6161  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt.com 🦵💸 | Crypto's Finest Casino | 0% Commission PvP Dice Duels 🚀 🎰 🎲 🔥 on: August 29, 2022, 09:26:49 PM
I don't know if this is only me but the visibility of the signatures around the forum is not felt positively, I have been looking around to see their promoter around the forum and I saw one or two users wearing their sig and avatar. I advise the number of participants should be increased to aid more visibility around the forum.

They have hired 10 people to promote their casino and I don't think there is anything negative about it.
Punt. com is looking to advertise their casino and would like to hire 10 users from member to legendary rank to help them out.
Every casino has some budget allocated for the marketing campaigns and since they are new they might be more concerned to see the result of their promotions before taking more people into their campaign.
I am also in support of that plan, as it is far better to evaluate the impact of the promotion on the overall traffic of the casino, since their new and need a lot of time and hard work to build the community and so proper marketing is needed to keep the casino among the top in competitors list even though there have nearly lasted for a week. since yahoo already mentioned that the team may decide to hire more users to promote them in the coming weeks but that is not certain since the team has not made that decision.
6162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: August 29, 2022, 11:16:47 AM
If there is any casino token I will like to hold it should be the owl token as I have tested their network and understood how it works, the casino that has success tome like an owl in the market where the price is stable is an added advantage for the revenue of the casino, I know a lot of effort has been put in place to get the token the visibility it has right now. But then the gain will outweigh the risk and the token price is relatively stable and has been on the increase since the bear market started, which shows how strong the resistance the ecosystem of the token as a utility token in the casino is.
6163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins are Not Real — Or how People Blindly Believe Nakamoto's Post on: August 29, 2022, 08:40:56 AM
To OP - of course they exchange numbers. That's why it is a DIGITAL currency. If they exchanged something other than numbers, it would be analog.
I read op post and have discovered quiet a lot of things and I have arrived at a conclusion that ops is not ready to unlearn what he think and believe about Bitcoin and it creator Satoshi Nakamoto and ops havhase continually defended his point without making out time to read and absorb the views and data presented by others. That been said
What make Bitcoin real is:
A: Bitcoin is transferable from peer to peer
B: Bitcoin transactions is verifiable using the transaction ID on blockchain.
C: Bitcoin have a dollar value on exchanges
D:  Bitcoin is decentralized that is Bitcoin does not have a central control and that is why it is a public ledger.
If with all this facts can not convince ops of the true nature of Bitcoin than I will leave ops to believe whatever he want to believe.makes
6164  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin do $19k again before a bull market? on: August 28, 2022, 10:19:52 PM
mtgox customers are expecting to unload a ton of BTC onto the market.  I think a bottom in the $13K to $17K is much more realistic.  I've been urging friends to start dollar cost averaging in for the next cycle run now.  I am under the belief that if you buy $100 worth of BTC per week, you're possibly able to amass $100,000 in 2 years.
From the look of things mtgox customers may have to wait a little bit longer since there have not worked out modalities for the payment, yes they going to get paid through Bitcoin and eventually dump the Bitcoin into the market and that will force the price down for a while but a lot still needs to be done from what I read over the news some of their customers have come out to state clearly that the news is not as urgent as the speculation have it and the panic in the market is on call for as the Exchanges to be used for the payment have not been selected and a lot of other procedures have not been followed that will aid the payment of the 140,000 Bitcoins any time soon.
Bitcoin price can fall back to $17k before building resistance at that level, but saying the pullback will dive down to $13k may be too much for Bitcoin to recover from before 2024.

6165  Other / Archival / Re: Why has bitcoin adoption failed in El Salvador? on: August 28, 2022, 09:47:40 PM
Show me a perfect economy or country in the world and everyone will be free to live in there, i saw a publication that state all the prominent countries with debt in their numbers, can you imagine that UK, US, china and some other well recognized countries all form the list, then someone asked, if all these countries could be in debts, who is now their lender or creditor?, Enough of saying all manners of talk about El-Savador and its bitcoin adoption, other countries that failed to do so have nothing to show forth, we need to understand that El-Savador adopted bitcoin and not altcoin, that's it decision while other should learn or remain mute about it decision, even if there's a change in power, as long as bitcoin remains, El-Savador will always have it a legal tender.

