601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is here to stay. on: November 18, 2022, 09:08:53 AM
Yes, there really isn't any good news at the moment affecting the market as the bear market has taken control and a lot of FUD has amplified this year's losses.
But this is one of Cyrcle's successes as the issuer of Stable Coin USDC from Crypto Currency who is able to work with the world's largest technology companies by integrating USDC into transactions on Apple Pay.
With Apple's 1.8 billion users, I think it will expand the use of crypto around the world for being able to make payments easily, quickly and privately on Apple Pay.

602  Other / Off-topic / Re: Life lessons from Bill gates and how it could make you a successful entrepreneur on: November 17, 2022, 06:25:38 PM
Bill Gates is indeed a figure who is a motivator for life in the world of technology. At first, he bought programs from other companies, but he was able to modify and create something new called MS-DOS (Microsoft Disk Operating System).
This thread is not meant to demand you become Bill Gates but rather to look at the principles of taking chances in your field to reap success.

Talking about success in every business, I think privilege or background can affect the percentage of success, why is that?
If a rich person uses his wealth and connections to support innovations or experiments that he makes into something better and new to achieve his goals, the presentation of success will be very high. Meanwhile, ordinary people who do not have a lot of capital and connections who want to support them will find it very difficult to innovate, let alone experiment, because, in their mindset, family needs come first.
603  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Strategies for Trading. on: November 17, 2022, 03:28:26 PM
Hello guys. What are the possible Currency pairs trading strategies that a newbie can follow up. It should be from personal observations, beliefs and practices. Thanks.

Everyone has a trading strategy according to their abilities and understanding of the indicators as a basis for consideration for trading, indeed no strategy guarantees success.
Talking about trading strategy advice will be difficult if you just watch on social media without special guidance or just listen to your friends, even if your friend is successful with the strategy he has created, you may not be able to use your friend's strategy.
This is influenced by factors of knowledge, mentality, targets, and risks taken.
Here I will give you the basic strategy that I usually use:
1. Decide on a strategy to enter
2. Determine the risk/reward ratio
3. Determine the size of the position according to the Stop Loss target
4. Determine the exit strategy or Take Profit
5. Keep journals and notes for evaluation
604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 17, 2022, 12:42:47 PM
~snip~
Saudi Arabia is better than UAE but these two teams overall level is below Argentina one by far. Argentina shouldn't have difficult times to pass its group without a defeat, they might get a draw but I don't see one of the teams in that group able to beat them.
I even expect +3 goals vs Saudi Arabia.
Few days left from the first game and we still hear about serious injuries in some teams during the training sessions!

My prediction for all groups that should qualify in the first stage is:
Group A: Holland, which is visibly the strongest country and Ecuador in second;
Group B: England, one of the favorites to reach the finals, followed by the United States perhaps;
Group C: Argentina for sure and Mexico in second place;
Group D: France and Denmark
Group E: Spain, which is one of the favorites in this cup, and Japan, which is also a very strong team.
Group F: Belgium and Croatia
Group G: Brazil, obviously. Followed by Serbia in second place.
Group H: Portugal and Uruguay

Switzerland, in my opinion, is more worthy than Serbia, where they currently have players who are quite reliable in every position on the team, so far they have performed quite well in the game, and have been able to compete with Spain and Germany in the last matches.

Meanwhile, the Swiss team led by Murat Yakin in the last 15 matches won 7 matches, drew 4 matches and lost 3 matches.
not easily beaten by Serbia or Brazil.
I think Switzerland should be considered in terms of player stats and match history.
605  Economy / Economics / Re: MONEY IS THE MOTIVATING FACTOR, what do you think? on: November 17, 2022, 07:26:17 AM
We cannot avoid that money would play a role for us to keep going and getting motivated on what we do. There are people who can’t seem to be happy and motivated to continue working because of their poor financial status.

But at the same time, we are also not happy and easily get bored if we just work for something that is not giving us the passion, excitement, etc., despite receiving at least a decent amount of money every day, week, month or so.

