The ICC is not going to care as long as they get these billions of USD in revenue from media rights auction. Pakistan is not a big market for them, and therefore they are not going to intervene in this issue. I would still say that the PCB got a good deal. All the other Asian boards (except Nepal) wanted Asia Cup to be completely shifted to another country, but in the end Pakistan got a handful of matches at home and a hybrid model. This will help the PCB to recover some revenue from the Asia Cup. And in this case, I don't think that Rameez would have got a better deal.

Rameez Raja had a clear stance in his last days that if India not willing to play in Pakistan then we wont play in India. Honestly everyone in Pakistan was expecting such lose stance from Sethi and present government. If Imran Khan was the PM, we would have seen very different Pakistani response.
Sethi is not a good advocate of Pakistan rather he has his own interests and insane mindset. Now the latest news is Sethi has resigned as PCB Chairman and now there will be new PCB chairmen from Zaka Ashraf and Mustafa Ramday. Zaka Ashraf is favourite as he hails from PPP who is alliance in current government.

@WatChe definitely Rameez would have gotten a better deal as he was a hard negotiator and probably the reason why he was immediately removed because under him PCB wouldn’t have budged for sure. Furthermore the current deal is pretty raw and definitely doesn’t do any justice to Pakistan and the only payback they can get is by skipping the World Cup and making ICC look foolish.
602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: June 20, 2023, 01:43:40 AM
Barcelona play well but not on the same level with the other teams that have been identified as teams that can win the champions league next season . They have a good team that has just been rebuilt, but they are not yet as strong as the Barcelona of before. If Barcelona is not in a tough group and can somehow avoid the very tough teams known for eliminating big teams, they can go far in the competition next season. But if they find themselves in a tough group, they will be eliminated. They are a strong team, but there are stronger teams currently.
It would have been much better if you had mentioned the teams that have been identified to win the champions league next season because the teams I have in mind to win the champions league won't be the same as yours. Many of us could predict that Manchester City tends to win the UEFA title again while many would disagree with that assumption.

What am trying to point out is that teams that qualify for the champions league are tough in their various leagues. They will come prepared with the new players they have signed into their teams that will boost their confidence in winning any of their champions league matches.

The fate of Barcelona in the champions league groups can be defined based on their previous season's performance because we're yet to know what they are building behind our backs this upcoming season. Whether they are to be fully prepared to face off any tough team without fear or not

@JoyMarsha Barcelona are definitely going to do well in the La Liga but in the champions league I doubt that they’ll fare well because they lack the depth and quality of player’s to win the champions league. Furthermore to compete in the champions league they need to spend lots of money on new player’s but as we know with their financial difficulties it won’t happen hence I feel that they’ll crash out of the champions league at a pretty early stage.

Yes you are right, monthly and weekly bonuses have no effect on KYC except for several events and contests are mostly held in the stake forum
I think you are actually wrong.
KYC Level has some extra bonus you can get maybe around 15-20% for the bonus, depending on the KYC level you are applying.
KYC verification has indeed an impact on the bonus amount. Stake team has mentioned it several times in their telegram channel that a user will receive 15% to 20% extra amount for completing different levels of KYC verification. Stake team has sent an email today with the offer of extra bonuses for completing level two KYC verification. @ryzaadit, have you received this email from Stake today?

AFAIK, they applied new conditions a few months ago and it didn't last more than 3 months. What is the purpose to stimulate other users who didn't pass the KYC level to verify their Stake account?
I doubt it is a permanent increase in bonuses for new verified users, maybe for a few weeks it sounds more realistic.

@seleme maybe they want to encourage user’s to do KYC as regulations are changing constantly and who knows it may suddenly become mandatory to do KYC in coming year’s hence they’re trying to tackle this problem at the earliest. Furthermore getting user’s to do KYC isn’t easy, many prefer quitting rather then complete the process hence I can understand why this incentive didn’t really work out for them.

