6021  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: June 06, 2016, 01:35:45 PM
It is a good way to earn money. For I cant use it that fast. I need to cash it out in a bank first before I can get it. So laziness is the key. Too lazy to withdraw it. So better put my excess money in bitcoin investment then let it gain something.
6022  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: June 06, 2016, 01:33:39 PM
To grow the adoption of bitcoin we need people spending it as a daily currency.
In my country there is not much I cant buy with bitcoins.
Granted not a lot of retailers accept BTC yet but with all the services available now they dont need to.
A bitcoin debit card can be very handy.

Nowadays if I need to pay a bill then I can pay any bill via a site called livingroomofsatoshi

Please list any reasons why you could not use bitcoin for day to day expenses and maybe we can find a way.

Yeah, in Australia you can definitely pay all your bills via Living Room of Satoshi. It's actually quite simple.

I agree with you that we need to use bitcoin as a daily currency in order to make it grow more substantially. But using a bitcoin debit card doesn't help - because you're technically still spending fiat currency. Only when you're spending bitcoin itself does it affect bitcoin communities in a positive way.

I get that. Still like a credit card. Where you spend it by putting your fiat in a card. Credit card is just different because the banks are paying the initial payment and you would pay them later. Better just put all bitcoin in a wallet then use the online website when paying.
6023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Banks Hates Bitcoin? on: June 06, 2016, 01:22:31 PM
maybe because bitcoin gives us transparency on the network we can clearly see where and who is sending the coin and not only that we can sell the whole chain we can see anyones balance and even can see all the other details like his transaction record etc we can do everything excet the ownership on anybodys coin which bank will not provide even after 10years

Good point. Transparency is good for we want to know who are the top owners and how they do that. If those are reach people then good if not then it is questionable. Other thing is investing here is money growing up in a faster way.
6024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where and how much bitcoin you spent today? on: June 06, 2016, 01:15:28 PM
Spent some buying another coin from yobit and used it for gambling at dice.  Grin I am way better using those altcoins as a means of gambling than bitcoin itself.
6025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: June 06, 2016, 01:14:20 PM
Good thing I didnt withdraw my coins last Friday.  Grin Huge increase from that point and many are still buying. It is a good sign after all. But it is scaring the hell out of me. I dont know why.
6026  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: June 06, 2016, 04:22:32 AM
My friend is the one who invited me in using bitcoin  in early 2015, He thought me how to use it and how to earn it. Im inspired by him cause he bought many gadgets by using bitcoins.
yeah if every user can invite their friends to join in bitcoin there may be many new adopters are joining and bitcoin and users has reached hundreds of millions people, or maybe more.. a lot of people are interested because they see others people make a profit. maybe you can tell your friends by that way

I got a lot of friends who sees me doing it and yet I dont know what is stopping them to join in the bitcoin community. I let them see how much I earn to make them envy me and yet I cant get them join me
6027  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: June 06, 2016, 04:19:45 AM
What i like best in bitcoin is the price for each bitcoin and and you can earn bitcoin freely, not like other digital currencies, you only can buy it with your money, can't earn it freely.
Yes true in bitcoin we could get free money and a lot of ways to get it.
Prices were always improving also one of the things that I like in bitcoin.

Yeah thanks to a lot of advertisements we can earn it free true faucets. We can also do trades in a fast way to gain more profits. Bitcoin price increase is a plus.
6028  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: June 06, 2016, 04:16:46 AM
Well if im asked to pick in Bitcoin or Gold I will choose Bitcoin because bitcoin don't need space to store you can store it on online wallet unlike Gold that needs space to be stored.  Grin

Well that space will be worth it in times of emergency. Gold is a fast way to be sold or pawned in case you need money. You dont need to go online to do that. Even your neighbor would want your gold.
6029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to teach someone about Bitcoin on: June 06, 2016, 04:07:31 AM
What I'm trying to do now is to introduce my wife slowly into the concept of earning bitcoin. That's the most effective way I could find in making her know how bitcoin works. I have recently told her about faucets and she is slowly starting to appreciate those little things. I will then let her know about bitcointalk so she could familiarize herself with what's going on in the bitcoin community. If she eventually participates in signature campaign, I hope she gets to read this and see how much she has learned about bitcoin.

Faucet is a good start. Even if it just have low free satoshis it is still free. Bitcoin price is so high now so those low free satoshis are worth it. She will still feel some money moving. Better than dollar ptc.
6030  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: June 03, 2016, 01:43:56 PM
Until today, I still believe Bitcoin as the first virtual currency in the world that is a trend. Bitcoin is still young and still have a chance for bitcoin to keep growing.

