make it a bit more than 1 cent We had an integration offer from Poloniex, we will see with them about this whole automatized process. So if you were thinking about investing, wait for our release on Poloniex.

Keep in mind that the app functions a lot differently for them. They are limited by a new thing we made called sessions. Once they press start in the app, a session lasting 2 hours (we will adjust the time based on some average session length these people have) will start. During this time we will monitor their activity, running speed and distance covered. Once the session ends, they will be rewarded coins based on their performance. It will be 99% fair. With all the data we will be pulling from their phones during those sessions regarding their run, it's as fair as it can get. We will be requiring an unlimited active data plan from each iPhone user, which is a standard in the iOS market. And of course, the app is still resource light, even on the data plan. There will be a 10% fee on coins once the session ends, which we will use to pay out stake holders, in other words, you guys.

This is something we are thinking about these days, the iPhone app is on the App store mid March (we hope. Apple has their obligatory app review, who knows how long that takes).

Hey everybody. Or at least, everybody who's still with us...

We have had some arguments with our community lately regarding the man who has a phone shop and runs a lot of phones with a lot of MangoCoinz accounts on them. You guys thought it's cheating, we didn't. But, we are taking action against that. Some people stepped up claiming we were thieves. Claimed we were stealing coins and generating them. Saying the system is bad, flawed and wrong. A lot of hate and bashing. But, we accepted that. We moved past it. Now we ask of you, what's left of a once merry and colorful community, to stand with us for a final fight. None of what has happened with the app, or the security matters. The idea still lives. A revolution of payment and reward systems has endured. And it has attracted A LOT of attention. From people that can help, invest and push this, people that started believing in us. In you. The vessels of the idea may be flawed, we made mistakes when coding the app and the security. And we take responsibility for that. We are putting everything we have for this coin, we only ask of you to give us time. Great things are coming. Better days, richer days. The iPhone app will take the market by a storm. There are people with real power making sure it will. And we need you guys to back us up when this happens. It will spiral out of our control if you don't.

Right now, there are no registrations, no sending. But, it's far from dead. It's dormant. Hold on to your faith and your coins. Fitness users will soon come. There will be a lot of them. Cryto people will come with them. Numbers will start rising, and when they do, we WILL be ready. We can, and we will survive the game of becoming great. But only if we do it together. We have to be the machine that will make this run.
