6101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the smallest unit of Tether (USDT) on: March 03, 2020, 02:29:45 PM
Hello everyone,

I was looking into the divisibility of a few cryptocurrencies and found no information on whether USDT has a smallest sub-unit.

Is it possible to send someone $0.01 USDT? What about $0.001 USDT? Does it depend on the blockchain?

Any information would be appreciated.

There is no specific sub unit for USDT, but you can regard to it as the US $ since that's its pegged value, so it's only logical to presume it's smallest subunit is the Cent.

And yes, it is possible to send 0.01 or 0.001 USDT or their equivalent in USD (which would almost be the same value because it's stable coin).

If you're trying to deposit/withdraw from an exchange, be sure to check the minimum deposit/withdraw allowed, some exchange restrict USDT transactions to round figures.

Indiana Pacers -2.5

Still on the roll mate, wow, you are in 7 winning streak now?

PICK : BLAZERS +7 and ml.

Finally I got an easy one, it's an easy win for win and I hope to follow Harkorede win streak too.
Thanks for tailing, you got more wins than mine.  Grin

Yes, that's right, I've got 7 in a row now.

The Blazers had it pretty easy from the very beginning and I knew they sure weren't going to screw that up, The Spurs vs Pacers was quite an interesting game with scores switching between both sides in almost every quarter, both team at some point each had a double digits leaf in the first quarter, and It was looking all good for Pacers at the half, but Spurs bounced back and took the lead in the 4th Quarter, Myles Turner and Sabonnis were highly instrumental for the Pacers to turn the game around.
6103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 02, 2020, 10:45:36 PM
If Bayern Munich wins all there Games they win the League !
I realy hope they lose one game so other Teams have the chance to do it ,but this means they also have to win there games.
But it looks like that Bayern will do it again , sadly !

It is not really much about Bayern Munich dropping points than it's about Leipzig getting as many points as they possibly, If you look at the fixtures you'd see that Bayern actually have tougher upcoming games as compared to Leipzig. They've still got Dortmund, Leverkusen, Monchengladbach and Wolfsburg all of which are going to be tough games. I can assure you that Bayern are definitely still going to lose points, it's now up to Leipzig if they can advantage of that and not lose further points.
6104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Coronavirus never happened on: March 02, 2020, 08:31:47 PM
What will be happening right now if Coronavirus never took place to drag down cryto market due to economic affection? Still down thread or bullrun will still be kicking

I'm not sure that the Corona virus outbreak is the cause of the current state of the crypto market, we saw all the market rally mid last year but it never lasted for too long as there another dip which followed before there was ever a case of Corona virus. Of course the virus does have an effect but the market situation isn't a total reflection of the outbreak.

6106  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK REQUIRES ID PROOF - BE AWARE BEFORE YOU WIN BIG! on: March 02, 2020, 06:11:33 PM
- A high increase of costs (hiring compliance officers, KYC officers, personel to handle GDPR requests etc.)
They could easily add that to their cost of operations, but as you stated that "Most of their 'customers' likely play with low volumes" which could lead to losses on an average for them, they could well increase their least deposit to at least assume the possibilities of a user making only one deposit before they stop using their platform.

- They would need to (highly) improve their backend and storage capacities
- They are responsible for all personal information they store. Being a large source of KYC information could attract attackers. There are numerous examples where KYC data was stolen.

These situations are inevitable for as long as they are in operation, it's only matter of time before it's needed of the. It should be a part of their obligations.

- Most of their 'customers' likely play with low volumes, making KYC/AML non-mandatory.

Fair for one, should be fair for all, or vice versa, I'd say.

Are you referring to this thread as the basis for what you are saying? If so, I believe you are misrepresenting what happened.

For me, it is more about the amount of threads you see flying are around with only one thing in common, KYC after winning big, Of course some of them are players fault, mostly as it is and some also get resolved (paid out full or refunded) eventually. However, getting a better solution to these issues wouldn't be a terrible idea.

If you are going to transact with a reputable company in large amounts, you are going to have to complete KYC, or else governments will eventually shut down the company when it becomes associated with money laundering. There really isn’t any way around this. I don’t like it, but it is reality.

As a gambling platform you can easily prove that you're not involved in money laundering for paying out winnings, even if it's big amount. However, you can't say the same for allowing a huge deposit without knowing the source of it being legitimate.
6107  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK REQUIRES ID PROOF - BE AWARE BEFORE YOU WIN BIG! on: March 02, 2020, 05:40:45 PM
I understand why there are gambling platforms like this because they avoid those possible crimes on the internet like money laundering and probably will lead to hacking which is gambling si prone on that common crime. Nevertheless, if you do not agree with TOS then, do not use the site.

If that's the logic behind the their actions, then that's absolute bullshit. It doesn't make them any less susceptible to hacking or money laundering.

