6041  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] Selling Dropbox accounts on: March 31, 2012, 02:54:11 PM
Constructive feedback for you OP:
You need to drop the price for people to buy. 0.4BTC just isn't cheap enough for the state they're in (not fully loaded).

I think he needs to head towards like 0.2BTC or less for OP to stand a chance in this sale.

Who else thinks he should lower his price?
Me. I personally think it's worthless tho, I could whip up a script to make tons of DB accounts, complete with separate emails in a few hours ' leisure. Selling loaded accounts with like 10 GB or 18GB is the way to go now.
6042  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS Sapphire 5830 (oh, and some newegg links to refurbished 5830's for $108) on: March 31, 2012, 02:15:38 PM
Oh well, this is a free market and the guy has every right to sell at whatever price he sees fit. Don't pester him on that.

Edit: and yes, I did saw that 'ass antenna' meme you edited  Wink
6043  Economy / Speculation / Re: Rally!!!!! on: March 31, 2012, 12:28:42 PM
The fish entrails, and the buying style on MTGox tells me that. I'm just waiting on what my cookie tells me, it's still in the oven.
6044  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Poll] Will you shut down your miner/miners for Earth Hour 2012? on: March 31, 2012, 11:53:49 AM
Hello  Smiley
Just thought it would be fun to see if you guys are going to shut down your miners and computers during Earth hour 2012. For you guys that don't know what it is you can read more about it here http://www.earthhour.org/. Between 8:30 PM and 9:30 pm on Sunday (31st), you are suppose to shut down all electrical devices.

//DeaDTerra
It would take more then 1 hour to restart my miners, so no. Undecided
6045  Economy / Speculation / Re: Rally!!!!! on: March 31, 2012, 11:52:23 AM
I sense an incoming rally.
6046  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm buying 17k+ USD worth of BTC on: March 31, 2012, 11:51:24 AM
You should post this at the Currency Exchange subforum too. Good luck! Cheesy
6047  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a 2BTC loan on: March 31, 2012, 11:49:21 AM
You were planning on repaying by selling items the last time as well, why have these items not yet been posted for sale in the marketplace section?
+1.
Also, reputation is not easily gained by only repaying a paltry loan and having a small history of posts. What do you have in addition to this that could be presented to us, the lenders, that could add to your credibility? Any cross-site reference? Any real life information that could be linked?
6048  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Malware writer here, ask your questions. on: March 31, 2012, 09:41:50 AM
I was certain that people would download it.

download what exactly? what was the trojan advertised as?

+1. And I've helped you to link this thread in the original post, so the parties involved can take a look too.
6049  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Women Cannot Resist Bitcoins on: March 31, 2012, 09:32:45 AM
My lady gets turned on by bitcoins.... Forget hardware, talk $$$.

+1.   Women 'like' my Bitcoin status updates on Facebook, but only if it's profit related.

Had one ask to see my rigs and my hash rate.  I was happy to oblige.
Girls asking this kind of stuff? Pfft. They're as rare as the blue moon nowadays.

6051  Other / Off-topic / Re: What food do you hate most? on: March 31, 2012, 07:43:43 AM
Let me think...Everything remotely palatable is game for me so I don't have a very specific food I hate.
The worse thing that I would think about eating is Tofu skin (I hate the strong smell and the slimy texture, but I could be coaxed to eat some if needed  Undecided), fried rats (no way I'm eating something so gross, and I did try scorpions and grubs before).

I love heavy smelling stuff like blue cheese, kimchi, durians(damn tasty stuff, I can say), century eggs, shrimp paste, and of course some ole' Limburger goodness  Wink so I don't get why I hate the tofu skin though.

Note: I'm a standard-sized guy, and without a spare tummy although I love to eat.  Wink

Edit: friedcat, I haven't tried testing some fried cat though - I don't eat domestic pets.  Grin

I don't eat domestic pets either. My name is just a nickname called by my friends for many years.

I like blue cheese and century eggs too. Although I could eat the former directly without any processing steps, the latter should be cooked properly to fit in my mouth. Grin
Century eggs with porridge. Yummy!  Grin
6052  Other / Off-topic / Re: Guess and Win [Get your cell phone ready for QR-Codes] on: March 31, 2012, 06:28:59 AM

here is another one, bonus BTC scan quick !

I got that one, I think.

Do the mobile wallet apps support importing private keys via QR yet? If not, it might be a handy feature.

What was the address? I'm just curious; I didn't download a QR scanner app yet LOL
6053  Other / Politics & Society / Re: At Ron Paul rally at University of Maryland... on: March 31, 2012, 05:57:01 AM
The real reason Rassah went to see Ron Paul speak.

Finally, I would like to thank the supporter who donated the coffee table for this occasion.
Hopefully, the next coffee table I stand on has more character.

+1
I LOL'ed. So hard.
6054  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Home-made granola on: March 31, 2012, 05:55:14 AM
Agreed!  Cheesy
It's the oats that make me go for granola. Pity I'm not in the US now, so I can't get some from you.  Cry

Maybe you can Shocked
I could re-ship them to you using my Discounted Fedex account?
The total cost would be exorbitant for a package of granola then.  Cry
6055  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Malware writer here, ask your questions. on: March 31, 2012, 05:53:38 AM
Sounds like a good methodology for this, although a bitcoin address should be 33 chars and below. How are you going to be so sure that all bitcoins are sent back correctly after the experiment?
6056  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info Unconfirmed Transactions on: March 31, 2012, 05:09:20 AM
The client will automatically calculate and warn you if a tx fee is needed. I'm too lazy now to dig out the underlying determination formulae, but I remember there's one. Small transactions count as <0.01 if I'm not wrong.
6057  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello there on: March 31, 2012, 04:58:16 AM
Yay! I'm not a virgin anymore! see you guy's out there!  Grin
I'm going through the motions of shaking off my newbie status specifically so I can comment in the ongoing GirlsGoneBitcoin thread.

Really, it's pretty embarrassing that this forum has this restriction. This is Bitcoin we're talking about. Why not have new users send a security deposit to a Bitcoin address, which activates their forum account, and if they're good forum citizens (not spamming), they get their deposit back after X number of posts. No need for board restrictions. No problem with spam (too expensive for spammers). And no aggravation for legitimate newcomers.
This would be a problem for someone who has problems getting their first coins.
6058  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info Unconfirmed Transactions on: March 31, 2012, 04:50:20 AM
0.0005 is the standard fee, regardless of the amount sent. Larger amounts of coin sent (>1) might not require a fee at all depending on the coin's age.
6059  Other / Off-topic / Re: Guess and Win [Get your cell phone ready for QR-Codes] on: March 31, 2012, 04:09:17 AM
I miss my old phone with a built in QR scanner. Now where's that app for QR scanning?  Sad
6060  Other / Off-topic / Re: What food do you hate most? on: March 31, 2012, 04:07:22 AM
Milk. Can't drink milk without gagging.

I was into eating weird shit but it's been severely limited after I became a vegetarian. Also, milk now casually feels like somebody's bodily fluids and eggs like, well, fetus. Would love to try out durians though, I heard they were forbidden in many places in Malaysia.

Nah, it's a local delicacy. Some of the best ones go for an arm an leg though. It's mostly banned in public transportation like planes and buses in Singapore though, but nobody cares anyway  Wink