45 satoshis again. Sad

Yea I noticed this rapid reflection, faster then normal right.  It hit the wall in graph terms anyhow, mark out the regular lows and regular highs (each week or timeframe) and both have been in some descent.  Lots of sideways but couple of months it has a negative ongoing trend to BTC price action progression.  We hit bottom in the negative sentiment is one way to describe it or in market orders hence the bounce.  Sadly its a game where we continue to bounce off the high and low to this price channel and we can repeat downwards in a bit I presume.
Can never tell what happens but not entirely unpredictable imo, we're still looping anyhow.  Next low presuming a repeat is about 24.5k to 24k in forthcoming week.   A challenge upwards to break trend would be nice because also I think the ground is harder on every low, meaning the sell have less worth to speculators perhaps or it can just mean worse news but I dont know thats especially true imo.

@STT when it comes to Bitcoin prices there’s no such thing as normal even if everything seems calm it’s only a matter of time before the prices fluctuates. Furthermore the only way to get maximum Satoshis is using RP well either via WoF or going for maximum % bonus but then one needs to claim maximum times and the highest I was able to claim was 12 times back when we used to get 300 - 400 satoshis in one hour.

After playing there for 2 years, deposited and withdrawn thousands. I got KYC triggered for a 50$ withdrawal. Something is wrong, and I would be careful

Are you serious? it's a bit strange that only with $50 withdrawal then they ask for KYC this is a new case here usually KYC is only for withdrawal  $1000 or more
Are you sure you don't have any other problems? sometimes they detect something so KYC is required like last year the admin detected several users using the same address even though the address was sent from a spam address on the Tron network, just ask the admin what the reason is.

@zuzie it’s definitely not for a $50 withdrawal but your recent playing pattern or your IP address that’s what probably triggered this KYC. Furthermore the admin is very understanding so you should drop him a message here and ask him why it got triggered and is there any way to continue playing without doing KYC and if there isn’t then you should consider doing KYC as this site is legit and has continue to grow a lot since it was started.

I’m really enjoying Netherlands vs Croatia, such a competitive game. I knew it would be, two really good teams. Currently sitting on 61 minutes, this game could go all the way to extra time and maybe penalties. It could be a long night. I know we have some Dutch and Croatian guys in the community here, hope you’re not too stressed out watching this may the best team win Smiley
I couldn't believe when I saw prematch odds on Croatia, this was u pure gift in my opinion even with betting on double chance X2.
It's never going to be easy for any team to beat them with Modric and other top class players, and Spain is not going to have an easy job in few days against them.
Another one maybe?

https://sportsbet.io/sports/soccer/international/uefa-nations-league/matches
As we know, Spain advanced to the final match after defeating Italy with a score of 2-1 in the semifinals. La Furia Roja's victory was dramatic because it was determined in the final minutes, I was wondering why Croatia's odds were so much higher than Spain, was Spain favored by the bookies and many people bet there even though we know that Croatia is much better than Spain.

I might try to bet on Croatia too because the Odds, which almost touch 4, are quite profitable if you win with a narrow score, that's why I'm not sure that Spain can beat Modric's Croatia and friends, I also predict Croatia will win with a score of 2 - 1 or 1 - 0

@piebeyb I wasn’t surprised that Croatia won because as I had predicted they would be keen to win it for Modric and thus it won’t surprise me again if they win against Spain too. Furthermore these odds are pretty good and definitely one should consider wagering on Croatia because while Spain is good they’re no where as good as Croatia is.
607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 17, 2023, 09:30:14 AM
There is another alternative striker for Manchester United to sign this summer. He is Goncalo Ramos and you know how skillful striker he is now. I really liked his finishing skills this season and he scored so many goals. But he is quite beneficial when it comes to help his teammates score as well by making many assists. However there is a thing that might cause the Red Devils to think multiple times before making an offer.

