yung trust na yes i can benefit but yung security kung until when ako makakakuha ng good earnings
dun ako hindi sure

603  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: October 25, 2017, 08:20:25 PM
Getting a job is not possible for everyone, not everyone has family or [friends] to help them and sometimes they will make the bad situations even worse them. If you've ever really needed money and were very desperate, than you probably know that people would let you starve to death rather than give you $5.

It's weird how people won't toss out just a few dollars to help someone in need, yet they'll spend $10000 or more on their pet that has an average life span of under 5 years.

But then again, if you give the person in need money, they'll keep coming back for it. It's a real crap shoot

its sad that people like these exist ,they dont have respect to others hard work
they only want easy money ,too much greediness

611  Economy / Speculation / Re: $6000 comming through on: October 13, 2017, 02:51:49 PM
Major resistances have been blown like a tower of cards. This is only the beginning. Expect $7000 short thereafter. We may get to $10000 this year if the segwit2x corporate takeover is beaten quick enough. Im hoping everyone with power in bitcoin crushes the corporations involved in the hardfork.

If we get past segwit2x, it will be smooth sailing. For now let's enjoy the ride.

wow i think everybody is monitoring bitcoin price by the minute
the price hike enormously it already hit the $6000
looking forward to hit the $7000 price
or is it possible to hit $10000 by the end of the year?
612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vocabulary on: October 13, 2017, 10:02:16 AM
I am actually getting a grip on some of the terms used here. So far here are the terms I am familiar with:
1. Volatile - swinging of prices in extreme ends or prices suddenly change?
2. Fiat - usually refers to paper money
3. Altcoins - coins aside from bitcoin

Can you share some of the terms you know? It would be a very big help to widen each others bitcoin vocabulary.
Thank you very much!

heres some

Shitcoin - coins with broken blockchain
 Shills - who promotes shitcoins
Noobs - a seasoned crypto trader
 PoS- proof of stake
 PnD (Pump and Dump)
FOMO - Fear Of Missing Out
FUD - Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt
Whale - big player in trading
HODL - hold on to dear life , simply means dont sell
613  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Kaya Pa Bang Kumita Ng Maganda Sa Pinas? on: October 13, 2017, 08:06:26 AM

614  Economy / Economics / Re: In event of your death on: October 13, 2017, 06:50:55 AM
I am wondering what provisions have you all made in case you die before cashing out your bitcoins? I am single, live alone and both my parents are deceased. My siblings dont care about any of this, however I would like my nieces and nephews to get some of my profits but they are still very young right now. I dont trust lawyers to give them my private keys. I am wondering, what can I do?

are you sick ? or your life is indanger ? if this is the case you have no choice if your nephews and nieces are too young to understand what you do ,you have to entrust it to people you think you can trust
but if you are just thinking about this things and still have time to even teach your nephews or nieces about this well i think that would be more okay to you knowing that they they would be able to claim your legacy someday
615  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Paano kung ang bitcoin ay bumaba ? Magpapatuloy Kapa rin ba ? on: October 13, 2017, 06:19:08 AM

618  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: October 07, 2017, 03:21:24 AM
Is it enough to be smart with just nothing to lean on and go on with your life? Because i feel that there are a lot of people who doesn't know how to handle their money with regards to see in the future. Is it enough to be smart and not be strategical or somewhat a person who has a lot of experience. Who would you choose?

For me it is required to be a master of both things like of course you can not have experience if you are not going to try and some people would think it's a waste of their time if they are doing what they know already like repeating their work over and over again. So it should be in a balance.

how do you define smart?
to me if you are a strategic person you are smart
you cannot be strategic and not smart
but being smart and strategic has its own specialty
people know this and some dont its just the way it is ,
619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Value investment in crypto on: October 07, 2017, 03:11:43 AM
There is a famous book by Benjamin Graham called "Intelligent Investor". It describes an investment philosophy based on underlying value of security. It brings up two basic points:

1. If you don't have a lot of time to spend on investment, just buy a mix of stock and bond indices and hold them forever.
2. If you do have a lot of time, look for undervalued assets. He also proposes some criteria for deciding if a stock is undervalued, e.g. a company's market cap is lower than the value of assets it owns, it's undervalued.

Does value thinking exist in cryptocurrency? Speculation aside, crypto should be driven by the same basic forces as fiat. People would want a crypto token if they want something that can be purchased with the token. Do crypto investors look for underlying value of a token? And if they do, do they look for undervalued assets? Is it even possible in the crypto world?

i do believe that undervalued coins do exist in crypto and some are worth to trade or hold
but always back up your trades with details about this coins to lower the risk
620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins on: October 07, 2017, 03:08:02 AM
From what I have seen for the past 4 years, trading in Bitcoin (and the altcoins) is just like gambling. A select few may profit out of it, but the vast majority are going to lose their investment capital. I have stayed out of trading ever since I joined this forum. And I am doing just fine.  Grin
It is not like gambling don't mention gambling because gambling is a sin in many religions so i would like to say that trading in bitcoin is depended on luck that when bitcoin goes pump when goes down but in right ways it always goes up.

Oops you are taking it as too serious. There are many people in the world involves in gambling and many wrong activities. Some people compare it with gambling due they are facing bump and dump in the same time and facing lose right. That is the case. If you are skilled trader you will utilize both the time for your favour.
Yes, you are very much right. But I think if someone is not doing well in trading even if he is a good trader, then there is no point of doing trade and losing your Bitcoins. In fact, taking a break for some time is a very good option.

Holding is a very good option as well and you can earn a good amount of money by even holding you Bitcoins.

traders are switching fromg being a day traders to being a long term trader by choice not because they are trapped with their trades ,there are lots of good coins coming out that are worth holding for quite a long time
