Do we really need a reason for every drop and every rise? I never thought that it can be only one reason behind some big market movement, in any side. Its like you say, some factors, there is more then one, and probably every factor have some effect, that is different every time.
Crypto market is very young, its one of the most obvious reasons for volatility. Young market is an easy target for big players, they can manipulate with the price movement and they are using that, but I don't think they will be able to do that forever.

Nice words, its really hard to pick absolute bottom in crypto market, but for that reason is hard to predict possible absolute top too. Its why some people, even I in some moments, believe that top is really high and that we are far away from some possible top. Its why this can be a good buying opportunity, for people who are looking for long term investments. Many of us wait for the next rise, and probably we will have to wait for some time more.

Don't trust the news, trust the product. For daily trading you need to be informed and to try to make good trades based on that, but for long run you don't need news, you can invest and hold for years, its best to forget about some coins, and to open that wallet in several years. Bull run will come eventually, there are no dates, it can happen anytime next year, or maybe the one after next year. If I would have to make some bets I would bet on 2021 and later, but its just my wild guessing.

I don't get some people, they rush into some nameless projects just cause they saw huge promises of high profit after the end of ico or ieo..when that doesn't happen they come here and cry about it. Not all alts are shitcoins, people should learn to make a difference. And profit doesn't come over night, be patient with your investment couple years at least.
Now we have so many people that invested in bitcoin on top, or some other alt, many of them are down big time from their ath prices, even more people that invested in some scam project that lost value in days after listing, and its a mess, don't make that to discourage you, there are still quality services, good alts, awesome possibilities, but its just harder to find that.

When it comes to crypto you can't expect high profit tomorrow, that's possible only in one way with huge bankroll. And that kind of trading with huge amounts is risky! I don't trade with ethereum so I don't know what kind of fluctuations ethereum makes on daily basis, for me ethereum is a long term investment, their time is yet to come.
This year was not bad for ethereum, it had a nice rise to 350 dollars and after that ethereum is in a bear market, price is declining for months. Things will settle only after upgrade, until that point we can see price going down even more. That is a good thing for people who wish to invest in ethereum in long run.

I think that nobody can have control all the time, even professional poker players lose control, so what to say about us amateurs. Well, I have control most of the time, but there are moments when I lose that control, its usually in moments when I get into some fire and that happens from time to time, that makes gambling so attractive, and couple times losing control was a good thing, I bet like crazy and I win something big.

Nothing is 100% safe in this world, depending on the risk involved you can make more or less profit in time, but to be clear on one thing, there are no any guarantees in investment world. Banks are just a third party service that needs to be there for us to make transactions, you need to use banks if you wish to make your life easier, but now crypto is even better, you don't need third party service for sending money on the other side of the world, you are your own bank with crypto.

If I need to guess I would say that doge coin have better community. It's what I like about doge coin, and I always say pretty much the same things, it has awesome people, and even thou doge coin made for fun, doge survived all this years, its listed almost everywhere. On of the true decentralized coins in crypto.
Cause of the supply doge cant make some huge rise in near future, like until now we can expect occasional spikes, but nothing huge.

In the beginning many new projects were good, and just some were scams. Now situations is opposite, we have many scams, and here and there some good new project. Instead of quitting, people should learn how to spot a scam on time, how to avoid traps, and believe there are traps everywhere around in crypto, trading have more traps than any other crypto activity probably.

People will turn to alternatives when their national currency lose money. Before there wasn't bitcoin, people used gold as alternative, other precious metals and other goods, but bitcoin beats them all, its easier to hide and transfer it, if we talk about some higher amounts, how will someone transfer gold, or anything else, bitcoin wallet full with bitcoins can be hidden anywhere, much easier.
I think its normal for people that live in economically volatile countries to seek for some safe heaven for their assets, bitcoin is the best for that until now, addition to that can be promising future, and that holding can worth much more some day.

Both! I don't see any reason for not having both! You can invest in what you want, you can earn different coins and later trade them for the coins you would like to have. There are many discussions about diversifying, to never have all your money in one place, apply that in the reality and you will have to invest in different crypto coins, and if you are thinking outside the box you should try to have some investments outside the crypto if you wish to be safe in any case. Nobody knows what future holds, that's why we invest in what we think its the best, gold diggers believe in gold, miners believe in crypto, some people believe in something totally different. World is full with opportunities and we are all gambling in some way by investing in assets that have potential future.

Early adopters didn't have luxury that we have now. It's not only that they didn't have the choices we have now, they needed to believe when all the prices were 0, or milicent's. You said their success were felt the most during the last bull run, that was in 2017. Math is simple here, they needed to wait more then 5 years for that! Tell this to early adopters! They are probably buys right now with making billions, so they don't come to visit this forum so often anymore. Hodling is a word that have a meaning, its investment you believe in long run. You don't expect to get rich over night, you made a research, you analyzed the market, you understand its potential and you are ready to wait for years if you have to, and accumulate in the mean time.

Burning billions of coins draw attention on stellar, but is that enough for the price to rise? I don't think so, they will need to come up with something more then just burning coins. Stellar is a good project, its still being developed, once they finish with that we can see price rise, until then I don't expect nothing from stellar. What is good about stellar is that ath was just a dollar, so we will see will they be able to bounce back to dollars first and later to make some new ath.

You need to just hold some amount, and to have amount for smart holding, its just a name for trading strategy, buy low, sell high, and do it all over again when price movement allows you to do that. We can do 10 things at once, more or less, depends on your skills, and your bankroll. Crypto in general is full with possibilities, its on us how we will use them in our favor.
In some way you need to spread your activities, never relay on just one source of income, on just one investment. The more you can handle its better, in long term and short term.

What that means it will happen soon? Soon like next month, or in next couple months, or next year? People are just talking about indefinite dates, but nobody really knows when that price growth will come. Now some of us relay on price movement in the past, some people use different types of analyses, and each of us is free to believe in anything.
Crypto market is growing for years, sometimes that grow is fast, sometimes its slow, but I think that growth is visible to experienced eye. In one moment that growth will affect the prices. In my personal opinion that will not happen before 2021, maybe that year or after that, but until then we will be lucky to hold this price and eventually touch 5 digit price again.

I think that the secret of gambling is entertainment! You need to have fun while you gamble and spend your money, whether you win or lose in the end, what is count is did you have a good time or not! In my gambling experience who ever like to gamble have great nights, that counts for great wins and loses, when you had a good run or losing streak, gambler remembers both. After some time every great night becomes just a story for telling, and in secret you wish one more night like that, outcome is less important, its just a goal, but a path is what get's in your veins.

Majority still have closed minds, you are right about that. We can see many of them even here on the forum, to not mention the people outside crypto community. Some of the people around me are not aware of bitcoin, about crypto in general, what is it, and what it can do.
The most funny thing is how they give advantage to fiat, but in a fact they don't know much about fiat either. They don't know who print the money, they don't know much about supply and demand.
New generations, and by that I mean about kids under 10 years old, will change that. They are more into internet things already, and for them money on the internet means more than cash in the hand. At least its like that with the most kids I talk about and how they play fortnight or some other games, and they need money there to buy items, skins, etc.
