6161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Biggest Crypto Exchange Heists in History on: May 15, 2019, 10:06:20 AM
I haven't been affected personally because I'm keeping my holdings on a hard wallet but I'm also sure that it has a negative effect on people these days. Some users have lost their trust in that exchange. Hackers now focus on hacking different exchanges but we should be smart enough to keep our holdings safe as investors and traders.

I think not reasonable your not affected that hacking of binance because you keeping at hard wallet
If the whole funds of binance steal of the hackers I think the whole crypto will be affected
Because possible the price will goes down, investors will take way from crypto hope.
Sorry mate is that only my own opinion about this drama do not be offend😀😀😀
6162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Right Now: Will Do A Bull Run Too? on: May 14, 2019, 11:52:35 PM

6163  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance case shows that crypto community is stronger than ever on: May 11, 2019, 06:09:14 AM
Binance is not that awesome as you would think. They might be 1st in alexa rank as they are hyped. but volume wise, they are at 10th place.

so not everything revolves around Binance, there other exchanges that drive Bitcoin price, not Binance.

I'm aware of this, and I don't state that this is the best one (I don't even trade there). But the willingness to help and solidarity of community is something what I highly appreciate

You have a point op your idea is very powerful solidarity of one community is helpful to protect from the bad guys.

I didn't see massive panic from existing account to close down their account so yea it still strong

Well obvious no need to panic not the reason to close  their account
Binance can handle it to protect the users to stay investing
Especially today bitcoin going into skyrocket
Cheap amount they get of the hackers it's easy to replace that from the one most rich exchange herein crypto
6164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets be careful on what we are investing on: April 10, 2019, 11:55:57 PM
Read this several minutes ago. We must be vigilant on what we are investing and must do some research or study first if the project that we wanted to join is legit or not. So sad that there are some ICOs who are just making money for their own sake. Because of this issues, people becomes scared of cryptocurrencies and thinks that other cryptos that are legit are scams too.

Thanks for your remainder and warning but we need to take risk.
Investing can't avoid risk before got profits or success.
All we have to right now is to study well all project to make sure the legitimacy.

The news was about bitcoin, but they had to talk about another altcoin, I wonder why?
[/quote]

I think op promoting BITCOIN SV it's obvious they talking about bitcoin not other altcoins
The matter of fact lower than the price from the support level is only an speculation from the people
bitcoin is unpredictable didn't control by anyone out there
this current situation are creating low moral from the bitcoin holder
but for sure there was a time to pumping again the price of bitcoin

6172  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-07] CONFIRMED: US Congress members to submit major pro-crypto bill... on: January 28, 2019, 11:42:35 AM

Exclusive: US Congress members to submit major pro-cryptocurrency bill - early support coming from both parties...

I have now confirmed that the Token Taxonomy Act is on the verge of being introduced in the House, where it will soon begin the process of becoming law. The bill's original authors, Congressmen Warren Davidson (Republican, Ohio) along with Darren Soto (Democrat, Florida) are working together to give it a bipartisan introduction.

This is old news. The bill was introduced December 20th, over a month ago. I'm not sure how good its prospects are -- neither Congressman is very influential. But the spirit of the bill is definitely pro-cryptocurrency and in favor of more lax regulations. They want to exempt cryptocurrencies and tokens from the Securities Act and make a $600 de minimis tax exemption for gains realized by spending coins. They also want to establish like-kind exchange tax exemptions for cryptocurrencies, which would mean altcoin trading won't trigger taxable events. This is the summary:

Quote
To amend the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 to exclude digital tokens from the definition of a security, to direct the Securities and Exchange Commission to enact certain regulatory changes regarding digital units secured through public key cryptography, to adjust taxation of virtual currencies held in individual retirement accounts, to create a tax exemption for exchanges of one virtual currency for another, to create a de minimis exemption from taxation for gains realized from the sale or exchange of virtual currency for other than cash, and for other purposes.

this is good news i missed this good news it's very interesting hoping this can help for crypto currency economic crisis and also this news can help the way for ETF approval by the support of trump admistration.
6173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bull is here on: January 17, 2019, 08:54:05 AM

6174  Economy / Speculation / Re: January...The Next Few Weeks Will Be Crucial on: January 06, 2019, 11:48:40 PM
We are aware that the coin market is full of uncertainties but this is going to be a crucial year for Bitcoin, considering the upcoming decision on ETF. We are not even certain that prices have settled to rock bottom yet and folks been asking my views. To me, we really can't know for certain until regulators such as SEC make their stance known by this month. We're sure that a negative decision could have Bitcopin trade as low as below $3000, but that's really good news because it's going to be the very worst we experience thais year. https://cryptoinfowatch.com/bitcoin-news-today-the-obstacles-to-mainstream-adoption/

We need to understand before they accept digital currency in our lives the challenge are still there
The only one thing we need to consider is digital currency is full of challenges and surprises
Yes of course i aware that always be ready for where crypto currency get reach

6178  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New to crypto trading - Is now the time to get in? on: January 05, 2019, 07:47:02 PM
Hi all.  When the hype was at its peak about a year ago, clearly this attracted a lot of people.  I waited and watched.  Would love to hear views on if this is a good time to start looking at BTC and alts.

Also, have seen a few accounts that offer services (VIP signals etc).  Presumably some of these are better than others.... if so, what have been your experiences?  Thanks.

I trade in my own risk I can't join any vip signals paying huge amount of bitcoin to join them
I heard for somep people is it useful to help get tips from vip siganl groups
But hard to get back the amount they pay from the group
