601  Economy / Speculation / Re: what's best time to invest in bitcoin ? on: June 07, 2017, 08:51:06 PM
Hello Guys ,

I am new here & i want to Know what's best times for invest in Bitcoin ? Grin Grin

i'll buy buck amount of Bitcoins , so i want to know the best time for buy  Wink Wink

The best time to invest in bitcoin is immediately after the correction, on bitcoin halving, after a big dump, and after a panic selling. These are the best times because the price of bitcoin at that time is somehow lower than it's current trend. Just be alert about it because once bitcoin's price recovered, you have to wait a long time before we experience them again.
602  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin provide income on line? on: June 07, 2017, 08:46:49 PM
People definitely have chances to earn online. By means of bitcoin or not, they still gain so this is not a new thing. There are signature campaigns in this very forum that lets people to join and get paid in bitcoin or altcoin. Others may join and accept free lancer jobs where they can be paid in fiat or in bitcoin. there are many ways. However, relying only on bitcoin in earning is too risky. Bitcoin is still unstable.
603  Economy / Economics / Re: Just Loss My 3BTC/$8,7xx by field Wrong address for widthrawal on: June 07, 2017, 08:42:08 PM
That was very unfortunate. And for a solution, I cannot recommend anything. That 3 BTC of your is as good as gone now. Though we can track the address that received the bitcoin, how can we even recover it?

I think you were a victim what they call a Copy-Paste virus. There was a thread here about that case and it would seem that you are unaware. In order to avoid anymore tragedy, I suggest you should check your computer and have it cleaned. Also be sure to double and triple check the address before having a transaction.
604  Economy / Economics / Re: A $10,000 Bitcoin is possible, but it won't be what you think it would be on: June 07, 2017, 08:34:57 PM
Yes it will happen and only time can tell when. Some might say within a year, 2, or 3 but only time has the answer.

I haven't encountered about someone believing that the price of bitcoin comes from the USD itself. USD is just a reference for the bitcoin's price and they have no association or whatsoever. As from your statement, the demand and supply is the sole dictator of the price of bitcoin, nothing else.
605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Active or Passive on: June 07, 2017, 08:23:02 PM
Active mode here Grin

As seen on my signature, I am included in a signature campaign thus I am on the active earner. It is the best feeling when you work for your profit and all the effort pays off. I haven't done any passive earning such as investing because I do not have much bitcoin to spare. I have only few so I intend to hold them for a long while.
606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crime funded by bitcoin on: June 07, 2017, 08:18:56 PM
First of all, crimes are not funded by bitcoin, but they are funded with bitcoin. Your title made bitcoin evil that bitcoin is a large entity that is the cause of crimes. You may misled people with that.

The association of bitcoin and crimes will never stop, does it? If criminals want to use bitcoin as their fund can we do something? None. If the criminals want to use fiat in funding their dirty work can we do something? None . So why on Earth are some people giving a damn about how people want to use bitcoin? Maybe they are just too bored in their lives and continually criticize Bitcoin to deeds where people are to be blamed.
607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: i think bitcoin will not be common for small transcitions on: June 07, 2017, 08:03:04 PM
Yes, as time goes by, Bitcoin use for small transactions will be uncommon. Not just because Bitcoin's price is soaring upward, also the transaction fees needed are increasing as well. If this continues, no one will dare to have a small transaction. Going to an altcoin for small transaction is far too practical than bitcoin.

I do not know any solution for this for this are inevitable. Segwit on August first is a proposed solution but I do not know if it is a solution or not.
608  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin hit 3500$ in 2018?  ??? on: June 06, 2017, 08:07:45 PM
Can bitcoin hit 3500$ in 2018?
I just wondering if bitcoin hits 3500$ in 2018 what would you do?
Me i will just keep holding in my bitcoin cause i believe that bitcoin can quadriple its value a couple of years from now.

Yes, it is possible. Just this day, Bitcoin almost reached 3000 USD. So 3500 USD would be just around the corner and will take only weeks or months.

So if ever bitcoin hits 3500 USD, regardless when, I will hold onto it of course. I do not want to spend it just too soon. However, that will depend upon the situation. If ever that I have no choice but to cash it out, then I will. I can always earn bitcoin and Bitcoin is also meant to be spent. If the situation calls for spending, I will.
609  Economy / Speculation / Re: IS BITCOIN GOING BACK DOWN? on: June 06, 2017, 08:00:06 PM
Bitcoin is running for 3000 USD as this very moment. It would seem that OP wants to have a big dump on bitcoin's price. Well that is beneficial for investors in order for them to buy in at a low price, right?

I do not think that bitcoin will go down that low. I believe that we will see bitcoin's price around 2500 USD and will not go below that. We have Australia in line so it is more possible to have a big pump rather than dump.
610  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will it happen? on: June 06, 2017, 07:43:06 PM
The time I've decided to earn bitcoin is when I have heard that bitcoin might be the future currency of these world. Bitcoin will be a payment to shops where you can pay without pulling out your wallet and just scan their QR code. Pay a coffee just by scanning a QR code, but we are not realizing these way of paying little by little is slipping away from us. With the price and the problem of transacting using bitcoin, how far are we from these way of using bitcoin?