This is his decision, no one argues. I even suspect what caused such a decision, but it did not work out, since the venture with bitcoin bonds did not gain due demand from investors and the desired billion dollars of investment did not work out. The problem is not that El Salvador accepted bitcoin despite further persuasion from the International Monetary Fund to abandon this idea to count on another bailout. The problem is the high expectations of the community and the blind admiration for this event in style: look, El Salvador has accepted bitcoin as a means of payment, it's so cool. And in practice, besides applause, what do we have? Nothing, even the installation of ATMs affects the adoption of bitcoin better than this law adopted in El Salvador. The news has been inflated to such a degree that this Salvadoran law does not correspond. Look at how the community received the news about the recognition of bitcoin in the Swiss city of Lugano. Who remembers him now and admires him? Virtually no one. And what are the cardinal differences in the degree of Bitcoin adoption between Lugano and El Salvador? Yes, almost none, I think, just the Salvadoran adoption was inflated because it was the first, and the fact that, from a practical point of view, it does not have such a scale and greatness as mention of it and admiration, few people care.

In short, what I generally talk about in this topic and in general on the entire forum about the situation with El Salvador is that big mentions of it do not correspond to the level of adoption that takes place in this country. The community overestimates this adoption and talks about it.
@Ratimov I understand the point you are trying to emphasize here and you have clearly outlined the points behind your decisions, but also note, even though the news of El Salvador Bitcoin adoption is over-celebrated by the community without adequate attention being paid to the impact of this Bitcoin adoption on the overall Bitcoin market behavior and how the IMF has kicked against this El Salvador move to adopt Bitcoin which is the measure reason why the bitcoin bound project could not fly since the external contributor did not find the project worthy and stable enough to invest such huge capital on, because of the uncertainty of the future Bitcoin market condition and lack of consistency in Bitcoin price which could not be practically projected for a capital project. That is the international monetary funds/(IMF) view anyways.
Now the point am trying to make is, that even though El Salvador is passive by many to have taken a wrong decision on Bitcoin adoption, emphasis should be ace on the long-term advantage of this decision on the Economic production of El Salvador, with the growth of Bitcoin in that country a lot of other sectors we develop along with it, take for instance the Bitcoin city which was made to be one of the biggest Bitcoin development in that country will Foster a lot of economic activities that will generate both direct and indirect jobs for the citizens, and the power sector will greatly improve because the volcano will become the major source of power to the Bitcoin city and if their capacity of electricity generation increase along the way the power sector in El Salvador will also benefit from the klw of electricity generated from the volcano.
We should give some time for El Salvador to put the dots together and figure out ways to develop their master plan and I know for sure in the next coming year we will have a lot of verifiable data to base our analysis on and then we can figure out what direction this whole thing is heading either negative or positive.
What I fear most is the continuity of this project after this present administration and what becomes of Bitcoin in El Salvador after Nayib Bukele leaves office will the next president be a Bitcoin fan or will he have a dark spot for Bitcoin, this is my most worries at the moment.
6166  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker tournaments why tournaments in other games on: August 27, 2022, 06:15:35 PM
I believe most games have divergence motivess and some games are most favorable to host a tournament on poker is the most suitable, I have witnessed a lot of poker tournaments on this forum and most time betnomi is among the casinos that have brought in the tournament and this also witnessed a low turn out from members here but may be as people are becoming more aware that there is so much fun in the tournament and the prize most times is mouth-watering.
6167  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin do $19k again before a bull market? on: August 27, 2022, 03:48:41 PM
First move the thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=57.0
And year bitcoin is nosediving in price and is approaching below the $20 benchmark which is supposed to be the strongest resistance level for over some weeks now, but then we may not witness the $19 or $18k price any time soon even though we are very close to that level right now, the Bitcoin bull may be far from home now but I believe 20k is the highest low we may witness in this bitcoin price Winter season. Btw am not an expert bitcoin price analysts but from my little experience of the Bitcoin market any time Bitcoin pulls back drastically without any bad news from sec it becomes easier for the bull to pick up but as we are all familiar with the volatility of Bitcoin price we can not accurately predict what the lowest level in price can be.
6168  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You have not lost a dime if your Bitcoin is in your wallet on: August 26, 2022, 07:17:28 PM
The choice is what motivates the decision to sell unless for steel hand-holders who may have a strong back up for the daily necessity of life and have no reason to visit their Bitcoin balance for a long time, if you are in for a long time sake then holding Bitcoin without touching no matter what the situation may be in the market is a strong will drive that not everyone has the balls to do that, some tend to panic easily and are willing to cut loses at some point where they don't have any choice than to exchange they Bitcoin to solve a real-life problem.
bitcoin is always 1 Bitcoin and no matter what the price may be you only lose when you sell below the price you buy it.
6169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on Gambling Business on: August 26, 2022, 03:53:45 PM
KYC compliance is becoming a must for most regulatory compliance casinos and we are going to see more of such casinos demanding KYC even before you gain access to your account as a new player in the future, just like what we see with exchanges like Binance we're a user must go through verification before being able to make a withdrawal or trade on the exchange. So similar situation will occur in casinos soon and we should not also forget that some casinos doot require KYC from players and that is clearly stated on their terms and conditions same with exchanges some do not require KYC but those set of services is becoming limited this day due to government climbing down on none KYC compliance services.

