6181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is blockchain gambling business beneficial? on: July 01, 2019, 03:50:24 PM
There are many games on blockchain on Asian market. How benefecial is it? Therefore, gambling industry has never suffered from lack of attention. And now, when blockchain technologies are being used for online games, the demand should increase. At least among users, such platforms will cause more confidence than ordinary platforms that spread like mushrooms, where you do not know whether you can withdraw your earnings or not
Yes! It is worth and valuable in gambling. Blockchain together with cryptocurrency makes gambling more interesting. Imagine, we can make money using cryptocurrency and gambling. In addition, there are also people who engage in gambling because of cryptocurrency. Just like me, Supposedly I do not know that there is online casino and I found it when I am using cryptocurrency.

I too think that almost 50% of the gamblers are those who enter in gambling because of bitcoins. Before the crypto, the craze of online gambling was limited and people were not very eager to spent their credit cards in online gambling. It's the bitcoin and crypto due to which we have seen a lot of growth in the gambling industry in last 2 to 3 years.
6182  Economy / Economics / Re: Any other areas that blockchain can be used? on: June 30, 2019, 01:32:28 PM
I've seen some companies testing it out in supply chains and registration information like titles and contracts.  None of them seem to be taking off though and the biggest use case remains to be censorship resistant money that can't be manipulated big a single party.

Blockchain can be used in many other forms and fields. In my country, some authorities are working to develop a blockchain based land revenue based system which will store all the land data in the blockchain which will make it secure and no one can modify the records from a blockchain based system.
Projects based on blockchain cannot be tempered and hence are secure.
6183  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Insurance on: June 30, 2019, 01:08:00 PM
What are your thoughts about having a compulsory insurance when someone wants to do some ICO so that investors are safe and the participants are also safe? So if ever they want to scam people, people are secured.

This is definitely a good idea since ICOs have a very bad image as of now. If this would happen, we would need a third party to hold the insurance fund either its a company, or an escrow. With this, the chances of an ICO to be a scam would be limitted.

It would be difficult to determine the price of the coins or maintain the price of the coins, so the purpose of insurance for an ico just not fall in the scope.

Due to the heightened risk of ICOs ending up as scams and just money grabs, I don't think insurance companies would even dare enter this market full of shitholes and scammers knowing that they're always betting against the wrong side of the coin. Also, even with the amount of regulations imposed for ICOs, I don't think people will view it differently ever again, knowing that only a few percent of those ICOs actually turned out to be legitimate. We know how insurance companies operate, and of course they wouldn't enter a market wherein they wouldn't gain shit.

No one will give any insurance for ICO because most of them are scam from the beginning. No insurance company will take such risk. Even i think IEO are also not reliable. They are however better then ICO because they list on exchanges at least.
6184  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin eventually disappear... on: June 30, 2019, 12:53:23 PM
I doubt it will disappear, Bitcoin is on its tenth year and we have a majority of responsible users who knows how to take care of their wallet, and newbies are not lacked tutorials on how to protect their coins and their private key, there are so many articles about it online and so many youtube videos as well.
right what you convey crypto or bitcoin currency is growing or missing it depends on the government and the investor itself so if the investor doesn't trade bitcoin again and the government forbids it hard maybe also b itcoin will disappear
I am still so sure that crypto and bitcoin will last a long time. although sometimes the government prohibits the circulation of bitcoin in every country. but even though many governments disagree, there are still many people who have used it to date.

Its strange to see that many people still believe that bitcoin is a bubble or temporary currency and it will fade away with time. This is not going to happen. Come back here in 10 years time and you will see bitcoin the main currency and fiat being eliminated or being very less used.
6185  Economy / Economics / Re: The Central Bank of Facebook on: June 30, 2019, 12:19:12 PM
One way or another, the Facebook coin will be used for trading within the network.  And if you consider each user individually, then since this resource is most used by citizens of Africa and India, you can outline the circle of interested people.  In any case, it is not necessary now to have a very limited opinion on this project.  The best look at the results.