For us to sustain, we must balance both passion and money. Never quit from your boring job to fully focus on your passion. That is my biggest mistake back then years ago where I quit my high paying job to chase my passion, but in the end I cannot sustain myself and got broke.

You must be financially stable and established first before you can fully enjoy what you’ve been passionate on.

Many people are motivated by money because money can give power, popularity, and respect, to those who have it.
Of course, they would be motivated if that was offered, and we realized that until recently those with money had freedom over what they wanted to do.
This is the concept of money as power even though in our minds money does not give happiness but money gives satisfaction and a sense of pride to most people in the world.
In this extraordinary world with advances in technology and information, no one doesn't want to have money because everyone wants to have money as a medium of exchange for goods and services to survive.
606  Economy / Economics / Re: People looking For new ways to make money in Crisis new growing industry on: November 17, 2022, 03:31:11 AM
One way Are mlm crypto mlm trading use to be good but we can clearly see that start falling.

Mlm looks easy Also becouse you can reqruit people and earn profit.
I see this area enourmous growth potential over the next few decades.
People want to be there where action and liquity thanks to crypto the mlm can Grow Even bigger then oil, btc, forex marketing it can Grow large becouse people want always get rich ways without working.

It can all start from africa and India people there love MLM business If this will Grow big then the wall Street and bankers can play with each other with their stock market and money becouse people might be not interested If Market dont move Smiley

Crypto industry Will stay becouse it's liquity for mlm but stock market Will go away becouse people not interested companies they just want high return of their Investment on order to earn money daily.

The solution here Are the Fed Will step in and start making markets alive again and we can earn otherwise people Will look other ways like mlm or referal comision based income

If Multi Level Marketing were to become a cryptocurrency marketing business model it would look like a Ponzi scheme because there are no items that we can touch when we buy them, only lines and pictures that we get.
a big advantage for those who join early on is a percentage of sales and those who feel at a disadvantage are those who join last.
this will lead to a lot of fraud on a global scale and what is more dangerous is that no one will trust crypto and Bitcoin anymore if this happens.

we often see this marketing system used by companies and the results don't last long, of course, this will make the future of Crypto worse.
607  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Bear Market Mistakes to Avoid on: November 16, 2022, 04:41:56 PM
Basically correct, you know before when talking of investment or trading what comes into my mind always is the risking factors and the next is are you willing to bear the risk or not, and as a trader having a positive mindsets is alway a thing to look into otherwise losing is inevitable. Before making a decision to start the investment journey or even involving in trading is to gain the basic understand which includes the fundamentals which is among those you have just outlined.

In trading that I experienced, we cannot think positively continuously, it will increase optimism which is quite dangerous in trading both defeats and wins, will make careless choices. During my trading, positive and negative thoughts must be in your brain and heart so you can consider the risks you take. Why is that?
Positive thinking will overshadow us to keep trying and trying because it comes from self-confidence that gives birth to ambition.
Whereas negative thoughts will give us a sense of fear that makes us aware.
The conclusion is that negative and positive thoughts must exist as a controlling power within us, when to continue and when to stop.
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your lost from FTX collapse on: November 16, 2022, 03:13:11 PM
I didn't invest in the SBF (FTX) platform provided so I didn't lose a dime there, $0, but I was affected by the incident that came to FTX after what happened to Terra Luna. I had 3 months of savings in Bitcoin and Altcoins at the start of 2022, and when I saw my portfolio drop 75% of the total, it made me gawk.
Previously I planned not to open a portfolio because it would be stressful if I opened a portfolio. After all, a lot of big storms have happened in the economic world that have had an impact on crypto. I would have previously assumed the money was gone and forgot about it and would have opened 5 years later. but the situation that happened in the crypto world made me panic and try to open my portfolio.

