Let's just forget about this Stokes episode and move ahead. A lot of exciting cricket is happening right now and in my opinion, we should not let the Stokes scandal divert the subject. The 4-day match between India A and South Africa A has ended in a draw. During the last day, Priyank Panchal scored a century and Karun Nair ended up with an unbeaten 51. However, one of the players who have been shortlisted for the senior side (Abhimanyu Easwaran) failed in both the innings.

Do you think that your HST coin can go to the moon?, hey wake up dude.. your coin is a shit coin. It is really bad decision that you invested a shit coin. Better to invest in ETH, sell your all HST and buy ETH you really can make profit for sure.

Check his post history. He has created dozens of threads in various sections of this forum, in a desperate attempt to pump his shitcoin (HST token). People needs to understand that spamming the forum will never work in favor of the shitcoin. If they really want to promote the coin, then they needs to spend some money and effort, in organizing bounty campaigns or give-aways.
6023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Otto Wallins on: September 20, 2019, 02:44:26 PM
@Vishnu.Reang. Fighters will talk, however, negotiations will make the fights hard to organize. There might not be a fight between Tyson and Deontay until 2021, I reckon. This might become the new Money Mayweather versus Pacman 2, coming soon hehehehe.

2021 is too far and I don't think that both Fury and Deontay Wilder will wait for that long. For Deontay, the fight against Fury is going to bring revenues like no other fight. So I really doubt whether he will wait any more than 6-7 moths. Fury also doesn't have any better options. His recent fights have been against mediocre opponents. He also needs a quality rival, such as Deontay.
6024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM ICOs, what we can do? on: September 19, 2019, 06:18:57 PM
The best thing to do is to avoid blind investment in to ICO. We should ensure we read the project's whitepaper and as well research the authenticity of the team. We should avoid and regard any project foresight that seems to good to be true.

A lot of people still get fooled by the tall claims and glitzy websites and social media channels. Back in 2017, a lot of ICOs gave good returns for the investors. Those who benefited back then still dream about hitting the jackpot again with the current bunch of ICOs. The problem is that they refuse to admit that the circumstances have changed.
6025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 18 months on .... im one of the 99% on: September 19, 2019, 06:13:39 PM
There are ups and downs with every form of investment. Back in 2017, the returns from altcoins were much higher than that of Bitcoin. But in the succeeding year, Bitcoin went down mildly when compared to the heavy losses for altcoins. Now it can go either way. We need to remember that many of the altcoins are already down by as much as 90% from their ATH.
6026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano now will able of recover the majority of previous Bear on: September 19, 2019, 06:08:57 PM
I see no concrete reason to believe in the new success of this coin. It seems to me that a miracle will not, and the coin just stays where it is now.

Cardano lost almost 98% of its value in 2018, and I would consider it as one of the biggest failures for last year. But I still have some hope for Cardano. Talking about the technology, Cardano is one of the most advanced cryptocurrencies out there. And with the arrival of the Yoroi lite wallet, they have resolved one of the most irritating and persisting issues that impacted the acceptability and popularity of Cardano.
6027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Otto Wallins on: September 19, 2019, 06:05:17 PM
Anyone got a date for the Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder rematch? There was a statement by Deontay after Fury won the fight against Wallin. According to him, his next fight is going to be against Luis Ortiz (rematch) by the end of this year and after that he is going to take on Fury (probably around February 2020). After the fight against Fury, Wilder will be up against Andy Ruiz Jr.

Alright, thanks. I googled a bit and found that article. I personally think that The Sun is not lying here when it says that they took permission from Stokes' family before publishing that article, as Ben Stokes has remained absolutely silent regarding that sentence of the article till now. I hope that he replies soon if it's a lie.

The Sun is one of the largest media mouthpieces in England. In normal cases, I would never expect them to publish something as sensitive as this article, without looking in to the legal and ethical aspects. I am 100% sure that they made sure that they will be able to defend themselves before deciding to print this piece of news.
6029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 19, 2019, 05:53:16 PM
Finally Sri Lankan team coming to Pakistan to play ODIs and T20s. This will resume international cricket back in Pakistan.  Smiley

Nice to hear that after a long wait, it is now possible for the Pakistani cricket fans to watch international cricket. Hopefully, a successful tour by Sri Lanka will remove the doubt from the minds of the other cricket boards and I hope they will also agree to tour Pakistan. The PCB need revenues badly, and it looks like they will get a breather from the Sri Lankans.
6030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Hits $270: $300 Next? on: September 18, 2019, 04:37:48 PM
IMO, Ethereum will not recover fully unless something positive happens with the ICO market. But there is good news for those users who are holding Ether in their wallets. During the past 6-7 days, the exchange rates have increased by around 25% (from $170 to $213 per coin). The trade volumes are also showing considerable uptick across the exchanges.
6031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins have been around from the start on: September 18, 2019, 04:34:44 PM
Shitcoins come in all sizes and shapes. But in some rare cases, shitcoins can give good returns for the investors. A perfect example is that of Dogecoin. It was created by Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer just for time pass, but the popularity of the coin exceeded their expectation and currently it is having a market cap of $337 million. It made a lot many users filthy rich.
6032  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin eventually disappear... on: September 18, 2019, 04:27:27 PM
All efforts that tend to diminish the domination of bitcoins so far has been proved futile. The more they try to supress btc the more giant it grows.

