6041  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Kialara Physical Bitcoins/HAVEN: Update on: December 23, 2014, 09:53:07 PM
I have received the case and my Kialara just barely fits into it. However, it looks great! Grin

6042  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [FULL][GROUP BUY][EU] Kialara Physical Bitcoin [ESCROWED] on: December 23, 2014, 09:30:06 PM
I have sent everyone their tracking code. I hope it arrives quickly for you all (or at least in a decent amount of time).
6043  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [FULL][GROUP BUY][EU] Kialara Physical Bitcoin [ESCROWED] on: December 23, 2014, 08:41:28 PM
Thanks guys. That means a lot to me!

I have started writing down all the Track & Trace numbers, which isn't as fun as it sounds. Hahaha.

-snip-
As my shipping costs are lower than expected, I hope you could buy yourself a beer (maybe small one) for remaining money from postage.
So any leftovers are mine to keep? Is that what you mean? I still need to figure out how much everyone gets back, can be a pretty decent amount.

I wish you, Max, devthedev and all Kialara EU group buy participants Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2015.      Grin
Thank you, you too! Wink
6044  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining job for an IT pro? on: December 23, 2014, 06:26:19 PM
The position I'm considering is in a decent sized datacenter.  The money is pretty good for the location, and the location is pretty much where I want to be (just one county away).  I'm just not sure that it would present a sufficient challenge to keep me interested and afford me the opportunity to maintain and improve my skills.

Many people are happy being drones, doing the same thing day after day without change.  Dear old dad worked the Post Office for 35 years.  I could never do that.  I like network and systems because there's always something to upgrade, as everything is new every couple of years, and I enjoy making sure that the routers and switches do their jobs, keeping the servers up and running, ensuring that everything is backed up, and that the software stays patched and is kept up to date.  Once or twice a year, a massive project comes up as either the swtiches, routers, servers, or softwares come to the end of life and have to be replaced, upgraded, or moved around.

In the bitcoin mine, you're talking about a raspberry pi, a custom rom of linux that someone else has provided for you.  As new ASICs come in, they get installed.  As old ASICs die, they get replaced.  As we run out of room, slow ASICs get replaced by new ASICs.  The network seems like it would be pretty flat.  With thousands of machines all doing the same thing, there's very little need to do much more than plug them in and provide them with an address.  It just sounds so tedious.
Well, I would do it to be honest. I mean, it might be tedious, but you could do a lot of different stuff in your spare time. You could try and improve existing miners (like Wolf0 does) or just invest your own Bitcoins in Altcoins and start trading them, that will suck up a lot of your spare time.

The real question is, do you have currently have a job or anything holding you back? If not, why not do it, see how it goes. You can always go back.
6045  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [FULL][GROUP BUY][EU] Kialara Physical Bitcoin [ESCROWED] on: December 23, 2014, 05:57:03 PM
I just returned from the post office and everything went a bit differently than expected. The people at the post office advised me to get a envelope with bubble wrap inside because it's a lot cheaper, so I went with that. However, this meant that I couldn't get Track & Trace without it being Registered and vice versa. Soooo, I selected Registered and Track & Trace for everyone. This means that the shipping prices changed to €11 for everyone outside The Netherlands and €7.95 for those who live in The Netherlands. If anyone has a problem with this, please tell me and I will try to compensate you as good as possible.
I will PM everyones Track & Trace number in a bit.

Once again, I apologize for all the changes that have happened in this group buy. It's my first one and I have learned a lot from it. Everything should be peachy next time I do one. If people trust me enough to let me do another one.

EDIT1: Drax, I will get your coin shipped as soon as I have your shipping details
EDIT2: The estimated shipping price was €180.7 (without Drax), but I only paid €111,85 because I went with the bubble wrap envelope.
6046  Economy / Digital goods / Re: I buy old empty addresses for 2% of what they used contain. on: December 23, 2014, 02:41:25 PM
I know what your purpose. hahaha.  Grin
Well, do tell. I'm guessing CLAMS, but I'm not sure.
6047  Economy / Digital goods / Re: I buy old empty addresses for 2% of what they used contain. on: December 23, 2014, 02:25:09 PM
Why would you pay so much?
6048  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: December 23, 2014, 01:29:17 PM

6050  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [FULL][GROUP BUY][EU] Kialara Physical Bitcoin [ESCROWED] on: December 23, 2014, 09:58:38 AM

