6101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chimera - A Privacy Ecr20 Token on: April 07, 2020, 08:11:32 PM
I have worked with a privacy coin before (not going to name them) and I was actually part of the team for a while as well so I know the insides and outs of a privacy coin and how it is perceived by the public and could be helpful in this regard. I would like to start by saying that nobody really cares about extra layers of security and privacy you are providing because for 99% of the population even bitcoin is enough privacy.

For people who are not really interested in something like this, you can't do marketing enough, you can spend millions of dollars into telling people who awesome your privacy is and if they are not interested they will not become interested. Plus, when you are doing a brand new project and the thing you are most talking about is not really that much desired, it will be even harder to get people to use it as well.
6102  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think about Arbitrage trading... on: April 06, 2020, 09:37:41 AM
There is no such thing as free lunch in the markets; price differences always have reasons, which mean that 99,9% are untradable because either the exchange is shutdown, nodes are under maintenance, withdrawals are suspended, exchange is a scam, or because the volatility is temporarily extreme and that it is nearly suicidal to even try it
I agree and disagree at the same time here. Nothing is free or comes into our pocket without efforts. But, unlike you mentioned, I have completed many successful arbitrage trading across exchanges hence I cannot agree trying arbitrage trading is suicidal. In my view it has less risky and instant profits but spotting them is too hard. We need to spend more time on multiple exchanges and need to trade in quick manner to catch the price differences.

The reasons you have mentioned are practical as I have seen only due to "non-trade-able" conditions the price differences are appearing which means there is no actual arbitrage opportunity lies there. But, with few low volume trading pairs, we may spot out price differences but this needs lots of patience and dedications.

You’d better educate yourself and try your luck with mid-long term trading strategies which have been yielding solid returns until now, rather than trying this near zero profit business only accessible to the most advanced and well funded traders.
Mid to long term strategies are cup of tea for most traders still calling arbitrage opportunities as near zero profit business is inappropriate. I am sure about spotting an arbitrage trading monthly once and its profit level varies based on volume yet I believe it worth to risk.
6103  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Simple trading advise for newbe that should follow on: April 04, 2020, 06:00:14 AM
Data is the most important thing you can have while trading, it may not be always 100% right and you may lose some money because of it but to trade without data means you are going in blind and have bigger reasons to lose money.

Compare these two people together, one looks at the chart, checks out indicators, reads the history, does his own TA and decides on what the price will do in the future depending on all of those data points, the other sees the price going up and buys. Which one do you really think has bigger chance to make money? There could be days when the second one is right, there could be more money with that person to actually change the game to his option, however almost all the time the first person will have the profit instead of the second one.
6104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 03, 2020, 07:35:39 PM
I would understand if the whole reason why NBA wants to come back is to put butts in the seats so that people wouldn't go outside but I know in my heart 100% that the only reason why the owners would want to come back would be the hundreds of millions of dollars they are losing.

Do not forget that contracts are not voided, sure they are insured but for how much and how much of it does the owner get back, which means owners are right now paying hundreds of millions of dollars, a combined of billions of dollars together, just 30 people paying billions, plus penalties and so forth, and not earning one single dollar from it.

They want NBA to continue just because of that reason, they want to make some of it back, even if not all of them, they want to make sure they get a bit of return. That is not an acceptable reason to continue honestly, keep them at home and safe, let the billionaires suffer, they can take it, at worst they can sell their teams for billions of dollars and still profit from it.
6105  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 - The major reason for the current fall of Bitcoin on: April 03, 2020, 01:28:47 PM
All the companies who are not working right now, not all business could be done from home, some business sent people home and make them work remote and that could work but do not forget that there are thousands of people who can't work because their job requires them to be there, all of those business' stopped right now and not working and not making any money at all.

It is vital to think like that because all of those business' can't make any money right now, sure some of them can stay afloat until they get back because they have saved up some money for days like these, but many of them will bankrupt, or they will fire people or they will send people to unpaid leave, all of those equals to economy not having money as much as they used to have.
6106  Economy / Speculation / Re: Types of People on this Corona Virus crisis which group you belong? on: April 02, 2020, 07:15:15 PM
Definitely a panic seller. I have been in crypto world for over 7 years now, I have never been a panic seller, never really sold anything at any moment because I was scared or anything, never been part of a reason why bitcoin dropped.

However this time is different, I sold right now from "panic" but that panic wasn't related to bitcoin, it wasn't because "what if it drops further", I literally didn't cared about the price at all, I would have sold if the price was 100 dollars or 100k dollars, I would have sold all the same because I needed the money, this virus made sure that I am stuck at home and can't go outside and that means I need to spend money constantly to restock my shelves and always be ready for the worse for a day when I may not be able to go out.
6107  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic Coronvirus Impact On Global economy on: April 02, 2020, 06:09:25 PM
I doubt that decentralized economy could ever be a thing while the politicians and the capitalists works together to make a world that runs for them and not from them. Think about it, media is controlled by people who are super rich, financial world is controlled by people who are super rich, oil companies are controlled by people who are super rich.

