601  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you guess about he future of bitcoin? on: June 26, 2016, 02:42:45 AM
Most likely the bitcoin will be very good and it will be globally known talking about the worth, I honestly do not know what I have to expect from the market value in the future.
It could be very good but also pretty bad in my eyes.
602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: June 26, 2016, 02:39:22 AM
I simply don't think the general public can get used to the virtual currency where a string of characters translates to monetary value.
The distance between a malware/phishing scam is the computer and the bank.  Now that you move your money into your computer, stored as a string,
the distance between your money and it getting stolen feels a lot smaller. Hence the trust issue.

People really have issues with the trusting part of the bitcoin this is without doubts true, the bitcoin also simply has a bad name due to the media that only told some bad stories about it..
603  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: June 22, 2016, 11:28:11 AM
anything below 1k is buy buy buy !

well i dont know if anything below 1k is a good idea, but what im pretty sure is that halving is coming, and if everything goes like i expected, the price of the bitcoin will grow up x2 or maybe x3, to come back to a x2 Wink

so yes maybe is a good idea to invest now on bitcoin.
I dont think you should buy your bitcoins right now and that is because there are to many people selling their coins and that causes a price increase so just wait.

The bitcin price dropped to $620 now. It seems that is good price to buy if you think the price will rise later.

Which chart are you checking? It's 670 here (at bitfinex), but going to 620 is something that wouldn't surprise me. The financial markets are very unstable and that's why you can see this kind of volume (over 300.000) at the moment.
604  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyday where the price hasn't exploded to the moon yet is celebration day on: June 22, 2016, 11:23:10 AM
Well I trust bitcoin now. I add some to my stash day to day accumulating it hoping it would have a very big value many years from now. At first I doubt bitcoin but now I fully trust that it will meet my expectations.

I like the positivity of the OP. Yes the price is going down and yes bitcoin is worth way more then the price is showing us the charts. But remember Rome was not built in 1 day.
The process of bitcoin from becoming an idea, to a name, to a currency to the most innovating thing we have seen the last 100 years is a slow but steady process.
605  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin have lost more than $100 in a day... on: June 22, 2016, 11:18:56 AM
There are high chances its heading back down from one of those levels though, most likely, but anything is possible of course and the uptrend is a strong one, so be careful (long term uptrend) sellers already stepping in and rejecting higher prices, buyers stronger tho still so far, gonna be surprised if they can take it much higher made it right through 675, looking pretty strong so far;starting to look like it may be a reversal, but still needs to get above 690 resistance area

I see the downtrend has already started. Which means forget 100 dollar, it will go much lower then 100 dollar. I don't expect it to go to 350 but yes nobody knows and anything can happen.
The only thing we should be careful now is to not fall into panic selling.
606  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: June 22, 2016, 11:15:23 AM
I will choose bitcoin. I think its price will double every year for the next 20 years, then it will rise 20% per year later.

It's not sure that bitcoin will go up and up year after year. You did not experience 2014 and even a large part of 2015 was really bad for holder. Not much price action.
So yes when it comes so stability I go for Gold.
607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: June 21, 2016, 02:31:36 PM
I do not think gambling is wrong, it is wrong when people expect to always win

I also do not think that it is wrong to gamble because those people have earned there own money and if they decide to gamble it away that is on them. So it is not problem and i do not have the right do decide what is good or wrong.
608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 21, 2016, 02:22:19 PM
Today my bets will go to