As far as i know facebook is not supporting the Libra coin to be used in India at present. They may include and increase the supported countries list in the future though. Anyways it is yet to see whether this over hyped facebook coin manage to keep its hype and interest among the public.
6186  Economy / Economics / Re: What would you want to see on a Crypto Only exchange ? on: June 30, 2019, 12:09:38 PM
Of course I, as a crypto currency trader, wants an easy, safe, practical and efficient exchange, the KYC problem for me is not a problem, it is something that will protect us from actions that will harm the exchange and ourselves, many people complain about KYC, they feel that their privacy KYC has been disrupted.

I want to see volume first because if they have a great volume and they are not faking it, I can conclude that they are a good exchange.
Every exchange claim that they are the safest exchange but actually no exchange is safer from hack, but with the volume, they can't claim if they don't have the evidence which we can easily.

We do not need to make an account on every new exchange and deposit our money there. The prices of altcoins are almost similar across exchanges and therefore it is not require to do trading on new exchanges.  The new exchanges are only useful for any shitcoins to be listed there as there listing fees are less than the reputed old exchanges.
6187  Economy / Economics / Re: How to gradually replace a national currency with bitcoins on: June 30, 2019, 11:46:28 AM
I have been doing some thinking on how one would gradually convert a national currency to bitcoins.

The idea being that colored coins are used to peg the currency to the national currency for a specific amount of satoshis.

The amount of satoshis would need to equal the amount that the specific nation could handle as the smallest value that can be used as a currency.

Let's say that country X has a total of $100 billion of wealth in its own currency. To have each penny equal to one satoshi you would need 100,000 BTC set aside as colored coins for this nation (however that is done, a big national push, wealthy group, whichever).

For simplicity let's say the current BTC price is $10k/BTC. $1 billion would be needed to set this up.

Each colored satoshi will be given the value of .001 cents at the current conversion rate, and follow the rate of the nation's currency either through some sort of smart contract or centrally controlled ("trusted" sources) method.

People then use these colored coins in their day to day transactions, setting up payment terminals, lightning network payments, etc. It's just a new payment method with their same currency using a back end network that they need not understand.

As the bitcoin price rises from $10k/BTC to $1 million/BTC, their satoshis are now equal to one penny.

It is at this point that the moniker of their old currency is dropped and they use the satoshi as the smallest denomination, 100 satoshi as their main currency. They can now interact with this currency with the full Bitcoin network.

It may take years, but the adoption of this method for the nation would push that bitcoin price toward that $1 million/BTC and the same approach can be done for other nations.

TL;DR Smallest currency denomination is pegged to colored satoshis until one satoshi equals the smallest currency denomination and it is no longer colored.

Thoughts?

This is both hard to understand and implement too. Colored satoshi idea is just not suited for a currency which is not physical. The best idea can be to allow and legalize bitcoin in your country and use them as a means of payment. Although government will lose control over the currency, but this is the only way we can shift to bitcoins and digital currency.
6188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A new kind of scam in telegram using gambling site on: June 30, 2019, 11:34:25 AM
Every social media at the moment and i the past has doing that , Scammers are not afraid of anything to get on some money from others !
First they they write to give ya something to get your trust and after a while they fucking you up and dont care about it .

Scammers are always there to find new ways to scam. People will approach you through telegram and may ask for some investment in ponzi site or even they try to scam by playing a fake gambling game. We should always be careful as any one can impersonate anyone and try to ask money for help etc.
6189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which casino site is the best on: June 29, 2019, 05:28:36 AM
There are lot of best casinos nowadays and there are even more new casino appears in everyday. Primedice, Cryptogames, Bitsler, Bitdice, Fortunejack, as known as reputable and trusted gambling site since years ago. Stake, Windice, Onehash still considered as new gambling site/casino, but but you can trusted them too.
A huge increase in numbers of gambling sites existed today seemingly the competition went strong but we can't deny that people would love to choose those old and reputable ones. But its something went into our mind trying the new site and to know also what this site can give. We usually look for a friendly gambling site and new features which possible that we can't find it into long existed gambling sites.
There are so many casinos out there which are considered as the best casinos but it also depends on how you define the best. For me, a casino that does not require you to go through a KYC is a good casino but it does, I would not gamble on the casino regardless of how good the other services are. Better explore the casinos and chose your best spot.

