6061  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why you buy Cryptocurrency ? on: April 14, 2019, 03:48:37 PM
17,000,000% growth rate? What kind of investors are you my friend? You said nothing about quality  projects or projects with good use case rather you are more concerned about quick/unsustainable return of investment
6062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Republia ICO your thoughts? on: April 14, 2019, 03:42:24 PM
This sounds like scam. How do you know they raised that amount in pre-sale? Are there places to verify the claim? The project has almost no publicity yet it raised this much.
6063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites offers investment on: April 14, 2019, 03:38:24 PM
Rather than investment these days staking has been gaining importance when in comes to gambling. The gambling websites have got their own tokens, more you stake their tokens into your account more will be the profit you earn on every win of the gambling house against the users. This seems profiting than the normal investment on gambling websites where you get very low ROI on your investment.
.

I wont encourage staking on gambling platforms unless they have sustainable and large/growing gamblers.
As it currently stands, no crypto based gambling platform is great and unique enough to keep growing & attract gamblers.
6064  Economy / Economics / Re: There's nothing more happier than seeing your bitcoin price going up! on: April 14, 2019, 02:51:30 PM
My first Bitcoin was actually from a seller. Then I wasn't aware of the deflationary part.

Before my first investment (which came from forum works) I sat on the sideline watching Bitcoin fluctuate. Well I saw some opportunities like  long-term holding and day trading.  Here I am today still trading and working on the forum
6065  Economy / Gambling / Re: We are developing a new crypto game, where to announce? on: April 14, 2019, 02:48:21 PM
Bitcointalk Announcement section   is probably the best place to make such announcements if you haven't already done so. I think you could also announce on this section.. .Not sure if it is allowed though
6066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites offers investment on: April 14, 2019, 02:45:16 PM
Look like OP looking for ponzi scheme  Wink. I am not expert about gambling but I don't think you will find investment plan on gambling website. Investment plan really is a ponzi scheme, and gambling is different things. I will suggest you don't put your money this kind of investment plan. We have seen most of ponzi scheme turn out eventually. You can play game if you have knowledge and experience but don't find just easy way to earn money.
I am not sure but perhaps you will find investment plan gambling site. Just search on Google.

It has been mentioned by several people on gambling sections that such investment exists. I think it is about some sort of profit sharing investments. I think if a gambling site with such investments makes loses, the investors also share in the loses
6067  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: April 14, 2019, 02:40:58 PM
Virtual currency on a centralized Internet? Not a very good idea in my opinion. Not even safe for every law abiding human.
What happens if the Internet goes off completely or if a virus/global tyrant seize or destroys some virtual currencies lawlessly/unjustly...we'll have no physical cash to fall back on.
6068  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Digital Coins time notifier by time on: April 14, 2019, 01:55:54 PM
You could use "Bitcoin Checker" App.  It basically does thesame thing. I don't know if it's available on Apple app store. I only use the Android version
6069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BitcoinSV will be delisting from binance on: April 14, 2019, 01:49:54 PM
Depends on why he wants his coin delisted. Did the coin fail to meet the exchange standard or he is just trying to get back at Craig Wright for whatever reason.
Am not a fan of Craig Wright but
the rules should  also apply to his stuff like everyone else.
If the owner of Bianance feels his actions are detrimental to safety of his exchange, he should be penalized according to the rule.
6070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: negative views about Bitcoin always come! on: April 14, 2019, 01:44:22 PM
Don't blame them too much. They probably experienced the recent bearish market and lost faith in the market.
Or they have been brainwashed to hate Bitcoin/cryptocurrency by their governments.
6071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your country knows about cock fighting betting? on: April 14, 2019, 01:05:56 PM
Just did a Google search on that words.  The top search results were youtube links. There is very little information about the gambling aside on YouTube ..

Well, what I found on the top YouTube video  was very shameful and annoying. Probably why most countries do not participate in such activity..
Teaching animals violence and altering their normal way of life is lawlessness.
6072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: April 14, 2019, 01:00:49 PM
You could inform them about the dangers of not  gambling right while teaching them gambling. It's same with basically any risky activities. I earn reasonably from cryptocurrency trading but I don't teach people yet because I haven't found the right person to teach. This should probably be thesame in gambling
6073  Economy / Economics / Re: PREDICTION IS SOMETIMES LIKE A FALSE PROMISE on: April 14, 2019, 12:52:17 PM
This is why it is called Prediction/speculation. No one is 100 sure with his/her predictions, so we just speculate. This is why you must never take any of the predictions seriously. If you are comfortable with risk, you could follow the best predictions and try investing some amount based on the predictions.
6074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did the use of online gambling increase with crypto moneys? on: April 14, 2019, 12:50:04 PM
Most online gamblings are probably fiat based.  So the right question should be "did the use of crypto based gambling increases with cryptocurrency?"
I guess it did.
6075  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think about crypto currency issued by the government? on: April 13, 2019, 10:01:35 PM
Cryptocurrency issued by government is as good as fiat currency.  The government will probably strip important features of cryptocurrency off such currency.
It's better they stick with fiat than trying to reinvent the wheel.
6076  Economy / Economics / Re: A Crypto Blessing: China’s Plan to Ban Bitcoin Mining Will Work Wonders on: April 13, 2019, 09:59:46 PM
If all governments decide to go the Chinese  way, large scale miners would be doomed . I guess that is what will lead to true decentralization of mining and not one or two countries banning mining
6077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Capital on: April 13, 2019, 09:57:41 PM
Can Money that is picked up from the street be considered legitimate? It is not yours and should be returned to the police or give back to the owner. The owner could be nearby looking for his/her money on the floor... Having the money in your pocket will prevent him from finding it
6078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here's food for thought: Bitcoin's carbon footprint on: April 13, 2019, 07:14:54 PM
I wish we could know how they arrived at 0.24% of world electricity consumption. Honestly it doesn't make sense at all but it could be true.
How on earth is 0.24% of world electricity consumption possible?  How did they arrive at this number ?  Any well researched material available on this?

Have you guys considered how much energy is used for melting iron and other metals? How about energy for powering bill air-conditioners, energy for millions of factories, etc?
6079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: April 13, 2019, 07:10:07 PM
I do have to spend a lot of time in casino. I am a moderator at crypto-games.net. So i spend around at least 5 hours a day on the site moderating user activities including chat. In those 5-6 hours I am actually semi active while I am busy with my other work and stuffs  Smiley. I don't gamble much though, at least for now.
But I have seen other users, mostly those who are quite active on the site tends to be around for like almost on average 2+ hours a day.

I clicked on your signature because of your claim of moderating the website. The website is really attractive i must confess. Feels like what one could easily get addicted
6080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in Bitcoin Casinos are really worth it? on: April 13, 2019, 07:06:22 PM
It is a tough business to break into and it will cost a lot of starting capital to make a successful casino.  Just the advertising costs alone will add up really quickly.  You will have to go against sites that have years of trustworthy reputation.

Now if your investing into one of those dice sites that let you back their bankroll, that is a bit risky because you are never in control of your bitcoin and they could exit scam anytime.

So another difficult hurdle to cross even with adequate financial backing is competing with reputable gambling companies?
Crossing the hurdle will require what exactly? Building your forum reputation or investing in transparent website?
