As for who, who knows. I'm not going to reveal specifics about pms I've seen in reports here, but I will say it's not wise to taunt scammers when you leave them negative feedback. It's disrespectful, and a good way to make enemies.
I am sure that a lot (or at least some) of the people that receive negative trust is a result of a misunderstanding and may not truly be trying to scam. If this is the case then taunting after giving negative trust means that you are taunting someone who is trying to operate legitimately. Imo that behavior is very unprofessional and reflects very poorly on him. The negative feedback is harsh as he has stopped providing escrow from his main account. Keep a look out for one of his alts to start providing escrow. Which ALT are you talking about? Link to the account please. ~~MZ~~ |

I recommend not to use wallets like Coinbase or Xapo because you don't have access to the private keys. So, if their server or if they go, your bitcoins are lost. Try to use a desktop or mobile wallet. If you do travel a lot, try to use blockchain.info with 2FA but if you have Android, then install an Android wallet.

At the least, the trust system should be changed so that all those on depth 1 can not improve their own trust rating as CanaryInTheMine did by trusting redsn0w.
redsn0w is in Canary's trust list. I think changing trust system can't be done as there is no alternative system which can atleast match current one but IMHO the faults what you're pointing can only be corrected by making default trust depth to 1. ~~MZ~~ |

This sort of behaviour is clear abuse of the system in my opinion. This is no different than buying trust, except you're just abusing your position to get it for free. I noticed mine and Stunna's feedback went up today even though we had no new feedback so I guess this is the reason why. Does anyone know when philipma was added and all these people were added to his list?
He was added by CanaryInTheMine, I think that's why, Madz posted here about this issue. No, he was not added by CanaryInTheMine, he is at DefaultTrust depth 1, the same level as Canary. I posted this here because he has done what people complained Canary did, and has been even more blatant about it. Who else added him? I can only see him on Canary's? Theymos/Badbear added him as he is trust depth 1 and also, he is trusted by Canary. But I don't know who added him first. And, I don't think he is a mod. @Quickseller : Any mistake from your side? Anyway, Theymos has personally accepted these ads and displayed them on a site he controls, so if anyone has lost money because they thought his judgement was better regarding this then they can for instance give him a negative trust rating.
I haven't seen scam sites being advertised here. He has even declined Bitmixer bid. Can you provide any links to the scam-bids being accepted by Theymos? ~~MZ~~ |

Negative trust feedback was put to notify others that you have failed to do the job, however, I think just an untrusted feedback or a post on your escrow service thread was enough for this, so people looking will see it. I hope you won't stop the service because of this. ~~MZ~~ |
