Sure, but is the problem solved? Someone redrawing such amounts of money is ofcourse not something you'd want as a business Tongue

It was actually fixed some hours after someone noticed foo was probably using an exploit.

Here's Ryan's response from few pages back.

Sorry guys, I was asleep! Thanks for letting me know. Foo did find an exploit, and was kind enough to reveal it. I have quickly pushed up a fix, and purged Foo's games from the database to preserve meaningful stats.

Foo used quite a clever exploit in some what should be dead code: http://privatepaste.com/354dae40cd

I'd like to thank him for not abusing the bug further, or slowly bleeding me over time. I'm extremely thankful for that, that would have been a nightmare situation. Thanks Foo!

Sorry about all the drama people, please enjoy the game.

Uh, take a look at this guy's chart. It seems to me that he's cheating. Ryan might want to investigate this.

What's for sure is that their growth rate is slowing down. The increase rate of the population is also declining and if things keep being like that India is going to become more populated than China in a decade or sooner.  The decline of China's growth rate is also affecting the rest of the world, have a look at oil prices.

It's pretty hard for an individual to prove that an operation like this is a scam or not. Every comment you see on hashie is speculation since no one really knows. I'd just say don't invest more than you can afford to lose as always.

6046  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Introducing XCoinCall - start calling with Bitcoins on: November 28, 2014, 05:33:32 PM
I was provided with some account credit. Xcoincall is surely an outstanding service for it's kind! Undoubtedly the best phone call service you can pay with bitcoin right now. It seems like a lot of work has went into both the website and service. I called someone using the website and I was told that my voice was heard crystal clear. I'm utterly amazed by how all this has been put together to bring such a nice result.

It's also amazing how the rate for calls in my own country is cheaper than the rates some of the best plans available here provide. I'll surely be using the service in the future.

I was just reading through the OP. Seems like we can also receive the payment in mining power. Can we have more details on that?

Bitmain confirmed that they have bought over 5 petahash from them https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=827552.msg9378239#msg9378239

Keep on making shit up though bro

Aren't you making a false dichotomy here? Since 5 Petahashes represents a fraction of their total hashing power is it not a real possibility they are selling a percentage of fractional virtual hashes as a ponzi scheme?

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/gavin-andresen-suspects-ponzi-schemes-bitcoin-cloud-mining/

Interestingly enough the confirmation from BITMAIN Came on October 30 and they said that the miners are marching your way to join GAWSOME. Indicating that GAW hasn't even received their miners yet.

GAW was selling hashrate months prior to this confirmation.

hes going to go put it into one of the sites that guess based on X by X and X = X and give you a answer lol

It's quite funny actually, I've never heard someone asking to be paid in order to give a price appraisal for a domain. Or any other item in general.
It's actually only an entire industry.

Domains, yeah there's an entire industry behind them. Domain appraisals on the other hand, they're done for free all over the web.
6051  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Maxcoin loaded .999silver coins on: November 27, 2014, 06:10:44 AM
What is maxcoin...some alt?

An alt that Max Kaiser and some traders tried pumping but failed quite badly. As soon as it did he pretended he had nothing to do with it.
Nice coin but unfortunately I don't like the currency it represents.
Good luck with sales Smiley

Max is still openly supporting the coin. I haven't been following this thoroughly but you can't say that he pretends he has nothing to do with it while he publicly posts about donating to create the "maxcoin Foundation".

I'd love to reserve a spot if that would be possible. Good luck with your campaign.

p2p.auction

How much do you think it's worth?
How much are you willing to pay for that job, if i am to appraise your website to know it value, you simply PM me, please take note this is not free.

Yeah no, that's not how it works. If anyone else is willing to give me an opinion on how much p2p.auction could worth please feel free to do so.
6055  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Primedice legit? on: November 25, 2014, 09:51:56 PM
While PD is legit and trustworthy, it is still better to withdraw your balance when you are done gambling. Not that I am worried about Stunna run away, but sometimes the site is down and you won't be able to access your bitcoin for a few hours.

No matter how trustworthy they are, you shouldn't trust them with holding your coins. And I'm not saying this just for primedice. People should understand that allowing someone to have access to their private keys means he can virtually go away with your coins at any time, use them for anything, or practice fractional reserve and end up being insolvent (there are more scenarios to mention). Websites should never be considered a safe place to store coins for many reasons. You mention a good reason but it's not the only one. Online and shared wallets should be used solely as a hot wallet. There's no good reason to leave a big balance in then for a long time.

6057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin-Qt taking ages to load on: November 25, 2014, 07:38:22 PM
Yep, it takes long time to shut down wallet, and also to start it Angry

If you're using windows try this:
1. find where you have bitcoin core installed
2. locate the .exe file of your wallet
3. Create a shortcut to it
4. Right click the shortcut
5. properties
6. add -checkblocks=10 after the directory it's being ran from.

Now you can add the shortcut to your desktop. Every time you open the wallet using the shortcut it will start faster since it won't have to do the default check of 288.

Or your add it to the startup folder (C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup) if you want. Adding it to the startup folder will start your wallet as soon as you open your computer.

It helped me reduce the wallet's start time from minutes to seconds. I don't know if there's something to reduce it's closing time though. It was never much for me anyway.
6058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Crypto-Collider: The Worlds First Bitcoin Gaming / Trading Hybrid on: November 25, 2014, 07:17:40 PM
I just entered a game in crypto collider. Have to say the website looks to have a really nice design, the idea behind the game is super intelligent and it's implementation is quite impressive too.

The game also has something like a profit sharing scheme for it's top players as well as an investment one. I'll have to spend some more time studying those to fully understand them. I'm really impressed with the project as a whole.

There's also 0.002 BTC given to each new user that signs up currently. You can come join the chat, and make a bet with these play money. Who knows, you might win something too. Smiley
6059  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Is there any bulk suppliers of amazon gift cards? At high discounts? on: November 24, 2014, 05:39:51 AM
This is a risk you shouldn't take unless you're dealing with small amounts.

You won't find vendors selling these kind of GCs for small amounts. No enough profit for them.

Not vendors of course. Rather individuals trying to cash their amazon cards that they probably got through any kind of rewards program quickly. Vendors would never sell amazon cards at a 30% discount. If OP wants to have a discount at an item he wants to buy from amazon products he should consider services like https://purse.io/ or https://brawker.com/

What is it now? Everybody needs to hve their own thread about GAW? There are already 3 active ones in this section, all about the same thing.

I originally posted this in the speculation section, a mod decided to move it here. The other posts you mention are about slightly different topics anyway.
