This answers your question: Thanks to everyone who participated! If you voted in this event, you received 1 merit; if your caption appeared in the first table above, you also received 10, and if your caption appeared only in the second table above, you also received 2. Thanks for the clarity, was about asking the same question. So I got one too, buy my merit total hasn't changed.
Anyone else notice the same? Perhaps Loyce has scraped some relevant data to back up my suspicion?
Give it sometime, i also noticed but it changed recently from 946 to 947 mine happened after making this post.

Juggy is cool and deserves merits for being a decent member.
Exactly, not everyone who creates threads like this get rewarded, only selective few that truely has a past history of putting in their best into contributing positively for the forum (posting decently is one of them) get the boost they need. @Juggy777, the date i indicated is probably when I will have smerits upto that amount I indicated, so just play your part well and it's yours. Congratulations on ranking up in advance.

Topic has been discussed severally yet nothing have been done toward this probably as from previous topics it has been highlighted that implementing this request will hider the work rate of the moderators, as few seconds spends either by clicking on a drop-down reason or writing one, will reduce the rate at which reports are been attending to on a larger scale.

Anyone else feel like Pep's time with City might be coming to an end? Not sure what else he can do, IMO not winning CL with the team they had the last few years is a travesty but perhaps both Pep and City need a new challenge. Don't want to jump on any bandwagon (if there even is one) but I'm not sure, looking at Pep when they have these "bad" games I'm not sure what to make of it.
Thought I was the only one thinking about this, he's definitely not winning the champions league, not with this level of performance. The passion among the players to win games when they're behind isn't that visible as it was, last 2 season. Just maybe them winning one of the minor domestic title could save him for one more try. Chelsea wasn't unlucky but we played badly especially in the last 3, all our possession were just useless. We didn't play like we're been coached by Lampard today instead it brought back old memories of sarriball. William should had started instead of Pedro (he did nothing for the 60mins he played).

^ We'll see. Newcastle is closing the gap on the half spaces really well. Exactly the lanes where Citeh attackers like putting those balls thru.
Not watching the match but from the statistics that I'm seeing online, Newcastle most be defending with all their 11 players (lol). City has 13 shots, 538 passes, 89 accuracy and 78% ball possession. Probably it'll take a defensive mistake for city to go ahead, won't be surprised too if newscastle get something out of the game. Currently having mix feeling, for the pool (I want City to win) but for the club (Chelsea) hope Newcastle can hold city to a draw so we can reclaim the 3rd positive, after winning todays game with a clean sheet at home. Thought this game would be a walk in the park for city.

Majority say we gamble for fun. This is completely a false statement, because if there is no reward for the risk we take it shouldn't have gained such a popularity.
I beg to differ from your school of thought, not everyone gamble because there's a reward for themselves. I have seen and heard of charity event were profits won from gambling aren't been reward to those that gambled but been redirected for the charity activity yet there were still volunteers in their numbers risking their funds to play the games. Many of those volunteer came to catch fun while others meant have seen this as an opportunity to perfect their different gambling strategy.

Just like investing, the same advice "Invest with your spare money" should also apply in gambling. If I understood your thread title currently, i would say the idea of reserving your gamble money before that of family, should never become a habit assuming you're an average gambling but supposedly you're a professional gambler and it's your source of income then it's understand to allocation for your investment (in this case gambling) before anything else.
The idea of not fueling your gambling capital before anything else is mainly for the average gambling as such act can become addictive, mostly costing you all your funds.

Sterling goal! Got one for my Majestic 7.
Congrats buddy, I know the feeling when your first pick (scorer) because a success, you immediately think you can make it through to win the 1 BTC cash prize lol. Silly me, procrastination just cost be to miss giving it a shot at winning this weekend. Goodluck to all those that have picked their scorers. Just hope i can get something on the pool as luckily that doesn't close like the majestic seven contest but just finished dropping my predictions. I'm thinking of a clean sheet for the boys (Chelsea) probably winning with a 2 goal margin. I'm on the road so won't have the chance to watch todays game but I'll follow up scores. Manchester city is currently drawing with newscastle (half time).

Sell the bitcoin cash and buy the real bitcoin then just hodl, $9 is too small to start trading. Engage in building up your bitcoin portfolio by buying more bitcoin with your spare cash, when the opportunities present it self, consider the $9 to be a building block.

Funny how at the start of the season, Ole and Lampard were the coaches been dragged and predicted to not last first 15 games of the seasons or get sacked before the season even ends, but Poch and Emery (which weren't even in the discussion) are the ones receiving the sacking. I won't be surprised if I wake up to the news of Marco silva or Ole getting sacked next. Here's an appointment I'll love to see, Mourinho gets appointed as Spurs manager. Emery gets sacked by Arsenal and Pochettino gets appointed as Arsenal manager.
If Arsenal management were as smart as I thought, getting Pochettino on the wheels would had been the next announcement instead of appointing Freddie Ljungberg. Arsenal needs rebuilding and Pochettino would had done that perfectly..

