connection were important back then when we were getting orphans, now when we don't get anything they mean nothing.

you all might check your conf files, I've copie a version from somewhere where it used rcpallowip and not rpcallowip
Please post a copy of your config file. Right now is this but before it was with wrong spelled rcp/rpc, I've found about it actually in your orphan thread. addnode=82.211.30.212 addnode=78.21.9.49 addnode=76.115.8.101 addnode=124.149.56.205 addnode=178.130.36.81 addnode=82.6.77.126 addnode=106.187.55.212 addnode=81.202.104.33 addnode=84.200.17.178 addnode=88.204.169.242 rpcuser=user rpcpassword=x rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcallowip=192.168.1.2 rpcallowip=192.168.1.3 rpcpallowip=192.168.1.4 rpcport=8108 port=7688 daemon=1 server=1 gen=0 If you are using that you are actualy not mining because gen=0 means no mining! You need all those lines only if you are using extrenal miner. I used that config and it works, I think that when you launch it from the command prompt specifying gen=1 it overrides the config file settings. yep, gen=1 when launching gives me generate=true in getmininginfo

The game is over, 3 hours without getting even a Orphan, lol, and i have 300 khs rate, so if you dont have at least 1000 khs (1mhs) dont even try it.
Luckily for bitcoin and cryptocurrency there was no such a big computer power back in their days otherwise it would never make it.

Mining with my 2600K and something like 10PC with an Core2Duo. Nothing in 1H ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) Well, those dual core procs barely count, just a waste of electicity lol Did I tell that I was paying for electicity with them? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I just mean, those 10 dual core procs are not combining with eachother, like in a mining pool, really, you just have 10, slow PC's, competeing against eachother, and the faster PC's out there....Atleast I think that's how it works....All 10 aren't combining their hashing power, are they? You are right, but in something like 1 hours, I should have get something with one of them. LOL, there are people mining for hours with better procs without anything. Mining operations officially stopped by order from Gn. Seleme

Well yac, you got more than enough time from me - goodbye bastard.

I'm still suspicious about that client from Mega.
Some people who are reporting finding blocks run different version than that one. Maybe something is wrong with it, bad configuration or something (I have no clue about coding, just guessing)

@JimmyFL I would be interested in your hashrate, care to post it?
+-500kh/s At the beginning: 2-3blocks/minute Now it's 1block/30minutes I have mined a little with external CPU miner and it seems hashes as shown by wallet does not equal usual kHashes measurement. CPUMiner was showing around 10,000 hashes per thread (thread = CPU core) but immidiately after there were values like 2 kHashes/s. So wallet hashes / 5 to get true hashrate, the one CGMiner would show if mining with it? Not sure, I never used CPUMiner before. Still no blocks found, 0 orphans, 6+ hours mining. ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) yep, wallet deinitely doesn't show the real hashrate, it's some 5 times more.

9 orphans, o accepted...
but not getting anything for some time now... this won't run for long on my pc, it looks

tried to open the damn port in both router and firewall but probably done something wrong, it changed f'all , same 8 number of connections.
I have restarted wallet few times and finally got 8+ connections. Not sure where is the problem, but now wallet both accepts and connect to other nodes. No blocks mined yet. I've reached 12 connections at most.
