6063  Other / Off-topic / Re: How the latest twitter hack might be explained by past history on: July 16, 2020, 05:18:42 AM
https://twitter.com/TwitterSupport/status/1283591846464233474

The latest update from twitter would appear to confirm it.
So this move is planned including some of their employees. Twitter should investigate every single of those personnel they had, they are not sure whose the culprit Im not a negative thinker but I dont want to assume that even them could part of this. No one knows, how could a security breached instantly? Top executives of their firm might be considered as part of it.

I hope all those who were hacked sue twitter for such violation, and of course, that the hackers be caught as well.
This will be due process but I do hope they do, with money collected by this hacked this will not be tolerated by authorities and demand a response from Twitter. It might be hard to track identities of those hackers using blockchain but I wish they be caught.
6064  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [scam] Twitter hacked and Cryptoforhealth on: July 16, 2020, 04:47:42 AM
Oh boy! I saw this Tweet and this address has 35k btc which according to the tweet also belong to the scammer who did this twitter incident.

Code:
1A5PFH8NdhLy1raKXKxFoqUgMAPUaqivqp

These guys knows well how to do it and when. Imagine how many people got fooled by using authentic accounts of known people including previous President Obama. I believe this is a group who operates at large scam scale attempt. How could they amass 35k btc that worth $300 million? This will affect the crypto industry, no matter where we viewed it.

Twitter is at fault here and should rectify for those who victimized by sending bitcoins to the scammer wallet.

6067  Economy / Scam Accusations / [SCAM]Fake QTUM airdrop and selfdrop ICO! on: July 15, 2020, 04:22:10 AM
What Happened:
A twitter aidrop was spotted giving up airdrop by fake QTUM. This is obviously fake. QTUM is a big project and will not do this kind of method for giveaway. The real twitter account has 180k followers while the fake only have 1.3k followers, still those figure are huge for victims of this account that wills end their details.

Thank you for all this information, it is very helpful.
Regarding #1, is it fine to post there if it's possible to win Bitcoin via PvP and whatnot, or what that be considered Gambling?
Mentioning that there will be incentives of BTC there would be fine, but requiring them to post or replied with prizes should be on another section appropriated. You can post here: Games and Rounds As long as its not any altcoin it will be okay.

Im not sure if pure games platform can be accepted on Gambling announcement so I suggest Project Development since its more like you are developing a new platform right. What kind of games we are talking here?

6071  Other / Meta / Re: Getting Started: Beginner Questions on: July 15, 2020, 02:45:00 AM
Greetings

My questions are straightforward;
#1: Which is an appropriate section to post this in?
Project Development

#2: Where can I find rules about posting said game? If there are any specific rules
In here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2028417.0

#3: The website will contain an investment section, what are the rules regarding promiting the site or investment area directly?
Stated on my answer on question 2. As long its not an ICO, but probably not cause you mentioned BTC

#4: Are the any rules regarding Post Size, Image height, Videos etc etc that I should be aware of?
theymos said:

1.5 does really suck, 2.5 would be perfect

OK, I increased it to 2.5.

Eitherway man the proxy thing is annoying...  Undecided

Also some discussion about the topic here, regarding your concern.
Are there still size limits on image posting
6072  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Netermix Possible Ponzi Scheme Scam on: July 15, 2020, 02:26:06 AM
@cryptoaddictchie - can you make the posted images readable so at first glance, users can read what is highlighted? thanks.
Hi enlarge a bit the size. Using mobile, so Im not sure what does it looks on PC for other users. You need to zoom out a little for phones, not reallt hassle. I just dont want to put too much size.

Even if they run airdrop program, I don't think users from this forum will avail such worthless airdrop. So far, no one bothers to comment on their airdrop thread.
People learned already and instead of wasting money on these kind of investment scheme, they should buy coins that has potential and trade it. Or other's with good staking program that are legit.

~snip~
I agree, typical ponzi scheme. I wonder how much their capital spending for creating such project like this.

Good job "cryptoaddictchie". You can open another flag against the ANN thread publisher by referring your topic link. Eagerly waiting to support the flag from my side.
Hello thanks for the support. Created the flag feel free to support, just passing by on the bounty section and noticed this suspicious project so I decided to dig a little.
6073  Economy / Scam Accusations / [Warning] Netermix Possible Ponzi Scheme Scam on: July 14, 2020, 07:48:02 AM
What Happened:
A new platform asking giving away free airdrop tokens and ethereum worth 0.04eth upon registration. To my curiosity I used a dummy email to register and see whats inside of the platform. And as suspected another ponzi scheme to scam newbies.

They will asked for a deposit worth $10 with supported different coins such as bitcoin, ethereum, doge and many more and after 5 days they will give your deposited plus profit very easy money and highly suspicious that could be resulted to scam.

Holy! I never thought I would see 78 year old person on Internet forum that too Bitcoin related.
Same bro! With my lifestyle, I assume at age 60, I dont think I can still do what JetCash can do on the internet. I highly salute this guy, for doing internet at his age. The kids now at young age already got some reading glass for too much internet, imagine if they reach that age at certain point.

Jetcash is a living proof that age doesnt matter to technological advancement.

Looking forward for more of your intellectual thoughts. I had fun reading most of your topic on serious discussion section.

Since its not spamming the reason, most likely plagiarism. There is message enclosed on the warning "You are permanently banned due to spam or plagiarism"

Given the details by @Bitcoin_Arena, that is the reason why she is banned. I thought due to the spam reported post that move to off topic. but its now crystal clear.

Did you say cloud mining? Opps be careful on joining on this kind of platform. They hold the authority to hold funds that even on blockchain are confirmed on their platform and lock your funds on their their platform.

The company is saying the did see the transaction leave the blockchain but it didn't make it to their wallet and the transaction will be reversed back to my wallet. Does this sound right? If so how long does this usually take? They say they can't do anything as it up to the blockchain. Like said its been a week. I know things happen. Is my bitcoin gone? Thanks for the help.
Used "replace by fee" method to increase the fee of your unconfirmed transaction.

What wallet did you used to send your funds?

Here is a good guide or steps to actually do it.
