601  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and War Crimes? on: November 16, 2023, 03:45:07 PM
Will bitcoin market go on crash mood because last time was coronavirus.
What are your thoughts?
I think that could be the reason of crash.

Highly doubt this is possible since Bitcoin is not directly involved on both country in war. Also there’s still ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia yet Bitcoin price is rallying now like there’s no war happening.

Israel Palestine war is already ongoing for a long time even before this recent tension yet Bitcoin is not affected on this kind event. I believe global economy crisis can be catalyst on a scenario that you are thinking but we all know that Bitcoin bounce back no matter what happened so who cares about the effect of war.
602  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Tokenized Treasury Bonds ng Pilipinas magbubukas ngayong Nov. 20, 2023 on: November 16, 2023, 03:13:50 PM

Read more information here: https://cointelegraph.com/news/philippines-sells-179-m-tokenized-treasury-bonds

603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Winning big amount after watching streamer on: November 16, 2023, 03:07:20 PM

This is my winning screenshot.

Sometimes watching streamer and being motivated to play unknown games to us brings luck out of nowhere. Keep on trying but just don’t over commit. Trying the unknown and winning big time is really fun experience.

This is a massive win considering that use a high volatility slot games from hacksaw gaming. The highest win I achieved on this provider is just a mere 20$ from a 0.2$ bet but I lose lot in the process so I definitely don’t have a cherished memories on this slot game.

You are very lucky to manage on winning that tons of money out of penny. This is the advantage of playing high risk high reward slot games. You can win big time any moment but also you can lose big time to without winning huge multiplier.
604  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much was the price of Bitcoin when you started trading? on: November 15, 2023, 05:14:30 PM
The question today is how much was the price of Bitcoin when you started trading?

Started trading? I started earning Bitcoin through faucet when the price is only 100$ but that time trading is not yet popular in my country since CEX is not that well known here so I started trading a year before I start actually earning Bitcoin and learned basic knowledge on it.

I first trade my Bitcoin at price of 1000$ since it’s already x10 of my hard earned profit from faucet but loss all my profit by trading of garbage shitcoins on ccex.io exchange. I manage to accumulate a lot of Bitcoin using my salary from work few years after my misfortune on shitcoins but this time I hold Bitcoin and just purchase some altcoins without touching my Bitcoin investment.
605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some rich person not interest about bitcoin for following reason on: November 15, 2023, 04:40:32 PM
A friend of mine is not interested in buying Bitcoin even after learning about it.
Because according to him Bitcoin is a small number of people who have a lot of Bitcoin. They can easily go down on the bitcoin market if they want to.
Example: Cz. Craig wright & Michel Sailor etc.

This is nonsense, there are tons of whale holders including institutional investors, exchange, VC and crazy rich person. I’m not sure what kind of nonsense he is talking but even on stock exchange has this kind of share holders that holds the majority of the stocks.

I believe the real reason why many rich people don’t want to invest on Bitcoin is because they are afraid on the volatility. They already have a decent source of income that makes them rich, entering a much riskier investment will surely turn them off unless they are risky type rich that wants more aside from their original investment.
606  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is it difficult for people to get capital easily? on: November 15, 2023, 04:33:17 PM
How did you get your capital to start that business you are doing today? Or do you experience some things like this from your relatives, because to get capital these days is not easy for me, and there are some people all over the world looking for way to get this capital to start a good business but is not easy for them. Can you share your experience on how you get your capital.

I find a job that suitable to my career and I excel on my work that’s why I get an early promotion that gives me higher salary. I change company often times to increase my salary since I go to my enemy company that offers me position with higher pay grade. I also do financial management on insurance companies as side hustle which I recruit most of my coworkers as client for life insurance that gives me huge profit.

I work smart and hard at the same time to get what I have right now. I’m so blessed that I don’t have problem with my family like yours but we are not rich either. I believe the secret is to aim for a higher pay grade salary by excelling to your job for a chance for promotion or better offer from other companies. Don’t stick to a single company that doesn’t value your work equivalently.
607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever Thought of Giving Back to the Community? on: November 15, 2023, 03:36:48 PM
Have you ever thought of giving back to the community if you ever had a successful gambling run? One of those punters on X, who usually wins large sums of money from betting, is giving out about 25 laptops to folks who cannot afford them, and he recently paid for someone's cybersecurity online course. Do you think this is something that you can do—give back to the community from your gambling runs?

