6043  Economy / Services / Re: [-Hiring-] a person 0 req for 10 min job a day -- 50 usd a month -- BTC on: December 06, 2019, 02:30:04 PM
requirements are

making an account on a site and verifying it via phone and email. then posting my accounts for sale and bumping them every 6 hours. i have average 3 new accounts daily. thats it. 50 usd a month for just that. let me know. unfortunately i have no btc available so once i get 1 sale i pay for whole month and we keep on going i need a long partner

Since your account is a Newbie, you might want to engage a trusted (i.e. Senior/ highly reputable) member to hold the funds because 1 month before pay is pretty long and naturally trust issues might arise.
6044  Economy / Services / Re: paying 50 dollars a month for 10 min job a day. first to pm me gets the job bitc on: December 06, 2019, 01:43:20 PM
Quote
simple job involving a site you need to sign up and perform some actions

My guess would be about some GPT site. Sign up, complete offers, etc...

Unless you can prove me wrong OP.
6045  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Why are Africans not using cryptocurrencies? on: December 06, 2019, 01:40:02 PM
+1 here. You're not going to be able to use Crypto if you're unable to use the internet.

You're also not going to be able to use the traditional methods of transfer that are taken for granted in the US --> Look at Venmo, Cashapp, Zelle, etc.

Africans can only begin to use Crypto when they have heap, free, and plentiful internet. There's no other way for them to use this tech without it. Now we can sit here all day long and debate if you can use 'crypto usb sticks' or something along those lines.

But we have to push internet to them first.

While Internet is one thing, the awareness and adoption is another.

For instance, Internet access in my country (not Africa) is plentiful but then, cryptocurrency adoption remains low. Only 3 exchanges were licensed so far.

However, we're slowly opening up to e-Wallets.
6046  Other / Off-topic / Re: Pineapple on pizza? on: December 06, 2019, 01:32:48 PM
I've eaten loads of pizzas with that and honestly I don't find pineapples a problem at all. It harmonizes with the tangy sauce and savory ingredients.

Don't know why people tend to make a huge fuss over it.
6047  Other / Meta / Re: witch-hunting problems I noticed looking at my post history on: December 06, 2019, 01:26:27 PM
Like Rizzrack has mentioned, the warning refers to the person who sent you the PM, not the recipient.

Sometimes you might visit a profile and see some red or yellow warning flags attached. This one applies to any rank if the subject has received loads of reports/ negative trusts.
6048  Other / Meta / Re: sMerit Anti-Hodling Scheme on: December 06, 2019, 10:16:35 AM

Yeah, i've spotted those threads aswell. However, when reading trough those threads, i always get the gut feeling people posting in those threads are essentially still begging for merits, so i'm inclined not to give them any... I realize this might be an unpopular opinion, but it's just the way i'm programmed to react i guess Smiley

Fair point. In the end, it's up to each one on how to spend their own merits Smiley
6049  Other / Meta / Re: sMerit Anti-Hodling Scheme on: December 06, 2019, 07:34:58 AM
I try to give merit away, but my main problem is that 99% of the posts i come across are either:
  • Newbie ramblings, asking questions that have been answered hundreds of times before, spamming, bounty hunting, reflinks, wrong subforum,...
  • Posts that were clearly designed to beg for merit
  • Good posts by people that don't need any more merit cause their rank is more or less in balance with their merit total

It's very rare for me to see a post and think: "this guy/girl is actually making coherent posts that aren't created for the sole purpose of getting merit, and on top of this, this guy/girl actually needs merit... So i'll send him/her some".

So, the end result is that i'm still sitting on a bunch of smerit, not because i'm trying to be a hoarder, but because the newbie/junior/member/full member post quality is so low i can't in good conscience give them merit.

You can try holding merit giveaway threads so you could potentially spot helpful ones that went unnoticed.

I'll hold one once I've reached 100 Merits.
6050  Other / Meta / Re: A Newbies Perspective on BitcoinTalk on: December 06, 2019, 05:17:22 AM

This is a particular example of Guest post way back then https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=12156.0;topicseen, but I guess it's better that you've signup here rather than just posting anonymously and grow your account how you wanted it to be. The feature I guess is still enabled in the forum AFAIK.

