What do you think would happen to the rest of the currencies if for some reason bitcoin were to crash and the price dropped to 0?
As we can see, whenever the market value of Bitcoin is falling some cryptos are also affected by the situation. The moment its market price started to fall at the start of this year, the majority of cryptocurrencies are also negatively affected. As such, i think there is really a relationship but zi highly doubt that the price of bitcoin could drop to zero knowing that it is a very popular crypto

mon·ey (noun)
- a current medium of exchange in the form of coins and banknotes; coins and banknotes collectively. ---
cur·ren·cy read as ˈkərənsē (noun)
-a system of money in general use in a particular country.
So, is bitcoin money or currency?
Currency is a system and money is the thing which is being used on that system. Therefore, I think Bitcoin is a kind of both currency and money. Bitcoin is a digital currency in the first place and it can already be used on countries where it is already legal. There's no big difference between a currency and money.

As far as i know bitcoin has a high volatility given the fact that it is in demand in the market but i did not expect hat it is so high that it can really go from 1-100 and 100-0. I want your insights about this volatility of bitcoin.
Bitcoin is naturally volatile in the first place but we can't hide truth that the market is now more volatile than before. Its market value is really obsevable to be volatile at this moment such that ups and downs are being experiencef. Selling won't be an advantage because whenever the market is falling same happens with its value

https://www.ccn.com/bitcoin-price-moves-closer-to-7000-as-cryptocurrency-market-records-slight-gain/For the time being, significant news on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general has been rather quiet lately. Lingering somewhat out of the spotlight, bitcoin has been given a chance to finally begin its growth again. As long as it remains untouched by major news and generally negative reports, it should be opposition free in its recovery. However given the current state cryptocurrencies are in, it is extremely hard to say that this is the end. For now it is one foot in front of the other for cryptos. As always, good luck in this hectic market. Best regards, The Elysian Team Well that's really something to look forward with knowing yhat Bitcoin had a rough start this year. Hopefully it will be continuous in order for Bitcoin to recover particularly with its market value. Also, still expect for sudden downfalls in the market given that Bitcoin is naturally volatile. For now, continue holding and avoid selling in order to avoid loss of profit.

Bitcoin's market value is way unpredictable due to the volatility which includes the ups and downs on its price. If this thing is possible to happen, this is really scary. To think that it would it would bave a huge gap from its highest market price ladt year, surely, it will be hard for Bitcoin to recover. Let's just hope that things will be in favor with Bitcoin fin the remaining months of this year.

Is it a good buying price for bitcoin?Might cross-border activity often lead to better demand for bitcoin? So bitcoin will do better in the second half of the year. What do you think?
I think it is indeed a good price for Bitcoin as investment. The market value fell due to the continuous dumps in the market from the start of this year. Bitcoin had a rough start this year which can be seen on how large is the gap of its market price last year and now. But given that the recovery has a chance to take place, investing at thid point is a huge opportunity to earn profit.

In recent months, the market has dropped a lot. Many people's portfolios have fallen by 50 percent, and the answer is basically waiting.
We can sell it at a higher price and buy when it goes down.
I think we'll lose a little bit less, better than nothing.
Waiting or holding is more necessary. Selling might really cut down your losses at the moment but it would as well cut your potential profit. Try to think of this; you are not really losing profit when the msrket value is falling and if you won't already sell it. The amount of Bitcoin is the same and it is just the price which is changing. As such, holding and waiting until the market recover is a better thing todo.

Hi Forum I would like to know what real value you think HODLing adds. What is the point of just holding bitcoin till moon and lambo ? This is cryptocurrency, why aren't we using this as currency? If we all just hold then this whole thing takes on a completely different business model, we lose all real value that it has as currency and it just becomes a full on speculative bubble.
Bitcoin and other currencies have no value if nobody uses them. So I would like to encourage everyone to spend and replace instead of just blindly holding. We won't see merchant adoption skyrocketing if nobody buys stuff with bitcoin. And yes I know it can go up in value, but why not just spend your BTC and EFT some fiat over to your local exchange and replace the BTC you spent ? If any businesses accept BTC or other currencies it is our duty to support them extra for it and use cryptocurrency.
They are holding surely because they don't want to make any unecessary move such as selling which might cut their potential profit in the future.a they are also awared that dumps are not permanent is a completely normal thing in cryptocurrency. The hope and expectations that the market will always recover is what gives the idea of holding to earn profit.

I follow a bitcoin price prediction forum that says that within the next week the bitcoin price will fall on the $ 6k price range this is based on the graph of bitcoin price fluctuations What is your opinion
The market is really way unpredicatble at this moment. Anything could possibly happen whether it is in favor for bitcoin not. Some are saying that after a couple of weeks, the market will start to rise, while on the other hand, some are saying that dumps will continue for the rest of the year. But the best thing to do still is to hold, wait and see it for ourselves.

