6101  Economy / Economics / Re: Money printing and inflation whos payed allready for this ? on: January 11, 2021, 10:52:05 PM
That's what really will happen if inflation hits a country. The purchasing power of a normal citizen will become lower and it's become harder because too many jobs were lost and many have been dependent on the government which made them print as much money as they can.
This is not just for the US but also for other countries that did it. It's the US that's getting the attention of the printing of money but there are also other countries that did it.
In fact, the situation is not very clear, because it is not known how many jobs will be lost, and in extreme cases lives, if the government does not print the right amount of money, and you yourself should understand that with partial and full lockdowns and increased health care costs, there is no hope for ordinary sources of income in the form of taxes. At the moment, this seems to be the best solution to the problems, but of course it can be painful to return later in the form of increased inflation.
We've been into lockdown and too many jobs were frozen and some companies can't cover the expenses through rents and they can't really operate anymore.
It doesn't matter how many jobs were lost but in fact, they're really a lot. People wouldn't complain and if they hadn't lost anything. But the good thing that there are still those affected people that find a way through doing hustle instead of complaining and depending on the printed money for the aid by the government.

Good luck guys and hopefully this will help you invest wisely. This is not financial advise make your own decisions please ...
It is good that you're giving an idea to everyone which coins do you think will take off. Neo and Gas are also considered good altcoins by holders of them but we don't know for those that don't hold them, maybe not.
I don't advice anyone not to buy into old projects reason being that they have many bag holders, what do you think will happen to the price when it hit the price I bought it, I will sell. These bag holders are just waiting for new people to sell their bags to. I will rather buy new projects where there is enthusiasm is still high at the price is going to the moon
I think it's ok to buy them if you are sure what you're buying. There are many old projects that are still good up to date. Like, Litecoin, XMR and even Doge.
6103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What drives alt season? on: January 11, 2021, 10:04:23 PM
I've been seeing lots of posts here and on twitter about altcoin season.  But other than a backward-looking phrase (that's not useful for forward trades), what is alt season?  Are there times when alts pump and, crucically, we can predict alts will pump even more?  Or is it purely "hindsight is 20/20" way of looking coin prices?
The only prediction that we can give for the altcoin season coming is every after bitcoin's bullish turn. That's the cycle that we've seen before and that season is the pump for altcoins. You may have noticed that it did pump after bitcoin got into $42k and turned low after it has hit that ATH. You can predict as much as you can in alts, there's nothing wrong in predicting as it's just a guess for the price which or which not shall happen anytime soon.
6104  Economy / Economics / Re: Money printing and inflation whos payed allready for this ? on: January 11, 2021, 09:40:05 PM
And with inflation, we really are likely to see bitcoin $100k - $1M if the printing continues.
Federal reserve is serial money printer
They have to print money as aid for their citizens in the fight against the pandemic. But it's expected to bring inflation, higher inflation with trillions of money that have printed.
And we'll see it affect bitcoin to increase in price.
One way or another, inflation is felt very strongly by ordinary people, especially those who have lost their jobs and possibly other sources of income. Based on this, the purchasing power of people has decreased compared to the period before the pandemic. But since the value of national currencies decreases, this gives more chances for the development of the cryptocurrency market, through attracting new users and new investments. I personally know those people who tried to invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum by withdrawing possible funds from bank accounts.

6107  Economy / Speculation / Re: to sell or buy BTC? on: January 10, 2021, 10:25:46 PM
what should we do if we have some bitcoin at this time, regarding the increase in bitcoin prices that we see today, of course the value is very high compared to the increase in the past years, so do we have to sell some bitcoins at the current price, or even we add value to the amount of BTC that we have today by buying it at the current price for us to store for quite a long time ,?
What are the suggestions & opinions of all of your friends who are here?
Your question isn't that hard to answer. Do you want to profit? sell. It's all you have to do but if you have plans for more than the price we have today, sell only what you like to take in cash.
We still have a long way to go before selling entirely your bitcoin stash or at least leave some bitcoin at your stash for future proofs.
6108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange in US must face regulations? on: January 10, 2021, 10:06:31 PM
I want to confirm if this claim from EZ365 team sounds good enough to have some patience, the team claimed that due to SEC and regulation problem is why they haven't launched their exchange and the exchange is in US, can this really cause the delays?
SEC is strict and whoever that team is could be telling the truth. There's a hot issue with SEC against projects like XRP and may also affect other projects and other services and businesses that are related to cryptocurrencies.
That's why exchanges have a different portal/platform for US citizens just like Binance. While the others that are US based, don't have to do it as long as they're from US.

