6161  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people buy high and sell low on: March 14, 2018, 01:33:48 PM
I've been one of those people, the people that buy at the high points of crypto and then sell low, losing my money and then later on losing out on a good amount of profits which I could've made. I'd like to know some of the reasons that people do this, besides doing it to cut their losses as that one is my reason.

Thanks guys!
This scenario happens because of volatility in the market as welk as misfortune. People tend to buy even if the price is high because of expectations that continuous increase will happen. But since Bitcoin is naturally volatile, uncertainties or deflations are taking place in a sudden. As an investor you won't allow losing a lot of money so they will sell because they are worried that the dump might continue so what they do is to cut their losses. Keep in mind that holding is a must if you are aiming for huge profit.
6162  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price stabilizes? on: March 14, 2018, 12:59:13 PM
Bitcoin fell 70% from 19500$ peak and negative headlines had wiped out billions in value in cryptocurrencies,
But top U.S. regulators testifying before a Senate committee called for greater oversight, without proposing industry-killing measures.
That was something different from crackdown on crypto that hapened in asia, and created picture of stable asset from Bitcoin.
That news gave enough positive momentum for traders to continue investing in cryptocurrencie market and Bitcoin, and returned more than
100 billion $ back in crypto market, as we can see in the last week.

Something that can give us a little more volatility in price is Chinese New Year celebrations for the Year of the Dog begin in China
and follow across much of Asia, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Chinese mainland markets are closed Feb. 15-21.

Too early to conclude. Indeed the market value fell down hard for about 60% of its market value last year but it doesn't mean that it now stabilizes knowing that Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency which is having a natural volatility in the market. Market stability is impossible for currencies such as Bitcoin since these are just dependent with the demand in the market. Surely its market value will again rise at the end of this year so just invest and hold.
6163  Economy / Economics / Re: What is a good amount of BTC to Buy? on: March 14, 2018, 07:49:34 AM
What is a good amount of Bitcoin to buy for first time buyers new to the crypto market? What kind of return can you expect to see within a week?
An amount of .3 would be a good start at this moment because the market value of Bitcoin increased unlike way back 3 years from now. Also, keep in mind that the bigger your investment is, the larger your profit will be. Actually, any amount okay  investment would be okay since the market value of Bitcoin us continuously growing as years are passing by. Sonjust invest.
6164  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? on: March 13, 2018, 11:36:14 PM
The reason maybe is yhat Bitcoin is dependent with the demand and since the demand in thearket changes a lot, same thing happens with the market value of Bitcoin. Volatility still is a natural phenomenomwhen it comes with cryptocurrencies so basically, it is not only experienced by Bitcoin but also by other cryptos in the market. Volatility also is profitable. So it is not totally a bad thing in terms of investment.
6165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most cryptocurrencies will crash to zero on: March 13, 2018, 09:37:50 PM
As quoted from CNBC there is a cryptocurrency will be zero.

What do you think ?

From :