This thing is the amount of money Benfica demand from them. It is actually a rumour but it says they want around 90 million euros to sell him. This is a really huge amount for him while his market value is 50 million euros. They simply don't want to sell him that easy. I think the Red Devils should evaluate all the reasonable alternatives first and then decide what to do.
Manchester United seems having trouble to gets the players they want because lately they probably will withdraw to gets Kane because Tottenham aren't willing to negotiate about the price tag and actually Manchester United has other target Atalanta player Rasmus Hojlund but Atalanta only want 85 millions for this player and Manchester United feel this price is too expensive for them and indeed Goncalo Ramos could be good alternative for Manchester United even their player Bruno Fernandes said Goncalo Ramos could be good player and suitable as Manchester United centre striker

The latest news from Goncalo Ramos is Benfica will open negotiate with other teams who want him and they will not hold the player if there is a club who want him this summer but although Goncalo market value is only 50 millions but Benfica want not less than 80 millions but apparently Ten Hag still doubt whether he will officially bid for Goncalo or he will looking for another players instead of Goncalo

Yeah I have also heard about Rasmus Hojlund rumour. But I don't know if he is really the needed kind of striker now. He can surely be a promising striker but the number of goals he scored this season wasn't very impressive. It must be 16 goals in 42 games in all tournaments. He is only 20 years old of course but I see that as a risk for Manchester United if they want to trust him in every competition in the attacking line.

Instead I would have looked for Vlahovic for example. He has already proven his skills about finishing as he has scored so many goals for Fiorentina and Juventus so far. He is 23 years old as well and he might even cost less than Hojlund or around that amount. I would have decided to sign Vlahovic in this situation.

@Velvet78 until this saga of who’ll own the club ends no player is guaranteed to come and if this doesn’t get sorted soon then the club’s will quote higher prices to Manchester United and if that happens then it could derail their new season. Furthermore Manchester United need to sell before they can buy and I wonder how many player’s are they offloading because they need urgent replacements in many positions.
608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 17, 2023, 03:39:12 AM
I think Rudi garcia is familiar with the atmosphere of Serie A because he has coached Rome before. I think a big challenge will come to him next season because Napoli's status is the reigning champion. With his coaching style, I'm sure he will be quickly understood by Napoli players. Well, one support for him is to keep his core players from leaving for other clubs in this season's transfer window, such as Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia.
Next season Napoli will be one of the teams that is highly reckoned with in Serie A after their good performances this season. Even next season Napoli will be quite busy with a busy schedule and I think Rudi garcia should understand this from now on where he has to buy better players to support himself in helping Napoli retain the title next season.
Oh yes, after such a successful last season, Napoli will need to try hard to repeat this success again. I'm not sure that even Luciano Spalletti, who can be called the father of this great success, could have done it, and what can we say about Rudy Garcia. Well, I wish him success, but I doubt it very much.
We wish success for Napoli again for sure but I doubts they could do what they did this year. I assume losing their best players in a transfer soon will destabilise the team. I think Inter will be very annoying for them next season

@snipe if they sell their big star player’s then they’ll definitely not win the league title again and Juventus too will be come back for the league title hence unless Napoli reinvests heavily in the current transfer window I too doubt that we’ll see them win the league title again. Furthermore for me one of these three team’s will win it next season both Milan clubs, Juventus and as a surprise candidate I would pick Roma.
609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 16, 2023, 12:46:44 PM
Chasing Manchester United premier league win will be very difficult or impossible to achieve, atleast in this our time. 6 English Premier League trophies means 6 seasons and looking at it, the highest Manchester City can go before being dethroned as the indisputable champions of England is 1 or 2 seasons. If you look very well, Newcastle is just building and Manchester United is gradually coming back to form and Liverpool is there to always contest. There will be a time the reign of Manchester City will also come to an end.

I think it is not that much difficult given how Guardiola has managed City ever since he took over as manager. He has made then PL champions 5 times out of 7 seasons and that really shows the kind of spectacular record Guardiola hold rights now. I think in 8-9 seasons he can make them equal to United if things goes like this. City are in control in whichever way you see and despite United and Newcastle improving, I don't see them getting dominant the way City are right now. I would say its very much achievable if Guardiola says for long term.

