Do you really believe that, the strategies used by the gambling companies so called hooks will be revealed to the public?

Either this series was taken based on a book or some personal research but no one actually knows the hooks of gambling even if there is any because we are not seeing the gambling in 21st century or before which is happening for thousands of years.
I think people who watched that movie is just for entertainment because if they can watch carefully, maybe they will get something beneficial from that movie. Although if they use the strategy or method from that movie, it will not guarantee them to win the games, giving them more experience. Besides that, maybe watching that movie can provide them with an idea of what will they need to do later.
A common man who don't have any knowledge about economics, finance and particularly gambling can get the idea if they watch this series but no one can entirely decides what is happening while gambling, it will happen for sure even if people know that hooks that is why people keep betting and never wants to stop their gambling urge.
The situations will be different from what we see in that movie because we face the real situation. So maybe the strategy that we watch will not apply in real situations so we need to modify or even change it for our good. They still gamble with or without watching the movie, but it can give them more experience from that movie, especially how they can win the game with their own strategy. But always remember to control ourselves in gambling because we do not know what will happen in the real situation.
6122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: June 19, 2021, 10:05:50 AM
Easy for them to do that but there's always a risk on their side, that's an identity thief or they might not be able to go after the gambling site if they will file a case once the site is scamming its clients because they are not using their real identity. I don't know if there are still gambling sites that will offer anonymous gambling in the future, because wherever they are, as long as they are regulated, the government would always require them to implement a KYC as that is the standard for every government.
That is another problem that will a gambler face in the future if they decide to use a fake identity in the gambling casino. They hope that they can play gambling without a problem and if they can found a casino that does not require KYC, maybe they will stay at that casino without moving into the other casino. I guess there will still be a casino that does not require the member to fills KYC. I will not have a problem using the casino, which requires KYC but that will be better if we give our identity if we want to withdraw big money more than 1 bitcoin.
6123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big companies finally had enough of the excessive tax on: June 19, 2021, 09:07:55 AM
Usually this is the normal scenario where the government consult businesses with regards to the new implementation, and this should be in favor to both parties since many casinos are also suffering during this time of pandemic. Casinos are voicing out because of too much taxes, the government know there’s money in casinos but they can’t tax everything. It’s good that casinos are voicing out because this can benefit the gamblers as well.
When the casino can voicing out like that to the government, it will give more attention to the government to investigate why the casino does that. A good government will not just apply the tax or something else without discussing the related instances. They will call the casino owner and other instances to discuss the problem and solve it. The casino owner needs to hear the government and not just voice out their sound to the government. It requires understanding between the government and the casino owner to have a deal.

Maybe the government needs to approach the gambling owner and discuss more details with them so they know the problem that makes the gambling owner feel objection with the taxes that will apply to them.
Better to do so, there's always a good way to hear both sides and to know if what might the best solutions to solve the issue, government also needs to hear the other side and check if adjustments can still be done.
As long as both sides, the government and the casino owner, can share their problem and discuss, I am sure there will be a way to deal. The only thing they need to stay away from is a suggestion from the other party that is not related to their business and the government because they will ask for their benefit.

It needs more communication between the government and the gambling owner to find a win-win solution for both of them.
That's what they needed to do, bringing ideas that both side will benefits, gambling site owners also need to open up to make a better resolutions with their concerns.
Hopefully, it can bring them to have one agreement and the casino owner will follow that. If that can agree, the government will get the taxes, and the casino will not break the government's regulation and can still run their business.
6124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much power does Elon still have over the crypto markets? on: June 19, 2021, 08:05:52 AM
Before Elon enters crypto, he is a popular person with his Tesla and he has a huge fan of Twitter. And he thinks that he can use his popularity to influence the crypto, so he tweets about Dogecoin. His plan worked and made many people panic and buying Dogecoin in the rally of the price. And he did that again with Dogecoin and Bitcoin and boom. People seem not to care about his tweet again and do not like Elon.
Before 2020, Elon Musk tweeted about Dogecoin a few times and his tweets affected Dogecoin demand. Elon tested the market and he saw he can do something big with his twitter. I can't remember his first tweet about Dogecoin but perhaps it was in late 2018 or in 2019.

I don't see it as coincidence. It is test from Elon indeed. He tested and prepared things before he actually entered the manipulation games in 2020.
Maybe, but at that time, the market is at a bearish trend, making the crypto market at the lowest price and not moving higher. Maybe based on that time, Elon realizes that he can influence his fan to follow what he says. So he tried as what we saw and Dogecoin moves so high while many people are not predicted that coin can increase.

