6061  Economy / Economics / Re: Former Employees From Major South Korean Firms Quit Their Jobs After Pocketing M on: April 26, 2021, 11:29:45 PM
Another sensationalised news though, I bet there are thousands of us here we invested early as well, then quit their job because they have made so much money in bitcoin. Even in the bitcoin bull run in 2017, I remember others quitting their day job to focus on crypto trading, bounty hunting etc, everything that relates to crypto and making money and bringing food in the table for their families.

So for the former Samsung employees, good decision for them, it just shows that with good enough invested, a bit of luck regarding your entry points, you can rake and be a self made millionaires here in crypto space.
6062  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Existing investors are responsible for Bitcoin & Ethereum ‘s recent bull run. on: April 26, 2021, 10:29:09 PM
Existing investors, not the newcomers, are responsible for Bitcoin & Ethereum ‘s recent bull run.

Isn't it obvious though, old and traditional holders will always buy bitcoin because they've seen that you can get a lot of profits from it.

The price of Bitcoin and Ethereum increased in part due to the fear of the everlasting corona virus, as suggested by the increased transaction among existing investors. New addresses & active addresses in Bitcoin and Ethereum both declined. This is in contrary to the early stages of the virus, where active and new addresses all increased.

Doesn't make sense though, the price of bitcoin have been increasing because we are still the bullish phase. Everyone wanted to get on board before we hit $100k. It has nothing to do with corona virus, investors and huge companies and institutions are looking for ways to hedge their wealth and bitcoin is the best option for now.

Added a poll for you guys to vote,  Grin

So let's see how it goes.

Nakatani vs Verdejo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_isWeN_E7aE

I wouldn't say that he has solid chin because it has been cracked by Lopez and Verdejo, but Nakatani has what we call recuperation power after a knock down. He can come back from the canvass and be strong to knock you out.
6065  Local / Pilipinas / Re: ito is it worth a while? para makapagearn ng other altcoins pagsumali dito on: April 25, 2021, 10:47:02 PM

6066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: INSTITUTIONAL INVESTORS ARE WAITING TO BUY BACK LOWER. on: April 25, 2021, 10:20:20 PM
Doesn't matter what price bitcoin is, it already fall to $50k, - cheap for institutions to, so they buy at this price. And now that the price is going to $47k, - they will still buy at this price. So regardless what price will be the floor, they are going to purchase more and more because they have a very deep pockets. It's also a perfect opportunity for retail investors to also buy as much as they can because we might not see bitcoin at this price again.
6067  Economy / Gambling discussion / [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Nakatani June 26 on: April 25, 2021, 05:49:31 PM
Lomachenko vs Nakatani June 26

Ok, so Lomachenko will be making his comeback fight after his devastating lost against Teofimo Lopez. And he ain't taking easy opponent as he will be fighting Masayoshi Nakatani. For those who are not familiar with Nakatani, he also fought Lopez for 12 full and hard rounds.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mou4rphWQE

Nakatani is tall, this is a dangerous fight for Loma. But I think this will go to distance as well with Loma winning by UD.

6069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero and its future. on: April 24, 2021, 11:23:23 PM
I was just wondering what do you guys/girls/other think of Monero and its future? Particularly do you believe it could be solved and privacy no longer by default. Or potentially somehow banned everywhere. Maybe new future means of payment or even much bigger and more used than it is now?

It will still be the good privacy coins for individuals who wanted to protect themselves from the prying eyes, specially from government agencies. So it will be a battle, a sort of cat and mouse game, government trying to break Monero, and the Monero creating a new privacy algo.

There could be more exchanges or governments or countries that are going to ban Monero for obvious reason. So it will be very difficult for us crypto enthusiast to used Monero because of regulatory pressures.

6070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna WBC interim lightweight Title on: April 24, 2021, 10:35:11 PM
In a twist of faith,

Ryan Garcia Pulls Out Of Javier Fortuna Fight, Citing “Health, Wellbeing”

Quote
“I know this news may be disappointing to some of my fans but I am announcing today that I am withdrawing from my July 9th fight,” Garcia wrote on his verified Instagram channel that reaches 8.6 million followers. “At this time it is important to manage my health and wellbeing. I have decided to take some time off to focus on becoming a stronger version of myself. I hope to be back soon and am looking forward to stepping back into the ring when I am my healthiest self. I want to Thank God, my family, my doctors and my supporters.”

Ok, so the fight is definitely on hold. I can only wish Ryan Garcia to be able to fight this depression and anxiety and hope that can we can see him in the ring again, regardless if it is against Javier Fortuna or not.
6071  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 32% drop in the value of shares of Coinbase after the fall in the price of Bitc on: April 24, 2021, 10:11:41 PM
I think the fact that their team sold a lot of their shares is more impactful compared to the crypto market price. It feels like they're trying to blame the market instead of a bunch of people who clearly dump their shares and make some nice profits.

Is this is general practice in IPO that that team behind is the first one to dump their shares? Or this is the first time that we have seen this happened? In not the first case then we shouldn't blame the people behind Coinbase as this has been generally practice in the IPO industry.