If I will be having that kind of huge win then I guess I might do the same. But the thing on influencer was they are just doing this kind of thing for views and promotion for their own benefits in the end. They will somehow use this as promotion to spread their ref links since most of the people who will view his video or post will surely follow him later on.

The only influencer that I really like is Mr. Beast which his content is solely for helping people and tackling real life problem using his social media influence. The rest of the influencer especially gambling influencer is not that legit. Imho

But if I win really huge amount. I will donate part of it on charity.  Wink
608  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you work toward hodling bitcoin? on: November 14, 2023, 04:14:44 PM
If I understand correctly. You want to build a business with BTC, sell products/services and collect the BTC from it. If it's so, first of all not all businesses succeed. If you have got faith in btc, which appears you do, why not just hold onto btc, why make this unnecessary fuss of selling and collecting again?

I think his point here is how to maintain business and at the same time hold Bitcoin in long term. Not literally selling his Bitcoin for business but rather sustaining his Bitcoin holdings through his business profit. Imo he just use the article as an example which the person sell his Bitcoin at first then later on learn how to hold using the business profit converted to Bitcoin.

The main goal here is the long term accumulation of Bitcoin using the business profit as source of continuous cash flow for his Bitcoin investment.
609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gambling and Invest in gambling. on: November 14, 2023, 03:28:36 PM
How do I take advantages over the gambles while I am not gambling anymore?
I tend to invest in the gambling. How?
At my visits in the gambling grounds, I will be lending my funds to the losers who has run out of  funds and willing to bet more if they have more money.
I tends to make this a deal with interest charges with concrete agreement to be secured and I will be opened to also accepting collaterals.

I verily know that I will succeed more of the inexperienced and those gamblers who doesn't have gambling budgets including those who can't take control over their gambling emotions

This is very popular IRL casino since I know someone in our office doing this as side hustle during weekends when we are day-off. He has a lot of property now that he acquired through default loan for a very low amount. This is really profitable but guilt of letting people loose more is my biggest concern on this kind of business that’s why I just play instead of lending money o addicted gamblers.

Some online casino let you invest on their bankroll and do profit sharing on the profit. This kind of gambling investment is much safer for me even though the profit is small compared to lending on local gamblers.
610  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [ SCAM ALERT ] Blackjack.Fun is a cheap Scammer on: November 14, 2023, 02:44:08 PM
To be honest, I don’t see any scam accusation worthy on all the evidence that you present and it’s not even worthy to create a commotion just for free roll issue since the casino acknowledged all the bugs.

You admit that you found a glitch which means they have basis for an abuse. They have the right to exclude you on their promotion base on their own discretion. What I’m just confused right now is why they lock the ANN thread after you create a series of negative post towards them.

They are not cheap scammer but rather you are just angry about their action towards your account which you admit that you exploit a glitch on their newly developed game.
611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dangerous chasing losses on: November 14, 2023, 01:38:04 PM

Self control will let you to enjoy your winning amount, and if you also have that investors mindsets after winning huge amount of money, instead of bringing it back to casino or any types of gambling best to use it for investment, establish your own business using your winning money or invest that amount to any ideal investment that you have same interest with, from that point of view, chasing your loses might be by far and instead of risking more money you might be able to make some and enjoy.

What you said is correct but not all gamblers is gambling to gain capital for business. They choose to gamble because is the easiest way to gain money short term and to have fun at the same time. They will not resort to gamble if their main purpose is to have capital for business since they can start business right away using their funds from gambling if they really want that.

Most gamblers that win huge profit tends to gamble it all since they dedicate that money for gambling purposes including the profit. Personally, I have different funds for investments and consider all my gambling funds including profit to gambling and other form of entertainment.
612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you want to play on casinos without KYC requirements? on: November 14, 2023, 01:33:37 PM
I was thinking about this question over the weekend and I cannot seem to find legitimate reasons why people would want to play at casinos that do not require KYC verification.

