6021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying low selling high ain't always successful on: February 27, 2020, 10:34:42 AM
Buying the dip has its bad side and that's unable to predict market movement You buy the dip, it goes dipper. You buy the high, it goes dipper, you convert to usdt, it starts surging ....I quit buying low selling high for now

That's one of the bad sides because there is no such thing as a sure investment, but the formula has been buying low and selling high and this will not change, it will just go wrong if you are not doing analysis and the market goes to the opposite and did not go to what you've expect to happen, but this has been the formula it will only go wrong to the investor who nade the decision.
6022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project's website is asking private keys of the holders. on: February 27, 2020, 06:06:20 AM

If the project will ask its holders of the token to copy-paste their private key in order to send  tokens, would you look at this as a fair project that the team won't be looking into the private keys of its users?  They even have a video tutorial on how to decrypt private key from the config file of their wallet that was installed in the phone. I'm not sure if this is something I would trust when private keys are suppose to be just for private.

Ever seen such project before where before you can send a token to another wallet, you will have to fill your private key first?

UPDATE: THE project is VOLENTIX.

It became worse when I just saw this today

After someone says he wants to take out the VTX out in the verto wallet the ADMIN asked WHY?

Private keys are private keys, we are talking about money and coins that you've invested with your hard-worked money, the explanation to give them your private key should be clear and everybody voted that the method is correct, remember bountyhunters.io has a huge issue on this and they are tagged as scammers I don't see any different on how they work.

6024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: February 26, 2020, 03:08:50 PM
Losing control while gambling is what makes it a threat when you do not how to stop and when to stop, this will make gambling a threat but if you can schedule your gambling activity and you only use money that is allocated for gambling only, this is fun and you will enjoy, winning or losing the game.

6026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to survive if you lose more than 80% of your Capital? on: February 26, 2020, 07:53:48 AM
Anyways past can't changed. If you are still try to keep you alive in crypto is keep calm, Trust in your choice, and HODL it. One more thing you should be in

There must be something on your trust, the project to be trusted there should be something on them that you will think that they can bounce back in any bad situation, so far only the top coins in the market has done, from these top coins you already have an idea, what to look for if you are going to add or dump coins that you are holding, you just don't hold coins just for FOMO.
6027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling on: February 26, 2020, 06:53:53 AM
I've used it to quit smoking by simply calculating the net loss so I'd say it works.
There are people who were helped by this method, and some others this method is useless, so we can say that this method works for others, so we can say that it will work, and people can try this, and see the results who knows this might work for you, you never know unless you try, this method is recommended by some experts but it still depends on the reaction of the gambler.

What do you think, will Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling?

6029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling or Casino gambling? on: February 25, 2020, 11:27:37 PM
I want to know what do you prefer between online gambling and casino gambling? Is it better for you to play online or land-based casino?

First things first, Online gambling happens through the use of the internet as simple as that, and casino gambling is no on the internet, so basically, it is the building or rooms for social amusements, where your body is required to play the gamble.

Let us consider the advantages and disadvantages of both kinds of gambling.
Online Gambling
Advantages
1. Convenience - You can play the game anywhere and anytime, and that is so good for some gamblers that they are the ones who decide when and where to start playing.
2. Promotion - there are a lot of gambling sites that give some promotion to their loyal users.
Disadvantages
1. Less communication - When you play online, you cannot communicate and socialize with anyone because there is no interactions happen.
2. The award or prizes - if you are playing online and you win the game, then you cannot claim the prize as soon as possible because it takes a process.

Casino Gambling
Advantages
1. Ambiance - When you play in the real casino, you will feel that you are really in the casino because of its ambiance.
2. Interaction - When you are playing in a real casino, of course, you will get interaction with some people there so you may have friends.
Disadvantages
1. Time Wasting -It is not like online games that you are responsible when and where to play the game, so in a real casino, you need to go to the casino to play the game.
2. Pressure - The pressure is there because you can see some reactions to your opponents.

These are what I know about the difference of Online gambling and casino gambling, so if you know more than that, you may comment on this post.

It's still going to the one playing where he is more comfortable online or casino gambling, there are players who wants to play when he wants to play and online casinos are a place where you can do that, on gambling casinos you have to travel and you will have a whole day or night spending on gambling casinos, whereas in online gambling you can just hit log off then you are out there.
6030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: February 25, 2020, 03:00:16 PM
I am currently thinking of making an experiment on my own, I have friends who are willing to lend me money for whatever purpose I like.
For this purpose, I like to use the money that I will borrow as the bankroll in sports gambling.

Anyone here have tried this? What can you recommend?

I don't recommend that you should only use your own money and only gamble with money that you can afford to lose, you will not lose the money that you loan but you could also lose your friends if you happen to lose the time that he lend you the money, even if they are willing I don't consider them as friend because they are luring you to gamble more which is not right.
6031  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk is racist on: February 25, 2020, 02:21:14 PM
They mentioned 95% what about those 5% that will suffer from their action, they should have treated it in a case to case basis, they just want to cut their payout, because they cannot keep up anymore with the growing number of new member, I will not be surprised if they lower the rate to 500 satoshis or they will only credit 10 to 20 posts, this is going to be a dying forum.
6032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: February 25, 2020, 12:08:48 PM
Why was Wilder not standing steadily after the 1st round? Was it the punch to the ear? The skeptical me reckons that someone put something in his water hehehe. Tyson Fury was also shown very relaxed before the fight and appeared to already know something hehehehee.
The excuse Wilder is claiming right now is that the walk out dress he was wearing was weighing 40 pounds and that tired his leg and so is the reason he was not able to perform  Cheesy. After a defeat a fighter will come up with a thousand excuses to feed his ego and if they fight ten times again Fury is going to win all the time.