But we do not know how big Elon's power still has after this and maybe Elon has something that we do not know. But I hope Elon will not do the worst thing like before because that can make him in trouble.
Elon loves what he does in crypto market and he will not stop. He has love with money so he will not leave the crypto market. When one loves crypto, he can not leave it.
But if he can change his behaviour before, maybe he can become more popular after what he did. People only see what he do and if he is doing something wrong, people will easily judge him because of his mistake. So hopefully, he can change for the better, not just because he loves money and crypto.
6125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin, Dogecoin Gain After Musk's Tweets, But Will There Be Another Bull Run? on: June 18, 2021, 04:07:28 PM
Bitcoin will have another bull run, but I am unsure if Dogecoin has the next bull run. If bitcoin can increase to more than $75k, Dogecoin can follow increases but we do not know how high Dogecoin can increase. But after what happened to Dogecoin before, I think Dogecoin needs time to rise again. We need to wait and see what will happen to Bitcoin and Dogecoin, and hopefully, Bitcoin can increase again. The crypto market will have more surprises later.

6127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does implementing a tax on a gambling platform really help a country? on: June 18, 2021, 01:37:57 PM
Much of this depends on the level of corruption in the country. If the level of corruption is low, then of course any taxation will benefit the citizens, as the funds received from the budget will be used to solve important social problems, but the level of corruption is high, then it is likely to bring more negative consequences.
Indeed. We hope that the country officer does not commit corruption so the tax can directly send to the country balance without any cutting for the corruption. But if that is about big money from gambling, it will look like "hot money" for the corrupt officer or the officer who gets seduced to take some amount because of knowing the total amount of the tax money. Therefore, it really needs protection from clean officers who will guard the money against the corrupt people and the lesser officers who know about that money will be better.
6128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big companies finally had enough of the excessive tax on: June 18, 2021, 12:44:11 PM
I agree with those who oppose the government in applying excessive taxes, sometimes I also don't agree with what the government is doing to gambling companies,
Right from time government always kick against gambling because they seen it like a thing that will bring corruption to the society, if eventually all systems of government, government always dislike this because i dont think they are of benefit towards them, those gambling companies I'm not hundred percent sure that they pay tax or they generate revenue to government, if eventually they pay thier tax government will no be against them again, from the looks of things.
Maybe the government needs to approach the gambling owner and discuss more details with them so they know the problem that makes the gambling owner feel objection with the taxes that will apply to them. It needs more communication between the government and the gambling owner to find a win-win solution for both of them. I am sure that the government can get the taxes from gambling while the gambling owner will not object to the government's tax amount.

6130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prayer and gambling. on: June 18, 2021, 10:43:42 AM
Praying has nothing to do with our bets. We pray for our wants, but that does it mean we can already get what we want when we pray especially if it is about gambling. For me, we have the same God. It just depends on your beliefs but we have one God. I already experience praying before betting, like 'please make me win this time but not all the time it is granted because we are the ones who make our fate.
You can say that but for some people, they will pray before they gamble because that can increase their confidence in playing gambling. They consider that after they pray, their luck will come to them to win the games. But that will not always happen like that because no matter what we say, we will not win the game if we do not have luck in gambling. So human is unique because they still pray to GOD to play gambling, which is prohibited in their religion.
6131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My evolution to playing on Bitcoin casinos on: June 18, 2021, 09:32:34 AM
-Started gambling with bookies and in casinos and switched to online casino’s in the past 10 years.  Over the last few months I’ve been trying out some crypto currency casinos.  -
Seeing your 10-year experience, of course, we can not doubt your skills in gambling. Even though you are new at Crypto Gambling, but at least you already have a strong basis in gambling. And of course, you have understood the right to do gambling, especially in Crypto Gambling.
Yes right, anonymity might be one reason Crypto Gambling is an option. But now, we must be clever at choosing a platform, some gambling platforms may need KYC with your personal documents. And of course, this is one of the things that might not be liked. That is why later it can be more selective in choosing a gambling platform. More is not only related to anonymity but also security, reputation, and also reviews from previous users. It needs to be more alert to various crypto gambling that is fake or not reputable.
He has those experiences playing gambling, but if he plays gambling on the crypto gambling site, maybe he needs to try playing gambling on the crypto gambling site that we already had here. As @Wawa2013 said, we do not know the other gambling site except FortuneJack, which already with us for a long time ago and have a good reputation. Most gambling site here offers anonymity to the members so we do not have to worry about KYC.
6132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: June 18, 2021, 08:36:16 AM
Imagine, even if you are an underdog, you can gamble here since you can lie on your age when you sign up, and since there's no KYC, you can freely gamble without any problem as long as you don't gamble a lot that would ring a bell on the casino.
Truth to be told this also happens in fiat casinos, after all in my experience you are only asked for KYC information when you want to withdraw so you can deposit as much money as you want and gamble with it but as soon as you want to get your money out of their platform then you are hit with KYC, this means that kids can gamble with fiat as well with no problem and when we take into account that some video games allow you to gamble as well with real money then this is a risk that not only exists here.
This is when you do deal with fiat casinos online where you would need to comply KYC  unlike on crypto online casinos where you cant really be asked for
such information excluding into other casinos which had recently changed up their terms due to regulation reasons where there are such changes where in result into asking out those information and this is where crypto becomes popular due to anonymity on where you can freely play without giving out your information and without minding much that your information would be known but somehow it could really have some cons too.
Crypto casinos and KYC will always be related because crypto on one side offers anonymity to gamblers. But the government wants to know their customer and asking the casino to apply KYC for their members. Some casinos will follow the regulations, while the other casino that is out of that jurisdiction will not follow and will allow people to play gambling without KYC.