To a great extent this team has done things right unless some cases break out in the future but for now, I can see that the admin is very active on thos forum and also have made a reply on their signature campaign thread stating how excited they are to be on this forum, but if I may make a few suggestions as regards to promotion and bonuses as many players from this forum e.g a unique welcome bonuses for the players from this forum and also expand your marketing to reach more users of the forum. Also, give priority to feedback and solve players' problems.
6171  Other / Archival / Re: Why has bitcoin adoption failed in El Salvador? on: August 26, 2022, 10:21:11 AM
It was totally been rushed i would say on which El Salvador did make BItcoin as a legal tender and we havent seen if there are some proper education or teachings or awareness even with the basics.
Its understandable that they had done out some teachings after on that certain decision which the result isnt surprising where it would be mostly ignored or been neglected just because people havent
able to know even into its basic principle.Somehow it isnt really still a complete fail since they are still standing strong in regarding with their decision and even make out some purchase
of coins when the market is still on the bear season which is something we can say that they trust up BTC that much.
On a general note, you may view the El Salvador bitcoin adoption as a rushed process but you may still need to have a rethought about the whole situation and come to term with the fact that there is no right time or wrong timing for the adoption of any innovation that is of national interest most especially when it has to do with a country and government. President Bukele is a smart young leader that knows when to strike and how to strike even though Bitcoin has dropped in price since the purchase but we must not forget the fact that the El Salvador Bitcoin holding is not for short-term purposes so we should stop giving a short term result to long term goals or projects.
On the education of the citizens before adoption, I think it is better the way the El Salvador educational sector quickly adopt Bitcoin teaching into their curriculum and so many other post graduates' diploma programs in Bitcoin and blockchain adoption. So with time the effort of the El Salvador government in educating their public will start paying off as the growth in Bitcoin adoption within the country will increase and the use of the government-approved wallets chivo wallets were static and data on the level of growth and impact of Bitcoin adoption in El Salvador will be properly monitored to avoid roadside speculation, let give El Salvador some years to put things together before we can say truly the impact either a failure or success of the projects.
6172  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid loan apps, a word of advice. on: August 25, 2022, 09:59:43 PM
with some emergency then it would be considerable but if you do take up some loan for some useless intent then better skip out.
A loan is the worst way to finance yourself or any project, as you have rightly said one need to avoid loan as much as possible and stay free from them. I have experienced people losing their value to either banks or individuals they enter into loan agreements with but could not meet up with payment. But one of the cases I heard in my country is about a loan firm that steals their client information by hacking into their phonebook without their knowledge and contacting everyone on the contact list which is against the privacy law and punishable under the law.

