If you only have a small amount of bitcoin then no, betting is not a good idea. Gamble with fiat if you only have a small stash of bitcoin's. Bitcoin is too precious to waste gambling if you don't have a lot. Hold onto your bitcoin, it will be worth more & more as time goes on. |

The only time gambling becomes a real problem is if it affects your life negatively. For example if you're gambling with & losing money that is supposed to be used for rent, food, bills etc then you have a problem.
Gambling with small amounts that you can afford to lose is ok.