this was quite a shock and caused a mental attack Cry
609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 16, 2022, 01:51:59 PM
Ronaldo and Messi gonna perform their best as individuals playing for their country. This is their last world cup, am expecting them to deliver their best for their country cos all eyes and expectations are on them. The chances of Portugal and Argentina meeting each other at the finals is very slim, both countries will play their best but not reach the finals. If there is a way Portugal will meet Argentine in the world cup, I will love it. Let both goat play against each other the last time before they call football quit

I doubt the performance of his legendary rival recently, Ronaldo is now 37 years old, it will be very difficult for him, his stamina will be very far from his heyday. Likewise, Lionel Messi is 35 years old, but in every game he plays, Messi is somewhat better than the game shown by Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United.
Their era will soon be replaced by new rivals in the world of football, there will be new star candidates in my opinion who will be present such as:

1. Jude Bellingham (England)
2. Gavi (Spain)
3. Bukayo Saka (English)
4. Jamal Musiala (Germany)
5. Pedri (Spain)
6. Vinicius Junior (Brazil)
610  Other / Off-topic / Re: Lay off vs Pay cut on: November 16, 2022, 10:16:22 AM
Companies may choose to layoff its employees for several reasons which include but not limited to cost-cutting, staff reduction, relocation, buyouts, and mergers. When you go the Google and search for layoffs you would find out it almost seems like a conspiracy among big companies to layoff its staff almost simultaneously.
  • Meta, laid off 11,000 people
  • Twitter, laid off about 3,700 people
  • Stripe,  laid off about 1,000 people
  • Salesforce, laid off hundreds of its employees last week
  • Microsoft, laid off fewer than 1,000 jobs
  • Zillow, Snap and Robinhood, laid off 300 of its employees late last month.

A pay cut is a decrease in an employee’s compensation. It could be a reduction in salary, benefits, hours and more — it’s not limited to monetary compensation. It can happen for a variety of reasons. For example, a company might be trying to avoid layoffs and/or save money during a tumultuous period, with the intention of returning salaries to normal once the threat is over.

Let's suppose your boss called you into his/her office and explained the company's situation. He/she then gives you the option of getting laid off or taking a 50% pay cut. If you were to choose one of these options, what would it be and why?

It's a dilemma for me to choose between the two.
If I choose to be laid off, it will be very difficult for me because at times like these there are rarely job vacancies, even opening a business is not necessarily successful, especially for me who is used to depending on salary. at the end of the month.

If I choose a 50% pay cut it will be difficult for me to make ends meet, while my 8 hours/day job will be very tiring and not worth the salary I get.
For me, the second option is better and it seems I have to negotiate the percentage of salary and timeframe to be discussed more deeply so that no one feels disadvantaged either the company or personally.
611  Economy / Economics / Re: What is Inflation? A Crash-Explanation on: November 16, 2022, 03:30:21 AM
For starters, unlike most economics teachers, we wouldn't use analogies, as those prove to cause even more confusion than help. We'll get straight to the point.

I will help explain Inflation and Deflation with the simplest possible analogy so that it can be understood.

Inflation is a condition of continuous increase in prices, both prices for goods and services. This price increase has an impact on the weakening of people's purchasing power which will be followed by a decrease in the production of goods and services.

If left unchecked for a long time, this will result in high unemployment due to mass layoffs, poverty, and recession.

Deflation is a condition in which the price of goods and services decreases from time to time which in turn results in a decrease in the wages paid.

Deflation is also characterized by delaying the purchase of goods or services until the lowest price. This of course is very risky for business owners. Because, although people's purchasing power tends to increase business owners have to reduce production costs which leads to business losses.

If the community or business unit stops carrying out economic activities such as spending their money, the existing economic conditions may be damaged.
612  Economy / Speculation / Re: Every signal is a speculation on: November 14, 2022, 05:58:03 PM
The news sentiment for Bitcoin and altcoin assets is one of its own fundamentals in the stock market because news speculation has a big effect on fluctuations.
In trading we not only have to rely on technical ability to predict, but we also have to stay updated about the news circulating as an indicator to set long or short.
yes, each analysis has its own way of resetting its research, so there are not a few who are contradictory and indifferent in their speculations. but back to speculation which gives the best signal for bullish or bearish depending on how popular and existing a person is in the world of crypto and economics
613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto.com in trouble? on: November 14, 2022, 04:57:58 PM
I have been investing in Crypto.com , now known as Cronos, since March this year.

