It is, I personally had some topics which were moved from Mining to Alt Mining, and I abandoned those topics simply because they were moved to a shit place where nearly no real contribution would be added, same thing will happen should this topic get moved there or to services as you mentioned, anything mining related is always best suited right here for quality assurance, but of course, that is not possible. OP , I forgot to mention that there are a few Telegram mining groups, I won't tell you go to x group, but just have a look, i always see people offer their hosting services, you get at least get some info for a start. |

ملاحظة بخصوص النقطة التانية..لاجدوى فعلية من فصل الانترنت فقط عند انشاء البرافيت كي..البرمجيات التي تسرق كلمات السر و المفاتيح في حد داتها ليست برامج تخريبية..ولكن تقوم بتخزين بيانات معينة ومعاودت ارسالها عند توفر الاتصال بالشبكة.. الافضل هوا كما ذكرت انت في نفس النقطة وهوا استعمال جهاز لم يتصل بالانترنت اصلا.

فكرة جيدة جدا..ولكن في نظري الاسهل هوا ان تقوم بالبحت عن المشاريع الحقيقة بدلا من العكس..السبب هو ان اكتر من 90% من المشاريع الجديدة هيا scam.
ايضا يجب نقل هدا الموضوع لقسم العملات البديلة.

Is it possible that they changed something on a hardware level before shipping the miners? I mean something to block you from Sdcard flashing a firmware? By all means it is hard to believe that on a software level you can't replace the firmware, what happens when you hard reset it using the IP report?

55$ is equivalent to paying 0.06$ per kwh (assuming a9 with 1250w) more or less.
I doubt that you can find any host that will beat such a price, but it pretty much depends on what country/region you are looking for, and given the past stories of hosts run away with gears, i would be super careful before sending my gears to anyone.
Also there is a good chance this topic is going to be moved.

Do you mind explaining how did you come to know about the IP thing? I have nothing against you , but if anyone else (except an Admin) came up with that claim I will say they are trolling, until and unless proven otherwise, so i see nothing wrong with anyone thinking you were trolling and distracting the discussion.
Also assuming you are right about the Iogs, how is it related to him not receiving the same PM? I don't think Theymos uses and IP address to send a PM, he would simply get a list of all users who include the member he wanted removed and send them the same PM and that's all about it.
I can only think you were trying to change the direction of the topic to something else, i could be wrong but that will have to be explained.

I had a similar issue with a whole second hand batch of S9s, most had the 2017 firmware, the only way i could successfully flash them was to the reset using the IP report and then immediately flash the firmware i want, you need to do this like really quick, 5-10 seconds after it boots , let me know if this works for you too.
* don't reboot after you perfurm the IP report reset, the miner will reboot itself, get a new ip and starts workin, as soon as it shows on the network you want to rush to flah it.

اوافقك الراي من حيث المبداء..ولا اعتقد ان الادارة تمتلك اي وجه نظر اخرى حيال ما نعتقد نحن. المشكلة ليست في انشاء القوانين فالامر لا ياخد دقائق لكتابة لائحة من القوانين..المشكلة دائما في "تطبيق القوانين" او مايعرف ب law enforcement يوجد مئات من حملات الباونتي..الاف النصابين.. لكي تستطيع تطبيق القانون على كل هاؤلاء تحتاج لمئات من المشرفين..وهدا يحتاج لجهد وتكلفة عالية ليس بمقدور المنتدى تحملها. لاحظ ان القوانين الموجودة حاليا سهلة التطبيق..في الواقع قام احد الاعضاء بانشاء بوت قادر على كشف من يخالف القوانين..ولكن ان وجدت لائحة قوانين بخصوص الباونتي او البيع والشراء سيكون الامر شبه مستحيل .. ومن الحكمة انك لا تسن اي قانون انت غير قادر على تنفيده. وهنا ياتي دور نظام التقة ..الادارة صنعت هدا النظام ليقوم بمحاربة الاشياء التي لا تستطيع الادارة ان تحاربها. |

