601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you invest 60 BTC? on: October 30, 2019, 01:51:03 PM
Suppose you earned 60BTC by working hard for 5 years and one day you decide now you don't want to work then what would you do with that amount?
How would you invest that amount? What will you do? Hold it dreaming the price will rise? Sell it and invest the fiat? or start a business? or retire? Any ideas?  Tongue
Well that is a big amount actually and I have a of things I can do with it and the best option is to start a business. I prefer to start a business so that my income is guaranteed when the time I leave from work. Hold is my second option, I knew that Bitcoin will be something more in future and possibility of getting a high return.
602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favorite way to receive money as a gift? Cash or digital.. on: October 30, 2019, 03:48:38 AM
Well it depends on the digital currency, if Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies would the gift then I would rather have it over cash. I prefer crypto because I can put in investment to produce a profit. However, cash is not bad as well since I can use it to procure crypto.
603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: October 30, 2019, 03:20:38 AM
Learn a decent profession, make good money with it, and gamble at your leisure, when it suits you, and maybe, even knowing little about a game, you will win big one day, because luck is the main factor in gambling, not your knowledge.
Well, I think not all forms of gamblings are based on luck. There are few gambling sites based on skills or let say 50-50 percentage luck and skills. I think poker, I won't consider this that only based on luck. Yes, gambling is a kind of profession there are gamblers who are the habit is always to gamble even they had a family to feed but still, they can provide. I don't know if this kind of profession will long last or it will make your life become miserable.
Agreed. Not all games are based on luck there are still who needs a skills and strategy. Poker is the game that could classify as not entirely based on luck and I knew that there are people who used to earn profit through out of it and they can classify as professional gamblers.
604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's worse: cigar addiction or gambling addiction on: October 29, 2019, 03:46:38 PM
For me cigar addiction is far more better than gambling addiction.
In cigar you are the only one who is going to suffer if you wouldn't let your kids or family inhale the smoke or be a second hand smoker.
But in gambling the stress and negativity would affect your emotion and how you communicate and it could destroy your family.
Actually, both of them could be harmful to your family in any way. First, gambling could ruin families in the way that you could engulf by your emotions and your behavior towards your family might change. Cigarette addiction, it's true that your health is the only will be affected but in fact if you got any medical issue upon using cigar your family will suffer medical expenses. But if I will choose, I would rather have a gambling addiction since I could still entertain myself in playing and there's a chance for me to win.
605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell bounty token at a loss? on: October 29, 2019, 02:36:25 PM
If you have free Bounty tokens, would you sell at a loss? It can have advantages or disadvantages to sell at a loss: to avoid more loss but also to realises losses.

Personally I would wait for a better overall crypto market and sell later, because it's a bear market right now. If price rises again you can make a better profit and get more money back per coin if you wait and sell later. Market recovery will be positive to many good projects.

What's your strategy to make most profits now?

Well, I have a altcoins that are stored in my wallet and personally I don't have any intention of selling it right now, yeah they are cheap right now but we can't remove the fact that they have a possibility to pump as uptrend comes. I would rather to wait than just sell it at a loss. Actually, it wasn't a loss because if you a bounty hunter you could get those coins without investing any single penny out of it.
606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real Reason Why Bitcoin Price Shot Up Today on: October 29, 2019, 01:49:29 PM
The real reason why bitcoin price shot up today may have nothing to do with China's president announcement that they may reserve the blockchain and crypto exchange ban. Read this article about the real reason and let me know what you think.

