601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on South Korea on: May 14, 2017, 05:37:32 AM
Honestly, the whole virtual currency aspect of it is kind of gamified especially with the kind of media coverage Bitcoin has gotten. If you really understand or love money, then you would love to learn about Bitcoin.

I think this is what attracts the Asian markets towards Bitcoin on top of its utility.
602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Had a Dream Aliens Brought Us Bitcoin to Save Our Monetary System on: May 14, 2017, 05:35:08 AM
Well, whoever Satoshi is thank goodness Bitcoin exists because a world controlled by Fiat would be terrible.
603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used in space? on: May 14, 2017, 05:33:00 AM
It would be pretty easy to scan QR codes in space with the lasers on our space ships.
604  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: May 13, 2017, 08:40:40 AM
It's a cool site. The referral program is quite nice if you refer the right people and I use the savings account as well to gain interest.

I really only play the gambling game when I withdraw my money and have a very little balance in the hopes to get lucky without much risk  Grin

Aside from that, the site is a faucet, interest account and referral program all-in-one for me.
605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Besides its speculation ,what is the real use of bitcoin ? on: May 13, 2017, 08:32:15 AM
Bitcoin is becoming so valuable that it will probably continue to be used as a store of value more than anything else. Depending on who you are of course will dictate what goods and services are being purchased, but overall I predict less trading and more hoarding.

I can see Litecoins actually being used for transactions, while Bitcoins become more rare.
606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Can Bitcoin be used in space? on: May 13, 2017, 06:00:47 AM
Just curious, since the Internet is mostly an Earthly thing... would astronauts be able to access and transfer their Bitcoins whilst traveling throughout the solar system?
607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Losing Faith in Bitcoin? on: May 13, 2017, 05:54:37 AM
You still need to look at the fundamentals of Bitcoin as a storage of value. You're focused on minutiae that in the grand scheme of things, does not really matter.
608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Besides its speculation ,what is the real use of bitcoin ? on: May 12, 2017, 06:51:22 PM
Bitcoin is intrinsically a storage of value with the security of a Swiss bank that can be transferred anywhere globally. Who cares about the trading price lol
609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin Swear Jar: Stop Swearing While Saving For College on: May 12, 2017, 06:49:57 PM
Pretty cool idea. What if this was an actual iOS app that tracked your voice and deducted BTC everytime you swore?  Cheesy Maybe a future blockchain application?  Shocked

Nevertheless, if I catch myself swearing or cussing someone out, I'll donate some BTC to your address.
610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please dump it on: May 12, 2017, 06:46:51 PM
There are always going to be opportunities that you are going to miss. All you really need to do is hop on a few boats that are the rights ones and you'll be good.

There's still plenty of opportunity in crypto. I wouldn't worry too much - just keep learning.
611  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ▁ ▂ ▄ ▅ ▆ Cloudmining 101 (ponzi risk assessment) ▆ ▅ ▄ ▂ ▁ on: May 12, 2017, 09:58:08 AM
Has eobot been confirmed to be legit?
The website still seems to be up but the fact that the service might still be runnin is no confirmation that it's in any way legit. Eobot could very much likely be a long running scam. Not to say that "cloud mining" isn't a feasible model to defraud bitcoin newbies with a seemingly legit business model.

On Eobot there is Visa Card Payment option, it seems to be valid - so the company seems to be valid (and not so profitable -> so the company seems to be valid  Smiley ).

Eobot has been running for 4 years now and has its own dedicated mining pool and faucet. Would these two services combined with cloud mining make it legit?
612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please dump it on: May 12, 2017, 09:46:45 AM
No need to regret with the decision that has been taken, if you still have the money to buy again it doesn't matter
I ever thought like that when the price of Bitcoin down to $ 800, I I will wait for the price down to $ 600 and buy back, but apparently it doesn't happen that there is more High
So buy again and never think you will lose, because Bitcoin something that has a value higher than the current price

Now that you mention it since Bitcoin is so scarce (but also can be bought anywhere, anytime - unlike Gold), the higher it goes up, the more valuable it becomes. And the more valuable it becomes, the higher the price goes up  Grin

613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many of my fellow bitcoiners do affiliate marketing? on: May 12, 2017, 09:42:23 AM
To the person that asked me about YouTube, I just provide value on a topic people want to know about and link to resources in my description.

I think the best bet with affiliate marketing would be to create an authority website centered around a niche, and ranking it on Google using SEO for hundreds of keywords. That is something I am working on building and will continue to expand on.

BTW, you all know that you are participating in Affiliate Marketing with your signature campaigns, right?  Grin Make sure to put it to use if you haven't already.

615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please dump it on: May 12, 2017, 09:29:29 AM
I have lost the run since I sold all my btc exactly the day before the rise. Now I want to come back but price is too high. Please tell the Chinese to make a dump so I can join again. Thanks

Bro, this is why you've got to understand how to properly invest. Think Berkshire Hathaway not Wolf Of Wall Street.

The whole point of crypto and the blockchain is to succeed over the long run vs Fiat currencies. Day trading and shorting cryptocurrency is NOT a long-term strategy.

If you are lucky the media might shake prices up later this month, but only a fool would treat crypto like stocks. Lesson learned the hard way.
616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: May 12, 2017, 09:25:46 AM
I store my Bitcoins in a cold paper wallet locked away inside of a hard, steel safe dug 10 feet underneath a hidden spot in my backyard.  Tongue
617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: May 12, 2017, 09:12:26 AM
The cool thing is there is no cap on the price of Bitcoin. The more interesting question is how high can't Bitcoin go?  Cheesy
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if POKEMON GO let people earn Bitcoin? on: May 12, 2017, 08:51:44 AM
Are we just ignoring the potential of the GAME and MobileGo platforms? Not only will in-game currency be possible, but also we will be able to sell in-game assets and characters. Tournaments, matchmaking, and game economics will be so integrated that it will be a wonder how a decentralized virtual gaming currency was never implemented before.

Of course, it would take Nintendo to actually adopt the technology and platform and develop for it, but the reality we are describing and wishing for is actually closer than we think.
619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Phenomenal rise of Bitcoin price! on: May 12, 2017, 08:42:47 AM
I think it will likely take a tumble in the short term, but long term I can see $2,000 to $3,000 by the end of the year.

Beyond that, expect exponential increases.
620  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Keep away from CoinURL, it's a scam. on: May 12, 2017, 08:33:09 AM
This is the first thread I've read about CoinUrl and they already sound scrummy. Any recommendations for a legit URL shortening service that pays?
