6162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that governments might one day ban Cryptos? on: November 20, 2019, 11:21:56 PM
Considering that the governments such as China have already tried to ban Cryptos.

You must know that many countries have tried to ban crypto so far but crypto still continues its existence. It means we don't need to be so afraid, crypto has proven its power to survive. Currently, crypto adoption is improving quite well, I believe more countries to consider legalizing it.

I personally think it won’t happen,

Nah, you have answered it yourself but I don't see the reasons. Now, please explain it to us? It will be fair if you also try to answer briefly.  Wink
6163  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [GUIDE] Pertimbangkan Faktor ini Sebelum Bergabung Dengan Kampanye Berbayar BTC on: November 20, 2019, 12:50:42 PM

1. ChipMixer Signature Campaign
1. We will pay a maximum of 50 posts every week. Posts will not be rolled over, and there is no minimum number of posts.

2. Bitsler Signature & Avatar Campaign
Min 25 post max 1000 post.

Ndak to, bro.  Wink

~snp~
You can tell people 1000000 times and they still don't read the title or previous replies man. People just apply apply apply.

Yeah, it is very unfortunate that many do not use their eyes to read. Or maybe because there is no kind of punishment so they keep trying.

How about if you do these :

1. Lock the thread. [Only open once you announce there is a space for new participants]
2. Ban all people who try to apply during [Full] mark is active. [Ban from joining bustadice campaign forever. Or even you may ban them from all your campaigns (extreme option)]

Just a suggestion for sure.  Smiley
6165  Other / Meta / Re: I'm Hero Member Now - Thank You Everyone on: November 20, 2019, 07:48:07 AM
Congratulations on your achievement to be a Hero Member. That's what every Senior rank dreams to be there and you prove it reachable.

So I was only 2 weeks (14 activity) away from becoming Hero Member when theymos introduced merit system.

When theymos introduced it, I was still out there and didn't know this forum.  Smiley
I joined bitcointalk on April 2018, It means after the merit system has been already applied. But I think there is no problem with this system.
Just enjoy the challenges, keep the dream to rank up, and keep positive contributions to the forum.

Great job, mate!!
6166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have created a list of 43 social media based on blockchain or tokenized on: November 19, 2019, 11:56:52 PM
In fact, there are many social media based on blockchain technology that has been developed and many more will be next created again. Probably, there are still some other social media projects that exclude on the lists above.
However, the question is how many projects that are successful and enter the market with good trading volume and value?
6167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Preparing for a recession... Gold or Bitcoin? on: November 19, 2019, 11:46:13 PM
Let's not be fan boys here.
If you are a serious person and you deal seriously with your money, ofc you need to hold both of them. Gold and bitcoin.

I agree with you. Why we must choose one them while having both is a better choice. Surely, there is no doubt about the potential of gold investment. It has been proven for many years and it seems interesting to choose if you take a look at the current price history: https://goldprice.org/gold-price-history.html. The gold price is growing and shows good improvement. While for Bitcoin, we already know its potential to increase the value, moreover there will be a halving day in 2020.
6168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Simple idea on: November 19, 2019, 11:33:09 PM
Yeah, If you have a problem with crypto wallets or transactions, you must have some ways to fix it. You can do these ways : contact the project teams, googling to see some existing suggestions, or asking your friends. FYI, sometimes transactions need a few hours to move the tokens from the sender's wallet to the receiver's wallet.
6169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Terms People Use in Cryptocurrency on: November 19, 2019, 11:16:19 PM
I think most people here already know and understand those words. They are familiar words for traders or investors since they may see those words almost every day. Especially, for these words: HOLD, FUD, To the moon. People often use them on many occasions in various discussions related to market trends and price prediction.

For me, all entries deserve to be favorite designs. But unfortunately, there is 1 vote only.

I voted for 5th Entry [palukritik].

Reasons :
1. All components are clearly visible
2. Looks nice with a simple background

Warning: Everyone has their own view, so no need to debate!  Grin
6171  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Akun Newbie dan spekulasinya terkait Satoshi/theymos on: November 19, 2019, 12:24:40 AM

Baik, terima kasih Om atas masukannya. Smiley
6172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs Worldwide Hit New Milestone, Surpassing 6,000 on: November 18, 2019, 11:54:05 PM
It is good news for us as Bitcoin holders and must strengthen our beliefs about the adoption of Bitcoin in the future. Actually, there are many places in the world that need the Bitcoin ATMs to indicate the improvement of the community. However, I think legalization is still an obstacle to this adoption.