https://www.cryptozink.io/real-reason-why-bitcoin-price-shot-up-today-china-crypto-news/
Honestly no one exactly knows the reasons why Bitcoins slightly make a pump however, I do believe that Xi's announcement became an impact or a became a fuel to ignite an increase movement. Remember China's decision has been a big factor in Market way back 2017.
607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any applications on Mobile to trade crypto? on: October 29, 2019, 12:09:24 PM
I’m rather curious about what are the best Crypto sites to trade Cryptocurrency & if they have a mobile application because my PC has broken down recently and I currently have only my smartphone (iPhone) with me right now that I can use in order to trade cryptocurrency.
Actually you don't even need an app in order to trade, you could have just use your browsers just to access them. There are some exchanges that is mobile friendly meaning whether you use them via your PC or mobile browser you can still access it without having difficulties. However, if you still preferably to use mobile trading app then Binance could be a good app and I think it is available in Playstore.
608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What did you know about Bitcoin before becoming a bitcoiner? on: October 29, 2019, 11:27:45 AM
Honestly, Bitcoin was introduced by my friend, he told me that he had a job for me regarding with this technology and will be paid by Bitcoin so I get the job and ask what is Bitcoin they told me that is kind of currency to that used for online transaction. Because of my curiosity I search some topics regards this and I found out that it can be used as an asset perfect for investment.
609  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: October 28, 2019, 04:42:33 PM
I am prepared myself for trading. But i need some suggetions from here. There are many way for trading in cryptocurrency. But i need correct one which is profitabe. I am prepared myself for day trading. Is it profitabe?
There's no doubt that it is profitable, however, based on the market we have now is day trade is somehow not a good option due to the fact that the market is somehow stable. Engaging in day trading requires a lot of time and effort because every time you must read the flow of the market and make a plan out of it. Moreover, this will be more profitable when you have a huge amount of funds because fees will surely be an issue.
610  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL'ers lose. That is no surprise on: October 28, 2019, 04:10:57 PM
I don't think so, if you have known BTC since you first launched BTC, then you bought it, would you say that? of course not! For example if you buy BTC in 2017 when BTC is famous and touches 18,000 USD and then you hold it until now then you lose money because it lasts too long, basically bitcoin is for long term investment, not short term, if you take short term immediately you sell even if you make a little profit.
~ If you lust then lust will kill you.
You have a point. Perhaps OP doesn't see Bitcoin what was like it before, probably he has only a few experiences in this industry. Way back 2009 bitcoin was priceless but suddenly when 2017 comes there's a big difference occur, from 0-20 USD in instant. This is the prove that Crypto is getting and getting bigger, there might have been some dip for bitcoin but it won't die that easily.
For me, HODL is the most effective way to earn profit yet less risky because all you need to do is to wait till for uptrend comes then sell, to be honest, I prefer to earn this way however this will takes time.
611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run / wishful think ? on: October 28, 2019, 10:00:08 AM
I think were in a bullish market right now since the price of bitcoin pumps up from $7K to $9.5k and that's only for bitcoin what if the price go up higher then altcoins will surely follow up. Maybe we can see the price could go hit between the range 16k - 18k.

That's why better to buy more bitcoin and wait until it goes down a little then wait until it rise or do a daytrade but bteer long term hodling.
I think the reason is because of Xi's speech with regards to endorsement of Blockchain technology. However, I cannot tell if this is a bull run already, this could be the starting point and as we can see the chart showing a good flow. Hence, probably next year will see the Bitcoin having a huge price.
612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best altcoin to invest excluding ETH on: October 28, 2019, 07:26:16 AM
Right now the market situation is not so much to make any predictions but can do some experiment at our own risk by investing into altcoin.

But if we have to try something different by investing into a new altcoin which has caliber to perform well rather than investing on a reputed altcoins like Ethereum.  Kindly suggest which would be the best altcoin to invest which is under $1.
It is better if you will place your investment in top ranked coins which can be seen in coinmarketcap. Based on coinmarketcap XRP gets the 3rd place and I think you should go for it. Litecoin, and BNB is a good choice as well. Remember that go for coins that has big volume and most liquid.
613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China's President Xi Jinping VS Bitcoin on: October 28, 2019, 06:31:16 AM
this is the Chinese president's speech about his ambition towards Blockchain technology..

source: https://www.theblockcrypto.com/post/44646/xi-jinping-says-to-let-china-take-the-leading-position-in-blockchain

here I will not discuss Blockchain technology because China is certainly very accepting of the existence of Blockchain technology

I would like to discuss whether you think this is Xi hidden message to the world that they are able to make a perfect cryptocurrency than Bitcoin?

indeed blockchain technology is not only related to cryptocurrencies, but I think Xi has another intention!!
Based on th speech it seems Xi has deep intention of endorsing the Blockchain probably they have intention of creating a coin that will compete with Bitcoin however, even if  they did I doubt that they will replace this coin. Bitcoin is far way ahead and it is not something you can dethrone easily, as a matter of fact there are a lot of coins who had same intent but none of them succeed.
614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No other currency on: October 28, 2019, 06:11:10 AM
if there are no other currencies we will not be able to diversify. diversifying investments I think is beneficial because we can count on several coins not just one coin. if for example the value of coin A goes down we can still expect on coin B to experience an increase. and if there is no altcoin the crypto market will not develop as fast as it is now.
You have a point diversifying our funds is one of the best strategy in investment but in my opinion you don't need to diversify your investment if it placed on Bitcoin because it is guaranteed that you will get a return.
Bitcoin can stand alone even if don't have any altcoins surrounds it because Bitcoin is independent however, the market will not be the same as it now if altcoins doesn't exist.
615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Worrying about the Bitcoin Price on: October 27, 2019, 05:48:15 PM
As long as you look at the price of bitcoin every minute of your life, you cannot sleep well. People should not focus on the short movement of bitcoin because its highly volatile. The good thing right now is that, the price starts to recover and its good for those who don’t panic sell, it will rise big again soon.