I see it has been falling in the last 24 hours as many are panicking it could be one of the next exchanges in trouble.

I have just tried to deposit some money onto my crypto.com account and it has left my bank but not reached my account and this was over half an hour ago now, it usually reaches my account in a few minutes.

Is there currently a problem with deposits??

What does everyone think about crypto.com is it in trouble or should be ok?

A lot of anomalies are happening to the crypto.com exchange that is sponsoring the world cup next week, which I know of:
1. Crypto.com has a dangerous reserve of assets, funny that an exchange as big as Crypto.com keeps more $SHIB than $ETH in its wallet. they are brave enough to put Resave from user in $SHIB even more than $ETH.
https://twitter.com/CryptoOMG88/status/1591232162531266562?s=20&t=5vHQfSvYS5SCUTkup3_dfA

2. in the last 2 weeks Crypto.com sent 320K ETH to Gate.io and then Gate.io sent back 280K $ETH.
Kris said what happened was the wrong transfer. this is a very very strange thing, big exchange crypto.com made a transfer error.
https://twitter.com/CryptoOMG88/status/1591629547111608320?s=20&t=5vHQfSvYS5SCUTkup3_dfA

3. I think CZ was insinuating what happened to crypto.com via his thread on Twitter.
https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1591690261029130240?s=20&t=ewlTiJgFK2GLUW0Ewx2XSg

a lot of anomalies have happened to the Crypto.com exchange in the past few weeks. I recommend being careful if you have assets on the exchange.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk have Just a year to make back his money🙆 on: November 14, 2022, 03:37:18 PM
Twitter's mMAUs (monthly Monetizable Active Users) stands at 450 million. If they pay $8 per month, that gives Elon $3.6B per month. It will take 13 months to make $44B - the purchase price QED. Elon Musk is a genius.

It's too early to jump to conclusions about Twitter's pretty tough monthly revenue of $44 billion over 13 months going into Elon's pocket. This value is the accumulation of the overall revenue earned from the monetization of the social media company, excluding advertising. while twitter must pay employees, operations, taxes, directors, and others. so I can say $44 billion is not Elon Musk's net income.
The Tesla CEO only owns 9.2% of his total stake in Twitter, so it took him several years to recover his capital from his shareholding in Twitter.
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogelon Mars. on: November 14, 2022, 12:48:41 PM
it's quite interesting to try your luck on this meme token, maybe what happened to meme tokens like the shiba and doge coin skyrocketing in 2021 will happen to dogelanmars in 2023. to invest some in these tokens it doesn't seem like a problem, even though it's very impossible with the market development is like this, but who would know the pump will happen to the dogelonmars coin with this project.
but I recommend investing in meme coins not to expect more because it has a huge potential to become Shitcoin.
616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 14, 2022, 12:30:35 AM
Juventus team just destroyed lazio and took the third  position from them after beating them 3 0 its a well deserved win for juve, they seem unstopable at the moment in the serie A with six consecutive wins and no goal conceided if it wasn't for that shaky begining they would've been putting pressure on napoli team.
A very good result from juventus. Lazio may be above juventus but juventus has proven its capability against lazio. it seems like that juventus was coming back to create wintstreak again. It's slowly climbing up again after facing difficult time at the early season. The quality of juventus already proven in that match. loosing ball possession against lazio was nothing for juventus and it can come back with a better thing to make three goals in a row against lazio. juventus is performing so good at that match

