6181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Bull Tom Lee v. Bear Tone Vays on: April 17, 2019, 07:26:25 AM
Of course everyone wanted to hear a bullish predictions so I'm going with Tom Lee here.  Grin.

I don't think that we are going to see $1k or need to go on final capitulation before seeing the price goes up and at least hit 5 digits again.

All the bullish sign are already here, we have broken a lot of resistance since the all low time low. So I doubt that $1k is within the realm, so to speak.
6182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 16, 2019, 05:48:30 AM
Just watched the hilights of Nets vs 6'ers. It was really close in the first 2 quarters, and eventhough sixers will have a run, nets will simply close it out. However, in the 3rd quarter, sixers made a good run and nets doesn't have any answer for that as they win 145-123.

I wonder though about Joel, it looks like he is injured or something is bothering his foot. It will be a factor as the series will probably go on 5-6 games, imho.
6183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BREAKING news.. Binance will delist BSV on🔥 22th April! 🔥 on: April 16, 2019, 05:38:05 AM
Oh well, it's just about time though, Craig Wright has been attacking bitcoin since he created his forked coin, and now he got the full forced of bitcoin purist like CZ and others.

If other haven't heard, Shapeshift in the next exchanges that delist BSV,  https://twitter.com/ErikVoorhees/status/1117842010793099265. Gemini didn't list this coin, by I'm speculating that more exchanges will follow what Binance has started.
6184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: HACKED THIS AFTERNOON! PLEASE HELP! on: April 16, 2019, 05:23:12 AM
Sorry to hear what had happened to you.  Angry

Since crypto transaction is irreversible, you can't do anything about it. I will just advise you to just take some time off to at least recover emotionally.

6185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers will go after IEO soon on: April 16, 2019, 05:17:37 AM
Of course, it will. Scammers will find a way to cheat and exchanges with new IEO projects. Providing scammers to the exchange with quality documents is not a problem, and in the exchanges there is no law enforcement capacity to conduct a quality check of the team members of such an IEO. Therefore, in the future, we are still waiting for loud scandals on exchanges with fraudulent IEO and the popularity of a new type of fundraising through the exchanges will also fall.

I'm pretty sure that exchanges before accepting IEO are doing their due diligence. Bittrex for instance, cancelled their first IEO, RAID because it was a scam. Those exchanges that are launching IEO are mostly top exchanges, so I doubt that they are going to ruin their reputations by listing scam projects.

Most likely you should not reinvent the wheel. We need government regulation of ICO, which will save this convenient and simple form of fund-raising from fraud.

Everything in life evolves. If ICO model has flawed, it's just about time that we need to re-invent the wheel. "If ain't broke, don't fix it", but we all know that ICO is very flawed at the beginning that's why it needed some fix.
6186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Masters Golf Tournament 2019 Top Picks on: April 16, 2019, 04:53:35 AM
damn tho what happened to tiger's hair?

Too much testosterone dude,  Grin

It's just a matter of time before Tiger Woods is going to win another masters. And that dude who won million bucks just so happen to ride on that probability that this could be the tournament that we are all going to see Tiger back in form and claims his green jacket. Congrats you lucky bastard!!! Grin
6187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Bitcoin SV going to crash? on: April 16, 2019, 04:47:56 AM

Shapeshift joining the battle, https://twitter.com/ErikVoorhees/status/1117842010793099265

Looking at the price now in cmc:

$57.04 USD (-21.14%)

So it did have a flash crash already. What do you expect? We all know that this forked coin has nothing to do with Satoshi's vision, it was created just for pure pump-and-dump and now CW is paying the price of his recent attacks on Hodlnaut.
6188  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at $9,000 by the end of the year on: April 16, 2019, 04:41:45 AM
Well anything can happen and we can't be sure will have 9,000$ or more at the end of year, what we can do is to not sell and get more coins and hold for a better price and why not for a new ATH.
well, up to this point, I did plan to hold bitcoin, or the assets I have to wait for a high price. this price can indeed happen at any time. however, I also think that it is likely to occur at the end of this year.

Look for the long haul dude.

You just need to HODL, buy in dips and have the patience not to sell it unless the price is really that high or if we have reach another all-time-highs.

It's just the first quarter of the year, we still have a long way to go and personally I think we are already in the bearish zone and soon the price could go to $6k and and then to $10k at the end of the year.
6189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sooo about a year or so ago Tether ... FUD ...???? Dead according to so many??? on: April 15, 2019, 10:03:23 AM
AFAIK the case that was filed against them is still on going and they are trying to make their name clear again.

It was the printing of $400M USDT.

If my memory serves me right, this is the accusations against them. Are they running on fractional reserves just like many banks do?

They don't want to be audited as well, that's why many have been calling them a scam.