https://www. cnbc. com/2018/02/07/most-cryptocurrencies-will-crash-to-zero-goldman-sachs-says.html
That's just impossible knowing that cryptos are having demand in the market which gives the increase on its market value. Crashes are hundred percent normal but tfor the market value of MOST cryptos to fall as low as zero? That's absurd! Probably at the end of this year, good things will be to Bitcoin. It is jist that we should only wait and be patient. Invest for now and hold to earn huge profit in the future.
6166  Economy / Economics / Re: When will the market turn and start growing again? on: March 13, 2018, 09:17:28 PM
As soon as everyone starts shouting about the lowly in one voice and the collapse of the exchanges, then the market will unfold. This will say that those who used to shop earlier started selling the crypt. At this time, large players will buy crypto currency from nervous people, and when bought up, news agencies and TV will begin to generate a positive background for crypto-instruments. A new rally will begin without those who left the concert.
Actually, we really don't know when will the dump end and when will the increase take place. There are only expectations that its market price will go up on the last quarter if this year because of what happened last year. Still, no one knows if this is already assured. So for now, invest and hold. Surely, dumps are temporary and the market will be stagnant soon once the increase takes place.
6167  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your prediction about the price of Bitcoin at the end of this month? on: March 13, 2018, 03:53:01 PM
I think Bitcoin price value will bounce back at the end of this month because we have passed a couple of weeks without price value increasing. I hope Bitcoin price will reach at least 13K USD within this March.
So what about you..?
I'd say that its market value will not be that high. Volatility is really observable at this moment so selling is not advisable. I think its market value will be 10000 USD at the end of this month. I am not expecting a market value of 15k or more because that's just impossible to see rught now. For now, since there's no assurance, continue holding and investing. Avoid selling because it will just make the situation worse.
6168  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest in BTC vs Invest in Real Estate? on: March 13, 2018, 02:45:52 PM
Bitcoin chart is going up and down some times I am thinking maybe I should invest part of my BTC (at least the part of the profit  I’ve made on crypto) into something real?!
Let’s say I can buy share of real estate company and get the part of profit (50-100% per Year).

Should I
Spend all my BTC on that shares?
                Spend small (profit) part?
Or just do nothing and wait?

Huh?!

I’ll do appreciate for answers with any suggestions and recommendations!

Due to the more active market value of cryptos compared to real estate stocks, I would say that investing to Bitcoin is much profitable. Still, stocks are safer to invest given that it has a constant increase even if most of it are for long term. Bitcoin is way risky compared to stocks but it is just that the more risky an investment, the bigger profit to be earned from it. So it will just depend on your perceptions.
6169  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you still use bitcoins if the price would be stable? on: March 13, 2018, 02:28:10 PM
I am pretty much interested to know how many people here uses bitcoin because of it's system, because of the anonymous and the security it provides, and because of the fact that it is really easy to transact over the internet, and there's no one who can just block your account(unlike paypal, a platform that provides an easy way to pay over the internet, but you rely on PayPal to keep your account open).

So, are you guys using bitcoin because of it's nature, or because it's a financial tool of making money?

I think it would be in favor for casual users because they will be able to use it just like a fiat but with advantages since it is a virtual currency. The risk will be lessen which is because of the absence of volatility in the market. Investors will be thr one who will probably won't benefit from this change. They are earning profit from the volatility so it will not be good for them . In my case I would still use  Bitcoin.
6170  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is better Trade or Invest? on: March 08, 2018, 12:53:40 PM
Hi guys , Some of my friends are give me some ideas about Trading and Investing.

But i've some doubt which is better in that. What is the advantage and disadvantage? Because I want to focus on one at a time for generating source of income coz my funds are limited.

Can you give some of your useful ideas? I'm a begginer. I need some help. Thank you!
I prefer investing rather than trading because I think trading is more risky compared to investing whereas you will just invest your money into something that you think is profitable. Trading also is a bit complicated especially for newbies and there are lot of things to remember.  Trading accoring to other people's opinion is more profitable but still, investments are safer compared to trading.
6171  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Trading When Red? on: March 08, 2018, 12:33:30 PM

It is said that we can make money in trading when the market is up as well as when the market is down. Right now, the cryptocurrency market is experiencing a big bloodbath (though there might have been bigger ones before) where some are estimating that we lost around 40% of the market value so far. Though I personally believe that this is just temporary and very historical (it happened in the past on the same period), it is still sad to see what we have already gained just wipe out in some hours and days. This is just the way with cryptocurrency market...

Under this dire situation, are you still trading or you are pausing for a while just waiting for the right timing when to buy coins and tokens again?

Trading while the market is red, surely is risky.  Much better if you will wait until the market recover or to turn green. In that way you will be able to make sure of the profit. Buying is more advisable as well as holding. That's obvious. Crashes are only temporary and after a couple of weeks, recovery will take place. It is a typical scenario with cryptocurrencies. So just buy at dips.

