You can't always time every pump but having a good knowledge on TA and FA helps you spot those potential crptos that's going to give you profits.

So it has taken this project more than five years to launch a token sale. There are a few things I like here but isn't a softcap of USD10 million a bit too much for an advertising and marketing platform?

Don't judge an ICO based on its softcap. It depends on what the project is trying to build. You can't compare an ICO with a softcap of say $500K that's buiding a cryptocurrency exchange to an ICO with a softcap of say $20 million that's building a platform for renewable energy.

When you already call a particular coin a "shit", how do you expect it not to disappoint?  
It's a term being used loosely. Why not try to define what a shitcoin is first?

So there's this campaign that I've participated that locked bounty rewards in the hopes of avoiding token dumping. As what I expected, the dumping still happened. What's even funnier is that it is now the bounty hunters who complains unlike before where investors blame bounty hunters 

If there's any coins or tokens that should be locked, it should only be the team's share (or maybe add those given to advisors). Both parties (investors & hunters) have invested either money or time to get their share and they should not be subjected to such restriction.

Instead of locking, teams should just concentrate on other methods such as buy back and loyalty rewards to lessen the chances of price crash.

I don't think bounty will be completely gone if IEOs become more and more popular. There are more startups than establised exhanges. Also, bounty campaigns are not only limited to crowdfunding.

OP probably meant that we should not only follow the price and miss all the developments that's happening around the project. A low price does not necessarily mean that there's a "problem". You see a lot of these guys on telegram who only enters the chat asking "why price is low?" and/or "why no volume?" without having any of the project announcements.

Not necessarily a "fact". With or without IEOs, many new projects will still come out.

It is true that every project needs advertisements but let's not forget that there are many forms of advertisement. The more projects go directly to established exchanges for IEOs, the higher the chance that bounty hunters will be less needed.

I do not know what are the chances of someone gaining access to your private keys from knowing your public keys or if it is even possible at all. To all technical guys here, please share your opinion/s.
