You clearly aren't happy with your current state of life, so my best advice is to quit being a puss. You realize gambling all the time is not fruitful, yet you continue to do it. You really just need to mature a bit and decide what you want in life. Nothing is going to be given to you in this world (well, maybe if the Democrats continue winning elections), you need to go out and earn it. Unless you're happy living in a 1 bedroom apartment for life, I would get educated, find a trade/career, and do something with your life. No one here can make you do it, you have to man up and quit being such a derelict. This kind of addiction is mental, be stronger than it.

Everything you said is true, but I'm not sure how helpful it is.

"Take responsibility for your own situation" is indeed the answer, but that's easier said than done.

Well I won't make negative comments if he pays everyday as he promised. If he doesn't pay everyday like yesterday he should expect negative comments.

The problem is that he can't. There's no way to guarantee 12% profit per day.

price is breaking through support line and no volume

I think the support line was due to my large buy orders.

I pulled them when I saw this massive number of virgin clams being staked.

The price is holding up pretty well, considering.

It's a buy opportunity. Wink
6125  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: ★☆★ BtcInv.club | Bitcoin Investment |UP to 12% Daily Profit ★☆★ on: August 02, 2014, 12:05:50 AM
You are the one that said you would pay daily, when you miss a day it means you did not up hold your end of the agreement. You can uphold what you agreed too or you can expect negative comments.  It's that simple!

He deleted the last two posts I made which pointed out the impossibility of the offer he makes in this thread.

If this post is deleted too, I will post the deleted messages in a trust feedback posts instead.

Beware. OP doesn't want you to hear about how 12% per day isn't sustainable.

I've moved onto better more exciting things

In any case I am sorry for your 2 BTC, it was my fault and mismanagement on my part, I am a lot wiser now.

Do the better, exciting things generate enough income to allow you to start to repay the victims of your previous negligence?

looks like its dying Sad

slow and painful

somebody get a respirator...

What are the symptoms?

The network difficulty is at all all-time high - new CLAMs are being dug up all the time.

can you explain why exactly this is proof for provable fairness?
(basically the meaning of the generated numbers)

Here's what I did:

1) made a note of my server seed hash, as shown on the provably fair tab

2) made up a random client seed

3) played some rolls

4) requested a new server seed, revealing the old one

5) ran my script, which:

  a) checked that the server seed's hash in 1) matches the hash of the server seed in 4)

  b) checked that the client seed in 2) and the server seed in 4) combine to give the exact numbers I rolled in 3)

The generated numbers are the numbers I got when I rolled the dice.

The 5 steps above guarantee that the site had no way of picking which numbers I rolled (since step 2 happened after step 1) and that they actually used the client seed I provided.

It's a little complicated, but it does work.

In the event that I had a run of horrible rolls, I would much rather be able to check that I really was just unlucky rather than harbouring doubts about the site being "rigged". Bad runs happen, and so does cheating. The above process allows you to tell which is which.

How can I move my claim blockchian appdata to a usbstick?

When you run clamd or clam-qt, specific an extra argument:

  -datadir=<dir>         Specify data directory

That tells it where to look for the whole data directory, where wallet.dat, the chain, and everything else live.

If you're using Windows, you can probably make a shortcut icon then right-click->properties->target or something to edit in that extra parameter, but it's been a long time since I did anything like that so maybe it's changed (or I've forgotten).
6130  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hey I'm addicted to gambling what else can I do?? on: August 01, 2014, 07:32:56 AM
2. I don't wanna quit completely I just need to scale back alot.

That might not be an option for you.

When you quit smoking, did you ever try just cutting down? I've seen lots of people try that, and none succeed at it.

With addiction it seems to be that you stop, or you don't. There's no "scaling back".
6131  Economy / Gambling / Re: PRCDice.eu - INSTANT WITHDRAWALS- Bitcoin Dice - Rain Bot- Leaderboards - INVEST on: August 01, 2014, 07:23:21 AM
This is completely normal. There is a small hotwallet for instant withdrawals and if it's depleted or the withdrawal is too big it is manually processed.
Dean will do it when he comes on.

How small is it?

I read somewhere that 90% is offline. Doesn't that mean 10% should be online? That would be around 70 BTC.
6132  Economy / Gambling / Re: Withdraw bitcoins from gambling sites on: August 01, 2014, 02:23:48 AM
Remember the 0-confi deposits from inputs.io ? Sad

That's different. Making transfers off-chain requires no confirmations so long as you trust the person offering the off-chain service.

Unfortunately in the case of inputs.io such trust would have been misplaced.
6133  Economy / Gambling / Re: PRCDice.eu - INSTANT WITHDRAWALS- Bitcoin Dice - Rain Bot- Leaderboards - INVEST on: August 01, 2014, 12:37:45 AM
wow Doog, hahaha!

I played a little more:

I also wrote a stand-alone roll verifier in Python:

http://pastie.org/9435574

Use it however you like, or don't. Smiley

I withdrew 27 BTC. It wasn't instant, but I saw it on the network within 5 minutes of requesting it.

All in all not a bad experience, and the provable fairness checks out:

Code:
$ ~/Source/Python/prc.py
  1 95.9319
  2 12.3249
  3 39.6707
  4 69.5623
  5 73.4439

You remember how Seuntjie had a list full of "trusted" (really I should say "regulars"or "non-beggars") that were eligible for rain. What about a trusted list for regulars who the admin can risk giving the option for 0-conf deposits to. PD3 should have sometihng like that, it's worth suggesting to Stunna. Instant deposits AND cashouts would be amazing.

Never underestimate how much effort a scammer will go to in order to rip you off.

If you need to spend 100 hours on the site to "level up" enough to be trusted with 0-conf deposits, then that's what they'll do.

Since you are online and answering questions, why didn't you just sell JD as a whole? There's so many positive reasons that would have been better than just shutting it down. Everybody loved it.

Mostly because:

1) I wouldn't want people to see the site, think they could trust it because they know I own it, but actually be dealing with an unknown third party, and

2) I want the option of reopening it later.

3) I doubt anyone would be willing to pay enough to make it worth me selling it to them. I think the main value of the site is that people trust me. Other than that there's not much difference between it and any of the other crowd-funded dice sites.

Well u guys are stuck with avatars u had at that point Cheesy . To bad LOL .

How are u going after JD stooped business? Any new projects ?

What do u think of pd3 ?

Yeah, I didn't even know until recently when I tried to change it.

I'm enjoying not running JD - it was a lot of stress for a year with no time off.

I've not seen PD3. It would be a good idea to have a closed beta test before public launch. There are always things that are quick and easy to fix which you probably don't even notice if you've been looking at it day after day for months.

Yeah its probably just u Cheesy

I thought it might be. But it's definitely a very strong effect for me.

I try to keep chat as free as possible

Every time I see a Stunna post, for a split second out of the corner of my eye his avatar looks like a duck. Like a cartoon rubber ducky.

Then I look at it full on, and it looks nothing like a duck. It's weird.

Is it just me?

Yeah, that one.

Here's the short version:

sjess discovered that due to the way the site was designed, if you bet "over 27%" you won more than 27% of the time. He did it over and over again, won a bunch, tried to withdraw his winnings but wasn't allowed to.

Someone just dug up a ton of fresh clams

Hey, looking at your signature... can you get some 'clams' over at Pocket Rocket?

You need to talk to PocketRocketsCasino about accenting CLAM.

They already take BTC and DOGE, so I guess it wouldn't be a lot of work to add another coin.