So if the case is still running then obviously we can't say for certain if they are a scam or not, but for investors there have been a lot of red flags.
6190  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull market is back? on: April 15, 2019, 06:52:24 AM
I don't know about you guys, when we are in the bear market, people are complaining that we need the bulls to be back. But when we are seeing a positive gains in the last 2 months, you say that we are not in a bull market.  Grin

So I really find it funny that when the market is improving, it's not a bull market? The thing is, we are onto the zone of a mildly bull run, meaning that the bull have started and all herds are slowly in the area already. Let's see if we could touch $5600 this week or early next week and listen again and say that we are still not yet in the bull run, lol.  Grin
6191  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Whales Move 42,616 BTC As Leading Crypto Tests $5,000 on: April 15, 2019, 06:46:30 AM
Crypto whale watchers are tracking a pair of huge Bitcoin transactions that moved a total of 20,378 BTC worth about $102.5 million.
Both transactions happened between unknown wallets and do not appear to be traders gearing up to sell.

9,939 BTC worth $50.0 million transferred from unknown wallet to unknown wallet
10,439 BTC worth $52.5 million transferred from unknown wallet to unknown wallet

The movements are part of a larger Bitcoin whale migration happening as the markets move into the red.

In the last 24 hours, whales moved a total of 42,616 BTC worth about $215 million, at the time of writing. The vast majority of the BTC was moved off of crypto exchanges to unknown wallets, or from one crypto exchange to another.
A few weeks back there was a news that there is a hundred  million dollars worth of buy order being executed between a few exchanges through a combined effort and may be those coins are being moved to another wallets  Tongue Cheesy. Whale watchers, it is a funny word in the market, just monitoring huge transactions being carried out and glad that they did not come up with the FUD news that a huge sell order is taking place to bring down the market  Cheesy.

At least they didn't try to create FUD in the article. Yeah, but what the heck, whale watchers? Lol, Definitely those people has a lot of time in their hands to look at those big wallets and when and how the move it.

Anyways, it didn't put any dent of the price, as it is testing maybe $5200-$5300 in the next coming days so it's going to be interesting. If we broke those resistance then we are getting  closer to where prior to the massive drop, around the $6000-$6500 range. So let's see if we can get and broke psychological barriers again.
6192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops and Bounty Campaign. How it looks from the different side? on: April 15, 2019, 06:41:23 AM
As others have said, the best option for you is to hire a bounty manager, make a deal to pay whether tokens or bitcoin and your problem is gone. I haven't heard any automated tools though, if I'm in your shoes, it better to get someone who has experience and trusted instead of relying to apps that might bring you more problems in the future.

Check the link that someone has given above me and choose the best manager that you see fit for your campaigns.
6193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 15, 2019, 06:21:57 AM
Portland and oklahoma city game will be an interesting one to watch due to the lillard vs westbrook matchup because head to head they are almost identical in the way they play.
Surprising fact is okc has beaten the blazers in all the four times they met in the regular season.
But the playoffs are a different story as the majority of games played yesterday has shown this to be true.

They also had some beef a while ago right?

So yeah, it's going to be interesting and there are emotions going to flare in this game for sure. And then are players like Paul George who really wanted to show how good they are in this kind of games. So let's see if Lillard can go toe to toe with Russ specially in talking thrashed.  Grin
And finally the Blazers won, and it's very timely as it happened in the first game of the playoffs.
This is good for them, I thought the lost of Nurkic will affect them badly, but Kanter fill that shoes by having a monster performance.

What?...... 18 rebounds and 20 points, that was huge, and that total rebounds includes 7 off rebounds.

Yeah, Kanter step up big time that's why Portland was able to pull a win. Damn, we all say that Portland can no chance to even with a game without Nurkic, but playoff games are really very different. It's either guys choke or elevate there game.

Russell Westbrook, his usual triple double, but George looks like suffering from shoulder injury affecting  his shooting, Lilard has 30 points so it's good to see Portland winning a game after being sweep two consecutive years by New Orleans and GSW.
6194  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Why the market is falling and why not be afraid on: April 15, 2019, 06:10:08 AM
So many things can cause the market price to fall.
But I am never worried or afraid because I have confidence in the cryptocurrency Market .
I believe that bitcoin still has a long way to go regarding it's potentials.

Bitcoin and crypto currency market is going great and these days bitcoins and altcoins are slowly moving upwards. If this positive trends continue, i am sure we will see 10,000$ Bitcoin price very soon

I'm very bullish about bitcoin so I would agree with your observation or prediction. I even posted a thread about bitcoin having its 7th weeks consecutive of having greens.

$5k is possible within this year, market is moving, money coming in slowly and the overall sentiments of people are very positive. So no doubt that $10k is within reach. You might be surprise if we hit above that before the end of the year.  Grin.
6195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Paypal Board Member: Bitcoin May Grow 250x on: April 15, 2019, 06:01:43 AM
~
I am very concerned when I read such comments
whether Wences Casares or John McAfee or anyone who publishes such exaggerations, is causing a state of unreliability
btc will not spread with the exaggerated.

these types of exaggerations have always existed in bitcoin and sometimes they aren't that bad either. for example in this case i don't see him giving any kind of unrealistic timeframe like McAfee or a couple of others did and $1 million per bitcoin has been predicted before and there is a pretty good chance that it will eventually happen.

