6061  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Questionable wealth because of Crypto on: March 28, 2018, 02:56:59 PM
As expected if you live in a third world country and perhaps live around a poor suburb and suddenly amass wealth through cryptocurrencies the locals will be suspicious of your wealth with different views some will attribute your to wealth to ritual I.e blood money, some will say it's from internet scam of course it requires strenuous efforts in explaining your source of wealth else your dignity will be suspicious.
6062  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ANALYSIS OF BTC / USD DATE 26 MARCH 2013 TO 02/04/2018 on: March 28, 2018, 07:08:30 AM
Well done for your analysis but remember that most of these indicators lags with the price, these indicators only changes when the price has considerable move ahead, in some cases the price might be getting ready to reverse that is when an indicator give signal for a trading set-up, personally I prefer price action I.e naked chart and analyses based on the price movement.
6063  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Second Wave to Complete Retracement on: March 28, 2018, 07:00:10 AM
I'm using a chart to define Elliot Wave theory with 5 wave. I believe on the monthly we are currently in correction and retracement of a second wave. As we saw a 85% correction in 2012 we can use from high which would be a $3.5k correction from the current high. Not sure where this places onions but it would like be 85% of high which is approximately where we are atm.

From your analysis bitcoin is expected to pullback or to make correction to $3.5K well I respite your analysis but I don't think it's possible to pullback to that range, of course technical analysis do work well forex or spot trading but at times bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies do defies TA, in views that the pullback might necessarily reach $3.5K due to upcoming positive FUDs.
6064  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-27]Bitflyer Increases Bitcoin Adoption with Record Number of Users on: March 28, 2018, 06:40:31 AM
This news has proved that  the Japanese are the leading force in term of bitcoin adoption in Asia, it is a welcome development to see Bitflyer setting the pace in exchange services  and  bringing cryptocurrencies closer to people I wonder why binance is having issues with FSA while Bitflyer is having a smooth ride.
6065  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does signature campaign really help to promote an ICO ? on: March 27, 2018, 10:31:54 PM
The workability of signature campaigns in promoting and advertising many ICOs has really made an impact when it comes to projecting a project globally in this forum,I have read many success stories of many ICOs reaching there soft cap and hard cap in a  quick succession after advertising there ICO via signature campaign here.
6066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Friends Buy BTC and Help it Take Down The Wall at 9000 on: March 27, 2018, 08:50:58 PM

Friends Buy BTC and Help it Take Down The Wall at 9000

If we can get its past 9050 it will fly up

We allmost there!!!!
That resistance at $9000 has been very strong whenever  price touches it  there is always a pullback I belief massive buying couple with positive FUDs will bully and break that resistance let us hodl our bitcoin for now and hope for better days ahead.
6067  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018 - 03 - 27] Crypto Market In The Red, Bitcoin Falls Below $8,000 on: March 27, 2018, 05:53:12 PM
I am very optimistic that a bounce off support at $7400 to $7800 will hold at least for now it is obvious the market volume has reduced which prompted the bearish movement of course in the next in days a head bitcoin can pull up due to it's volatility in reaction to any upcoming positive fud.
6068  Economy / Economics / Re: Those who have invested in bitcoin when it was 18k-20k$ on: March 26, 2018, 10:12:51 PM
I have a friend who bought bitcoin during this peak season. When the bitcoin price was 18-20k USD. Now he is sad and disappointed seeing that the current price has dropped to 50% and more and he is afraid he is going to lose all. In short he lost his hope and faith in bitcoin already. Has anyone here did the same as he did? If you did invest in that amount what did you do to your bitcoin, did you sell it or still holding it?
Your friend must have been carried away by the stupid speculations surrounding bitcoin that time, recall there was a prediction then that the price of bitcoin will $50K in January 2018 which might prompted him to buy at $18K-$20K however presently the price is around $7K to $8K  the available option now is to keep hodling there is possibility that the price might reach that mark in the nearest future I.e break-even.
6069  Bitcoin / Press / [2017-03-26]Low-value Bitcoin Gift Vouchers Bring More Indians into Crypto on: March 26, 2018, 09:51:35 PM
Low-value Bitcoin Gift Vouchers Bring More Indians into Crypto

At times when the Indian crypto community is dealing with increasingly hostile environment, an initiative is bringing new investors on board. Bitcoin gift vouchers are gaining popularity in India’s IT hub – Hyderabad. A growing number of Indians like the idea of a cheap and low-risk entry into cryptocurrencies.

Buy Your First Satoshis for Just ₹200 INR

Gift vouchers offered at Hyderabad coffee shops are fueling both curiosity and demand for bitcoin. Sold for as little as ₹200 Indian Rupees ($3) they offer an opportunity to enter the cryptocurrency ecosphere with a micro investment that bears virtually no risk. It turns out that more and more Indians buy the vouchers to surprise friends and family or even for themselves.
“I have heard from a few friends about bitcoin and how they have gained a lot. Although they have invested huge amounts, this is only a small sum. Once I learn a little more, I can trade in a big way,” a buyer says, quoted by the Times of India. Cryptocurrency traders demand a huge cut when approached by a potential investor, he adds. His words confirm that bitcoin remains attractive in India, despite the recent market lows and the intensifying institutional clampdown.

Hyderabad, India’s fourth most populous city, has become an industrial and financial hub over the past decades. It is one of the largest contributors to the country’s GDP and has been called the “City of Pearls”, “India’s pharmaceutical capital”, and the “Genome Valley of India”. In recent years Hyderabad has turned into a global hub for information technology, adding another nickname – “Cyberabad“. Leading multinational corporations from the sector have opened offices in the local Hitec City. An estimated 400,000 people are employed by tech companies operating in Hyderabad.