@Avirunes there’s a rumour which says that Pep will depart in 2025 and I’ll be super glad when he does because until he’s at City it’s very difficult to stop them from winning the Premier League. Furthermore I believe in the work Ten Hag is doing but if he won’t be backed by the new owner then it’ll all go to waste because Manchester United need to spend big this season literally in all the departments (goal keeper, striker etc).
610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 16, 2023, 09:15:38 AM
for me it's not too bad Tuchel even though he only trained Bayern Munich last season even though he failed in the champions league but at least he was able to dominate in the bundesliga and there is a little confidence in the following season maybe Tuchel will be more enthusiastic about bringing Bayern Munich to be able to get the best position in the champions league at least until final round.
Bayern Munich's dominance was maintained in the final minutes of the season because actually Bayern Munich almost broke their dominance if Borusiaa Dortmund did not fail to win the last game against Mainz. So there are actually a lot of things that need to be fixed if they still want to continue their dominance in the next season. Bayern Munich is rumored to be bringing in a defender from Napoli. I think that's important because one of their weaknesses is defense, so they have lost several times to teams that are not considered capable of beating them, and it looks like Bayern Munich are serious about improving their team because they also made changes to the CEO and also sporting director, next season will certainly be different.
Even though Borussia Dortmund failure to defeat Mainz in their most recent match nearly ended Bayern Munich hegemony it serves as a reminder of the necessity of fixing some problems if they want to continue to hold sway in the upcoming campaign. Bayern rumoured acquisition of a defender from Napoli shows that they are aware of their defensive flaws which have resulted in surprising losses to teams that were believed to be weaker. Bayern Munich shows their dedication to development by concentrating on improving their defensive line. Additionally the modifications made to the CEO and sporting director jobs point to a proactive strategy for reviving the team. Bayern Munich hopes to make a noteworthy improvement in their play in the upcoming season with these changes and a fresh emphasis on strengthening their defence.

@Strongkored I’m not sure what were people really expecting from Tuchel because his appointment was a surprise for all and naturally the player’s would take time to understand his principles.

Furthermore if he’s backed well and yet fails to perform then he can definitely be judged but normally I believe that a coach should be given at least two full seasons to revitalise the squad however I’m not sure that Bayern will allow him so much time hence he’ll have to start working his magic asap or soon he’ll face the sack.
611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 16, 2023, 03:45:33 AM

Jude Bellingham will officially wear one of the iconic jersey numbers at Real Madrid and the jersey number 5 was once worn by one of Real Madrid's legendary players, Zinedine Zidane. It seems that Bellingham really wants this jersey number and he has also thanked Jesus Vallejo for agreeing to give him the jersey number 5. Bellingham doesn't want the number 22 shirt currently worn by Rudiger because he really wants to wear a new number from now on and it goes to number 5 at Real Madrid.

On the other hand, the reason for choosing number 5 is because Bellingham was very inspired by Zidane and it's only natural that if we pay close attention to Bellingham's style of play it is very similar to Zidane's. It looks like this will be a good start for Bellingham with Real Madrid and he can't wait to play alongside Modric and also Kroos in midfield.

It looks like maybe Jude Bellingham won't have as much time playing alongside Modric and Toni Kroos. Because I think Jude Bellingham will definitely be a replacement for Modric and Kroos in the Real Madrid midfield and in that way, it looks like Real Madrid will start playing young players more often and resting older players like Modric and Kroos. But regarding the same jersey number as Zidane, for me it doesn't really matter, because whatever jersey number Jude Bellingham wears, it won't make him unlucky or lucky.
It's true that Bellingham won't have long enough to be able to play with Modric and Kroos, but during an interview yesterday he said that he can't wait to be able to play with the two veterans because he understands very well the experience he will get on the same field with both of them very important for his future.

Maybe when Bellingham can play with Modric and Kroos for only one season and Ancelotti will certainly rotate so that all of his players run smoothly. Bellingham says he doesn't need to be a Zidane, he just needs to be himself and he will try to keep winning with Real Madrid.

@rendravolt while I’m happy for him as he’s secured his transfer to one of the biggest club in the world I sincerely hope that he’s not left on the bench and he’s continuously playing as it’s important for his development that he plays a lot. Furthermore the Zidane comparison are too soon because he’s coming to a new league and he’ll make mistakes and learn from them hence I feel that all Real Madrid fan’s should give him time to settle before he starts to show off his skills.

When it comes to who can be a solid rival to Verstappen in the future I also see Hamilton first. It is all about his having a fast car and that's it. I'm pretty confident about watching another season with huge rivalry between these two drivers just as there was in the 2021 season. I would like to see Leclerc also in this rivalry but not only Ferrari are terrible with strategies but also he started to make simple mistakes often recently.