Yeah, I also saw that video but I think he is trying to condition the mind of the boxing world that he wants to invoke the third match clause and he wants to sell the third fight this early, but I doubt it will sell because the loss is very fresh, the two knock downs and the bloodied Wilder is still fresh in the minds of the boxing world, he should take a break and fight a different fighter like Andy Ruiz so he can recover.
6033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOU need to Stop using YOUTUBE! come and check this new platform! on: February 25, 2020, 03:24:02 AM
You guys need to stop using Youtube, Lets start using the https://cos.tv/

About the project: https://www.contentos.io/

Why?  They give free crypto, its on the blockchain, working hard team!
They are ranked the 11473 on Alexa rank!
Fair system on approving the videos not centralized like youtube!
They pay u to watch video, to like and subscribe just amazing....

I don't see any compelling reason why I need to stop using Youtube, all the best global and local news are all here I can add more Youtube related websites but when it comes to stopping there is no way I would do that, that is not a good way to promote  Cos.tv when it is not yet really mainstream and lacks a lot of major networks and channels on it, but I will be interested to look on it but when it comes between choosing between the two I have no problem retaining Youtube.
6034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a spreadsheet for you wins and losses for tax purposes? on: February 25, 2020, 02:36:46 AM
While ago it just hit me when i won more then usual that in the future if bitcoin goes parabolic, these wins in btc can be huge and i have to tell my banker where i got the money from and i guess i have to keep how much i spend it to make it for tax purposes too.

I was thinking that i need to start to keep a journal/spreadsheet on my wins and losses soon. I've been stalling and avoiding it because i might not like what i see, i don't even know if i am on the plus side anymore. I am not sure how crypto gambling taxes go in here but i thought that it wouldn't hurt to have a record of my transactions in it while i am studying it.

So, i guess my question is that are you keeping a track of your wins and losses and for what purpose are you doing that?

It never crossed my mind to create a record or journal of my wins and my losses, if I do that I'm pretty sure I will be disappointed because I have more losses than my winning I will see my huge losses and my small amount of earnings after I gamble, I just move on and tried to forget my winnings and my losses, in the first place I have a good source of income for my tax income declaration I have not made a decent earnings from gambling so no profit can be derived there.

My invite fails in the validation period, although he passed the test in the IDENA flip challenge, his complaints is the time to finish the flips on the first course which is only 2 minutes, is there a way to extend the time to at least 5 minutes, I myself almost run out of time because I have to make a choice 23 seconds per flip, I'm sure there are people with similar experience.

I managed to complete the first flip phase for 1 minute and in my opinion it was very easy, sometimes indeed what made the flip so confusing that we had to think long to choose.

People are not the same when presented in a situation that is new to him, maybe my friend will better the next time because he will check what went wrong, I'm willing to give him another chance but my invitation will go to my cousin who is very interested, I hope they take my suggestion to lengthen the first verification to at least 4 minutes.
6036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Have You Started Gambling Because You Want To Be Part Of A Gambling Campaign on: February 24, 2020, 04:09:35 PM
Have You Started Gambling Because You Want To Be Part Of A Gambling Campaign or you are already a gambler and wants to be part of a gambling campaign, in my case I come to play gambling because I want to become a part of a gambling campaign, so far this is my 6th gambling campaign and I still continue gambling because I want to continuously involved in gambling campaign.

6038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: February 24, 2020, 01:30:27 PM
What we need to see now is a unification bout between Fury & Joshua. Wilder was outclassed so a trilogy fight between him & Fury is of no interest to me.

Let’s see the fight between the two heavyweight belt holders to unify the division.

I really think that this fight should happen, because people will continue to question Joshua's reputation because he has not fought something as big as Fury and someone as strong as Wilder, no question Fury is the lineal champion for winning all the belts on all existing boxing organization, but a third rematch was invoked by Wilder's camp, so we'll see what's coming up in the heavyweight division.
6039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Compulsive gambling. on: February 24, 2020, 01:11:50 PM
There are so many gamblers in this virtual world. Some can still control themselves, and there are also who can not control themselves when they are already in the form of the long table with a full of card any bet of different gamblers, and those are considered as Compulsive gambling.

First things first, compulsive gambling is the uncontrollable eagerness on gambling, even though you keep on losing the game, you forgot to do some valuable things than gambling and forgetting to spend your spare time with your family and in a way that you don't mind how much money you spend and how much money you already to the game.

There are times that whenever your family and your friend advise to you about stopping on gamble, you keep on ignoring them, you do not listen to them anymore even though they care so much to you and when you deny them then you may consider yourself having a compulsive gambling disorder, you don't care anymore to anyone, the only thing you want is gambling.
I suggest that if you feel that you are like that, you may visit some professionals to help you.

Handling too much of that they could handle and gambling money that they can't afford to lose are two things that drive a compulsive gambler to continue gambling, there's no turning back because they know so much about gambling and they think that they have the best strategy so they continue to bet and roll the dice thinking the next roll is their ticket to recover all their losses, they are not going to realize how to stop they need outside help, from family and close friends whom they can trust.
6040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For those who wears a signature of gamble service campaigns on: February 23, 2020, 04:07:30 PM
Guys, I think most participants here wears a signature os a campaign, and most of them are for gamble services

My question is: Do you spend the money you gain with the service you are working for?

Sometimes I do some gamble, and I always prefer to spend the money on the website that are paying me, I think it's fair and a way to say thanks  Grin

You should allocate some portion although it's not obligatory just a recommendation, you need to keep up to date on the latest gambling methods strategies and of course, you must have a motivation of a gambler for you to participate in the discussion, you cannot give a good input without experiencing how to gamble.