I'm so happy my favourite team won the game for the umpteenth time. Initially, I thought Lazio's attack would pay off at the end of the match but it turned out to be enough to attract Juventus' counter-attack after Lazio failed to penetrate the Juventus defence and finally led to a goal at the feet of Moise Kean. from a kick outside the final box in the 43rd minute.
Massimilano Allegri's men scored their second goal in the 54th minute to make it 2-0 taking advantage of the commotion in the last box, and finally Federico Chiesa's cross in the 90th minute was put to good use by Arkadiusz Milik to make it 3-0 until the end of the game.
looks like this 2000-born kid (Moise Kean) was the star of last night's game and has bright hopes for this season.
617  Economy / Speculation / Re: There will be more down - bearish on BTC on: November 13, 2022, 01:15:12 PM
Theres sure to be more tests now this event has negated support, momentum and the recovery a few times over.   how many tests are required to rebuild support is debatable but at least we break from the sideways range I think is quite certain now.  I dont think this exchange was a big enough reason but its not for me to decide.

The price that is going down lately can be linked to it IMO. Bitcoin almost have recovered and climbing above $20k and suddenly started slumping down to $17k. I hope that this December season can bring it back to recovery otherwise we may keep seeing more falling in 2023 because it is a year preciding the halving and usually it goes bear at such time.

Last week I was optimistic that the price would continue to rise and touch $ 25k, unfortunately the big case, FTX, made panic and had a big impact, FTX had a greater impact than Luna because it was proven that many investors sell assets and make large pressures and if FTX did not recover it would have more impact Large is the price can drop below $ 15K.
Yes, that's right, most likely the market will continue to be bearish until 2023 in terms of news and market sentiment, also not a few analysts and media say it makes Holder desperate.
what happened to the FTX, scares holders big and small today.

but it's prophecy and prediction, we don't know what will happen the next day after this incident.

but could this be an opportunity for us to save some money and buy Bitcoin at the lowest price later and keep it for a few years? I guess I'll tell some of my friends about this.
618  Economy / Economics / Re: Business failure among small-scale entrepreneurs on: November 13, 2022, 10:43:55 AM
I think the biggest problem that makes a small -scale business fail is ineffective coaching, many small entrepreneurs who do not care to make the business effective, they only rely on experiences that have been seen or felt so that when there is a change there will be difficulty competing with other entrepreneurs.
It is not because they don't care too much for their business but it was because of the lack of strategies and knowledge.
of course, having a coach is a great idea and I know many of the starters did this and went successful. But this is not only the thing we need to acquire but have the commitment to do this as well. Coaching is somewhat useless if we are not following them. A person will only succeed If they are also willing to change their attitude and mindset.
I guess, for a small business that hires or has a coach, that's too special in my opinion.
the biggest thing that makes a small business go bankrupt or destroyed, from the results of my survey in the field it is usually done by people who mix business finances with expenses for daily living needs and do not have records of incoming and outgoing financial statements, this is a fatal mistake and cannot be known by small entrepreneurs. Financial reports are one of the important things that must be in every business that aims to control and manage business finances properly.
619  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can Binance also get bankrupt soon? on: November 13, 2022, 08:02:00 AM
this is a possibility that could happen but is very unlikely, since the first conversation CZ (Changpeng Zhao) with his colleagues at the poker table and founded in 2017 until now it has become the largest crypto exchange and is ranked No. 1 in the world with a wealth of USD 65 billion so that it becomes one of the richest people in the world thanks to its business in the crypto world, I think this is very unlikely to happen on the Binance exchange, Binance's reputation is an exchange with the highest level of trust in the crypto world. I'm sure people like Chanpeng Zhao have a lot of treatment plans to anticipate every problem. what happened to FTX will be an important lesson for Binance's future progres.
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Generate Profit in this bear time? on: November 13, 2022, 02:30:40 AM
In many days i see in my port filo 5$ up and 5$ down , what is the best strategy to increase profit?
this is quite interesting to look for profits in real-time and is done continuously, maybe playing futures trading is a solution to increase your portfolio, you can double it there by taking short or long term, plus the income earned can be taken on the same day to meet your daily needs. or maybe doubling it down and trying your luck on a gambling platform isn't bad either.
I think you just need to control your emotions and thoughts if you want to play in both, and of course, you have to be aware of when to stop and when to continue.
