6162  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] My band's album LUNARSEA (Death Metal) on: October 29, 2014, 02:19:11 AM
Your band has an awesome sound! Smiley You must be the first metal band I've seen selling albums for BTC. I might as well get a physical copy to play on my stereo and support you guys.

Could you provide an estimate for shipping to Greece?

You just made a fool out of yourself...

Was your email in escrow for the loan as well?  Roll Eyes
6164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading & Arbitrage. Profit 10% in 3 days if BTC moves or your BTC back. on: October 28, 2014, 11:31:13 PM
I wish someone on the default trust sees this and gives you a negative feedback rating. Your claims are outrageous, unless you back up what you're saying with solid proof you should be considered a scammer just because you're asking for people's money.

I took part in your previous campaign and had about 20 people to sign up under me through my lead pages. How am I going to know If anyone of those people earns under my name? I see that I can no longer access the affiliate tools in my coinpiler account.
6168  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] Polish fireworks on: October 28, 2014, 10:42:53 PM
We have a Polish board. I think you should direct your question to them. Otherwise, finding fireworks on the clearnet is pretty easy too. I googled Polish fireworks and got some satisfying results.

6170  Other / Meta / Re: MODS PLEASE BAN BBmmBB - gambling spammer/troll on: October 27, 2014, 02:43:04 AM
I feel this would have the inverse effect on the user being ignored, if their intention was to troll. Being ignored, to them, is a measure of success. Imagine you were in their shoes, being notified every time you pissed someone off enough to make them ignore you would be somewhat satisfying.

And yes, I strongly recommend that the mods ban BBmmBB. I believe his posts constitute spam, since they are so numerous and contribute nothing to the discussions he involves himself in.

What I meant to say was that the current ignore function is pretty much useless. You can still the username and a blank post space everywhere a person you've ignored posts. Also quotes will allow you to see his full posts.

If the trolls knew everyone has ignored him, and ignores were more effective therefore entirely hiding his posts from the majority of the forum they would have no one to troll.
6171  Other / Meta / Re: MODS PLEASE BAN BBmmBB - gambling spammer/troll on: October 26, 2014, 12:53:40 AM
Mods have said it before that trolling is hard to moderate. Most of it is left as is since it's hard to figure out of the posters are either trolling or if they are being serious.

I wish that the ignore function was more useful. It's pretty meaningless to have someone ignored yet still be able to see his username around. In fact all you do by ignoring someone is to just hide the text of his posts while he's still ignored. But you can still see his posts through quotes.

Maybe even if the troll was receiving a notification each time someone ignored him, people would have a greater motivation to to it. In addition, trolls motivation to keep being toxic would be reduced if people started ignoring them massively and they were directly notified about it. This way trolls and anyone else unwanted by a large chunk of the community would be silenced without having to be banned.
6172  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [Quick Sale] Want to sell steam account, Fast Delivery (Lots of games!) on: October 25, 2014, 08:26:31 PM
Actually, I don't think that the store you bought the games from has to do much with how your account is valued.

I'd suggest you to post in other forums such as http://www.steamtrades.com/forum for a more accurate appraisal.
6173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it official? on: October 25, 2014, 10:11:35 AM
Just because XBT is an ISO for bitcoin doesn't mean we can't use BTC or even BTC. It's easier to reffer from "BTC" to bitcoin that what it is to do so from "XBT". Some exchanges are now using XBT as their ticker and exchange symbol, but it doesn't really make a difference. I guess people will keep using BTC for the reason I mentioned above.
6174  Economy / Services / Re: BiPolarVPS - Free Linux VPS service! on: October 25, 2014, 09:45:51 AM
Bob, are you also taking those servers out of service? Seeing one of your latest posts replying to accusations made me worry a little.
6175  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [SELLING] Amazon gift cards (50% of their price), Xbox and PSN codes / membrship on: October 25, 2014, 12:36:08 AM
Also got some gift cards from OP. He suggested we split transactions to 5€ cards so it's a minimal trust trade. He was fast and the whole thing didn't take more than a couple of minutes. I would recomend his services.

Good to see some positive feedback. I'll lookup for some items and probably put an order soon.

I'd get a code if you go first! 50% Sounds too good.
6178  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 'Banks to abandon paper money soon' on: October 23, 2014, 05:37:06 PM
Bitcoin is like digital cash. If there's no physical money and you can only pay with credit card or payment systems connected to your bank account (so fully traceable), then demand for bitcoin could be huge. It could be main (if not the only) way to make/accept payments for those without bank account, those who don't want to fully rely on their bankers and those who want their financial activity to remain anonymous (for whatever reason).

I want to be optimistic, but I don't believe that bitcoin will become more sucesfull from one day to anoter. The general population needs time to understand and accept bitcoin's advantages. Most people see digitalization of payments through credit cards as a positive thing. We don't, I'm pretty sure most people here strongly believe that bitcoin is by far a better alternative to credit cards for money tranfering transactions. But good luck educating others.
6179  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 'Banks to abandon paper money soon' on: October 23, 2014, 01:24:48 PM

But if that happens, that will be a time to shine for bitcoin.

A time to shine? More like competition.
6180  Economy / Speculation / Re: See $10,000 BTC or 1 Million Users on Bitcointalk first? on: October 23, 2014, 12:35:29 PM
I voted for 1 million bitcointalk users, because in my mind a more widespread adoption is going to come first and bitcointalk (imo) could play a part in that.