This only means that bitcoin is not yet that popular to be in that scenario. Though at this point, some merchants accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment particularly in Japan. They are utilizing bitcoin at its finest, even their airline accepts bitcoin as payment. It seems like you do not feel the usage of bitcoin because it is not that popular in your country. But if you are pertaining to the worldwide usage of bitcoin as a mode of payment, then we just have to wait. Bitcoin is still young in age. Patience is all we need as of now.
611  Economy / Speculation / Re: AMAZING BITCOIN on: June 06, 2017, 07:37:26 PM
It is like we are heading north to $3000/1Bitcoin before the week falls.

I hope that this prediction will become a reality. Also, after achieving the $3000 mark, I hope that bitcoin will continue to rise until the end of the year. Based from the chart of bitcoin's price, though it decreased again, bitcoin as of now is beginning to gain its momentum. This is a great news for all bitcoin hodlers. A bigger profit is at hand  Smiley
612  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here we go on: June 06, 2017, 08:55:52 AM
Price is starting to climb, weak hands have been shaken out, whales made their money, people diving back in, strap in and get ready for liftoff

Yes and it would seem that Bitcoin will start to board on a rocket. Based from the recent price of bitcoin, it surpasses the all time high reached by bitcoin last May 25, 2017. So I guess this means that Bitcoin is on route to the moon. A nice news for all bitcoin investors that seek profits from bitcoin and not to mention all if bitcoin users.

613  Economy / Economics / Re: Nobody Can Have Benefit From a Big Pump on: June 06, 2017, 08:30:16 AM
If Bitcoin price pumps from $1300 to $3000 in few hours, nobody would make profit from it, because the exchanges wouldn't allow you to sell your Bitcoins and make the fast profit, it would bring a big loss for exchange sites.

Do you agree with this?

Reputation is one of the important things for service providers such as these exchanges. If an exchange declines its customer in selling his assets then that would definitely ruin the reputation of the exchange. And surely, that is not good for them. Instead of having profits, the might end up without customers at all.
614  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC near $3k on: June 06, 2017, 08:19:06 AM
I think this is the ATH.  Shocked And this is awesome. Many business are leaning towards blockchain technology.

Yes, Bitcoin to almost reach 3000 USD is indeed the all time high. It is very beneficial to old investors and an inspiration for the new ones. However, I believe that we've seen just the beginning, bitcoin will surely achieve more greater heights. And as bitcoin gain so much achievements, more and more people will surely engage in bitcoin and more and more business will surely lean toward bitcoin and blockchain technology.
615  Economy / Services / Re: NVO.IO Signature and Avatar Campaign | Members to legendaries | [OPEN] on: June 05, 2017, 05:49:57 PM
Thanks, I received the payment.

I would just like to inquire, since you paid a day earlier if for example someone you paid haven't reached the maximum number of post allowed in the current week when you payed, are the post/s before tomorrow 6:30 AM be counted on the current week or for the next week?

To make it not confusing, you counted my post as 24 which is 6 posts away from the maximum allowable posts and I planned to make that 6 posts now before the cut-off. Then on the next round (after the cut-off), I posted 30 posts, will the payment for the next round be 30+6 * pay rate or just 30*pay rate?
You will be paid for 30+6 posts. You can continue posting as usual and don't worry about that.

Thanks for the response. That cleared my thoughts  Smiley

I have changed the signature code as instructed. Thank you for your notification. More power!
616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Live]🌟🌟🌟🌟 NVO Decentralized Exchange | Multi Wallet 🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: June 04, 2017, 08:28:01 PM
I see this Project doesn't use regulary promotions to attract investors, hoping the NVO crowdsale will succeed soon

I do not know what type of regular promotion are you looking for but as of May 19, 2017, NVO has a signature campaign here in the forum. I believe that this is a regular type of promotion that undoubtedly attracts investors. Not just the advertisement via signature campaign but also the project itself attract investors.
617  Economy / Economics / Re: The Crash is gone, and we will see 3,500 usd within 60 days from today on: June 04, 2017, 08:18:24 PM
Ok the crash is gone it felt from 2,700 USD down to almost 2,000 and recover, the worst is gone, and I am predicting that the BTC will be at 3,500 USD within 60 days from today.

Why:

1.- More people interested
2.- More news and possible segwit
3.- On July 1st Australia will accept BTC as a currency.

So my advice is that if you can get as more BTC as you can, do it because this is just getting started.

1. Everyday, more and more people are getting interested in Bitcoin so there is no argument in there.

2. As they all say, any type of publicity is good for bitcoin. On the matter of Segwit of August, it is still uncertain. We still do not know what will be the impact of activating Segwit so this might increase bitcoin's price but it might decrease as well.