Many casino do not offer kyc so we cannot claim all of those are good and trusted one. Those casino which are made for the scamming purpose never ask for kyc so this is not the right criteria to look for when searching for a good casino site.
For me, only the old and trusted casino are the best ones which have been for many years and never did any kind of scam with gamblers.
6190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for fair & trusted site? on: June 29, 2019, 05:07:09 AM
We can highly recommend crypto-games for playing dice, if you are looking for Slots mbit is our favorite
You will find a lot of sites on internet  but don’t start playing on those sites because if it is unfamiliar to you then it is possibly a fake site. Always try to start on sites which are familiar and you have heard of its performance. Only then you would be able to play safely without getting scammed on such sites as they are trusted ones and you can also promote them if you like they are performing well.

Yeah, right you need to be careful because there is a lot of site that's fake the purpose is to scam people, it's importance to know those legit sites, so you can play well and to prevent problem its better to start playing gambling to a sites that popular & legit.
There are a lot of source that we can use to get information. I think nowadays some thread like this will really help others as long they want to read and dig information by themself. Our review will really help them to decide which site that is good.

There are few very good trusted gambling and sports betting sites and anyone who is on this forum for some time and read the gambling section, can easily identify the top most visited trusted sites.  It is one's decision of which site he will select for himself based upon the reviews, features and interface of the site.
6191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I LOST OVER 10 BTC IN GAMBLING IN 2018 on: June 29, 2019, 04:58:24 AM
Maybe for some gamblers, 10 BTC is small only but for me that is living in a third world country that amount is very huge already.

Anyway, I feel sorry for your lost but there is a problem with you. You know that you are losing a lot of money and yet you chose to gamble all of your bitcoins. Gamblers must know how to control themselves especially when they are losing money consecutive times.

You should never feel sorry, even i realize he has no sad feeling of his biggest loss of 10 bitcoins in this thread. So why we feel sad on his loss. Also if he was a good gamblers then he must careful about his money, But he was not. However, it is his loss, and may be he has a lot of bitcoins, that's why he has no sorry of his big loss.
He was just being sympathetic for others and there is no wrong about that, that’s how we care for someone specially if we loss 10 bitcoin in which a huge amount for us to gamble

I hate to say this but OP should learn from this and will never let to happen again of else he will lose everything in life.this amount can be a big investment specially today that we are in bull market

Agree, the OP should be careful next time. According to @LogitechMouse, it's really a big money for those who're living in a third world country. I hope we should be very intellectual in every decision we will make in our life.

Currently the bitcoin is around 12,000$ and having 10 btc is a big amount for anyone, not just the ones living in underdeveloped world. In 2018 the average price of bitcoin was about 6000$, so if the OP has not lost this amount in gambling in 2018, its value may have been doubled by this time in terms of dollars.
6192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you gamble? on: June 29, 2019, 04:48:22 AM
my reason for gambling is for fun and  to win big money. it doesn't matter if i win or loose but i know my limit when to stop.
It is not good to make limits for gambling as we know there is allot of money for gambling, we can make as much as want to make, making money with gambling is surely so natural everybody gambles to make money, only few are there who use to gamble for fun  but gambling with enjoyment is really good strategy.

How can you say making limits for gambling is not good and gambling gives us a lot of money ? I think you are new in gambling.
As per my experience, it is better to gamble with limited amounts and do not be greedy to gather a lot of money. If you'r lucky, then stop yourself on winning some amount and start again the next day.
6193  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: June 28, 2019, 03:48:12 PM
Now the site has ripple listed as xrp under the drop down menu of coins available to bet with.
They ran a mini race today so people could try it out.
Was a pretty good introduction event so to use a different coin on the site. Smiley

Adding XRP in deposit option is a nice addition. Although i mainly bet on sports, stake.com is the only site which i use for other gambling games like Dice and mines etc. I just wonder it will be awesome if stake also starts sports betting too. This will we do not have to go to another site for sports betting.
6194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I hate Banks and love Bitcoin :-> on: June 27, 2019, 05:20:23 PM
for me I also hate banks because sometimes the support provided by banks is very long sometimes up to 2 weeks is resolved in the event of an obstacle, unlike cryptocurrency when we store bitcoin or other cryptocurrency and there is a support for them quickly and cryptocurrency is better because it doesn't charged monthly.