And I don't see any correlation though, could be a coincidence that the whole market is really bleeding as investors is selling their shares and bitcoin holdings like pan cake due to negative news.
6072  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOLDING VS TAKING PROFITS DURING BULL RUN on: April 23, 2021, 11:25:48 PM
Holder always win but if have much money its easy how to be holder, how we only get profit from short term trading and what the best solution way to be holder, maybe impossible without any way become source income for use looks hard to be holder. I hold maximum one week and if price not grow up I will sell and cut loss.
it all depends on what works for every individual, everyone is firstly simply aiming to making money and more money which can be achieved in different ways. each person will set his/her goals based on their needs, ability, availability, and so on.

Yeah, every individual here in crypto has different goals, others wanted to get short term profit, while majority based on their experience, would rather hold for long term goal. It's a surefire formula specially if you have that mentality to go to several stages of bull runs. I was still a newbie when I experience the bull run in 2017 so I didn't hold, but looking back if I just save all the bitcoins I have back then, that's already a huge profit for me, but if I just sold in today, I could make more x3 on top of the profits that I gain in 2017.
6073  Economy / Speculation / Re: How fast do you think will Bitcoin reach $100k? on: April 23, 2021, 11:03:10 PM
I think bitcoin will fall again to 25K USD and then a bull race will start. That bull race will jump the price of Bitcoin to 100K USD. guessing time frame is not child play. May be with in 1 year or in last months of 2021.

I really don't understand why newbies believed that bitcoin should fall first to $20k-$30k before the bull run starts again? We are already in the bull run for more than a year now, we don't need to reset just to get things going again. Yeah, bitcoin's narrative has change and we might see super fast cycles of bull run but it doesn't have to crash, it's can sustain this momentum all the way to $100k or even more. We are already half of the $100k projection and we still have a lot of months this year to accomplished that.
6074  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin now officially in Bear-Market: -20% down - Dropping like a Rock on: April 23, 2021, 10:39:19 PM
Would be nice to see it really tanking though, to see how the big guns react to the plunge and to be able to buy more cheap coins too. The thing is, these market movements are almost normal on bitcoin and are happening every few weeks or so that it's no longer a surprise anymore.

Probably after everything has settled down, we might have the numbers on how many these big institutions bought, like MicroStrategy etc.

The problem is that some people and news sites sensationalizes these normal market movements as if they are the sign of an impending doom, when in reality it is not. Oftentimes what happens is some traders just sells in order to move assets, though those coins are easily chomped down by other traders. It's not really something out of the ordinary, I'd say.

Yeah, but the best way to combat this kind of FUD's is to really proved them wrong in any angle. Because there could be some newbies that might believed this impending doom while in reality we have seen worst in January and February. But then again, bitcoin will always recovered, it is so resilient with this kind of flash crash that it will stand up and surpassed another all time high.
6075  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Breaks Below $50K as Market Sell-Off Continues on: April 23, 2021, 10:19:05 PM
It's not a really bad situation, if you have the money, you can probably buy some bitcoin right now and hodl it until the prices go up again, if the decline continues then you should probably buy more to hodl more bitcoin because in the long-term, you are going to get more bitcoin.
All the recent three-day events involving fake news are once again in rampant attention.  Xinjiang region of China power failure, Exchange in Turkey, Mogan, Biden ... etc, Lol, Clear combination of attractive eyes.  Now bitcoin hits the $ 50k mark again, but will we have the strength to repeat better states sooner?  go and up.

Well, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand what's really going on and what is the reason for the sudden fall <$50k. There are a lot of negative news again and then there was this FUD going around as well. But since we are all for the long term here, it doesn't affect us. On the contrary people see it as an opportunity to scoop bitcoin again. It's evident, as the price is now $50,500 from as low as $48k in the last 24 hours. So we have bounce back.

6079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Eyes on BTC Dominance! on: April 22, 2021, 11:07:27 PM
Man Bitcoin dominance is taking a dump Shocked

Btc price is dumping too.

But btc dumping is not dragging alts down too indicating altcoins will be better than bitcoin for the time being.

When you guys think btc dominance will recover cause that's the best time to sell alts before btc dominance recovers and continues its bull run to 100k?

If btc crashes to 20k the only way to get btc back on bull market track to 100k from 20k is btc dominance recovering to like 90%+ correct?

I'm not sure if btc will crash to $20k, although we are now closer to $50k again and all the market is bleeding. For the time being? I would say btc is still a good hedge as compare to altcoins because of the volatility. Dominance though is still above 50%, indicating that bitcoin is still somewhat the main driving force. It is goes down, everything goes down, that's the control bitcoin has over the market.
6080  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will drop to 20k is not time to buy btc now on: April 22, 2021, 10:44:47 PM
And maybe after reading this, those who have been thinking of selling, rather change their mind because of this fud from a new member in this community. Because this is just another history repeats itself process. We've witnessed a lot of these in 2017 and yet at the end of the year, it has reach to a point wherein we almost touch $20k, write history again with a new all time high. So I would say most likely this is going to happen again this 2021. But for the new all time high? it's going to be different, as we are looking for $100k.