@emrecemsan if Hamilton can move to Ferrari then he’ll definitely be able to challenge Verstappen but this move isn’t official and it’s quiet possible that it may not take place at all. Furthermore Leclerc really needs to introspect as to what went wrong and work hard if he’s to win the title for Ferrari but I’m starting to wonder will Ferrari stick by him or he’ll be asked to leave as his performances haven’t really improved.
613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL on: June 15, 2023, 10:09:38 AM
The IPL was not great preparation, ground for the Indian team when they went to play the WTC final. Of course, India was not going to do well in that match. They prepared themselves for the ideal. They also had to give their hundred percent to the IPL. The players just could not make the transition well enough. A lot of people are talking about the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. But I have to say India failed when it comes to individual performances as well.

Honestly, I don’t think a lot of people care about this too much. Well, of course, it was the WTC final. So a certain amount of people are always going to care. Smiley

In the end, it comes down to priorities. For the players, the vast majority of their annual earnings come from the IPL, so it is a higher priority for them. And I have a feeling that the Indian team has now given up on the idea of winning an ICC championship. The last time they did so was in 2013, and that was when Mahendra Singh Dhoni was captaining the Indian team. Under Kohli and Rohit, they simply don't have the capability to win any of the ICC tournaments. And they don't even try to win any tournaments nowadays. The seriousness is not there.

@Sithara007 I totally agree with you and I felt that BCCI could have planned better and could have asked th player’s to prepare for this final but surprisingly there was no such directive from them and in the end team India lost another final. Lastly team India needs a new young dynamic captain who’s keen to play for the nation first and unless they get such a leader I doubt that they’ll win an ICC tournament anytime soon.
614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 15, 2023, 03:49:40 AM
It is actually really hard to say that any other team is going to qualify instead of West Indies and Sri Lanka. I mean right now the situation in Sri Lanka and the West Indies is not very good. But the others which they are competing against are far worse, to be honest.
So I don’t see any other team actually beating either of these two, Sri Lanka or West Indies in this race. And a good performance from Zimbabwe is expected. After all, they are getting a good amount of money from the ICC every year. They really should be showing some improvement. Otherwise, there are other teams that can use that money.
Well.. I agree. Performance depends a lot on the fund allocation from the ICC. Zimbabwe receives around $12 million per year from the ICC. Sri Lanka and West Indies receive $16.5 million per year. For teams such as Nepal (who receive $200,000 per year), it will be an uphill battle to compete against such teams. There are 4 test nations participating in this tournament - Sri Lanka, West Indies, Ireland and Zimbabwe. There is a 99.99% chance that the two teams that qualify for the 2023 ODI World Cup will come from this sub-set.
Recently we've seen more matches go against the favourites. So, we can't be sure of the performance from the four. I expect Nepal, Netherlands to give good competence. Even the situation could arise same as that we saw in the IPL qualifier. Almost every team were with same point and the thrill of entering the qualifier continued till the last match.

Sithara007, Well, I couldn't agree more. This is certainly going to be from these four countries. And if we are being a little more precise I think we have to say that Sri Lanka and West Indies are going to be the ones. I am a little doubtful about them though. The performance that they have shown are not very convincing, to be honest.

Vaskiy, Of course, we cannot be sure about anything. It is actually hard to say since Sri Lanka and West Indies have not been very consistent. So obviously it is not 100% sure if they are actually going to be the teams to go ahead. But the expectation is obviously there from them.

@fuguebtc I’m not entirely confident about Srilanka and West Indies qualifying because both these team’s have disappointed a lot in recent year’s with their overall performances hence I won’t be surprised if they get knocked out. Furthermore I’m not expecting anything from the Zimbabwean player’s too but from Nepal I’m expecting a lot as they have been doing pretty well for themselves.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: June 14, 2023, 01:01:29 PM
Man, the transfer market is not over anything can happen on the last day we still remember when Ronaldo surprisingly moved to AL Nassr
So they can do it this season let's just wait for the announcement, I believe money is not the main problem because we know who's behind this club
what is clear is that old players will be the target of Saudi clubs at least for players over 30 years old.