What happens is they get together, they pay the politicians hefty bribes, the financial company pays the oil company money to do what they do and media company airs it live as something awesome and deems everyone who criticizes it as devil and what happens? They all make more and more profits. Now this was just one example, the world basically runs like that and as long as we keep voting for those bad politicians there will never be a decentralized economy.
6108  Economy / Economics / Re: Oil price War will Bring real War soon in Middle east on: April 01, 2020, 06:37:58 PM
Military budgets are not really all that important during a war unless you are ahead of everyone like USA. Usually economical budget is much more important. Could there be a war with weapons and killing?

Maybe, who knows? But the real trouble here is, countries basically putting embargo against each other and not giving their oil for these prices. When one nation stops selling oil and all other nations follow, the oil price will sky rocket back to what it was. Economical warfare is a bigger possibility nowadays than actual war, even in countries in middle east they would prefer to have a war on economical sense then an actual war if they can. However if a real war breaks out, oil is waaaaay too important so there will be other first world nations who will intervene.
6109  Economy / Economics / Re: The Economic Pain Won't Stop on: April 01, 2020, 05:36:45 PM
It "will" stop, but not before it hurts everything way too much. From inflation to unemployment to many other stuff the world economy will be in big shambles. Is there a way to get out of this? Sure governments will find a way to pump up more cash and help out the companies in need and basically recover from this in long term but it will not be anytime soon, it will take years and years of building back up before we can reach where we were and actually go above. That is why I am saying it "will" and not it will, because it will pass but at what cost?

For example 2008 passed, we are right now doing better in stock market than what happened in 2008, we are higher than 2007 previously before it went down as well, but it took is almost a decade to reach there.
6110  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank zero rate mean to men and women top 10 on: April 01, 2020, 04:12:48 PM
Are we a little bit overreacting maybe? I mean we are talking about rates going to zero I get that but "if fed pays 100 dollars for bigmac, you need to pay 100 for bigmac" is a little bit too much reaction don't you think? Inflation has always been a thing in the whole world and in every nation, just recently in 2019 I think (or maybe started earlier but I heard about it in 2019) Venezuela had such a huge one that people literally starved to death.

So, I would say it is not nice that fed has zero rates, the inflation will go up higher than usual, but it is still inflation, it is still reasonable, it is not like "men will commit crimes and women will start selling themselves" type of doom story. For that to happen we really need corona to kill half of the whole world.
6111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Finalizing Deal to Purchase CoinMarketCap! Can CMC Stay Neutral? on: April 01, 2020, 03:41:11 PM
I can't belive cmc could worth anything remotely close to 400 million dollars. I mean that is literally crazy to think about, 400 MILLION DOLLARS? Really? Maybe 4 million dollars is okay but 400!!! That is waaaaaay more than I assumed it could ever worth. Surely they must have done their math and there must be some INSANE number of people visiting everyday and the advertisement could be really huge etc etc which means cmc must really worth something around 400 million that I have no idea why but can be actually bought.

In the end it will be more like satoshidice if you ask me. Satoshidice was the biggest and for the longest time only crypto gambling place, someone bought it for thousands of bitcoin spending millions of dollars of that day (lot more now) and now its all gone as you can see.
6112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which currency will popular in next bullrun? on: April 01, 2020, 01:30:14 PM
We are not Nostradamus, none of us can actually know which one will be higher than the others, we can only assume which one could be but that doesn't mean anything, I can just go to random number website and give it a number between 1 to 3000 and just tell it to randomize and it will give me some random number and I can check coinmarketcap to see which coin is that number on the rankings right now and tell you that coin will be the best coin in the next bull run and I swear to god it would be as logical as trying to predict the future by looking at indicators and other data, all of them are useless equally right now.

Personally I decided to stay in usdt for a while, safer that way and I will not be going crazy with each move that way since it is volatile once again.
6113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Want to invest on: April 01, 2020, 12:18:36 PM
I don't know how much money you have to tell you what you should be investing into. If you told us how much money you are willing to invest we can tell you something about that. For example, if you have anything under 1000 dollars I would say just buy bitcoin and leave it be, it doesn't worth the risk to buy anything else with such a low amount, maybe squeeze in some ethereum in there if you want but usually just bitcoin is enough for low amount.

If you have anything between 1k-10k levels you can buy bitcoin, ethereum, xrp, bch, ltc, xmr, bnb and top it off with some usdt just in case, you can pick only some of them or pick all of them, or make your own choice from the top 10 however you want (except bsv). If you have over 10k, that becomes too much and you can just invest whatever you want with 90%+ being the top coins and %10 or so being whatever small coin you want.
6114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Coins Rally After covid what will be%? on: April 01, 2020, 10:40:52 AM
Nobody really understands how well we are doing right now, everyone should be expecting a lot worse but for some reason we are not doing as bad as we imagined we would and that is the real tricky part. Not just crypto, because crypto is doing very well, it didn't dropped all that much considering the whole world is staying at home and everyone needs money to spend right now, that is marvelous and exceptional.