للاسف الشديد المحتوى الموجود في الاقسام الانجليزية ايضا ضعيف جدا من حيث الجودة..احيانا تمر ايام ولا اجد شي يستحق القراءة اصلا فما بالك بترجمته. القسم الوحيد المليء بالمعلومات المفيدة هوا قسم التعدين..وانا من اكتر الاعضاء نشاطا هناك ولكن لاحظت عدم اهتمام الاعضاء العرب بهدا المجال. على العموم ساحاول اني اجد مواضيع تستحق الترجمة في الايام المقبلة ونتشارك في ترجمتها معا بعون الله. |

كمترجم عادي يمكنك البدء بترجمة الأجزاء التي لم يتم العمل عليها بعد نعم اخي خالد الامر واضح ولكن هدا لم يوضع تساؤلي بالصورة الكافية.. فلنفرض مثلا اني كلانا بداء في ترجمة جزء معين..وقمت انا بتسليمه بعد يومين وانت قمت بتسليمه بعد تلاتة ايام..الن يكون جهد احدنا دهب سدا؟؟ مااقصده هوا وجود طريقة تنظمية مثل مايحدت في موضوع الترجمة الموجود هنا..كل شخص يختار الجزء الدي يريد ترجمته قبل العمل عليه..في هده الحالة لن يكون هناك redundant work. |

عدم وجود قوانين رادعة ضد المتحيلين نقطة ضعف في المنتدى حسب رأيي. على الأقل يجب التعامل مع الحالات الواضحة.
في الواقع العكس تماما هوا الانسب..في البداية كنت اشاركك نفس الفكرة..وقمت بانشاء اكتر من موضوع بالخصوص..ولكن بعد ان فهمت الغاية من عدم مكافحة الادارة للنصابين اقتنعت انه الروتين الحالي هوا الانسب. السبب يعود لوضع المستخدمين في حالة تأهب دائم.. ان كانت الادارة تحارب السكام يعني ان الزوار سيشعرون بالراحة ولن يكونو حدرين عند البيع والشراء. مثلا عندما انوي شراء شي من الامازون لا داعي لان اعرف من البائع..انا دائما متاكد اني ساحصل على المنتج الدي ادفع مقابله..لم افكر يوما ان يقوم البائع باخد المال والهرب..لاني اعرف ان الادارة تتكفل بمحاربة النصابين..لكن نظرا لان المنتدى غير مخصص للبيع والشراء..ولا ياخد نسبة من مبيعات التجار فلا يوجد هيكلية قابلة للتطبيق من حيث محاربة السكام. فالافضل هوا ان نخبر الناس ان المنتدى مليء بالنصابين ونحن لا نحاربهم مما يعني ان عليك ان تستعمل جميع حواسك وتقوم بالبحت العميق عن اي شخص تريد التعامل معه. |

يوجد رابط تجريبي للمنتدى الجديد القيد التطوير (ليس الاصدار الرسمي ).. لا اعرف اين هوا ساحاول البحت عنه ووضعه..في المجمل انا شخصيا افضل منظر smf الكلاسيكي بغض النظر عن التطورات الموجودة في الاصدار الجديد مثل ال drag n drop وغيرها.
اعتقد سيكون هناك ايضا ميزة 2 factor authtincation في التطوير القادم وهدا يعد لحد كبير من افضل التطويرات اما بخصوص الشكل فلم تعجبني الديزانيات الجديدة ابدا.

I have some of my gears on Slushpool havn't seen a problem in a long time, you could try the pools Bitmaxz suggested, currently I use Slushpool , Viabtc and Cksolo , non of them is having a bad time, the stale shares however can very well be a connection problem. i don't know about your networking background but you should monitor the packets going to and out of the miners , cables , latency and etc.. but all of this is not needed unless all the other pools mentioned here give you the same issue. Also always use a pool server closest to your location, you can ping the server using CMD with ping -t and let it run for 15 mins see if you get any packed loss or not. |