1. KYC requirements reduce money laundering.

Does this really works? I mean how can this work properly, if a person is asked to pass KYC only after he wins and tries to withdraw his balance. I have never seen a casino sending funds back, because they were transferred from some kind of a "grey" wallet. I have never seen any casino refusing to accept gamblers funds because the origin of the funds is questionable.

The main purpose of KYC on AML policy is to track gamblers after they do the money laundering not before because casino doesn’t care about the source wallet of the funds. It’s for recording purposes so that they can present evidence once a certain person that doing laundering is being trace by the authorities.

This why some user really hate KYC because they will leave traces once the authorities track them down. AML policy is the main reason why the casino ask KYC since they shouldn’t really care if their player launder if they will not be liable to the law by being accessory to the crime.
613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ? on: November 14, 2023, 01:03:25 PM
What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ?  Where will this figure be if we consider worldwide users ? I think it will be somewhere between 10-20% ? Also, it is possible that most of gamblers are still not bitcoin investors ? I see  less chances of the later happening.

If we will consider futures trading as gambling for this discussion then I consider almost everyone here is a gambler except for those hardcore holder only which is very few in percentage.

Also, it is possible that most of gamblers are still not bitcoin investors ? I see  less chances of the later happening.

I doubt that most gambler is not Bitcoin investor since most of us here learn Bitcoin before we explore in different altcoins. Maybe not all use Bitcoin on gambling but that doesn’t mean they are not a Bitcoin holder.
614  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to detect two different prices on P2P trade on: November 13, 2023, 06:04:07 PM

How to detect the price difference on P2P trading
When you open a buyer order when selling your Bitcoin on a P2P trading, refresh the order to be sure that the price is the same thing as the one the buyer placed on the open market of the P2P trading before you enter the quantity of Bitcoin you want to sell or after you have entered the quantity of BTC you want to sell, do your math by calculating the worth of the quantity of BTC you want to sell in dollar to your local currency to be sure if the value you have in fiat from your calculation is the same fiat value on the P2P trade before you can click on sell.

Usually there’s a red warning on Binance about the fluctuations of prices between the seller price and the current market price. Also you have the option to cancel any trades in case you didn’t check the price when you place an order.

I thought this thread is about a market aggregator for all the P2P exchange out there that’s why I became interested yet you are just stating the obvious since the P2P price is visible the moment you go to P2P section of the exchange. It will be good someone will develop a site that list all the available order open on all the P2P exchange of CEX.
615  Economy / Speculation / Re: This bullish momentum - Breaking through the $35,000 mark on: November 13, 2023, 05:28:59 PM

It's better for us to enjoy the current Bitcoin price movement and remember to keep accumulating more Bitcoin. That is if you still want to use this time to collect Bitcoins. But if you feel you have had enough, you just have to wait for the time to sell Bitcoin and take the profits.

It can only be enough to accumulate bitcoin if you don't have money to buy more but for those who have money, it is time to keep DCA on because the bull this season is really expected to either hit the 6 digit area.

However, I won't advise taking loan to invest in btc If you don't have enough just invest as little as you can ride with the bull next year.

Buying near the current cycle peak is not a good idea even on DCA, much better to wait for a minor correction after the big green candle before adding more coins to your stash. This way you can guarantee more average price to the lowest possible buying price amount.

Margin is available in exchange which is more suitable to use than borrow money with high interest. Margin on the forum gives you the ability to increase your capital by just adding minimal risk depending on the amount you are borrowing.
616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin forging ahead Demonstrates Resilience in the Wake of FTX’s Downfall on: November 13, 2023, 03:19:12 PM

Despite this setback, there are optimistic indicators for Bitcoin (BTC) suggesting a robust performance in 2023. Notably, there is a promising outlook for BTC with the anticipation of a forthcoming halving event. Additionally, the initiation of the regulatory process for a spot Bitcoin Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) is on the horizon. These developments serve as potential catalysts for Bitcoin's sustained growth, hinting at better times ahead for the cryptocurrency in the coming year.