No, the deal is everything is doing fine for now, stock markets, gold, basically everything, hell even governments have started to help their people as well with the money they have, German has been spending billions of dollars to keep the death number low for example, Italy has been spending so much money that I didn't even know they could afford it. Its weird times.
6115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 31, 2020, 05:50:04 PM
I doubt anything will change for the future of Liverpool, I mean at the worst case this season will be cancelled, I am still suspicious about a cancellation, I think all leagues are still waiting and postponing and postponing until a point where we are actually not free from the virus but at least we have a cure and a good treatment, they will be back when that happens.

Maybe it will take 2 more months, maybe it will take 6 more months, but in the end it will end one way or another. Will the leagues come back and start when they left off? I don't know but even if we start fresh from 2021 season Liverpool is still definitely the best team in premier league and maybe they won't be this good anymore but they will still get the championship if they keep the team intact.
6116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can crypto gambling be provably fair to regulators? on: March 31, 2020, 04:05:44 PM
Provably fair is provably fair, there is no reason to check anything else, even if casino itself creates a user themselves and gamble they do not hold any advantage that is not in the gamblers itself, they are risking as much as other gamblers. The only thing they can actually get out of creating some gamblers themselves (so faking the user number) would be marketing, if you have hundreds of people playing on your website at all times others will think you are cool and will join as well and you will have organic 100+ instead. That is literally the only thing I can think of right now.

There could also be competitions of wagering where they fake numbers and just lose to themselves to get the win and not pay to others. However, there is no stealing investors money by gambling, you lose equally at all times even if you are the house making a new gambler.
6117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 2020 be exactly what we hoped for anymore on: March 31, 2020, 02:54:30 PM
Good day friends and family on here, here are few questions disturbing my little mind since I wasn't expecting this virus this year, I thought this year will actually be the best since years ago, but it seems I'm wrong

1. Will Bitcoin halving have impact on crypto market this year with the virus outbreak?
2. Is Coronavirus benefiting crypto at all?
3. Will New projects be able to proceed with launching and development in this outbreak?
4. What do you think will happen to bounties this year ?
Well, these are all future profits that bitcoin is collecting today. For example the first question is "will bitcoin have an impact on crypto market with the virus out break" well bitcoin will have an impact on crypto market no matter what happens, it is bitcoin, it is most of the crypto market all by itself, so I don't get it.

However second question is the benefits, well it may or may not benefit right now, but the good part is it will benefit a lot in the future when people see that we come out of this like nothing happened, that will be the real deal that properly fixes things in the future. Basically the whole world finances are going down and it is going to be even worse, whereas we are doing alright and we will have halving so we will basically be better than anything else.
6118  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Gambling Affiliate Program? on: March 31, 2020, 08:55:17 AM
Honestly, all casino affiliates are bad casino affiliates as long as you do not keep up constantly getting more and more money. What you need to hope is the people you bring spends more money than you spend on the marketing to get those people.

If you spend ten bucks and get someone who spends hundred that means you can now spend that hundred to get more people and so forth, that way you can keep it going forever until you have such a big amount of affiliates that what you are spending to keep the marketing going wouldn't matter to you, however you will NEVER be able to stop, as soon as you stop you will see your affiliates are already diminishing in number of games they play, and since there are no new ones you are not going to see any future profits and eventually run out of affiliates who play.
6119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the safest crypto online games to start if you are a Newbie? on: March 31, 2020, 08:22:26 AM
Easily dice, dice is both provably fair so you know that you are not getting scammed by anyone if you are careful enough, and also it is very simple, you just click on the roll button and you gambled! Of course you can make it more and more complicated, you can start using scripts and bots and all that jazz if you go into that level but eventually we are talking about gambling at it is purest form of rolling some dice and either winning or losing.

Playing cards is quite difficult, I tried to learn poker for a while and it became very very tough and didn't really mastered it because it was too hard for me, sports betting is cool but you still need to know the teams, lottery is basically one in a life time chance thing. That is why dice is much better than all of them for a newbie.
6120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading signals... on: March 31, 2020, 07:14:48 AM
Sharing a strategy would seriously be killing it if enough people do it. Do you guys know why many indicators start to look like they don't work anymore compared to past? Because, too many people look at it and trade accordingly and that causes the indicator to not really work properly anymore, when you throw in so much money that it ruins that makes no sense to keep using it and that is why it stops working as well as it used to.

So, I understand why crycryptocry doesn't want to share his strategy, what matters here is not his strategy anyway, if he thinks there is a signal he wants to share and he is sure about he will share here, so you will go ahead and check if he is right or not and maybe he is wrong, in that case nobody will care about it and he will slowly stop, if he is right more than he is wrong that means people will follow him and do what he does and make money.