But in-between note that bitcointalk is an anonymous forum so the individual behind the account cryptocurrencybrainboss may not be celebrating his real-life birthday unless he set it to represent his real-life date of birth.
But whichever way happy birthday to user @cryptocurrencybrainboss may heaven shower you with all the wonderful things you deserve as you have continued to be a light and a guide to others. Am proud of you bro.
6174  Other / Archival / Re: Why has bitcoin adoption failed in El Salvador? on: August 25, 2022, 11:51:47 AM
If that thing really happens, then I would regret that I am not a Salvadorian. People would be really happy to see how their $30 turned into $60. This might be only an illusion, but I think those who managed to get free BTC in their Chivo wallets, have already spend them. I doubt that adoption triggered people to make investment in Bitcoin, so that when price hits $100k, they would feel a significant effect.
Oh no ops so funny, you want to change your nationality because of a $30 airdrop and wait for the price of Bitcoin to reach $100,000 so that your $30 will become $60. We must not forget the motive behind the $30 airdrop which is to aid the citizen in making transactions using Bitcoin through the government approved chivo wallets to help test the wallet and to collect feedback and possibly improve on the wallet performance and update, but many El Salvadorians only withdrew the $30 and abandon the wallet after that, while few percentages of the population have 50% usage of the wallet. The low adoption is mostly a result of a lack of awareness and education among the citizens but at the moment the government is taking the necessary steps in educating their citizens and building their awareness of the advantages of bitcoin as an alternative currency in the country.
6175  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | 0.28% House edge | Live tables | Baccarat |Slots| InstantWithraw on: August 25, 2022, 11:12:58 AM
Or, instead of issuing a volatile token, which will only be sold or manipulated, BlackJack.fun can offer casino rewards that can be exchanged for free spins, free dice throws, or free Plinko balls. I believe it would have the same positives, without the inconvenience.
You are right on that, the dangers of issuing blackjack tokens can harm the casino and may result in a long-lasting negative impact on the revenue of the site. I had a second thought on that token issuance and haven't taken into account how volatile the cryptocurrency market is having a casino base token can be dangerous especially when the token gets exposed to a bad market. Unless the token is limited as a utility token used for betting and playing games on the site with an incentive to players who use them to place the bets.
6176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this true or not? on: August 24, 2022, 04:31:30 PM
As the adoption continues, the volatility has been decreasing.
It is not actually correlated with adoption.

When an asset has higher and higher price, it becomes more expensive and the volatility should be consequently smaller. At least the difference between two all time highs should be smaller. It's natural.

Bitcoin now has price in thousands of dollar but you can see its in altcoins now. Altcoins are easier to have x10, x100 in bull run and it is exactly what Bitcoin experienced with its past bull run.

Higher price means higher marketcap and it's harder to manipulate higher market capped projects.
You are right Bitcoin is less volatile because Bitcoin price is high at the moment, what most Bitcoin price analysts failed to include in their analysis is the fact that, the present price of Bitcoin is an all time high in the past and this is why Bitcoin is less volatile compared to altcoin. So for long term base bitcoin is consider to be the best option since the price volatility ratios is low,  as it stands Bitcoin inflation ratio is lower than that of the United States. And talking about altcoin there just garbage that can easily get pumped and dump at will. When Elon musk thought Bitcoin to be like dogecoin he made is statement and coincidentally the price dropped significantly and many believe that Elon musk statement contributed to the drop in the price of Bitcoin, but than Bitcoin have maintained a strong resistance level that did not allow Bitcoin price to drop below the previous two all time high before Elon musk came into the scene.

6178  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Clipboard Virus on: August 23, 2022, 09:32:16 PM
A few of my newbie friends have experienced the same clipboard phishing on one of two occasions and all thos were because they clicked some links that were sent to them in an unsuspecting manner, so I advised them never to click on any link sent to them via spam mails and through telegram, because those are the popular means hackers use to get access to either your PC of phones. Hackers are on rampage so one need to be extra careful to protect your devices from being cloned by hackers.
6179  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid loan apps, a word of advice. on: August 23, 2022, 08:58:19 PM
Your friend's loan would have been on default before the loan company will be able to deduct the loan directly from his bank account. Why your friend did not pay in time? Your friend is to be blamed. Before he loaned money, there is ToS and how the loan will be. Do not loan the amount of money you are not able to get back at a certain period you plan to back the loan.
Just what I was about to ask, in this case, I don't blame the loan company for deducting the money from the account as soon as there was a deposit, the friend account is already on debit from the company before the credits arrived and according to the terms and conditions of the loan to be deducted from the account on the due date and if the loan defaults like the friend did ten some other charges will even be added. In as much as being against loan defaulting, the friend should avoid taking a loan because there are several loan sharks around that are violating their client's rights to this day even to the point of them hacking into customers' phonebook contact and sending them SMS messages so many characters assassinating statement.
6180  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is People buying Bitcoin ? BTC Market Forecast September - December 2022 on: August 23, 2022, 08:40:32 PM
The bitcoin market is unpredictable so for you to say the bear market is ending soon is an exaggerated statement since we are in a volatile market space nobody can predict the future of Bitcoin price, the price could move in whatever direction it all depends on the kind of news that break as regards to Bitcoin either positive or negative they're all have their impact on the price. Claiming to be Satoshi is another statement that is false because Satoshi has an account on the forum so if you post to claim his identity then that is a criminal act.
