Neymar is the heir to Messi's throne at Barca. No way he leaves now, why would he want to join the crap French league any way?
6182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: July 27, 2017, 09:35:56 AM
I think Man City will win the title this season. My prediction of the top 4 is as follows -

1. Manchester City
2. Chelsea
3. Liverpool
4. Man Utd

The sad thing is that it might be easier for me to get my namecoins from BTC-e from the government than it is getting past their verification process due to a frozen account. After sending a copy of my passport and 3 months of bank statements they rejected it saying they needed a notarized ID scan from a third party, 3 months of proof of salary, utility bill, bank statements (all notarized) etc.

In other words, they want to keep all of my coins and no amount of verification will suffice.

How many coins are we talking about buddy? I hope a large majority of your HODLING'S aren't on there. This shit always seems to happen when we are in a good moment price rise. I hope we don't end up with an epic dump Gox style.
6184  Economy / Speculation / Re: Goldman Sachs predicts Bitcoin may get as high as $3600 in the next wave on: July 27, 2017, 09:15:03 AM
$3,600 in the next wave, that's be pretty impressive & damn good for us. I guess the question is when will the next wage be, perhaps as a result of August 1st?
6185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: August 1- Should I keep my BTC at Coinbase? on: July 27, 2017, 09:12:32 AM
Absolutely not, you need to ensure that your bitcoin's are in a wallet that you are the sole owner of the private keys.
Use a paper wallet or bitcoin core client.
6186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2017 Football Summer Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 17, 2017, 01:08:25 PM
I've been hearing rumors that Pep is letting Aguero go and that he's going to Chelsea...?  WTF?!?  How could this be and who would he replace him with?  If it's Alexis Sanchez then why not offer a deal at Arsenal to get Sanchez plus cash for Aguero?

Is Pep looking at bigger game to hunt?  Maybe even Mbappe?  Cheesy

Jesus is expected to really push on this season. If Man City get Sanchez too I think they will be favorite for the title.

Embarrassing seeing the noob sell off. You should be buying, not selling. Good to see us back over $2000, surely now the only way is up?
6188  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 12, 2017, 04:51:29 PM
Well good morning Bitcoinland. Looks like another typical day.

Let's see what we've got so far:

A new ATH? Check.

A substantial correction/profit-taking? Check.

A sizeable rebound partway back up? Check.

Trolls and altcoin shills coming out of the wood work using words like "extinction" "end" and "death"? Check.
____

What I see is a dip all the way down to $100 higher than we were less than 5 days ago, followed by a bounce back to where we were the day before yesterday.

Now it's consolidating where we were half a week ago... Currently $2753USD (Bitcoinaverage). A nice correction to keep the continuing uptrend honest perhaps, but barely a buying opportunity. If it bounces back down toward $2.7k, perhaps I'll buy a little.

It certainly didn't drop enough to justify all the pessimism and hand-wringing I see here this morning.

I've been in this game since 2014, I guess you have even longer. Why are we still getting ridiculous hysteria & trolling when the price dips, what I wouldn't even class as a significant drop.

We saw over $2900 yes but a correction into the $2600's is nothing to worry about if you're a bull or HODLER & I'd say if you're a bear a drop of this % is nothing to get excited over either.

We have some strange posters in this thread these days.
6189  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 12, 2017, 01:38:37 PM

O RLY !!!!!

The price is $2770 on Stamp, I'd barely even call that a dump.
6190  Economy / Speculation / Re: Demise of bitcoin under Eth on: June 12, 2017, 12:27:51 PM
Quicker than a speeding bullet... The duck is back. Lol.

Where you been the last few weeks??  Grin

Licking his wounds after the recent epic rise. First opportunity of giving bitcoin a kicking he's back. You would think after predicting $200 coins he'd we wary of making a fool of himself AGAIN.
6191  Economy / Speculation / Re: can my bitcoin drop to nothing on: June 12, 2017, 10:02:14 AM
so I got my first 40$ worth of bitcoin i noticed that the that the 40$ goes up and down. Im scared that it will go to 0$ is this possible?, Should i spend my bitcoin on a giftcard? any help please

Lol it's highly unlikely that $40 worth of bitcoin will go to $0 due to the exchange rates. What I suggest is you keep that $40 or whatever it is now (likely double or more as you posted in March) & add to it in amounts that you can afford.
6192  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin "Perfect Storm" Brewing for Summer 2020? on: June 12, 2017, 09:59:51 AM
I've seen this discussed a few times & 2020 is the time when I think the price will break out violently in an upwards surge. The halving is around that time & like you said when hundreds of thousands of people descend on bitcoin friendly Japan for the Olympics we are likely to see upwards of $25,000 per coin.
6193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New way and this works fine for me on: June 12, 2017, 09:56:05 AM
I've been in a few months making bookkeeping for every deposit / withdrawal i did. Sounds a bit stupid but I feel the benefit of it all. Like I can resist my desire to gamble after loss much or after get huge wins. did you wanna try my way  Wink

Sounds like a really good idea & a very responsible way of gambling. I salute you for it, you're far more likely to be a sensible & calculated gambler this way.

Well done.
6194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin any closer to solving its problems? on: June 12, 2017, 09:52:29 AM
Nope. One btc core dev saying that in the worst case segwit would activate by november. Bitcoin won't be top 3 by then.

November damn that's not good. ETH is catching up & catching up fast. I wish these assholes would put aside their differences & reach some kind of consensus for the good of the entire bitcoin community.
6195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your best luck and worst luck gambling experience? on: June 12, 2017, 09:50:35 AM
I seem to have more bad luck than good luck especially in recent times but my best gambling experiences have come in soccer parlays. I've won a handful of parlays with really nice odds over the years. For my bad experiences see most weeks of my bets Grin

6197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: June 12, 2017, 09:44:01 AM
ETH is beginning to worry me, it's growth has been very quick & now has to be respected. I'm thinking I might need to invest a little just incase it moons, maybe $1000.
6198  Economy / Speculation / Re: The transfer of wealth from the everyday bankers to the people in tech on: June 12, 2017, 09:41:26 AM
Congratz on this upcoming victory.

10 year phase 1 complete, bravo Bitcoin.

For every bubble, Bitcoin re calibrates itself shifting forward.

SHOUT OUT TO ETHEREUM TOO!

The next 10 years will blow them out of the water completely.

You can't stop the transfer of wealth agreed upon and backed by the actual people.

10 years is just about the right amount of time for bitcoin to explode into mainstream adoption I agree. I'm expecting $50,000 valued bitcoin's by then.
6199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 12, 2017, 09:37:38 AM
Meh..  Good riddance.  I never liked Costa much and hated him when it was rumored that he was downing tools when Mourinho was still managing Chelsea.  That kind of person has no honor and he doesn't deserve to play in the top clubs of Europe.  It's better for him to sell out and do a big money move to China.

You make some good points there to be honest, he is a bit of an asshole. I don't know how he hasn't been sent off more times, always seems to get away with stuff.

Chelsea should cash in, you're right.

If Chelsea lose Costa they will get good money for him & replace him with a great striker. They are EPL Champions & now have CL football so they can attract a good replacement.
6200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is more risky. Sport or casino bets ? on: June 11, 2017, 04:43:32 PM
I think casino gambling is definitely more risky than sports gambling. Casinos have a house edge on most games there where as sports gambling at least is determined on an outside influence, not a house edge. I much prefer sports gambling.
