More good news and coming from an official such as Andolfatto. This does nothing but put bitcoin in a more positive spotlight. And he is correct, it is the WORLDS next great safe asset.

Nice to see that governments are paying attention and by debating it they are giving it credence. Not sure how they think they can regulate it but we will see.

Good article for the crypto world in general. Big mentions: Openbazaar - should be coming out of testing soon and will be a decentralized market place. Ethereum - exciting decentralized platform

My partner is experienced in business and I am experienced managing over our workers. We already have created the website (although we are redesigning it at the moment), the faucet, and are about 75% complete with our unique arbitrage bot. We will start with contracts when we figure out the ownership. Right now we are basing it off trust because the only partners we want are people who can see the possibilities of the business and are just as passionate about it as we are.
It's good to know that you don't mind getting contracts involved at some point, things are at stake with proprietary projects and idealy someone has to handle this responsibility. Good luck. I second this. Make sure there is a good contract so that both parties know what they are getting into and what to expect with profits. Web developers usually like a % upfront though. Good luck in your search.

Good news, I have been watching this one and hope to be trying it out soon. Also good to see they are trying to get on Azure because at this point it will come down to who is NOT on Azure.

yes and good. We need a revolution in auto technology, one in which we do not need resources like oil, especially because it is the cause of so many wars. The industry has been suppressed for decades.

The whole thing is designed to price out start-ups, and when there are none, some of the old-school Wall Street firms will step in as regulated bitcoin operators.
Monopolies tend to use expensive barriers to entry to prevent new entrants - I wouldn't be surprised if BitLicence was introduced because Wall Street lobbied for it.
I hope this is not the case but it makes sense. I am sure the paperwork is cumbersome and what a pain to wait this long.

What is the real price of DASH in this moment?

It is down right now for the moment. Not a bad price considering the possibilities of this blockchain service. This is one of the alts with a strong community and strong developers.

Nice rise right now, and on a holiday. I have seen this before where there are spikes on holidays. Who is trading it? Asia is still in bed. Any ideas on what caused the spike?

Wow, must say very nice prediction! How long will the bottom last before the next alt rise?
|
|

Bitcoin will have no successor, only technologies and coins that exist with it. Bitcoin will work out the current issues and the technology is still superior to all coins out there.

Wow, .19% is a very low number. There is a lot of potential here and Bitcoin would fit in perfectly. Credit cards for these kinds of micro-transactions is simply outdated.

There is room for many altcoin technologies to exist with Bitcoin. Some alts serve different purposes and are innovative technologies as well. For example - any altcoin working with IoT technologies have an interesting future apart from bitcoin.
There is definitely a lot of unfounded hype going on right now in altcoins but the cream will rise to the top.

Yet another country or bank that is going to launch its' own digital currency. yawn.

Always buying little bits here and there, sometimes having to sell but continue to replenish. Why? Because Bitcoin is the future of currency and it is great to be part of it.

Mining is profitable, therefore no one would mine. If some people think it's not profitable, the difficulty will drop, and some other people in some other place with a better ratio of electricity/cost will take advantage of the decreased difficulty to start a mining business... Bitcoin network will always adapt, it's a free market.
No other coin is anywhere near being competition to Bitcoin, so sit down and wait because it's not going to die anytime soon.
This is is the best explanation to your question if Bitcoin will die. Bitcoin is highly adaptable as it was designed that way.

'Damage the economy', I don't think so. Bitcoin could do nothing but help the economy in Venezuela as well as banking the unbanked. It won't affect Bitcoin.

The final version looks great. I like the color combo and I also like the logo. Interface looks great for usability. Interested to watch this coin.