Well, there is no reason to hate banks as we are using them for long time and will continue using them for a long time. Although after the invention of crypto, we find bank useless but we should not forget that in the current fiat system, banks has a important place. As long as fiat exists, banks will exist too.
6195  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Biggest comparison site for crypto ever launched today! on: June 23, 2019, 04:07:17 PM
yes you are right for now there are so many exchange places and there is a lot of competition that will be created from the exchange place, as traders must be smart to find a good, safe and profitable exchange place.

Hi juragane,

We fully agree with this argument. There are still scam exchanges out there today and we as a community must help each other to look out for them.

All the best,
Cryptowisser

We should not claim every new exchange site as scam because new good exchange will come and make good progress, if their intention is good. However as with every bitcoin projects, many scammers are active making scam sites to grab people money. We should be careful in selecting the new exchanges.
6196  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying goods or services using crypto on: June 23, 2019, 04:01:43 PM
In my country you can pay bills using either BTC, ETH ad BCH. Your earnings can be used as a payment equivalent to your billing balance plus rebate. This is such a useful application and I can do freely anything about it. You can also but load, or pay merchants like credit cards all using your crypto balance.
what country are you talking about? Venezuela?
Doesn't matter which country he's talking about there are services from different countries that lets you pay your bills and do more convenient things with crypto. You can look this up on google and maybe there's one in your country (if it's not illegal).

If you're looking for a specific item you can use spendabit they have a list of stores that accepts Bitcoin kind of similar to bitify.

If amazon accepts cryptocurrency, that is a great change in online selling market. Many projects had already tried to compete with amazon and ebay but they failed. Some also are just scamming the investors. Just like the old ICO that I joined last year. As of now, I never seen any platform that can buy goods using bitcoin.

If Amazon and other giants accept bitcoin, then we will see a healthy competition amount the companies to adopt bitcoin and attract the early  customers who are willing to pay in crypto.  It is just a matter of time and change in the people paying habits.  Once the bitcoin is more used by general people, the more it will benefit the companies accepting it as a payment method.
6197  Economy / Marketplace / Re: NSFW - iStripper.com accepts Cryptocurrencies on: June 23, 2019, 03:41:15 PM
You should at least put up NSFW on the topic title  Kiss Porn industry is big and other related perks on it but people shouldnt be careless on downloading softwares randomly.

NSFW is the second industry after gambling which has established a lot after the emergence of bitcoins. People love to join these sites with crypto as they do not want to reveal everyone that they are watching the Porn.

By the way http://istripper.com/ is not opening at my place and is giving "Internal Server Error ". Is the site up ?
6198  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do we need blockchain technology? on: June 23, 2019, 03:10:11 PM
In my opinion we do need this technology

Yes for sure we need it because we can see now around us most of systems have become digital payments, in every shops I went last Sunday they were accepting digital money so, to live in this digital era we really need block chain, it keeps our bitcoins safe and we can send or get large amount of coins from one country to the other.

This is the question which should not be asked in the first place. Blockchain technology has numerous benefits and it is not only limited to bitcoins or crypto. Many of us does not even know the true potential of blockchain technology.
6199  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Are Reddit accounts worth anything? on: June 23, 2019, 02:16:01 PM
Several months ago, I made two accounts on Reddit. Throughout the course of normal posting, commenting, and replying to other people's posts, one of the accounts has managed to amass nearly 1k karma while the other has a little over 100 karma.

Does anyone know if these accounts are worth anything? Is there an equation out there that lets you know how much a Reddit account is worth based on its karma score? Does account age also factor? The accounts are only a couple of months old.

Thanks in advance. Smiley

Reddit accounts are worth it and few altcoin campaigns give you to pay per post on Reddit too. They have reddit campaign just like facebook, twitter and other social media campaign. Reddit is a big platform but it is not popular globally. It is mostly used more in few parts of the world.
6200  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Just Started to Accept Bitcoin in my Espresso Bar on: June 23, 2019, 02:05:37 PM
I just want to congratulate you. Maybe it would be even better to introduce the payment with few altcoins.
Further more it is always difficult to take such a step and once people see bar accepting bitcoin, other coffee and drinking bars may introduce the option of payment in crypto. The important thing here is that many business introduce bitcoin as payment method and sooner we see all the malls and shops give us the option of payment in crypto.