3. That will depend on how strong or what will be the impact of accepting bitcoin in Australia. If it will be just like in Japan, which is I doubt, then we might see your speculations or close enough.
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 years ago I wrote this bitcoin sci-fi short story! Today it is all spoiled! on: June 04, 2017, 08:06:56 PM
3 years ago I was trying to write the sci fi short story called MARS MINER about things happening in the bitcoin mining facility in MARS.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=668028.msg7574713#msg7574713

But the whole blocksize debate has spoiled everything. Clock is ticking for what they called flippening where some altcoin will overtake bitcoin.

we are not going to mars, we are going to fall into sea to the bottom.

It is a sci-fi story right? So it should not be affected by the happenings in the real world. Only you are affected, not the story. Or if you cared about the reality so much, then add some of the current dispute in the real world to your story. You might want to add some twists right? Oh yeah, if ever bitcoin will be overtaken by an altcoin, then that will justify that your story is a total sci-fi Grin
619  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins value on: June 04, 2017, 07:58:28 PM
What are the factors that affect the bitcoins value ? Just curious guys. Wanted to learn more.

The main factors would be the supply and the demand. Supply is the total number of bitcoin available in the market that are ready to be bought by users. Another for supply is the total number of bitcoin in circulation or bring used in the market. Demand is the amount of bitcoin needed or wanted by users.

There are external factors that affects the main factors. The best example is the announcement of Japan that they will start to accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment. That event triggered more users to engage in bitcoin, thus, increase in demand as well as in price. Another is rumors about the death of bitcoin or anything alike that might trigger panic selling. That will result to increase in supply but decrease in price. There are many more factors but the main factors are the dictator of the price of bitcoin.
620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Give your child/ren a bright future! on: June 04, 2017, 07:40:34 PM
If you are serious about saving money for your kids' education or future needs, putting that money in bitcoin is an extremely irresponsible decision. You are far better off putting it into index funds and mutual funds, assuming it will be there for 10+ years. The risk vs reward over 10+ years for those funds is extremely favorable and for bitcoin it absolutely is not. This isn't really a debatable topic either - investing in any asset that is less than 10 years old, for a duration of 10+ years, is going to be riskier than investing in something that has had consistent behavior for over 100 years.

I happen to believe that bitcoin has a bright future but anybody who feels confident enough in that to put their children's savings into it is being foolish. Bitcoin investments should be made using money that you can afford to lose.

I would never classify my suggestion as as "extremely irresponsible decision." First of all I am not a parent but I will speak like a parent, as a parent, I will decide and choose what I think is best for my kids. And if I think that investing in Bitcoin is best, then you cannot question my thoughts, you do not even have the right to do so. I never forced you to follow the suggestion in OP so you have the right to accept or neglect. If you think that investing in mutual funds is the best for your kids then do so, I don't give a damn on your thoughts and decisions.

OP, you said it as if the price of Bitcoin will forever continue on the up trend. Investing in Bitcoin is like investing in any other business. Businesses do have their downtrend from time to time. If in doubt, you may want to find out from Mark Zukerberg or Bill Gates. I am one of the VERY few who believes that Bitcoin will not forever trend upwards in price. In fact, a time will come when other coins will go top it.

I, myself, believe in bitcoin. However, I choose to be wise in this type of environment. I did not claim that bitcoin will stay forever nor bitcoin will continue upward but we all hope that bitcoin will be the apple of our eyes forever. The OP is just a suggestion and all are free to do what they will. I believe in Bitcoin so I want to invest in bitcoin. Regardless of the risk and uncertainties, I will invest but I will monitor and be a wise investor.

Well I have a problem with this topic suppose my present or future is secure it mean that I have a secure future for my child too. If I have an insecure future then my kids definitely will be having an insecure future.

So, why do the writer have put the word children in the text? To make it more sensitive or to let the users realize that the Bitcoin is not a short term investment.

You cannot be too sure. That is only for you or for the whole family, but consider the uncertainties of life. Even though if you have a secured future today, all things may fall apart due to some reasons. So in order to secure the future of your kids, you have to have a separate way of securing their future. You must not depend on the now. Yes you have to prepare for the future of yourself and your family and that includes a separate preparation to the future of your kids.

The word "children" is included because it is about them. About securing their future. Not to make it sensitive but to make an emphasis. Most users know that bitcoin is a long term investment, you have to take note that mate.

I think the whole idea of op is not to tie down some Bitcoin for 10 or more years. But rather a move to take advantage of the impressive price surge in the price of Bitcoin as some fund left in some Bitcoin wallet for a year or two can double or even triple and can then be withdrawn  and transferred to mutual funds for instance.

I say that you got a wise head there mate. The suggestion does not say everything and others must think and be wise about this king of thought. If uncertainties happen, be wise and do some actions. The future of you kids is at stake, I believe in Bitcoin but having caution is always safer.

Everybody has their own interpretation about the suggestion. Accepting it as is without having further studies might lead to failure. Being wise is not evil, right?