Yup. I can imagine the level of abuses which could stem more than the benefits. Plagiarism, spam, phishing and trolls.

The feature is prevalent in many forum software, but I feel its best to leave it disabled for its own good.
6051  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cypto-Forum.net - Get Paid Cryptos for Posts! on: December 06, 2019, 02:51:20 AM

I like your last sentence, it really needs money to run a successful forum, take the case of Cryptotalk, there's always new sign up and new post and the traffic rank is going up, because members are getting paid in a timely manner and they do not have to wait for the payout much better than a bounty campaign.

Well CryptoTalk has really upped the game by a notch, seeing they hardly have any issue with the budget.

For new players, this might prove somewhat troublesome especially when attempting to bring in current CT posters.
6052  Other / Meta / Re: A Newbies Perspective on BitcoinTalk on: December 06, 2019, 01:59:06 AM
So for my experience and start into the forum it was back nearly in 2014 with just an a guest Account,
i have readed without doing a Single Post 2 years.
In this time i has learned very much about all crypto related and the basics of the forum.

Welcome to the forum by the way!

Bitcointalk had Guest accounts back then? Oohhh
6053  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Dust Attack, what it is, why it is dangerous and how to prevent falling to it on: December 05, 2019, 03:22:59 PM
So I guess this can apply even on gambling and faucets?

Imagine faucet sites on FBC, then there's no way to find out if we've been dusted or not.
6054  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ 777Coin Signature Campaign ★☆★ (Member-Hero Accepted) (New) on: December 05, 2019, 02:09:03 PM

Just check no update in spreadsheet mean no one accepted for the current round can you give any update about this ?

If this happens, you've to re-apply. Once he quotes your application, you're set.
6055  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How merit is acquired on: December 05, 2019, 12:50:57 PM
Other than making quality discussions, there is no other way that is ethical and within the forums rules.

Actually there is, by locating those giveaway threads if you've some contributions to share.
6056  Other / Meta / Re: Art badges for the winners on: December 05, 2019, 12:44:36 PM

Thank you all my dear friends Smiley

I agree with the idea of @Theymos. This contest took me more than 10 days.

It was still exciting. We have to continue this kind of competition. International competitions for everyone. This is an international forum. People need to get to know each other more. I think these activities provide this.

Lookin' good! I wonder, is that a fountain pen or a brush? Kinda small and not zoomable.
6057  Other / Meta / Re: Trust feedback should be written in English. A must for DTs. on: December 05, 2019, 07:19:08 AM
IMHO, Google Translate would do the job nicely. After all like the others have mentioned, there are non-English speakers so they might not be able to convey their thoughts in English.

Alternatively, just ask a local member there to help translate?
6058  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ 777Coin Signature Campaign ★☆★ (Member-Hero Accepted) (New) on: December 04, 2019, 03:56:53 PM
Any updates anyone?

Just wait, he'll post here once the pays are out.

6060  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] a-ads.com: Bitcoin advertising network. Advertise now! on: December 04, 2019, 07:56:53 AM
hi

can someone let me know by his experience that how man ad units per site are working good. i mean 2 or 3 or 4. and which ad sizes earn the best? i have 50k+ traffic per day to my bitcoin and money related website and i wish to earn maximum. so please suggest me what ad sizes i should use and how many ad units.

i learned from faq pages that even there are 3 ad units at one page but only one of them get unique hit. but what if one ip has not visited a-ads banner yet and when that ip visits then 160x600 size ad unit displays including 3 text ads of 3 different advertisers. in this case for all those 3 advertisers that ip is unique in this case 3 unique impressions should be counted and publisher should earn money for 3 unique impression. i am sure this is not the case right now?

thanks

maven

Actually you could view the stats here: https://a-ads.com/stats

To answer your question, the "best" earning one is the 728 x 90 leaderboard since it comprises the most out of all sizes.
