601  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] [Stochastically.com] - Dividend Returns - updated daily on: August 14, 2012, 06:22:05 AM
Need to change the site title that shows in the browser to "Stochastically.com" as the current one is "Stochatically.com"

 Smiley

Thanks, got that fixed.
602  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] [Stochastically.com] - Dividend Returns - updated daily on: August 14, 2012, 05:57:45 AM
I updated the dividend tables so now they are scrollable and the table headings are still visible.

Edit:

I forgot to mention, it is also capable of searching through the charts for a specific security.
603  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Stochastically.com : Free Bitcoin Finance Site for GLBSE on: August 13, 2012, 11:28:12 PM
It would be cool if the column titles were fixed at the top so when you scroll down the page you can still see them. Looks good. Nice work.

The dividend tables are not scrollable while keeping the sortable function as well.
604  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptostocks - Bitcoin denominated Stock Exchange on: August 13, 2012, 06:03:16 PM
The current API is providing "only" a snapshot of the current information: ticker, name, currency, bid, ask, last and volume for 24h, 5d and 30d. We are in the progress of constantly expanding the features provided, including the API. If you have concrete requirements feel free to send them to customerservice@cryptostocks.com and we will do the best we can to accommodate them.

Is there a twitter feed that lists the trades?
605  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptostocks - Bitcoin denominated Stock Exchange on: August 13, 2012, 04:56:26 AM
It doesn't look like your API is able to get trade history.  If it does I can add the assets listed on that to my dividend charts and other financial info at http://www.stochastically.com
606  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] BDT - 3% weekly interest bond, backed by Bitdaytrade on: August 10, 2012, 07:36:40 PM
What is the point of having a secondary market if traders react on rumors?
607  Economy / Securities / Re: Motion Raised! Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive on [GLBSE] on: August 09, 2012, 11:17:06 PM
If you think PatrickHarnett's business is risky, I'd stay away from any and all GLBSE securities.

His pirate passthrough or something else?
Hell no. His normal low-risk 1%/week compounding deal. Patrick's pirate passthrough is far from optimal, unless you don't trust any other pirate passthrough vendor.

That would be somewhat acceptable although maybe Kluge could give a better deal as he was one of the largest investors if that still is the case.

Give it to PatrickHarnett and get 1.08 BTC/week on it. That's almost 50 bucks a month which can go towards ASICs

I think this would be a good idea.

What is being given?

Additionally, we have a dormant 108.01BTC. I think we should hold on to it until more asic companies start appearing, then make a decision. Any other suggestions here?

In that case, there should be a motion that specifically outlines what to do with bitcoins on hand.  I personally would stay away from any high risk investments.  If shareholders want to invest in those high risk investments then they should be given a dividend and invest it themselves.

Looks like a legitimate NC driver's license, based on comparing it to my own.

Your Certificate of Registration was issued in January, which is strange, since your mining business seems to have been started in July or August. Any comment?

Nice to see another person living in NC I live on the coast myself Smiley. The Registration is good for any business as long as they dont fall unde any ATF, used batteries tires metal recycling or things like that. I was actually going to push vending carts up and down the beach when I applied for it but, the beaches have bans on merchant carts.

As for holding the picture up to my face do you really want to see me that bad, Jk Ill get on that anything to insure potential investors!

Thanks for the Support mc_lovin, let me know if you need the favor returned ever Ill do what I can.

No sock on your head?

j/k I am convinced it is you.
613  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] Dividend Returns - updated weekly on: August 08, 2012, 06:14:54 AM
Any chance, you can add weekly price change using the "last trade" for calculations.
Those averages are available in GLBSE, so why duplicate it Smiley

I am actually working on having each active asset having its own page, similar to Google Finance.  It will contain the price range, %div return, and other metrics.  It will also contain the contract info, management info, and hopefully an area that will allow users to vote(predict) the solvency of an asset.

One more idea, if you do not mind: please add small tick marks to price chart, to indicate the moment of dividend payment.
For so called "bonds", the "current yield" (running yield) is a really interesting metric. (warning: can be misleading)

CY= next coupon payment/ current price

Those perpetual bonds need a decay rate.
614  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Public STATEMENT Regarding Bitcoinica account hack at MtGox on: August 08, 2012, 03:34:34 AM
I hope everyone can comment with more reasoning and less assumptions. I'm trying my best to calm down and attempt to get more information about the hacker, because he also used my email for a credit card fraud case. It's possible to discover something at that direction.

I have also listed a few people who know this secret email of mine. And I'm going to question them one by one tonight.

I'm definitely on the side of Bitcoinica customers and I believe that if the real hacker really had ties with me personally like what MagicalTux said, I may be able to recover majority of the amount back if the hacker can be warned. This issue is very serious and if I'm the hacker, I would definitely return the full amount back to reduce the criminal punishment.

The hacker seems to be a Chinese because he used Chinese punctuations in his English messages in the Aurumxchange ticket.

I will provide any information needed to the police once Bitcoinica files a police report.

Now that makes no sense.

You steal the funds just to return them to reduce criminal punishment?

LOL

But if the thief says he is sorry, then it is ok, right?
615  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Houston, Texas, United States on: August 08, 2012, 02:49:12 AM
It might be a good idea for myself to speak with the members of TX/RX and see about getting an informal BITCOIN NIGHT for non members of TX/RX that is NOT a Friday night.

Thoughts?

I think that is a great idea, I would show up for that.  I took some welding classes at TX/RX about a year ago but have never had a chance to get back due to time problems.  It is a great place though.

Why don't you hold the ID up to your face?

618  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN BUY IS GOOD FOR SAVING PURPOSE on: August 07, 2012, 06:35:25 PM
if you think bitcoin is a risky investment, you have no balls

Isn't part of "having balls" doing risky things?

i guess i mean

if you think bitcoin is too risky, you have no balls

The bigger the balls the easier target to get kicked.
619  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] Dividend Returns - updated weekly on: August 07, 2012, 03:57:43 PM
Hi stochastic,

I seems ABM is missing in the chart, could you fix this?

Greetz

Stochastically.com dividend tables are only updated if there was a dividend payment and at least one active trade of the asset in the time period that the chart looks at.  It does not look like there were any trades of ABM since July 16th.  This is why it is in the 30 day table but not the 7 day table.

Great idea, I did not even think about that.  Will add that when I can.