Also understand that, the fact the project you pick interest in hasn't been red flagged as scam on the forum, doesn't automatically gaurantee the authenticity of the projects. The signs used by ICO scam bursters can easily by bypass by scamners that put some time into disguising themselves to avoid the radar of this scam bursters. Instead of using fake image as team members they could avoid updating the team members or not Plagiarized an already existing project's whitepaper, etc.
Preferable you should avoid investing in any ICOs since it's unprofitability resulting to 99.9% of them, all falling. IEOs on the other hand, aren't even safer, investing through any of the crowdfunding system, only enrich project developers.

You're doing a great job in regards to meriting worthy posts as a source, I'm fortunate to have recieved them merits too on multiple occasions for my threads on the boards (P&S). I'm definitely rooting for you, haven't be active as usual on that section so don't know what's going on there but it seems there's quite some number of meriting flowing on that board (as of when I was still active) so achieving your goals won't be an impossible tasks.
I'm also one of those, hoping to achieve the legendary status merit wise although not in a rush as I still got a long way to go (activity wise) but if I'm worthy of such achievement I won't mind accepting it with good faith. Goodluck on your quest. Congratulations in advance.

Your profile looks interesting and attractive as your merit, activity and post count keeps moving in uniform. Hope you don't spoil that by writing unnecessary posts. The art contest was a great avenue to recieve merit needed to rank up or probably achieve new milestone, sadly i didn't seized that opportunity to get some merit as from records enough generosity was ongoing on the thread. Maybe next time.
About your next goal, it isn't impossible to achieve since others have done the same, just like I keep advicing, concentrate on working on yourself (delivery quality posts as well as engaging in quality conversations) the merit will follow in due time as far your records is decent. Congratulations on your new rank, +3 merit.

|
Ok lets make it a round figure, here you go (+3 merits) that's 400 merits. Out of source merit (you got my last 3). Here's a challenge, putting into considering you achieve 470 before the 20-25th of December, you get a 50 30 merit boost from me or any remaining amount you will need to reach the 500 merit milestone, just have to reduce the amount (to prevent you going into a relaxation mode) since TMAN has already promised a 50 boost.
Merit wasn't meant to hinder any quality contributors chances of ranking up. Just keep putting in work, you meant even achieve this without needing my assistance.

<snip> Let's look forward to an interesting evening in the UCL!
I found my picks for tonight and folded them in a 4 fold parley: Valencia vs Chelsea: Chelsea to win Barcelona vs Dortmund: Barcelona to win Lille vs Ajax: Ajax to win. They are always exciting for me. Liverpool vs Napoli: Liverpool to win. Do I have any choice? 😝 No offense, hope I'm wrong so you can win but it seems there's a draw in one of those matches, Chelsea has been impressive away but after their last away result it seems any team with the right winning mentality and players to match that of the Chelsea's squad, the home team might stand a chance to get something out of that match. Group H among any other group is the most interesting since it isn't that easy to predict teams that'll make it out to the knockout stage. Currently all 3 top clubs in the group are on 7 points with Ajax probably gaining the advantage after defeating Lille in this evening game meaning, neither Chelsea or Valencia would settle for a loss and most likely a draw might just be the end scoreline. (Just hope I'm wrong as winning will automatically give Chelsea an upper hand to qualifying).

Your mindset can be controlled is only if you put in effort into it.
You control your mindset by controlling your emotions, understanding your emotions will make the process more easier as it'll guide you to dealing with your emotions. Supposedly you're the attachment type (in this case, attached to your fiat, you should avoid betting with fiat instead search for alternative while you work on your money attachment issue). Ignoring this will definitely cost you since you'll likely want to win back your cash each time you lost them and will definitely end you in more losses. Gambling on a smaller scale isn't bad as it's a form of fun although when over done it becomes an issue. Every individuals is different so it's, in regards to the cause of our gambling addictions, understanding this will assist you towards resolving your addiction problem.

My presumption, ICO has been on the decline lately so probably the team behind [ICOethics] has lost interested to continue their quest to burst all scam ICO. Supposedly their website was been updated that would had been a different situation but as their website has also stop been update there isn't any useful of their continuous participation on the foeum since that was the only reason they created an account on the forum in the first place (to create more awareness about their exposed scams).
This development hasn't only affected ICOethics but most scam busters hasn't be that active as usual, some have already picked interested in other hobbies like @lovesmayfamilis. ICO aren't that attractive anymore.

Storeum is a scam projects that has plagiarized their whitepaper and also listed false (fake) individuals as their team members, you can read more on this here; Storeum - fake/ai generated team members! The exchange (ExtStock) this project is listed on, isn't to be trusted as well for not carrying out proper investigation on a project before listing. They're exposing their customers to risk of getting scammed and from observation there is manipulation ongoing on that exchange. Just replied to a related thread on this same issue and from the images below, you can observe from the time frame the price is currently been manipulated ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FuMWrd3C.png&t=663&c=uT2X_gC0ncb9kg) . ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fsgou8OP.png&t=663&c=pDvIAxts5pIBZw) Neither the exchange or the project can be trusted. It's in your best of interest, to avoid trading the coin or patronizing the exchange or risk getting scammed. Both representative of the projects (coin & exchange) on the forum has been red tagged and flagged respectively.