Th amount of money being splashed by these Arabs doesn't make any sense. I understand that Lionel Messi is one of the best in the world. But an offer of $1.2 billion for two years sounds illogical for me. When they are spending so much money, ROI is not a concern for them. In all probability they are not going to earn even half of that amount from SPL. The real aim is to improve the reputation of the country, so that they stand a chance to win the bid to host FIFA World Cup in 2030. And I have to say that Saudi Arabia is moving in the right direction as of now.

This is not a new rumour, we already know their ambitions and goals obviously they want to get feedback from the other side not just football
Anyway, in the next few years they will continue to prepare surprises in every season one of them is an attempt to bring Messi to the Saudi League
maybe this year they failed but who knows next year right? I'm sure this season there are still other surprises that we are waiting for.

@zuzie their intent is very clear that they want to make SPL even bigger then the Premier League and the La Liga hence I believe that they’ll keep acquiring young and old stars from these two leagues primarily. Furthermore Messi isn’t coming but I won’t be surprised if several young star’s ditch their clubs and move to SPL because they can always return back in a year or two but they won’t get this kind of money elsewhere.
616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 14, 2023, 10:15:28 AM
Since the project now failed in a way it could indeed have consequences in the long run. The players that joined PSG in recent years thought that they will become a part of a project that will dominate the European soccer for many years and frequently win the Champions League with Mbappe, Neymar and Messi, but quite the opposite was the case. When PSG now reaches out to players the only enticement they have in their repertoire now is money. It will all be about the money. There is no Messi anymore and soon there will be no Mbappe. When players now go there it is not because they are playing with the best players in the world, but because they get paid more at PSG than elsewhere.

Football is changing, PSG is not the only club where they can pay more, and you are right now it is clear that the team is going through a stage when players are disillusioned with the club and are trying to find another place where they can realize their goals. Perhaps in the off-season, PSG will once again bring together star players, but they have done it so many times and now it's all over again, it doesn't look like it can bring them the desired result.
In fact, not only high fees are a priority for players to be able to join the club, but the management and road map are also other reasons that are also considered by the players. I certainly don't doubt the financial side of PSG, they are one of the richest teams in the world, but I see that there is another side that makes PSG's achievements look stagnant.

I see that the management side of PSG must be completely overhauled because they are not able to work optimally. They should be able to learn from Manchester City, who built their squad and targets very neatly. That is, when PSG were able to bring in Messi and collaborate with Mbappe and Neymar but they were not supported by a coach who had equal experience, PSG management should not have Galtier as a coach to handle them. I think the result of the lack of clarity in managing the team has made players uncomfortable living in Paris and reluctant to extend their contracts. So I really hope that the owners of PSG will evaluate all of their management so that Les Parisens can realize their dream in the Champions League.

I have a very different opinion for what’s to come from PSG this season because once they lose Mbappe for good I believe that they’ll focus on bringing young French player’s and start developing them and then occasionally buy a star player to balance the squad. Furthermore I feel that PSG won’t splash the money this season as I’m sure that they have realised their mistake that spending big money doesn’t always guarantee success.
617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 14, 2023, 07:45:45 AM
Like everyone else I would say that PCB has taken a good decision if their cricket board had not accepted it would have a bad impact on their cricket.Hopefully, if everything goes well, we will see a beautiful Asia Cup. And thanks to ICC for finding a solution to this problem.
There is champions trophy coming up in 2024 and Pakistan has got its hosting rights. There are unconfirmed news that India will not visit Pakistan to play that ICC tournament and that's the primary reason it will be relocated to some other country. So BCCI was not comfortable in playing in Pakistan no matter whether its ACC event or ICC but willing to host Pakistan in India. Its a win win situation for BCCI and total loss for PCB.

I am sure that the BCCI is going to cause the same issue again at that time. I wonder if it is possible to be fixed beforehand. I also don’t know how the situation in Pakistan is going to be at the time. I hope it is going to be fixed and the situation in Pakistan is also going to be stable by 2024. I also understand why the BCCI does not want the Indian players to go play in Pakistan. But at the same time, Pakistan does have the hosting rights. Another issue is going to be created in my opinion.