Dropping Trading Volumes

Many of those tach-savvy Indians have invested in cryptocurrencies and others want to get involved. The bitcoin vouchers they are offered have been issued by a local crypto exchange urging you “to buy your first bitcoin”. Trading platforms in India have been experiencing an unprecedented drop in volume over the past few weeks. Representatives of leading exchanges have confirmed that trading has decreased up to 90% in just two months.

Although market volatility has obviously played a role, Indian traders have blamed two other major factors for the low turnover. They have complained about increasing regulatory uncertainty and a widening bank clampdown that have limited opportunities for both cryptocurrency exchanges and individual investors.

While the crypto community is still waiting for a comprehensive legal framework for the sector, officials have acknowledged that adopting effective regulations is proving difficult. At the same time, commercial banks have suspended accounts of bitcoin exchanges and restricted crypto-related transactions of private individuals. Tax authorities are also going after investors, despite the lack of clarity on how to report crypto incomes and profits.

6070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Remember Hard Fork Mania? All hardforks have failed except BCH. on: March 25, 2018, 08:10:19 PM
Remember what a big deal all these hard forks were? Except for BCH, can any one of them be considered a success? I recently lost a couple thousand in the Zclassic BTC Bitcoin Private hard Fork...so maybe I’m just a little bitter Wink
Last year was  terrible year for hardforks all sorts of hardforks was the order of the day sending FUDs around truly it was only BCH that stood the test of time while other coins disappeared.
6071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can Bitcoin help the developing world? on: March 25, 2018, 02:14:17 PM
Most developing countries economic policies has done more harm than good to it's citizens due to their  highly devalued currency however most of those countries has to resort to bitcoin e.g Zimbabwe.
Bitcoin has brought succour to the suffering masses by a sort of replacement to the Zimbabwean dollar whose purchasing power has dwindled to the minimum.
6072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC of bounty hunters on: March 25, 2018, 02:38:45 AM
Submitting your identity in the name of bounty hunting is very risky, probably after the submission the identity documents can be sold out to some online sites who usually sell fake ID documentations, I belief this trend of KYC should totally be left out in bounty hunting, campaign managers should devise another means or method of detecting multiple account holder I.e cheaters.
6073  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without knowledge on: March 25, 2018, 02:08:34 AM
I have read articles of traders who lost there investment due to lack of knowledge, therefore one must be fully equipped with knowledge before trading e.g Technical analysis, Fundamental analysis and the psychological aspect in trading must be adequately learnt or taken of  to enhance a perfect trading strategy after consistently making profits while demoing.
6074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most "Bitcoin" thing you've done? on: March 24, 2018, 02:06:33 PM
The most bitcoin-ish I ever did was waking up in the middle of night and log-in to my bitcointalk account and start reading post and also posting for a complete three hours everyday, I have been so addicted to it such that I have spent exactly 33 days while posting this post.
6075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you keep your private keys?? I need good ideas!! on: March 24, 2018, 09:32:10 AM
Formerly I used to keep my private keys on laptop but in most recent times when cases of hacked private keys became rampant especially myetherwallet which is mostly prone to hackers using phished sites, I copied it on a paper and hidden in my file while I completely deleted it on my laptop.
6076  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Volatility A Bad Thing? on: March 23, 2018, 09:58:21 PM
A good trader will capitalize on the volatility nature of bitcoin and buys when the price is low sells when the price is high and one of the aim of a trader is to make consistent profits, volatility of the price is main driving force of a market without it the market becomes slow, ranges and consolidates without trending thus the market becomes unprofitable.
6077  Other / Meta / Re: why every day we must repeat the same q in this forum section it's booooring on: March 23, 2018, 09:38:00 PM
Is bitcoin dead? ...Saving bitcoin or Withdraw?...Is bitcoin worth risking your time and money?...Are you holding Bitcoin?
wtf  2 months later every day i see this topics r we in best bitcoin and blockchain tech forum or at children school
This is usually common to newbies or junior members creating repetitive topics which is messing up the forum even campaign managers are complaining, newcomers should be encouraged to properly access the search engine whenever they wants to ask a question and forum moderators should closely monitor these unnecessary creation of new topics.
6078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the biggest misconception of Cryptocurrency in your country? on: March 23, 2018, 06:08:16 PM
In my country people equates bitcoin to scam due to the recent ponzi scheme MMM that scammed many unsuspecting investors. It's been a harculean task for me to convince my people why they should invest in bitcoin due to their past unfavorable experience in the hand of these unscrupulous scammers except a few of them who really embraced the idea and sees reasons why bitcoin investment is very profitable.
6079  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-22] BTC Price Falls as Markets React to (False) Japan Binance Thread on: March 23, 2018, 01:19:57 PM
A larger population of bitcoin user don't use binance exchange, there are other exchanges and there other hodlers of btc who use both online wallet and hardware how come a little misunderstanding between FSA and binance could cause the price of btc to fall? I don't think there is any correlation between the two, my belief is that bearish market has momentarily taken over the bullish market.
6080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you join airdrop? on: March 23, 2018, 02:51:47 AM
In the past airdrops used to be profitable once the token hits an exchanges but nowadays they are so many of them online such that they remain worthless in my MEW I have few of them that are useless for now I wouldn't waste my time on filling any airdrop but rather channel my time towards working on tangible things.