No one is reaaly sure with this thing. The market value is had a rough start this year. Continuous dumps are being experienced not only by Bitcoin but most of the cryptos. Due to the volatility in the market which is now more observed. But given that the market is about to recover,we might expect of such thing to happen because things are way unpredicatable with cryptos.

According to CCN, Bitcoin prices will probably climb after April 17, when Tax Day in the United States is over. That’s what Fundstrat co-founder Tom Lee, a noted bitcoin bull, predicts.
If this is true then. Better buy some bitcoins now as long as is it low. Goodluck guys !

No one has an assurance with this thing. The market volatility is really way unpredictable. No one knows what will happen next with its market value particularly with the ups and downs on its market price. Given that the market is really volatile right now, holding is more advisable to do. So just hold and wait and see what will happen on the next days for Bitcoin.

we know that many people do not like the presence of Bitcoin, Are you sure in the future people who hate Bitcoin will be silent and regret because of Bitcoin triumphs... I think so. Once the problem of legalization has been solved, surely that would be proven. Bitcoin is having problems and issues with regards to volatilities, different countries and more. But i think as the years are passing by, the problems are being solved little by little. So just bear with Bitcoin and wait for thing to be done and proved by it.

I knew it. The increase really is literally short-term. Probably the reason has to do with the demand since there's no issues being reported which usually causes the market to fluctuate. But that's just normal and there's really nothing to be worried of. The market dips are temporary and sooner or later recovery will happen. Patience is the key in order to earn huge profit.

I need some opinion if panic selling can contribute of rapidly drop of the bitcoin price. If it is right how can we convince to the bitcoiners to not doing panic selling.
In my opinion it is indeed true. Selling will just make the maket value of Bitcoin to fall even more especially at times like this that its market price is low. It somehow affects the demand negatively which being reflected to the market value. As such holding is the best thing to do in order to avoid loss of profit just because of panic since recovery will always happen.

To this day bitcoin remains at a stable price and has not yet shown any upside movement, I am waiting for bitcoin prices to rise again. Do you think the bitcoin price will reach $ 50,000?
Bitcoin really had a rough start this year. I do believe that it is possible for Bitcoin to have a such high market value but I think it will take time for it to reach that price. Bitcoin will surely have a hard time recovering because the msrket value is really low compared to its price last year. It might take months in order to have such market price. So just be patient and wait.

TRADINGEthereum and Bitcoin appear to be separating. ETH is in a 14-day uptrend while BTC is still in a 25-day downtrend.
It maybe because Bitcoin is not an alternatice coin like alts. The increase on Bitcoin's market value is good for a lomg run. Keep in mind that bitcoin is a strong currency and also the thing that we are experiencing right now is absolutely temporary and normal for cryptos that are volatile in the market. So surely bitcoin is surely not in danger thst much.

What's more important when starting a business, Big Idea or Big Capital?
Surely, a big idea is more needed. A business won't be factual if you'll be only ideal and you're lacking of capital. On the other hand, you'll be able to create more ideas if you have the money to do it or to execute it in that way it will be turned into reality and will not only be an imagination permanently. A caoital would be a foundation on s budiness' success .

If we look at the chart bitcoin have started to rise up again. It fell into the dip at 6200$ and now it has climb up again to 7k$. Despite the news of closing of exchanges on Japan and India the community are having smiles on their face when they see bitcoin climbing up again. Possibly this is due to the good news being circulated around about the new development in bitcoin. All spirits are alive maybe this is the sign we are looking for.
Is this the sign we are looking for or this is just temporary?
This is indeed exciting but it also worries most of the users because they are expecting for more dumps to happen. Surely this increase won't be continuous. The "true" pjmpd are expected to happen at the end of this year which happened on the previous year. But if it will be, it is surely a good thing because bitcoin recently is struggling to recover from being downed of 58% of its larget price last year.

As part of the economy I want to ask
•What do you think is the next big thing? by means bitcoin is getting higher and people should now invest in like what they did before.
•What coin like bitcoin you should invest in? is it bitcoingold? or the next coin that the developers will create
I think it will be etherium which has the highest chance of being next to Bitcoin since it has a large community which will highly affect the demand as well as its market value in the future. It is jist that for long term investment, Bitclin is way better. But in the future there is a chance that etherium will also be given that it is becoming more popular due to ICOs.

why all coins are going down..? can i sale it or hold.
There's no definite r eason on this scenario but it will depend on a user if he/she will sell r hold. Due to the continuous decrease on Bitcoin's market value, investors are lsing money so selling will somewhat cut their losses but will also cut their potential profit as well. Holding on the other hand is much necessary given that there is a chance that the market will soon recover.