@crunch I believe that BCCI will once again pass the opportunity to play in Pakistan and I won’t be surprised if ICC shifts the venue again to satisfy BCCI. Furthermore even if BCCI is asked to pay a fine I’m pretty sure that they’ll happily pay it but it’ll be a big loss for PCB as they could have earned handsome revenues if team India came and played out there.

Looks like Rohit might get replaced as the test captain in the near future based on information from various sources. Dravid might also get sacked since he hasn't really helped the team achieve much so far.

If Rohit does get replaced, I hope Ashwin gets a shot or Kohli should return since these two have great leadership qualities.
It was clear from the start that Rohit was a captain for a limited time. In T-20 Hardik already took charge, In ODI Rohit will remain the Captain, at least till WC and for a time being in the Tests too. All these guys are 34+ so no one would be captain for a long period of time and I believe it's safe to say Ashwin will never get a captaincy. Need a younger guy in a captaincy role for sure.

Dravid contract is about to finish after ODI WC so there won't be any sacking.

@JSRAW I too don’t expect Ashwin to become the captain because in two year’s down the line even his spot won’t be secured hence they need a young captain and thus I wonder will they give Pant the responsibility when he’s back? Furthermore Dravid kinda disappointed me because of his past work I thought that he would implement new ideas but at this stage I don’t think his contract will be extended which makes me wonder will Shastri make a comeback?

I also think it's a bit too early to start talking about it, also because the transfer market has to take place and some nations could place additional teams on the list.
For sure the winner take always the spot for the next year... let's see how it proceed but anyway it's always "a long battle" up to the finale...

yes, perhaps I opened it well in advance, I admit it
but this year it was a very fun Champions League
as was the championship, so many twists and turns and not the usual stuff that the same obvious teams win

really this season has been very exciting, I have seen new faces winning and this is the top

@babo even though it’s early I’m glad that we’re having an active discussion on it as I’m missing CL a lot and after what we saw this season I feel that in the upcoming season we will see another team win it and most likely it’ll be Real Madrid. Lastly the reason I say that they’ll win is because *Mbappe is most likely joining them and with him in the team they’ll become really powerful hence I feel that they’ll win it (*his refusal to extend his contract hints this possibility).

The Netherlands - Croatia will be a match that I think is about 50-50, but Croatia is missing a strong Croatian defender who managed to play a great World Cup in Qatar.

Unfortunately, Croatia will have to play without Josko Gvardiol, who failed to heal the injury despite all efforts. His place will be filled by Martin Erlic, who at this point seems to be the only logical choice.

This is definitely bad news for Croatia because the defense will lose perhaps its most important player with the absence of Gvardiol.

I just heard, it's bad news for the Croatian team. Gvardiol is a great player, and even Man. City will probably sign him.
He has already played more important matches and is more used to this type of match than Erlić

On the Netherlands side, it seems that Matthijs de Ligt will not play and the reason is the same: injury. I think they called Daley Blind in his place, but I don't know if he will be the starter.

But the bookmaker odds remain the same, 2.02 for Netherlands and 3.70 for Croatia
Approximately 47% odds for Netherlands, 27% draw and 26% for Croatia

I'm still betting on Croatia anyway, and I think this match has good chances of extra time  Cheesy

I agree, Croatia lost a very important player in defense, but the Netherlands also lost an important player.
At the last 2 world cups, Croatia was very good and won 2 medals, silver and bronze, and now Croatian players announce that they want to finally win a trophy and get a gold medal.
There is certainly a chance for that, but it will be very difficult. The problem is that another key player of Croatia, Brozović, will come to this tournament very tired after the Champions League final.
I think that this tournament will be very even and uncertain and that all 4 national teams have a chance to win the trophy. Croatia already traditionally wins after extra time and penalties, so I predict the same outcome after the match with the Netherlands.

@Daniel91 I too have a very strong gut feeling which says that Croatia will win because the player’s will be extra motivated to win it for Luka and bid him a proper goodbye. Furthermore Netherland is no longer coached by Van Gaal and I believe that the player’s will miss his charismatic approach plus I don’t think that Roland can inspire these player’s like Van Gaal used to do hence I’m backing Croatia for a victory.
