6001  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why should I use Kucoin over Binance? on: December 13, 2021, 03:50:09 PM
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Kucoin already mandates the KYC requirements? If my memory served me right, they ask me for a KYC before I can withdraw. That was a few months ago and I'm sure I remember it right.
Are you sure? AFAIK, they are still one of the exchanges that don't mandate it. Maybe for some cases since I've people telling that kucoin still don't require mandatory KYC and they still got a good limit from those unverified accounts.

There's no announcement from Kucoin yet that KYC is a compulsory thing, but since this is a centralized exchange, we better expect that they can require a KYC anytime and if we don't comply, they could freeze our account. So my choice would be Binance, getting fully verified before I start trading makes me feel comfortable and safe from any questions going further.
Yeah, anytime they can mandate that. But as far as I know, I haven't seen any announcement from them. I also prefer binance so for those that are in binance, kyc isn't a matter anymore since they're requiring it. Kucoin might also follow that decision of binance.
Whether there's no official announcement yet from the kucoin management, we just better be known and prepared that it's really going to happen.
6002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 13, 2021, 02:19:05 PM
What do you mean by pro league? Are they not pro league before? I'm just curious because MPBL is one of the popular basketball leagues in our country but I'm not so super sure about their status since I don't watch this league all the time.
Yes, that's what it is. You can read the article. (https://www.sunstar.com.ph/article/1915527/Cebu/Sports/MPBL-officially-now-a-pro-league)
I don't watch them too but I saw the news a few days ago and thought of sharing it here. Although this is a PBA thread and there's no MPBL thread so I think it's still related although a bit of off-topic since it's a different league.
6003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian Prime Minister Promoting Bitcoins Giveaway on: December 13, 2021, 11:32:36 AM
A scam. That's what the hacker did to several personalities after hacking their Twitter accounts. Posted some giveaways that would direct the readers to deposit to their bitcoin/ethereum address in the promise of a fixed amount of return.
I guess this won't let be passed by the prime minister of India after his account was hacked and used to a scam attempt.

Araneta tickets have been already shown how much they cost. The patron A will cost 375 only.
They've put down the prices so that everyone who wants to watch it live can afford it. I thought that they would be making the prices too expensive for them to recover but I was wrong with that expectation.
I still remember the time where we went in the MOA Arena for the first time to watch PBA game and that is SMB Vs. TNT. If I remember correctly, the price of ticket at that time is around 400-500 and we are at almost the uppermost part of the arena.

I think making the price of tickets cheaper will attract more people to watch the game. Its a win-win situation for both the PBA and the audiences. Since we are slowly recovering financially because of the pandemic, its understandable that there are some people who can't watch the games live because of the expensive tickets so to solve this problem, PBA made the tickets affordable for those people who wants to watch their games live. Well, I just hope that cheaper tickets will attract more people to watch live and I hope that I will be seeing more people in the arena than the previous years where there are only few people watching for some reasons.
Yes, it's actually a good decision from the PBA management to have it cheaper. There will be more fans that can avail it since everyone is starting to get up from this pandemic. It's really a 'we win as one' package for them. And on the other league, in the MPBL. It's now an official pro league, they'll be also having their games with an audience. So it's a total win for all of us basketball fans. We can go and watch any of the two if we happen to be closer in the venue.
6005  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Two Australian exchanges collapsed recently, remember to withdraw your bitcoin on: December 13, 2021, 08:30:34 AM
It is also best to remember to stick with the most reputable exchanges so that you have a guarantee that they won't just go out anytime without notice.
Because they are registered locally and they have a mandate to inform each of their users of what they're going to do like closure.
6006  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you have any favorite superstititions when trading crypto on: December 13, 2021, 02:40:13 AM
Do you have any favorite superstitions when trading crypto
like for example if you get off the bed on the right side of the bed, your coins won't dump
wearing this color shirt keeps your portfolio in the green
That's funny but whenever the market is dumping, I just go to sleep and think that when I wake up, the market has already been back on its surge.
But going beyond that belief, I don't have any aside from that and sleeping. On the other hand, if it's about gambling then I think I've got something to share but this discussion is just all about trading.
6007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Altcoin for December ? on: December 13, 2021, 01:23:03 AM
in december I am still holding altcoins like ETH, BNB, SOL, DOT, ADA and LTC, and it is very likely that I will keep them until the end of 2022, but I will always monitor other altcoins as well to be able to invest in this december boast , the coins that I'm currently analyzing are NFT, TERRA, and THETER games, maybe I will add these coins to my portfolio, because I see the coins are very potential,
What are these theter games? I've tried to search for them and just found out a different thing. Could you tell me more about these theter games?
Your set of coins that you're holding is all good but there's one that you're missing which is not an altcoin and that is bitcoin. A portfolio that has bitcoin is the best balancer of them all.
6008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrencies to invest in 2022 on: December 12, 2021, 11:51:46 PM
I think bitcoin, ethereum, and binance, will continue to dominate the crypto market in 2022 as users and demand for these coins continue to increase, so popularity will continue to grow in the crypto space, but I have a few other investment references that are good for 2022, among them, sol, dot, avax, luna, and matic, I see the development of the coin its from time to time is increasing, so I am very optimistic that 2022 this coin will shine.
If there will be a better coin than BNB then it will absolutely put that out. I'm just looking at the market and realized that several months and years ago, it was XRP that's on the top three. But look how far it was currently set although it's still under top 10. So if there's a new underlying exchange token that gives more utility than BNB then it shall be replaced and it's the same for ETH. But I think ETH is far from that.

