6181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ETH] I was scammed on Youtube. What to do? on: February 07, 2020, 11:03:51 PM
There are legit giveaways there that are really for free, you just have to figure out the legit ones.
Giveaway means giving a thing for free without any conditions if a giveaway has a state that requires you to send an amount of money, it means not a giveaway but a contest or campaign.

All giveaway must be free and without conditions.
Yes. That's what I'm saying, you just have to look for the legit ones. We have this on our forum in the games and rounds section, a lot of giveaways are happening there starting from promos of different casinos and other individuals just want to have fun.
But it's sort of marketing for people to try their website out by giving them free amount to explore their platform.
6182  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Trade without fees on: February 07, 2020, 10:28:04 PM
Ok, no fees but the condition.
"Level 1 needs to become Level 2" base on the condition from your website.
This is like you are ok without having a fee but in exchange of the KYC and photo + documents of your users.
6183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun had a dinner with Warren Buffet! on: February 07, 2020, 09:51:58 PM
He posted a tweet about the lessons that he have learned from Warren Buffett.

https://twitter.com/justinsuntron/status/1225692486665789441

It was done few hours ago so did someone heard or tuned in to the experience he had meeting with Warren Buffett?
6184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Advice for year 2020 on: February 07, 2020, 02:19:14 PM
Avoid those advises that are telling to you buy this or buy that. Still make your own choice, you can hear what they say about such coin but it's still the decision of yours which will make sense. Invest to the coin that you really have studied and did a research because if you don't, you are blindly investing.
And when you lose, you will look for somebody to blame.
6185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Be careful of the fake airdrops/giveaways on facebook on: February 07, 2020, 11:55:46 AM
Those links that are in the form of bit.ly are very dangerous. Someone who is aware of internet safety will not click a link like that. Although, this sort of scam is kind of old we have always newbies coming in this community and still not aware of this tactic.
Let's all wish that these new people in the crypto circle will never allow their greediness to bite these scams.
6186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Transactions on Smartwatches? on: February 06, 2020, 11:41:50 PM
It will be for ease which I think too. But most reply would might be cons because we haven't experienced it yet. Can't say the potential of it until we use it with our daily lives or with most of our transactions. With sending bitcoin to other addresses, this will still require a smartphone or if not, you can only transact with the person near you to scan qr codes. I'll wait the tech experts to see if this is really a viable idea and if it will be adopted by most.
6187  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction of Tom Lee 27k$ on: February 06, 2020, 11:09:30 PM
Tom Lee again? no way but $27k sounds good and real, honestly. I guess he's trying to become safer this time with his price call outs.
I'd like to hear the thoughts of Charlie Lee and he is better than him. He can give us the signal if we're on the actual bull run or we're heading already to the bear market.
6188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun had a dinner with Warren Buffet! on: February 06, 2020, 05:49:19 PM
IIRC, Justin paid him just to be with Warren for this dinner right? With that tweet of Justin, Warren is still firm with his action and words about bitcoin and I think no one can change that already unless his grandson will invest that inheritance to bitcoin.  Tongue
That will be a great twist with his words.
6189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ETH] I was scammed on Youtube. What to do? on: February 06, 2020, 03:26:18 PM
It is a very known scam lately and they have migrated on YouTube, showing videos to make it look legit. But with the scheme of sending them ETH for what? the giveaway? you should have already noticed it that it's a known scam that started on twitter and then just made it alive again through YouTube. Sorry about your loss and thank you for informing the community to make this issue alive again because there are still channels and videos that are active.
Those scammers are creating fake videos that show if they were sending the giveaway to their address to make it looks legit for everyone. Based on the story and it's much more familiar as a ponzi when you are sending your money and you can double your money instantly and OP gets scammed caused by this scammer was stealing the official logo of ethereum to make it legit.
The problem was if OP lacks knowledge about that. There will be no give away even vitalik has already mentioned in on his official twitter account. Any giveaways are scam.
There was no way to recover his loss and what he must to do to learn even more about that.
It's a total scam, they will give false promises of returning more than double but it's all fake. No return will be given and the amount that will be sent to them will be lost forever in the hands of the owner. OP already admitted that he was not aware of it and bite the scam but I disagree with what you say about any giveaway is a scam.
There are legit giveaways there that are really for free, you just have to figure out the legit ones.
6190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to open an online Bitcoin Casino on: February 05, 2020, 11:53:39 PM
Even if you are worried on not making any funds in your website even after acquiring a licence, I still think its best to get the licence.
More people are gambling this days since cryptocurrency makes it easier for them to. One thing that draws them to a site is how legit it is and the marketing. So, set up your casino with new features in it, and market it well. Truth is, you will still have to spend some good amount of fund in the beginning but soon enough, it will pay off.
Yes. The legitimacy of a platform is what make the most gamblers confident of trying them out and once they've found a necessary proof that it's a legit one, they will stay loyal to it as long as they have the games that these gamblers want. With the other post that he had, he's trying to sell or look for a partner to launch this casino. I think it will take time for him to decide whether to pursue it or get a license first.
6191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US marshals seizure of 4000 btc being auctioned, will start dump/run this month? on: February 05, 2020, 02:59:40 AM
I think it was a normal reaction of the market that was seen recently. This might be the caused of it because whenever we have news like this, the market reacts quickly as if it's really moving down because of the sell offs. Some whales might be cashing out to USD so that they can join the auction and buy those coins with a possible discount.

