Introducing the world's first implementation of ZeroCoin That's a pretty big claim to make. I'm really suspicious about this, as long as it remains a claim, they haven't really proved anything to us. I would't trust the developers of this coin until they present solid evidence to back this claim.

Quoting the PM I received from tjohej. most of her supporters seem to be female. Tim Schafer, Philippe Poisson "Phil Fish", Jonathan McIntosh https://twitter.com/radicalbytesFrom Wikipedia 19:52, 8 October 2014: Timothy John Schafer[1][2] (born July 26, 1967) is an American computer game designer. He founded Double Fine Productions in July of 2000, after having spent over a decade at LucasArts. Schafer is best known as the designer of critically acclaimed games Full Throttle, Grim Fandango, Psychonauts, Brütal Legend, and Broken Age and co-designer of the early classics The Secret of Monkey Island, Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge and Day of the Tentacle. He is well known in the video game industry for his storytelling and comedic writing style.[3] "Phil Fish" created Fez. Do you know Fez? Great, I see you were able to mention a few notable examples that are not female. That doesn't really prove anything against the fact that most of her supporters are female. Doesn't it sound logical that the majority of the supporters a female criticising the depiction of women in the virtual world would also be female? There is no good reason to deny that. If you were to have a look at her twitter followers, this would've been perfectly clear. I guess it would be even more clear if stats like her kickstarter backers, tumblr followers/hashtag users, youtube subscribers, website viewers were more accessible. Oh additionally, bringing up wikipedia as a way to make the information you represent seem more accurate isn't always the best thing to do. And things are probably worse in this case. Wikipedia is publicly accessible and anyone can edit it. In the past feminist activists have been raiding wikipedia with mass edits in an attempt to inject feminism into Wikipedia.

This is interesting. It's good to see start ups like this that involve both bitcoin and social media activities. In a way like this we can also help bitcoin become more accessible and appealing to the general public. A problem I can foresee with this though is that it will require extensive use of micro transactions. Given that the minimum paywall is 9 cents in theory (and using the current price) transaction fees for 27 videos would pay for a user to watch an additional one. Maybe it would be better to also provide an option to deposit bitcoins into the website and pay for videos this way. I know it's still early, but that's really the first thing that came to mind after watching the introduction video. Otherwise this sounds ambitious, good luck to the creators!

I think this is just a publicity stunt.
Looking at this from a third person perspective and seeing that this guy is still betting I guess that Primedice isn't in trouble for now. At least not yet. If this is really happening the hard part for PD should be paying out this guy. That's a great way for us all to see if Primedice is really as big as it wants us to believe it is. But all this makes me somewhat suspicious too.

I think addresses should either be posted outside of the forum or via PM, I'm pretty sure forum rules are you can't post addresses inside of posts... Wouldn't want anything HYP related to get banned Forum rules don't allow post that ask people to post a reply in order to participate in a contest or giveaway. Those topics tend to be the most spammy so they got banned. I guess the case here is something different.

In my opinion, STAY AWAY FROM HASHNEST! I bought 2.5 ths there, and for the last month everything has been in turmoil there. And they constantly insult their customers on the Forum at Hashnest like their problems are somehow the customer's fault for 'whining' too much and being 'clueless'. Very, very unprofessional operation, and with big, big problems at the moment.
Stay away!
The information on those problems have been on their forum for weeks, yet people keep coming here complaining that their hashrate wasn't showing up correctly. Indeed many people are clueless. Payouts are received normally despite the displayed hashrate. I also can't see why people keep complaining while they obviously either don't understand the latest updates, or are just too busy to click the forum link on the top of the page and read them. But whatever, I'll be kind enough and try to be helpful. Here, try reading the official announcements. https://www.hashnest.com/bbs/topics/357https://www.hashnest.com/bbs/topics/389

My accuracy is stuck for about a month although my reports keep going up. Is there a known issue about that?

Today's volume for DOGE seems like a joke. 14,046,500$ from ANXPRO seems highly unlikely, is this an error?

Bitcoin is all about neutrality, opinions of others shouldn't affect you if you don't think they're credible. If you're looking to donate to Anita, or whatever else organisation, cause and political movement and you'd really like to do it through bitcoin you shouldn't hesitate asking directly.
Seeing that you're also interested to get an opinion on how successful it would be if Anita started accepting bitcoin donations... Well, things are simple, at least in my mind. Her videos represent a female audience and although they attract much attention in the internet most of her supporters seem to be female. Female users of bitcoin are a really small percentage of the total user base. Where do you think this is going?

My only requirement to qualify for a key is to have at least 5 posts in the forum. I currently have 4, for activation through steam. First 3 people to ask for a key will get one. Edit: All keys given away! Have fun!

Well, I assume that asking for investments for a website without proving your concept first isn't really going to give you much since I guess not that many people will be willing to take that risk. Maybe you should start by funding the website yourself at first for a small period. Besides that, each type of investment has it's own advantages.
For a crowd funded bankroll you'd probably have to deal with the funds of hundreds of investors and probably handle bigger amounts. But on the other hand a bigger bankroll would allow bigger bet limits and therefore attract bigger bettors.
Privately funded websites give you better flexibility when handling funds, but finding a small group of people willing to put large investments on a newly created website could be hard.

Lately I've been trying to put some bids on auctions. Turns out the auction board is one of the hardest sections of this forum to browse. It's mainly dominated by some particular posters that create new posts for every single item they have on sale. It feels like the board is barely moderated (or the rules are too loose).
There are also many locked/finished auctions taking space in it's frontpage. It would have been more productive if this space was saved for auctions that are still ongoing. I realise that the posts have to remain there for future reference, but keeping them in the front page of the auction forum after their auction has ended doesn't seem to be meaningful.
All these result to many auctions getting buried before they even receive a handful of views. Giving both sellers and buyers a bad experience.

So, leveraged investments? This definitely sounds interesting and I can say that I'm looking forward to the release.