Are you saying those with verified IDs can't or don't engage in money laundering how you do you even determine a cryptocurrency is being laundered ? other than the amount in play ? and moreover, how come it's only when users win big on these sites they're considered to be suspected money launderers ?

The term "X reserves the rights to do Y" are often misused by gambling platfroms, If you wanted your gamblers verified, then do so at all cost before they are allowed to make any deposit/or place bets on your platform, not after they've won big you then enforce certain terms under the guise of ToS.

If they do not care about the identities of those making deposits on their platform, why then are they so worried about who they are about to pay ? That's pretty shady.
6108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: March 02, 2020, 05:19:00 PM
The elclasico was a fantastic match yesterday and it reiterates my facts that Valverde is still a better coach than setien.
Imagine trying to choke Madrid with cms?

Overall it was a good match, courtious pulled up fantastic saves and Vincius is developing well too.
Madrid is now top of the league and perhaps their consistency will win them the league

Valverde lacked tactics, I'm saying that Setien is any better than Valverde for Barcelona, but Valverde had more options in the attack than Setien have, and Real Madrid not any more consistent than Barcelona as far as this season is concerned. Both have been shitty and they should teams shold be glad that Atletico are not in a better shape too, If not this could be as season Atletico would have easily won the league.
6109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multi-accounts, the industry-standard and KYC. on: March 02, 2020, 03:51:25 PM
^ The people who would only try to avoid KYC are the ones who are trying to hide their identity because they did something. People with good intentions are most likely to provide their information to any platform without any hesitation and threat against it.

You're definitely wrong on this, KYC documents can easily be doctored or bought on the internet, not everyone trying to at all cost avoid KYC have something to hide, rather they'd prefer to keep their anonymity since that's the major reason for betting using cryptocurrency to begin with.

In addition to what the OP and other people have pointed out so far, In my candid opinions IP address should never be the sole determining factor for multi accounting, I remember when I joined this forum over a year ago, I was told to pay an evil fee simply because my IP has been used to commit atrocities on the forum, meanwhile I've never heard of the forum prior to that and I was only here to fulfill an airdrop requirement, I'm sure a lot of users would have encountered the same thing then wonder how come.

Another user line in their TOS usually is one account per household, so a better with large family and a few gamblers would always have to be worried about where others are gambling so as to not get flagged for multi accounting ? Or would have to ensure that no one uses the home wifi router to access gambling sites inorder not to get flagged  ? More often than not these terms are too extreme and always unfair mostly to the users.
6110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 02, 2020, 02:34:44 PM
PICK : BLAZERS +7 and ml.

I'm tailing with you on this...

However, I'm going with the San Antonio Spurs vs Indiana Pacers match up for my pick for today. Indiana Pacers seemed to have found their momentum yet again after a bad run they're 5-1 from the last six games which includes a win against Milwaukee bucks. Pacers have a full and healthy squad, I'm backing them on the Road today.

My Pick:

Indiana Pacers -2.5
6111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 02, 2020, 10:30:11 AM
My Pick:
Dallas Mavericks -6.5

Lakers -2.5

And that's 6 in a row! Wow!  Shocked

The streak is still on for Harkorede, you hit a parlay on Lakers and Dallas bet, wow, this is a serious run man, I should not take this for granted.
Give us some parlay here please, there are plenty of games tonight, for sure you can choose the best one.

Bucks vs Heat, Bucks here only -3.5, is it a good bet?

That's a very good bet imo, aside from the fact that Buck are playing back to back, but since they didn't play upto expectations yesterday, you could argue that were think of this game which woud be expected to be tougher, and moreover Bucks are always more reliable when playing better teams, they tend to be more focused.
6112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coronacoin on: March 02, 2020, 01:09:22 AM
You mean this https://coronatoken.org/whitepaper/

Seems a new idea but really, this is bullsh*t, same thing to those spam tokens this will end after WHO ends this virus.

You will always be amazed by the number of irrelevant projects launched for even more ridiculous reason, why do we need a shit coin just record the number of deaths or infection of a virus ? And it's boldly written on the shitty website "The world's first crypto backed by the proof of Death",  who proves the death ? WHO ? Or each family who lost someone to the virus will need to submit an autopsy reportnor death certificate.
6113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 02, 2020, 12:45:17 AM
@Harkorede, you got an early win on the Dallas Mavericks, they easily covered that spread, now you only need the Lakers to win and cover for you to have a perfect night. GL as always.  Grin

Oh yeah, he is hot-streaking right now, i tried to jinx him twice but it didn't work...he can't miss.  Grin

Oh, that was a good game from Mavericks, even with Doncic not playing, Seth Cury was impressive yet again after his monster show against the Heat, He's probably hotter than mean right now  Grin

Why did i have to pick Kings at home though? They are down 15 points after the first quarter to Detroit. Pistons are supposed to lose, tank, get them L. They are about to screw another parlay for me. Well at least, i got my live bet right, on a low scoring game between the Bucks and Charlotte.