6193  Economy / Economics / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON CHINA ECONOMY on: February 05, 2020, 01:01:34 AM
It makes everyone wonder if there's really an effect to the bitcoin economy about this virus but until now, there's no validation with that. Let's go back to China's economy. Because of the closure of other borders and isolating the affected areas, this is now one of the effect of it;
Chinese stocks suffer worst day since 2015 on coronavirus fears
6194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: how to identify the real Coins/tokens or scame? on: February 04, 2020, 02:57:37 PM
What the coin is? I'm guessing that you just got those tokens from bounty. If not, how much money did you invest with those tokens?
If there is no current exchange for those tokens, you have no way to trade them. You need to accept that tokens like you hold doesn't have definite way to sell unless the devs work it out.
6195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Money System Worked? on: February 04, 2020, 08:19:20 AM
Yeah, this ain't related to bitcoin so IMO it must be on Economics. I think the system that I liked was during the ancient times, the barter system and I think you are familiar with that as it was learned during our elementary days in school.
Exchanging goods and services to stuffs that you want is where it all started until the gov't intervened and proclaimed and tell the people that they should be the one to assess how much things costs.
6196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is VoidToken the future of Tron Network & Cryptocurrency? on: February 04, 2020, 07:30:10 AM
Lol, you won't say this if you know the story ... Just kindly dyor research when you can.. And please look into the future and forget the past... Void is gaining huge ground already...
I don't know the story but I hope that you wouldn't mind my opinion because it's the real deal that I've observed in the past. Many projects did said that they were going to be the future of crypto and yet they didn't for some reasons.

Void is one of the strongest token out there atm, with huge community and experienced developer... Tron for now, crypto later
If that's what you think, I can't change your mind but please don't also think that I'm telling my opinion to turn you down because it's my opinions as well. Good luck with your community and the project itself.
6197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is VoidToken the future of Tron Network & Cryptocurrency? on: February 03, 2020, 08:09:43 PM
Let it be a lesson that those coins that called themselves as the future of cryptocurrency didn't even made well at the end. I suggest to remove that tag because we all knew it what's going to be the future cryptocurrency and it's always as bitcoin. I'm okay with some alts to be with bitcoin in that time and there's nothing wrong putting a tag on your coin with those words but it is base from what I have seen in the past.
6198  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will Bitcoin do next in the near term? on: February 03, 2020, 03:09:18 PM
Just after a month, it became more than $8,000 and about to enter $10,000.

I think as the present standing of Bitcoin in the market, the development in the value of the currency would continue till the month of the halving. Bitcoin might struggle on holding its current price but, it would certainly retain its value now that the halving is coming.
Not just until the month of halving but it will be on a continuous journey. And it's not that it will struggle because the year of it has been passed and we're ready to flight again before and after the halving.
6199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: February 03, 2020, 01:57:44 PM
Take a look.

A fight against Conor McGregor could generate $250 million and be Manny Pacquiao's retirement party, according to an expert

Why would Manny pass on this when he can retire getting at least $100 million.
Manny always generate huge revenue with each of his match and if this isn't enough for him, he could fight again for the very "last" time with another known boxer or someone like Conor. When we say "last" time, he mentioned it before that he's about to retire.
But then, we keep on saying matches after matches and rumors after rumors of fight for him so I guess I will not believe anymore if he ever says that he's going to retire.

I am not sure with other fights but this fight is going to be a huge paycheck for Manny with surely give him at least $100 million.
The last big fight of Manny where he gets $100 million + was only against Mayweather.

https://www.businessinsider.com/floyd-mayweather-manny-pacquiao-revenue-2015-5
Quote
According to David Mayo of MLive.com, Mayweather will take home between $209 and $210 million and Pacquiao will take home between $142 and $143 million.
With the combination of all promotions with the PPV tickets, he always get that decent profit for each of his fights. Although, with the match with Mayweather we knew it that he got the lower portion because Floyd wouldn't allow Manny to get the higher portion.
Anyway, whether it's bigger or not $100M is $100M and sure it's really a big money for him.
6200  Economy / Gambling / Re: New casino on: February 03, 2020, 11:03:55 AM
i agree with terrible design. the theme is not good on your eyes. i suggest remove the dice as background on your webpage. you cant see whats going on because of that.
I agree with the design of the background. It is inappropriate to see the huge dice at the background, there's no need for it to include or just minimize it to the spaces at the sides of the web page. It should not collide with the center of the page because the background color is already dark. Likewise, it's going to be hard for your casino to even get a player that will trust you guys.