Tim Draper's 250k prediction is much more sensible, but 1 million is still in the realm of possibility (within 20 years). Max Keiser's 100k prediction is even more realistic. However, what I find absurd are predictions of 10 or 100 million.

Yeah it is in the real of possibility but it will take some time as you have pointed.

See, when bitcoin price is making a headway, lots of bullish sentiments are coming out. And who would forgot John M. prediction?  Grin

We are not yet in the 5 digits but we have heard a lot of perma bulls getting out of their hibernation and making lavishly claims about X amount of prediction. Just wait till next year and I'm sure almost everyone of them will be singing the same tune again.
6196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was the Future BlockChain Summit 2019, useful? on: April 14, 2019, 10:38:11 PM
How many attended the Future BlockChain Summit 2019, that happened in Dubai last week? Did anyone find it useful? Why did not crypto giants like the Bitcoin participate? Do they generally ignore? Also, except for Ripple I didn't see many companies projecting their plans or growth. Had much expectations but was disappointed. Or may be because this is just a beginning... Anyone here to share their experience?

Not aware of this summit, and I have never attended one. I think it has nothing to do with bitcoin though. It was "Blockchain" summit. And I'm assuming that they will discussed about the technology and it's used case and application in real life rather that the state of cryptocurrency.

There is no projection in growth because there is no company behind, most crypto are decentralizes so there's no authority from behind who will make predictions.
6197  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bulls need time on: April 14, 2019, 10:21:38 PM
The recent spike was not due to whales moment. We later found that 3 investors bought bitcoin for milliaons respectively. Around $1k spike in 2 days really overwhelmed everyone who was holding it for more than 15 months. This spike has brought the other altcoins to their next level as well.
The surge on price was absolutely not from the because it would surge past the $5000 price if the whales are involved but saying 3 investors was the reason behind the green trend in the market is what I don't agree with you because if the mentioned investors was indeed the reason for the surge the market demand won't be strong enough to maintain the $5000-5500range.
I would rather see a bit of pullback and defend of $5k price level and see even bigger accumulation phase - if that will come true there would be more positive effects in future - healthier uptrend.

The $5k price level has been defended very well in the last couple of days. We see the price went as high as $5300 on some exchanges, followed by a bit of correction, but it seems we are back at $5k-$5150. So again, I consider this the new low price for bitcoin.

And this could indicate that we will see more healthier uptrend in the coming weeks as the market conditions are really improving.
6198  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin posts seven consecutive weeks of gains on: April 14, 2019, 10:09:13 PM
I found this on trading view:

https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BTCUSD/EamcMylT-Bitcoin-posts-seven-consecutive-weeks-of-gains/

So it looks like in the last 7 weeks bitcoin is posting gains. Specially in the last week wherein we have a massive jump to more than 20%. Imminent incoming bull-run? Get ready with your meme HODL. Grin
As at today we have a little retracement but bitcoin has refused to go below $5000. I think the support at $5000 is now stronger than when bitcoin was trying to break around $4250 last two weeks.  I am happy that our hope is been awakining and it seems to me that now still remains the best time to invest in bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin has found a new support at 5000$ and i hope bitcoin do not break this support. Many people were saying that bitcoin next movement will be below 3000$ etc, they all are silent after seeing this upward movement of bitcoins. We may see some retracements now because there cannot be all green candles forever, but bitcoin will not fall below 4800$.

As I have said, this $5k should be the new lows for now.

Yes, I also see that a lot of people are saying that the price would go below the $3k-$4k range but it seems that the market has improved a lot and investors are now slowly getting their acts together that why the price seems to be stabilizing at $5k so I don't think that we will go and fall in the next coming weeks.
6199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Sign Up with Rizin Fighting Federation on: April 13, 2019, 08:33:45 AM
Would love to hear out some criticism on here just like what i do mostly read up when Floyd involved on these exhibition matches.Time for Manny comments now. 3.2.1....lol

Well I see some criticism already.  But I don't think you will see more from this thread because Manny Pacquiao is so beloved in his country that no one will dare question his motives.

He will just say "I'm doing it for my country and for my beloved Filipinos".  Grin
6200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 13, 2019, 08:10:18 AM
Really rooting for Milwaukee Bucks this season.

They might be able to have that match against their bracket and in the finals. In west, I don't think GSW will be able to win now. Not just because I am not a fan anymore but because they are also having internal issues with the team. I saw Giannis as a great player ever since last season and I guess it is the best time to support him.
From the east, Giannis still needed to surpass Raptors, Sixers and Celtics, those teams are also waiting for their respective time to be at the finals, knowing how they can adjust since it's already the playoffs and all the team will surely reviews their lapses and how they can adjust to improve and advance to the next rounds, it will again test Giannis capabilities to move forward and prove himself.

It's going to be a big test for Giannis indeed.

The team you mentioned is very tough to overcome that's why if Giannis goes to the finals it will be a big accomplished already. They are the top seed, no doubt, but when play off comes, teams always put their game one notch so it will be a difficult road for team. So let's see if Giannis will not choke and show everyone why he is the future face of the NBA.