Nowadays, a gambler becomes smart. They know that when they are playing gambling using crypto, they will not have to send their identity to the casino and they can hide in their rooms and gamble and make money from gambling. As long as they do not make the alarm sound, they will be okay with playing gambling.
6133  Economy / Economics / Re: Is money the root of all evil as the poor to thinks? on: June 18, 2021, 07:34:46 AM
actually there is a truth where many people commit crimes because of money. with money they can enjoy a luxurious life, especially for those who have position, doing various ways to seek personal luxury. I think what the poor people think is true, but it's not all true, because there are still many officials who really think about the welfare of the people.
Maybe that is why the crime increases higher in someplace because people who commit crimes think that they must have much money to enjoy their lives. If they can think that committing crimes will not make their lives happy, they will think twice about doing that and search for other things to make money. But money is like a knife with two faces that can become good or bad, depending on how you can treat that money.
6134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My evolution to playing on Bitcoin casinos on: June 17, 2021, 05:00:36 PM
I did a bit of browsing and research and came up with a few ones that look legit and actually perform well, I thought I would share some findings with you:

Fortune Jack:
Customer service: 4, Fairness: 5, Regulations : 4, Offers: 4, Gen. Terms: 4 - SCORE /25: 21

7BitCasino:
Customer service: 2, Fairness: 4, Regulations : 5, Offers: 3, Gen. Terms: 3 -  SCORE /25: 17

LatinBet24: (still playing on it)
Customer service: 4, Fairness: 5, Regulations : 5, Offers: 5, Gen. Terms: 4 - SCORE /25: 23

Bitstarz:
Customer service: 4, Fairness: 5, Regulations: 5, Offers: 4, Gen. Terms: 4 - SCORE /25: 22

Cafe casino: (had a bad experience here with withdrawals)
Customer service: 2, Fairness: 1, Regulations : 2, Offers: 4, Gen. Terms: 3 - SCORE /25: 12

WildCasino: (looked good but now I have my doubts)
Customer service: 3, Fairness: 4, Regulations : 5, Offers: 3, Gen. Terms: 4 -  SCORE /25: 19

Tried all of the above and some others that are not even worth mentioning…
I ended up playing mostly on Latinbet24, their deposit bonus was legit and the sports betting and poker sections are great (which is what I do the most).

Hope this helps and please let me know what you think!
Wait , who gave you this gambling list? are youserious that pointing these all here in bitcointalk when there are only few of those that's been in this forum?

Bitstars and fortunejack are the only casino's that has been advertised here in bitcointalk.
He does not know that in this forum, we have so many recommended gambling sites that their reputations among the other gambling site, especially from his list. I do not know about his list except for bitstarz (although I am not yet playing gambling on that site).

Maybe he needs to search in the Gambling section to find many more gambling sites that already release from a long time ago. He can try to play gambling on every site to know that the crypto gambling site in this forum has so many lists..
6135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the motive behind the anti gambling campaign on: June 17, 2021, 03:41:38 PM
is it intended to deprive people like me of opportunities to make money.

I don't think so, you have little chances to make money from gambling and it will take some time before you can set up a method or your own strategy so you can win, the anti-gambling sentiments are from people who are once compulsive gamblers or had one of their family members, it is to warn people not to consume all their times and money to gambling and not to be deceived that you can make money in gambling.
But instead of being anti gambling why not make a information drive for how to handle gambling instead of telling them not to play because it is human nature that we love to do those things that is prohibited.
so not to ban gambling but to educate people instead.
and for me this is the best way to engage on this problems.
Maybe that is because people can forget about how to handle gambling and once they forget, they will hard to realize that they are like playing gambling and in the end, they can become addicted to gambling. If that happens, that will be too late to stop gambling, although that will not be impossible, especially if they can try hard to stop gambling.