Kings were able to close the gap to within one in the 2nd quarter and are now in the lead here in the 3rd, there should be no problems for them here on.

BTW for Pelicans vs Lakers: Anthony Davis will not play tonight, line has jumped to 1.5 for the Lakers all the from the initial -2.5, Let's wait and see.
6114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: March 01, 2020, 11:48:37 PM
Despite preferring betting on sports then (football mostly), my favorite story would come from a Dog Race betting (There was a local outlet I usually visit to watch the dog racing and see people bet on them, and I had a note book which I record the odds, name of Dogs and the eventual outcome, all with the hope that some day, the bet same race would repeat and I will bet big on the triple, double (as we call it) or quinella which means predicting the exact 3 dogs to finish 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd in the specific order for triple/double or in any order for quinella. After several days of writing jotting the races outcomes, I never saw anything similar to what I had written and the it came to an extent that I don't even get enough time to got through everything I had written down before yje race would commence so I just kept skipping each race, I got fed up and ditched the jotter.

About 3days after I ditched my jotter, I placed a bet on triple and I won some money after few races went by, I placed another bet a tripple again with higher odds this time and I couldn't believe it when I won, I can't remember how much exactly it was that I won then, but then I remember vividly that I used the money to get my best smartphone as of then, a BlackBerry Bold 5 (9900), It was highly in vogue as of then and I became quite famous in the neighborhood.

PS: I'm not in for the prize, as I won't be available to travel.
6115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 01, 2020, 10:23:22 PM
Philadelphia is playing tonight first of 4 games away , starting in LA against Clippers, and i must say that they are looking good so far, despite being without both Simmons and Embidd. Currently they lead 87-82 in Q3. Shake Milton is having a crazy game tonight, already scored 29 , while shooting 5/6 for three, and Harris not playing bad either.

I'm pretty much surprise with how well they've played so far this night, it's hard to believe that they were 12.5 favorites, the 3rd is almost  over and 76ers are trailing by 4.

I think Clippers we see this through eventually.

6117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 01, 2020, 01:57:55 PM
Who will bet for the Pelicans against the Lakers? They need that win. They might play harder now.

I'm going Lakers on this...

I'm going with 2 picks for today, simply because I'm having a hard time choosing either.

1. Timberwolves vs Dallas Mavericks
Dallas Mavericks won the most recent match up between both sides, just about a week ago, though they were double-digits point favorite in that game. I'm backing on them to record another win on the road today in a good rhythm.

My Pick:
Dallas Mavericks -6.5

2. Pelicans vs Lakers
Lakers coming in back to back on this game, after a surprising defeat to Grizzlies last night, Pelicans indeed needs a win here as they are pushing a for playoff spot with only 1.5 games behind Grizzlies, but I think they'll live to air their desperations against another team.

My Pick:
Lakers -2.5

6118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 01, 2020, 05:11:06 AM
Did you do it?

Oh, no I didn't. Grizzlies against Lakers with Bron and AD available, I never would have, to be honest.

I've not been into upsets and/or parlays these days, I can hardly find 3/4 games that I'm very comfortable with recently, so I'm just keeping the focus on my daily single bets.
6119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 01, 2020, 04:59:15 AM
Wow crazy results so far - 0 pts for me so far  Wink

Liverpool really missed 2 of their most underrated players - Milner and Henderson !
You're not only one with 0 points so far. Wooden spoon - here I come! Now I'm afraid to watch to the table Cheesy.
After this Liverpool loss, I started to doubt that Arsenal the Invncibles achievement can repeated in the near future. EPL is just too competetive.

I'm still down with zero points for this round, but seeing the genius Tokeweed on the same numbers means I'm not doing anything wrong right?

And here's Watford's rather funny tweet in reply

6120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: March 01, 2020, 04:33:22 AM
My Pick:

Indiana Pacers -6

And that makes it 4 in a row!  Smiley

So much injuries in Grizzlies team. I don't think they can win this against the strong Lakers.
Boston vs Houston though might be a good game. I will watch this one rather than watching the Lakers hammering the Grizzlies.  Grin

My bets for tonight.
Houston -1.5 @1.94

Same with Warriors. Too many injured players.
Difficult to risk even against the Suns.  Huh But I am greedy. So let's go Warriors!!  Cheesy @4.90

Look at you! Greediness got you your bet on the Warriors (Congrats!) but, if only you were more greedy you'd have bagged another 5+ Odds from Grizzlies vs Lakers, what a total shambles from Le Bron and co. They won just a single quarter (4th Quarter), that was an epic fail!