Correct, Bitcoin is slow recovering even before this ETF hype occur. It just intensified the pump to insane level by making traders excited while there’s halving next year.

Bitcoin has all the cards to make the price break the ATH since institutional investors that have an entry is still on the level of breakeven or minor profit for long years of waiting. I doubt that they will just sell-off after waiting too long but rather they might purchased more when they see more buying power from retail.

The Approval or ETF and Bitcoin Halving next year will surely send the Bitcoin price off the chart since everyone is looking forward on it,
617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: November 13, 2023, 01:05:01 PM
For somebody who is not completely in the know of DOTA2 and the insight of the professional teams involved but it seems to be a turnstyle with teams leaving and getting replaced more often than on the offseason of Esports.
I had even heard of Boom Esports in the league of DOTA2 play and this is surprising to hear of them disbanding and leaving the scene.

Yeah, There’s a lot of team already exit on Dota2 pro scene because it’s not profitable for them anymore since it’s very hard to get sponsorship if your team is always early exit or doesn’t win any tournament including minor tournaments.

Boom esports become a garbage team after their strong line-up before. New team appear and acquire those talented players leaving them no choice to accept mediocre players. I’m not watching frequently E-Sports in general but I watch Dota2 tournaments. I just notice that weaker team especially those who can’t afford acquiring talented roster usually just wasting there money on their player salary without getting in return since it’s very hard to win tournaments in Dota2 since the map is just balance unlike CS:GO which team switch side of the map with different role and advantage/disadvantage on terrain.
618  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: November 13, 2023, 12:56:03 PM
I don't have an opinion about the public sale, that's apparently happening with SHFL as well, because i don't have enough data on that, but i feel that's a little iffy, and i don't get why they would need to do this. If they indeed are selling them against crypto.

And it's not like everyone would be dumping at once. These 3 reasons are enough for many people to hodl or even buy more. Especially buyback and burn with fixed supply sounds juicy.

One utility of Shuffle token is profit sharing from the casino through distribution to token holders. The team also announced that the token will be listed on exchange which means they need money for liquidity pool to absorb airdrop tokens that will potentially sell or to have a trading volume.

It’s understandable if they do a public sale to cover for liquidity since they will share their profit to token holders. I believe the airdrop is part of rewarding loyal customers.
Either you misunderstood or i am missing some key information here. To my knowledge they aren't distributing any profits for tokens holders, but they are using profits to buy those tokens from the market and burn. Which is actually way better and way more legal method.

Buying tokens using the profit on an open market is equivalent to profit sharing since the price will pump due to the buy pressure cause by the buy back. This is much better than Staking that use the reserve token to reward holders while the circulating supply is flooded in the market due to the rewards.

And yeah, i do get the liquidity pool part. I just don't agree that raising money that way would be a good idea. Token sales clash with regulators all the time, because they are often marketed illegally.

Probably you didn’t know how utility token works. Security Token is the one that being target by regulators and not utility token. As long as they didn’t sell tokens to US token and other country that has strict law then they don’t have any problem to regulators. Don’t assume US SEC covers world wide. I assume you are referring to US SEC since they are the only one that is too strict to token sale. Cheesy
619  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need your contribution and opinion on: November 12, 2023, 05:38:30 PM
I have a little knowledge but I need a guide. Bought some cryptocurrency like XRP and Bitcoin. Currently people only talk about Bitcoin but the price is very high for me to afford investing in it. I don't know why I feel like it's the only cryptocurrency worth investing and I would love to try  but am still learning gradually about it.

You don’t need to purchase whole bitcoin to hold it. You can simply purchase few Satoshi and still benefit on its price growth in proportion to your holdings instead of buying shitcoins with low price but has a massive supply.

Bitcoin supply is limited while most of the shitcoins is still has a lot to be added on the circulating supply. You can suffer huge loss on shitcoins because they are more volatile due than Bitcoin so you should stick to Bitcoin since you are still a newbie. A 10% gain on Bitcoin is still the same 10% gain on altcoins with much cheaper price.