6173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: February 28, 2018, 11:46:02 PM
I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
No one can actually conclude anything yet considering the fact that bitcoin is not a stable currency and it is not even legal worldwide yet. There will always be chances that the value of bitcoin will fall as it goes illegal for some countries which will surely lead into its extinction. If people would keep on believing on it, maybe it would get a shot in the future.
6174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable on: February 28, 2018, 11:39:48 PM
bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable.

currency should be more stable.

you may reply me. currency is not stable also but you should think

USD currency price is up and down 1-2% in 1 month.

bitcoin price is up and down 20% in 1 month.

what will people think if they just change USD to bitcoin then their money down 10% in 10 minutes?

bitcoin can become stock but cannot become currency
Actually, bitcoin has all the capabilities on replacing our present currencies considering the fact that it has a lot of good features which makes it more attractive and it can even give great convenience for everyone compared to our present currencies. If only it is legal worldwide, it will surely dominate and take over the world as it becomes the currency we will be using.
6175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: February 28, 2018, 11:35:08 PM
October 29, 2017 Bitcoin price ranges from $6,000 - $6,100 and today, bitcoin price is now $7,000. Are you surprise?

I think, if only those people who planning to invest in bitcoin manage to notice this sudden increase. I think there is a high chance that they will start investing.

Right now, not anymore. After the sudden pump I have already expected that a dump will soon follow that's why I will be more careful right now so that I can still benefit a lot from bitcoin. I still have faith on bitcoin and I believe that the value will sooner rise again. Time will come wherein its price will surpise us once again so we should keep our eyes on it and see.
6176  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to go below 4000$ on Feb 20 on: February 27, 2018, 02:48:54 PM
This thing did not happen and it only shpws that Bitcoin is really recovering and the continuous crash is already over. STOP spreadi g negativities with Bitcoin. It now already crossed 11000 USD of market value and if the increase will continue it will surely recover fully fom the correction which gave Bitcoin a rough start this year. Tbis s a huge opportunity especially foe the investors to earn huge profit due to the increase.
6177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the price be stable? on: February 27, 2018, 01:53:47 PM
I remembered watching a video about bitcoins and the simple information that a beginner can understand. It says that bitcoin only has the maximum of 21 million bitcoins and 17 or 18 million has been mined.

What would happen if the very last block were mined? Will the value of bitcoin finally be stabilized?
Volatility is something that s natural not only with Bitcoin but to most of the cryptos. There are moments wehere its market value seems to be stagnat but the truth is that its market price still moves. It is just the the movement is not that big so therefore volatility is still present. But its volatility is not totally a bad thing since a user may earn profit out of it such as investing on the dips and selling on the pumps.
6178  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin finally hit 20K on: February 27, 2018, 12:55:30 PM
After a long wait Bitcoin is rising up in charts.Do you think Bitcoin will finally hit 20K this month if its price increase rapidly? Roll Eyes
It's still hard to determine at this moment whereas fluctuations are always taking place which make the market value of Bitcoin to struggle on the increase of it market value. It is currently stucked at 10000 USD but hoping that it will eventually continue climbing its way up. Remember, it almost reached the 20k mark last year and that's something to look forward with this year.
6179  Economy / Economics / Re: How do I get bitcoin? on: February 27, 2018, 12:39:21 PM
Earning comes on various ways such as trading and mining wherein both are a bit complicated especilly for newcomers. There are also campaigns where you may earn Bitcoin from ICOs which is more advisable for newbies. You may also directly invest to it to acquire one and hold to earn profit due to the continuous increase on its market value.
6180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still buy Bitcoin? on: February 27, 2018, 12:08:29 PM
Crash on its market value is just normal. It happens not only with bitcoin but also with other cryptocurrencies. Most of the cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin are naturally volatile. Investing or buying Bitcoin will be always a good decision because for a long run, its market value is continuously increasing and therefore profit is assured upon buying Bitcoin.