OP, it will be better if you enclose an article or valid sources related to your statement.  Wink

Why I think all crypto is scam

Mate, I think you need to revise a bit your title. If you stated all crypto, it includes Bitcoin. Based on your explanation, you only point it for new altcoins. So, in my point of view, the title must be "Why I think all new coins are scam".

~snp~ That is why I think all these announcements and Roadmaps are bullshit.

Yeah, agree. The roadmap and announcements are made only to ensure people that they did the right way for a project, but the fact there is no big progress and day after day the interest on the coins/tokens is decreasing constantly. Finally, the coins/tokens are delisted from the exchanges or just ended without a transaction "sell-buy" anymore (dead coins).
6174  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin STILL Good Investment? (Think Again) on: November 18, 2019, 11:12:11 PM
No doubt that Bitcoin will be always a good investment as long as you know how to manage your Bitcoin and understand the market trends. With its volatility in price, we have a chance to see a high increase and gain big profits. But remember that it also has a possibility to drop very drastically. However, smart investors must know how to take advantage of those possibilities. Learn the Bitcoin charts, factors that influence the prices, market characteristics, and current issues on Bitcoin's future.
6175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Final Hunt for the Real Satoshi Nakamoto - Hoffman Investigation on: November 18, 2019, 10:55:45 PM
The Hoffman Investigation will end the decade old mystery of Bitcoin invention. Accuracy is 100% authentic.

Who is Hoffman? and who are you?
Do you want to ensure people just with this new twitter account : https://twitter.com/JosefHoffman4?lang=en?
Believe me, no one will trust in Hoffman Investigation in this way.

I have read many threads discussing Satoshi identity made by newbies, and all thread ended with no clear conclusion. I wonder why a newbie can make a theory about Satoshi identity even though he just joined here. Show your real account, mate!! I am not sure you are a new member.

I have met the real Satoshi Nakamoto in late 2015, after full two years of searching for the genuine inventor of Bitcoin and Blockchain technology.

How do you know he is Satoshi? And his location?
Even if you did 2 years of research, there is no guarantee to find out his identity.
It is almost impossible to know with a very limited clue.

I made a thread related to newbies theory on Satoshi identity : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5202468.msg53111430#msg53111430
6176  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Akun Newbie dan spekulasinya terkait Satoshi/theymos on: November 18, 2019, 02:46:24 PM

Thread saya LOCK untuk sementara waktu..
6177  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Akun Newbie dan spekulasinya terkait Satoshi/theymos on: November 18, 2019, 02:45:12 PM

Contoh Kasus :

Akun [Frengki_cisco] : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2689745.

Code:
What do you think about this, accepted or not that: theymos is satoshi and satoshi is theymos.

Bagaimana menurut kawan-kawan?

Contoh thread lain yang terkait [OP newbie] :

Note :
Wink
6178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoins will give in excess of profit in a growing market? on: November 17, 2019, 11:49:14 PM
What a lucky friend. If we are looking for big profits, it will also relate to the fund that we spend. Well, so far, investing in some altcoins may be very risky because of the fluctuating market. However, some altcoins may give big luck for us.
What we need to do is by analyzing which coins that probably have good potential for at least a year later, I prefer to the coins that promote the real use case. Even it will take more time, more than 2 years, it can be a promising investment for the future.
But, if we want to make more profits, we can also search for the coins that have high volume for trading. This will be more interesting again.
6179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is True Decentralization a Myth? on: November 17, 2019, 11:39:24 PM
The first objective of blockchain technology implemented in BTC may be decentralized. However, over time, it continues to grow.
In this case, many developers end up creating blockchain-based projects in which decentralization is no longer 100% due to one thing or another.
And of course, the concept of decentralization will relate to the type of platform or coin or token offered.
6180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why are you gambling? on: November 17, 2019, 03:56:30 PM

actually most of the given questions in OP are irrelevant.

1.Enjoying- How much money does it go to weekly? people that enjoying doesnt even care how much he spent but the important thing is enjoyment.

3.Hope for a win- How much did you earn in one day?Hoping but you are looking for earning?lol no one assures that we will win in gambling

4.Fun- You play Ofline or online casino? look at this one, whats the connection of online or offline when you are playing for fun? very irrelevant

Indeed. The questions look a bit strange, especially for number 1, 3, and 4. Moreover, number 1 & 4 should be in the same option since basically they have the same meaning "Pleasure". Yes, if the focus on enjoying or fun, they mustn't care so much on "earning money daily/weekly". OP maybe forget about the essence of enjoy/fun.  Cheesy  While for the number 3, I think what you stated above has been clear enough. Hope for daily income in gambling seems no sense.  Undecided