That's a great news, the price is really affordable to anyone, and I'm pretty sure they'll easily sell that out as people are already excited to see live action again. If only I'm near to the place, I would surely not gonna miss the opportunity to see PBA games.
Yeah, I think that it will be going to be a sold out per game this time since many of us are looking for some recreational and sort of thing like this.
Well, we're all wishing that the PBA is going to recover after nearly 2 years of being affected by the pandemic and hopefully that this is already the start of everyone's recovery and now we're just going to watch out for transfers not only for the players to other teams but from PBA to another league.
Good timing because we are already in the holiday season, people are looking for fun and PBA is one of the many attractions. The current restriction status of our government paves the way for this kind of big event, and since they are back in a big arena, expect a lot of fans especially at the opening.

With this, we will once again hear the Ginebra chant from the fans.
Yeah, great timing, holiday and then lessen active covid cases. This also shows that we're close of going back to the normal. Although it's still needed to remember that there are active cases there.
People really needs this for the holidays and even after it. Also waiting for that cheer from the crowd and it's not just going to be the chant of Ginebra that we want to hear.
6010  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cryptocurrency trading is safe than forex trading on: December 12, 2021, 10:11:27 PM
I can agree with you.  I think forex will require your time to master some certain things . Forex is not what they rush into to invest it requires patience.
Both will require more of our time but about being complicated, it is somewhat needed to put more of your studying in forex.

I think Forex is not the only trade that needs to be studied with care or that is complicated, cryptocurrency, stocks and other tradable items are complicated and needs attention very well because they are both really volatile. Although there are instruments in Forex pairs that are less volatile but trading gold or silver against USD is certainly volatile just like btc paired with USD.
Well, you got it all right. Every market and its aspect shall be studied with care and all of them has to be prepared and not just go in without proper knowledge especially if the amount that you're investing is quite big.
Talking about forex as a whole, one can think that it's about the highly volatile pairs that everyone is making money since most of their ads are all about that but it's good to know that there are those lesser volatile pairs.

6013  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are new generation of investors more into gambling? on: December 12, 2021, 08:25:45 PM
I would agree that the people that I know trading in real life, they're exploring more with options since they think it's a way for them to become quickly wealthy.
We can't stop them until they realize that they've been hit hard and they've quickly losing money from it. But if they're good as the others who are making not just 10x but more than 100x then that's actually good for them.
6014  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: December 11, 2021, 09:49:20 PM
Kahit anong update basta nasa bear trend na tayo, mahihirapan talaga umangan ang SLP kaya goods naren na medyo nadelay yung Land update, they have to wait for the perfect timing para syempre mas gumanda yung value.

Still few, due to this pandemic, people are also concerned about Omicron, though there are also fans who missed the game,
those who already completed their vaccines and an avid fan of certain team or player, they will take chances to watch the game in a live set up.

Glad to see that PBA is now back at home with live fans to cheer and add the energy for the team to play harder.

PBA needs to do something as they got lots of losses from the last 2 years of pandemic, bubble setting ain't enough.
Well, we will see how welcoming the fans are with their back with the audience. About the 2 doses, it's actually expected that they won't allow any unvaccinated or incomplete vaccinated person on the live audience. This is going to be the new normal that events and places will require those 2 doses and even might be with a booster if the situation would be that bad. But I don't think that we'll be going there, the situation is starting to get lower and better this time.
They'll might create promos like barkada promos just to attract more watchers live.

Indeed, good thing that the booster shots will work because these shots were created in the first place before omnicron variant was born. The IATF should allow these because it's part of their plan to boost the economy again in the Philippines, but I think just a 70% capacity because we know that these PBA games are played indoor. As of now, Philippines is starting to gain back to normal and no reports of this new variant.
For that, I think the schedules will be intact and people are really excited to watch again, including me.
They do work and now that the news came about the PBA is coming back to the big dome after getting a permit from the LGU of Quezon City, well, that's what we've been talking about. The IATF has already given the signal and the LGU has already given the permission, this is good news. And those fans that are longing to watch it live will surely purchase tickets as soon as they saw it available. Well done, to the LGU and as well as government, not politicking anything but just appreciating what was done.

That's a wonderful time news since many people want to see an actual game then now is the time.
But besides that what happens to setting capacities is it still social distancing or not?
Cause is this case many people want to saw PBA games. And I think that as they came back to the some there's a new rules and policies inside the dome.
But I do hope in 2022 we will back to normal.some games of PBA Will not stay in one arena. Like before they play in different part of the Philippines.
It really is. Expect that every event that will happen at this time of covid-19, all of it are going to require proper and minimum health standards such as social distancing. I guess it will only happen if there are really few and isolated cases or there are no more. Despite many fans are wanting to watch it live, they're for sure know these minimum health standard requirements that they have to follow and comply. Well, everyone has been waiting for this to happen and there it goes.

That's what some newbies don't know about forex, they think they can easily earn in forex without learning.
Yeah, that's their misunderstanding about forex. They watch ads about forex as it explains how quick and easy it looks to earn with it. But in reality, it's harder than trading cryptocurrencies.
6019  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you make money day trading Bitcoin? on: December 11, 2021, 09:42:03 AM
Many people want to take advantage of Bitcoin's many opportunities. You may be confused, if you understand it once, then you can successfully get a considerable extra income from it. If you are considering using Bitcoin, then this will help you make money a lot.
It will make you money but refrain as if talking that there's an instant success with it in front of newbies.
There's something wrong with that explanation that makes the newbies too hopeful and gives them beyond optimistic belief on it in the short term.
Bitcoin is good as a long term investment but when it's to short term, you should be good as a day trader.