Northern Ireland v Germany

Germany wins & more than 1,5 goals

Ukraine v Poland

Draw at the end of the first half and less than 2,5 goals

I hope I can get these bets right Tongue
Germany is going to win that match without a problem I think. I also thought that the first game that they played but it did not go that well that game.
But I have complete confidence in them and that they are going to win there next match.
609  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if we sit at $310-$340 for 2 more years? on: June 21, 2016, 02:16:38 PM
I think that if the price would be stable for so long I really have no other choice but to stop with Bitcoin or to take a break.
I think that I would take a break for that time and see how it is going to be after the break.
610  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2.5 Years in Bitcoin and still holding. on: June 21, 2016, 02:12:27 PM
i got all my freelance work payment via bitcoin all these 3 years. spent very little. believed in bitcoin and was holding all these times. finally its going uppppp !!! who is holding like me since this long?
Good for you that you have been able to hold on to your Bitcoin for such a long time, I would not be able to do that. If you have been holding for so long then I am sure that you will be able to make a huge profit right now if you sold.
611  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: June 21, 2016, 02:07:34 PM
The halving is not bad for the Bitcoin but it is bad for the people that want to earn coins because now after the halving it becomes way harder to earn Bitcoins.
But because of the halving coming the price is going up fast which is a good.
612  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency? on: June 21, 2016, 02:03:33 PM
If Bitcoin became a legal currency the one thing that the government would do is putting tax on it so that they could also make money on it like they always do.
That is why I do not hope that it does not hope that the Bitcoin becomes fully legal.
613  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: June 21, 2016, 01:55:17 PM
I have Bitcoin because I really quite like this platform. I think it's a brilliant invention.
On top of that it's quite fun to send/receive/use Smiley
The reason why I have Bitcoin is because to make money and that is really the only reason. There are some people that have the Bitcoin because they gamble with it or they want to shop inline. Some even have it for all those reason.
614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: June 21, 2016, 01:51:05 PM
I think that you will only be able to explain Bitcoin to someone if you let them watch you do your thing and explain at the same time what you are doing.
Just go easy and slow so that he or she will understand it better. If you go to fast with to much information that person will forget more then halve of what you just sad.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016 NBA Finals on: June 21, 2016, 08:08:07 AM
Congratulations to Cleveland Cavaliers to become the champion on NBA 2016. What a result though, comeback and win 3 streak games versus Warriors.
I did not think that it was possible for the Cleveland Caveliers to take down the Warriors after the Warriors were up 3-1 in the series. I also do not believ how the Warriors did not finish that series. They had to finish it when they had the momentum.
616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 21, 2016, 08:02:51 AM
Draw was enough for England they got it. Finishing first or second doesn't really matter. Wales surprised me though. I didn't expect Russia to play that bad and concede 3 goals. Gareth Bale is the top goalscorer now with 3 goals.

Gareth bale has scores in 3 consecutive euro tournament so far, he is great but really underrated in real madrid. From this tournament we can see that bale is actually not really just a sidekick to ronaldo in real madrid. In fact, ronaldo hasnt even score for portugal yet ever since the euro game began
To be honest I do not think that Gareth Bale is underrated in real Madrid it may seem that way but I am sure that if they thought he was not good that they would let him play in some many and important games.
617  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is going up and up on: June 21, 2016, 07:56:55 AM
I usually go on reddit to see if any good news have popped up. Seems there's nothing so I believe it could be just a random up trend.
The Bitcoin is keep rising and rising and this is a very good thing for the people that want to sell some of there coins to make some money.
This is also a good thing because now the Bitcoin gets allot of attention which could lead to more users.
618  Economy / Speculation / Re: should i go 50/50 with gold and bitcoin? on: June 21, 2016, 07:51:09 AM
I think that it is a pretty smart thing to do by investing in both gold and the Bitcoin. This way you have somewhat a better chance. if the one is not as good you can still rely on the other one.
So check it out for a bit and see of it really works. It does not hurt if you try it out.
619  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: June 21, 2016, 07:46:12 AM
Lets say I want to buy bitcoins today and store them for 20 years to use a my retirement fund.  Live comfortably, but don't need to buy a yacht or anything.  How many do you think I would need to buy?
I think that if you have at least 100 and we have a price in the future that we somewhat expect now then you should be all right. But do not rely on the Bitcoin only try to save ass much money possible from your day job ass well.
620  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good idea to buy bitcoins now? on: June 21, 2016, 07:40:20 AM
I was wondering if it was a good idea to buy Bitcoins now considering that there are only 42 days left until Bitcoin block reward is halving.
what do you guys think? Smiley
Its is not a bad idea to buy some Bitcoins now you know. The price is still rising at the moment so if you buy now and sell over a week or so then you will make a profit.
It maybe will not be much but it still can earn you some money if you invest in it.