More people are for profits or thinking the investment aspect of bitcoin not taking into consideration the original purpose of bitcoin which is a digital currency for peer to peer transaction. To some investors, price is all that matters, I can’t blame them because if the price is high then they can get big profits. On the other hand, I agree that the price is now recovering so we just have to trust in bitcoin.
People preferably use this currency for making profits via investment and trading simply because Bitcoin is undeniably volatile which is perfect for these kind of transaction. However, Bitcoin is versatile we can use it whatever way we want either peer to peer transaction or profitable transactions. Regards on recovering of Bitcoin, we should not worry about it especially now that the Bitcoin chart conveys a good movement.
616  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: We are finally going to $22k on: October 27, 2019, 04:48:59 PM
After seeing the current Bitcoin pump structure it looks like the bulls have enough fuel to get the price to $17k resistance. I don't think we are going to reach $22k this year, but as we had an almost 50% surge in price in only one day everything is possible in crypto land. 😅

With confidence that bitcoin can reach the target of $ 22k at the end of the year or the beginning of the year, and now bitcoin has begun to move again, is this surge like a significant yesterday I know this is a good day for bitcoin.
It is really good to see Bitcoin's growth this year but I think getting $22K before this year ends seems vague to happen due to the fact that Bitcoin's value is playing around $10k yet sudden big movement seems impossible as well. My prediction is probably the first quarter of year 2020 since the endorsement of Blockchain by president Xi Jinping in China has big impact on the crypto industry.
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Statement against people who say Bitcoin is a Scam on: October 27, 2019, 03:36:32 PM
I always find people who think that Bitcoin or cryptocurrency assets are busting money and sometimes there are people who always assume that investing in bitcoin is fraught with hacker risk.
on the other hand I cannot assume that their opinions are wrong, but on the other hand I cannot justify their statements.
I always think that people who have opinions like that are people who don't really know about blockchain technology, or they just read from one of the articles that happens to provide news about a "dark" case in bitcoin, so they often assume that bitcoin is a range against hackers and scam.

what do you think about finding people like that and how will you react to them?
Well, I'll just simply tell them my opinion regards with crypto and even share my experiences through it. If they had bad perception to Bitcoin then there's nothing I can do about it perhaps I'll still tell them that there are good benefits of using a crypto and if they did refuse to accept it then probably I will enjoy the benefits myself along with the people who believes on it.
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand risk in crypto on: October 27, 2019, 02:12:32 PM
Well, you will understand the risk best once you try loss on your own skin.  Smiley
However, to avoid that you need knowledge about Bitcoin and the market so try to get aa much information as you can from trusted sources. Also, don't forget that Bitcoin is volatile and majority of risk lies exactly in that feature.
Also, inform yourself about risk management in general, it will also help you with Bitcoin.
Having loss once is the great lesson you'll have because after you lose something you will realize what is wrong with your action yet experience can be considered as one of the most important you ought obtain in this industry. Obtain knowledge as much as you can, never stop learning because this will be your guide to lessen the risk. Planning could be a good option as well.
619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whet is the best marketplace to buy Bitcoin? on: October 27, 2019, 01:19:20 PM
Hi,

 >:(I'm new but I'm looking trusted site to buy. Please help me. Angry

Thanks
Well, I think you should go for top ranked exchanges where there's high volume so that the transaction you will be easy for you. It is better as well if we will consider the availability of exchange in your country for more efficient transaction. You could go for Binance or Coinbase if is available your country. Those exchanges where I used to trade and so far I haven't ecountered any problem yet so I highly recommend them.
620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Overall winning - Dice on: October 26, 2019, 04:04:03 PM
Have anyone profited out of dice in the short or long term. I have been trying the best and lost all, I can't leave it. Once after I loss I have gone beyond my ability. Finally as the wallet got emptied, I bought bitcoin particularly for betting and lost even the amount earned from my day job. I used to experience win, but at the end it is a loss. I miss the right time to stop and leave. Cry Cry Cry
Well, that is sad to hear buddy. Sometimes we should learn to give up if we felt that we have no chance of winning then don't afraid to quit, perhaps you could search for your luck first because no matter what we try as long as out luck doesn't click up it won't work. In my opinion, leaving behind is a good option because if you will try for another one to catch up on your losses it will only lead to an addiction that could possibly worsen the scenario.