6051  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: SELL Lvl 35 PRIMEDICE ACCOUNt (50+ BTC WAGERED) on: December 23, 2014, 08:46:03 AM
Why would anyone want to buy a PD account..? Could someone explain that to me?
6052  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [FULL][GROUP BUY][EU] Kialara Physical Bitcoin [ESCROWED] on: December 23, 2014, 08:44:05 AM
I called UPS yesterday and they don't do evening deliveries in my area (such bullshit), so I talked with my boss and I'm working from home today. I will be able to accept the package today and I will try and send everything out today as well. I apologize that you all had to wait one more day and I will include something small as a way to say sorry.
6053  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Christmas Giveaway [Signup Starts Tomorrow][Donate Today] on: December 22, 2014, 07:51:40 PM
That's fine I'll just tell you who to send to when I raffle them out.
Sounds like a deal to me Wink

Also would be nice to know how would the gifts be given away.
Or how the raffle process would work.
My donations are Humble Bundle gift links. You simply open them, connect your Steam account and the game will be gifted to you. Pretty easy and straightforward. I love it. Grin
6054  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Christmas Giveaway [Signup Starts Tomorrow][Donate Today] on: December 22, 2014, 07:34:02 PM
All above gifts accepted, will list them when I'm on my computer. Please message me with the keys and whatnot also tell me if the steam games are region restricted.

Tree gifts limited to members+ now.
Is it okay if I give the links to people? Just to be sure that nothing bad can happen to them. I'm not accusing or implying anything and I'm sorry if you find this offensive, but I prefer to be safe than sorry.
6055  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Christmas Giveaway [Signup Starts Tomorrow][Donate Today] on: December 22, 2014, 07:20:59 PM

  • Alien Breed Complete Pack
  • Hammerwatch
  • SteamWorld Dig
  • Superfrog HD

6056  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake feedback by WhatsBitcoin on: December 22, 2014, 06:56:35 PM
Looking at your comments even if he did leave you that feedback wrongly, you are a blatant liar and plus looking into this site for awhile there is nothing wrong with buying accounts if all he is doing is using them to participate in signature campaigns.
There is no rule against it, no. But it's frowned upon and I am one of many users who think it's a bad thing to do and leave feedback accordingly.

You obviously lie:

"Quote from: WhatsBitcoin on December 21, 2014, 06:50:54 AM
Your rating is abusive as I said before and with no evidence supporting your claim. If you must make a post, it should at most be neutral saying caution not negative.
It's not abusive and I don't need any evidence to support my claim. You have given me all the evidence I need. You have admitted to use a bought account, I don't trust people who use bought accounts and my negative is there to stay."

To which you then say to try and get the hearts of people and win people over to your side, here:

"I was considering changing it into a neutral, but now I won't do shit. Wink"
Are you suggesting that I can't change my opinion? There is a day between that message and this thread and I wanted to change my feedback, because a negative is quite harsh. When I went to his trust page to change it, I saw that he left me a neg. feedback and decided against it. I'm not lying, but thank you for implying that.

Pretty shitty on your side in the first place. It was wrong of him to post that if you didn't actually ever scam but I see why hes so angry. You're a blatant asshole in your PMs alone when in his PM to you he was angry but not aggressive or insulting, he was professional about it. You laugh at him and are a dick back for no reason.
Yes, I was an ass, why wouldn't I be? I got pissed off because he called me abusive and unfair, like he got pissed because of my negative feedback. If his first message towards me would have been different, this could have gone differently.

I mean, this isn't the first time I neg. rated someone because of stuff like this and it isn't the first time that I have changed my opinion about someone or something. I'm a reasonable guy.

EDIT: Also, I'm pretty certain that you are WhatsBitcoin, seeing that you created this account today, only posted here and the fact that your name could reference to me being crazy.
6057  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake feedback by WhatsBitcoin on: December 22, 2014, 06:38:15 PM
How does it matter? The trust isnt visible by default.
the trust rating comes on untrusted feedback  and so it doesnt matter much.
Like I said, I don't care that it's on my page. It's just very handy to have a thread at your disposal that you can send to someone if he/she asks about it.

I don't care about this neg. feedback, just letting you all know what happened.
6058  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling Vietnamese teas - 32 different teas in 1 gift set on: December 22, 2014, 03:05:30 PM
why did you create second thread for the same item?
One is an auction and one is a regular selling thread. Not that hard to grasp.

Well, dammit. They tried to deliver it when I'm at work. I will contact UPS to see if they can do the delivery of tomorrow in the evening.
6060  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake feedback by WhatsBitcoin on: December 22, 2014, 09:40:52 AM
the feedback system needs to be fixed its so bad
Well, it's not that bad, but some people do abuse it, yes.