Please check the charts. The dominance has decreased by more than 4% during the last 7-8 days from 71.5% to 67.2%. I am not sure whether this spike will continue in the near future, but this is the biggest jump in altcoin market share so far this year. And it happened very quickly as well. For me, it looks like a temporary spike and I expect the dominance to go back to 70% plus within the next few weeks.
6033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 18, 2019, 04:21:04 PM
It is going to be easy for India. They just need 54 runs more, from 8 overs (with eight wickets remaining). Virat is out there with an unbeaten 37, and I guess he'll get India home without much effort. The South Africans should do some introspection. Against a second string Indian attack, they were unable to make a total of 150 runs.
6034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 18, 2019, 04:15:35 PM
^^^ If this story was published without the permission from Ben Stokes, then I would sympathize with him. But it looks like the Sun had sought prior permission from Stokes and at no point of time he objected to the story being published in the tabloid. I don't know who is saying the truth and who is lying. But in case the tabloid had his prior approval, then Ben has no reason to complain.

He was contacted prior to publication and at no stage did he or his representatives ask us not to publish the story.
6035  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance legally registered at U.S, does Bitcoin will get increase? on: September 17, 2019, 06:13:00 PM
OK... so this is the reason why the altcoins went up by so much today. Now the American users can use Binance to purchase or sell their altcoins. Many of the coins (such as Ethereum, Litecoin and Ripple) have gone up by upto 15% during the past 24 hours. Bitcoin dominance has also come down from 71.7% to 68.2%, which represents a decline of 3.5% in one week.
6036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin market dominance rising fast? on: September 17, 2019, 06:09:05 PM
A sharp bull run has started now and many of the altcoins have gone up by 5% to 10% against Bitcoin. Ethereum has once again breached the 0.020 BTC level, after reaching a low of 0.016 BTC a few days back. I am not sure about the reason behind this sudden jump, but it looks like this time the altcoin spike is going to stay. Even coins such as TRX and XMR are going up after the recent bloodbaths.
6037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are IEO's bad? on: September 17, 2019, 06:04:25 PM
IEO is not bad, it's just that there are too many exchanges that make lunchpad. so investors are confused about which exchange they want to use. especially now that new projects prefer IEO, to collect development funds rather than ICO. too many exchanges and new projects. this is the problem now, because only IEO in the large exchange has a chance of success.

If you want to go for the larger exchanges, then be ready to pay huge amounts as listing fee. Exchanges such as Binance and Huobi are asking insane amounts as listing fees. From what I have heard, Huobi is charging a few million USD per listing and the fee charged by Binance is in the same range. And the promoters will be losing this amount if the fundraising ends in failure.
6038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Privacy coins getting delisted on: September 17, 2019, 05:59:32 PM
Nothing unexpected here. We can't really blame the exchanges as well. The authorities are cracking down on cryptocurrency exchanges all around the world and the remaining ones are forced to implement stricter KYC requirements. The conversion of privacy coins to BTC/USD (and vice versa) is being actively monitored and some of the exchanges are puling out as it is causing too much trouble for them.

I don't remember the last time a teenager made international debut for Australia. Even Ricky Ponting was 20-years old when he made his test debut back in 1995. Their first class cricket is also aging, and the senior sides usually don't field any teenagers (on the other hand in India and England, you can find so many teenagers representing the domestic sides).

Guess you forgot Matt Renshaw. he was 20ish when he played his first Test Match for Australia.

It is very surprising that none of you remember Pat Cummins. He was 18 years and 193 days, when he made his debut against South Africa at Johannesburg in 2011. He made his first class debut for Tasmania at the age of 17. Normally Australian first class sides doesn't regularly feature teenagers, but Tasmania with its limited player pool sometimes give chances to younger players.
6040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 15, 2019, 08:02:14 AM
The partnership between Denly and Stokes was the turning point. For the first time in this series so far, the Australian bowlers (including Cummins) were looking quite ordinary. Perhaps they were relaxed after leveling the series. Anyway, now it is going to be extremely difficult for them to win this test as the target is going to be above 400.
Observed that too. Its like a see-saw at this point(English bowlers vs Australian bowlers). I think we can all agree that choosing England to win(Draw no bet) has a 99% win percentile rate at this point.

And I am quite sure that one man army of Smith can't get to a total of above 300 in reply.
If Smith and Warner get going, anything is possible. It comes down to whether Archer and the other English bowlers can keep regularly plucking away their wickets. Anything can happen in such high stakes test matches(Example: Recent English win).

Surprising to see that you still expect Warner to perform, after he failed to even make a total of 100 runs during his past 9 innings. Anyway, even if Australia is not serious about this test (they have already retained the Ashes), the 4th innings is going to be extremely crucial for Warner. It is his last chance. If he fails this time as well, then I expect the selectors to kick him out of the test side (and given his age, any chances of a comeback looks slim).