6111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people seem to value 1 full BTC? on: January 10, 2021, 10:58:31 AM
I see lots of people placing value specifically on owning full (1) BTC. Is this just a flex, or is there some advantage to this, versus just owning some fractions of BTC?
Obviously, you have more if you own 1 whole bitcoin than just fractions. And whenever the price increases by $1,000, you'll feel the gains.
Unlike with the slightest amount that you have in fractions, you barely feel the gains.
6112  Economy / Economics / Re: Money printing and inflation whos payed allready for this ? on: January 10, 2021, 10:31:49 AM
AFAIK, there could be another $3T that will be injected on Biden's term. And I don't know if it's just the first batch on his term and there will be another series of it soon.
It's no wonder BTC keeps moving up for all we know their governments are also buying BTC.
And with inflation, we really are likely to see bitcoin $100k - $1M if the printing continues.
6113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The price of Bitcoin broke $40,000 for the first time. on: January 10, 2021, 09:58:18 AM
The price of Bitcoin broke $40,000 for the first time.
And on the same day of January 8, bitcoin hit $41k for the first time too. While today, the price is $41k again.
I estimate that the price of bitcoin this year will move in the range of $100,000 per btc to $200,000 per btc
Many predictions were said with the same price as you.
$ 100k is still too far for now,
Not that far anymore. We're just $4900 last year and it's $40k, that's not far anymore if we'll include the past year's movement of bitcoin.
6114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Gatehub scam? on: January 10, 2021, 09:36:54 AM
I've never used that exchange but you have to wait for their response on what actually happened.
Many people are complaining about them asking for ID verification, which I'm ok with. But this is very scary.

I have emailed their support, I hope they reply back soon.
This story makes me worry about your transfer but I hope that I'm wrong with that worry and they shall help you with the concern that you've sent to them. Wait if they'll respond to you within 24 hours or less than that.
6115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Issue withdrawing from Metamask on: January 10, 2021, 09:15:45 AM
Just set and increase the fee, just keep trying until it's able to be pressed. Ethereum transactions today are quite high and the fees should have been increased for you to continue.
It will be allowed once you hit the right and recommended fee.

Even trying to send just 15$ worth of ETH, it doesn't activate the button.

Thanks tabas
Yeah, even you send just $10 or $15 if you don't pay the fee that's recommended by the network. It won't pursue.
Just check how much the recommended fee for the gas by this time if it's not yet sent.
6116  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why did Bitcoin raise past $30,000? on: January 10, 2021, 08:50:06 AM
I don’t know why Bitcoin plummets, but it seems to be a gamble with all sorts of currencies.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Bitcoin is volatile which makes it risky. It is not a surprise if we see it plummet. But it plummets to $30k? that's a good buy if you see the price today.
Many would rush to buy it if it will step back to that price. But it is staying on $40k and that's harder to see it step back on $35k. The lowest that we saw for a correction was $37k.
6117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: So is it appropriate for us to BUY XRP now? on: January 09, 2021, 04:17:44 PM
Buy, if you like to buy.
The risk is known because of SEC and if you like to pursue it, there are still exchanges that haven't removed it. Meaning, that they're still having it but they might surprise with an announcement of removing it.
That's the risk buying XRP has now.

6119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin has the most investment value in the cryptocurrency field? on: January 09, 2021, 12:45:14 PM
From the coinmarketcap, we could see lot of coins and tokens listed on daily basis. Some have potential to give investors good returns while some are just shitcoins that drain one hard earn money. This year is anticipated to be a bullish year for crypto, what is the best crypto you will stockpile outside Bitcoin.  before the closed of the first half of the year.
Next to bitcoin and that's Ethereum.
I think we should buy Bitcoin first. Institutional investments in Bitcoin continue and I think it will continue until 70000 dollars. At the same time i can recommend Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Waves.
He just said 'outside bitcoin' which I understand as except bitcoin. He prolly knows that bitcoin is the best option but there are investors that also sees the potential in the altcoins especially if the season of it comes.
6120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think of Vechain, Tron, & XRP ? on: January 09, 2021, 10:00:05 AM
You can start to accumulate XRP with small volumes but never go more than you can't afford to lose.
I won't take the risk of buying it while having a case against the SEC. I don't think that's a smart buy although if there are risk-takers here and see it as a buying opportunity. You need to wait until they settle their problem and that will determine if it's a good buy or not anymore.
The TRX has a future like Doge and an only a small percentage of your altcoin portfolio should be Tron.
Doge has no more future. It's just a meme coin that's made but still built its community and liked by everyone.