The chance to win in gambling will not too big than losing the money. Gamblers should know about that and not trying hard to winning the games. Playing gambling with fun and not think about winning is what they need to do.
6136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Being unpredictable on: June 17, 2021, 02:41:18 PM
First deal with your emotions and the fear that comes with it. Many times gamblers tend to gamble with fear and end up selecting wrong games. If a gambler can tackle their emotions and greed the would have random wins and keep their winnings constant. But been unpredictable I feel it can't be 100% possible so you work on your psychology so you can as well predict the minds of your opponent.
If they fear losing their money, it is better they do not play gambling and never try to come to the casino. If someone can not deal with his emotions but still play gambling, he will not have a chance to take care of his money instead of losing it for a long time. The important here is always to control the emotion and greed because that will come to them even when they are playing gambling.
6137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: June 17, 2021, 01:39:51 PM
No way they can lie to the regulators, the regulators have all the tools to determine if the casino is telling the truth or not, and the penalty for such violation is very serious, it could put the owner or operator to jail and I don't think they'll allow that to happen. Once a casino is regulated and ordered to implement the KYC to all of its client, then the casino will just follow without condition.
Indeed. You are right. So it is better if they follow the regulation from their government and do not try to break them because that can impact their business. Maybe online gambling will become a solution for a gambler who wants to skip the KYC and stay anonymous. But well, we know that a gambler can easily find other gambling places or sites without a problem.

I hope so too. I have never given personal information to any gambling sites and I hope I will never even have to. As long as there is an option to gamble anonymously, I avoid casinos that require KYC verification. If this becomes impossible, I will stop gambling.

It seems to me that a lot of people are unaware of the potential dangers of their personal information being misused for criminal purposes.
That is good because we need to take care of our identification if we use the internet. We do not know what will happen to us if we easily spread our identity to other third parties. I guess the casino will still allow their members to play without verifying their account.
6138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: June 17, 2021, 12:31:03 PM
This is why I only gamble from time to time, when I feel I just need a break. But not to the point that I will do it regularly. And I will stop playing when I see that I am already consuming a lot of time on my game. I am not a regular gambler, so I can easily break the habit of playing. People should know their goals before even entering this game, otherwise, it is easy to lose yourself when you are already deep in your game.
It is not recommended to be a gambler who plays gambling every day because we will use more time just to play gambling and forget about the next activity that we must do. When we can manage our time and money to playing gambling, we will know when we need to break and do the other things. If we can do that, I am sure we can prevent becoming addicted to gambling. Losing the money will hurt us because we will not have a big chance to recover the losing money.
If you do play gambling on a constant manner even if you do say that you arent addicted ones then you would really most likely be ending up to be one.
Making it as a hobby will really mold you up as an addicted person and once yourself cant really able to resist and been finding to gamble even if you do skip out even just a single day then that what counts as an addicted person and we should really be careful with that kind of behavior. Dont say that you arent addicted but you do continously play on day to day manner and keep telling you are just playing for fun without realizing that you are spending up that much.
That is why we need to limit our time to playing gambling and as much as possible, we need to prevent from playing every day. We know how dangerous gambling and we need to prevent anything that can make us addicted to gambling. I do not recommend using gambling as a hobby because it will end you become an addicted person to gambling. We really need to learn many things to stay away from addiction because once we become addicted, it will hard to return ourselves. If they can control themselves in gambling, they can prevent becoming addicted because they know how to stop gambling right away.
6139  Economy / Economics / Re: Is money the root of all evil as the poor to thinks? on: June 16, 2021, 05:22:01 PM
We are created with a different mindset and that will depend on the environment we lived in. I agree that there is the biggest difference between the rich and the poor because they have different purposes.

The rich will think about how they can make more money from the other ways. While the poor think about how they will make money to survive. The same is how to make money, but there is a different purpose: to continue to survive for the poor while the rich will not think about that.

Money is not the root of all evil because that will depend on how we treat money. The rich people can spend the money without thinking while the poor think they will allocate the money to survive.
6140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does implementing a tax on a gambling platform really help a country? on: June 16, 2021, 04:26:16 PM
Never be afraid to say that almost all state officials are corrupt officials. Only a few of them are clean of illicit money from corruption and bribery because that is a fact of many countries today. We never know the actual amount of tax revenue from various source because they only announce the total amount without transparency. However, I only think positively that the tax will reduce the burden on the state and also help increase state treasury income.
You are right, I think so even my country has actually formed an anti-corruption agency. For countries that legalize gambling and collect taxes from these activities, this will be detrimental. Although the nominal may be small, but if it is accumulated it will be big. I think all countries announce the same globally, they will need a lot of pages if it is made very detailed.
Many countries have formed an anti-corruption, but it is still difficult to eradicate the corruption rooted in that country. The taxes that should give the country already cut off by the corrupt officers for themselves and no report about that. Instead of reducing the state's burden, the state can not even get the tax that they should get and the authorities can not found where that money. I think that is also happening to the gambling business because gambling businesses have people who protect them from paying less tax.