Yes, a long way to go and there will be more that will adapt it. Upgrade is needed for those who are still in rural places for it to be reached by this great currency. I believe I am going to see the great future of this currency.
6031  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: June 03, 2016, 01:22:44 PM
Just hold unto them until the halvening happens, or join a fresh revshare company and expect to make at least some profits there.

I am at $380 when I bought bitcoin so I guess doubling it didnt happen yet and it takes a lot of time. I would rather do trading that wait for so long. I dont have that lot of coins so I wont feel that much of profit in the doubling that you are saying. But if I can gain more while waiting then that would be better.
6032  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: June 03, 2016, 01:16:59 PM
Low transaction fees and no chargebacks as all payments are irreversible.

Actually that is the downside of bitcoin. The irreversible thing, you cant get wrong in every transaction you make for you cant get it back anymore. I dont think there is a cure for that and we should just be careful in the digits that we input
6033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PWR] POWERCOIN - Distributed Computing made easy [NOW TRADING] on: June 02, 2016, 09:21:43 AM
Saw this on yobit waiting for its price increase. Bought some of it and hoping it will increase in 24 hours.
6034  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: June 02, 2016, 08:30:50 AM
never sell your bitcoins

i promise bitcoins price will always increase

You are right, if you afford to hold your bitcoin then it is better and wait for the price that can satisfy your rate.
But that is for sure that bitcoin will just rise and rise in the future.

If you can. But dont go risking other things that you want just because you want to profit more for the increase. That might take a week or a month. We dont know when. So when needed better use it also.
6035  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: June 02, 2016, 08:28:38 AM
It's so hard to use bitcoins in real life, it's not accepted even by online shops, in physical shops i can't imagine bitcoins, so no , i am not using bitcoins in real life.
I think it's on line shop. started many stores that accept bitcoin as a payment option. I know you rarely see online store. so you never see that bitcoin accepted in various online shop.
I'm sure more time. will start a lot of stores that will accept bitcoin as a payment option

Change it to fiat.
We have same problems here. Cant spend it physically. Yeah of course we want to try it. We want to feel the essence of what we worked for or bought for. But it is not yet at that level. So let us just be patient and maybe someday we will use it normally at physical shops.
6036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: June 02, 2016, 08:26:53 AM
I am confused owner of PayPal, Peter Thiel mentioned that Bitcoin has the potential to change the world? but why not accept the paypal deposit methods with bitcoin? is it give advantages for both right?
I think the paypal and bitcoin can do cooperation. This will provide benefits for both

Really he has said that? If he said that then yeah, why not he will not try to consider paypal to bitcoins or bitcoin to paypal methods deposit and withdrawal. Maybe he is just getting the people cent regarding bitcoin.
Or he is just getting sympathy so that Paypal users won't shift to bitcoin.

If he really said that then I think he dont want people to get confused with bitcoin. Still make Paypal as a dollar transaction and maybe he can create another website for bitcoin.
6037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: June 02, 2016, 08:25:13 AM
Hate?hmm not really i've seen more suspiciousness than hate people are always afraid of everything new.
every new thing will let people scare  Cheesy

There is this feeling on being afraid of the unknown that is why they dont want it. A best example would be putting your hands inside a sealed box with just a hole for your hand. The unknown and new that we dont want to take confront or take risks. We want somebody else to start first before we go.
6038  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: June 02, 2016, 05:38:19 AM
You should never sell your bitcoins because the bitcoin has a very good future a head this year and its not smart because of that to sell them.
You can better now have some patience and wait for the halving.

Or. You could make it larger buy abusing the fluctuation. Risky but still there is profit when you can predict where it might go. Just rotting it in a wallet is a turtle way to get profit. If you got a large amount of bitcoins then you can do the rotting thing.
6039  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: June 02, 2016, 05:36:15 AM
I think that bitcoin is gonna be a good currency to use, maybe we will see more people who using bitcoin after halving, people should understand that bitcoin have a big future.

Could be. There could be some news regarding this after halving thing and that could lead to a good advertisement and people might want to try it if it goes to a really good price though.
6040  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: June 02, 2016, 05:34:22 AM
I go fo GOLD,
Gold is jewelry and jewelry is always appreciating unlike bitcoin is not that stable and there is always a fluctuation on its price.
But you also have a profit in bitcoin specially in trading.

well for me i appreciate bitcoin more than gold.  the good thing about gold is they last forever unlike bitcoin when you lost your wallet they are lost forever.

You got that right. Grin For a bitcoin starter and never got in to gold then it is really bitcoin which they will pick. But if you invested in gold from the start you would really pick that one. Gold jewelries can help in just manner of time. In emergency you could pawn it or even sell it to a human to human trade which is really the faster way. For they know that gold is valuable. Try doing that using bitcoin you will be denied.
