Get some life/hobby, stop being a short trader then you will not be addicted to crypto. Use your management time only spend your times at crypto with around 30-60 mins if you an investor, but if you a full-trader I will not surprise he spent his time around 10-15 hours only to read the chart.
I'm a fundamental analysis, honestly, don't know how much time needed to read a chart. Long term investment would be a good option too to prevent this addicted.

Its because a management asset, a good portfolio always have a good management asset for their portfolio example like this : - 50% Bitcoin
- 30% Altcoin
- 20% On Firat ( Just for some case )
Because went we have a bullish tend, bitcoin will always fly first than altcoin that's why you must own bitcoin on cryptocurrency investment. After a bitcoin have a sideways moment, then the altcoin will get the trend after the bitcoin movement its called "Altcoin Party". You should know the reason why you put your money on the project, ICO Website review not gonna help you for your investment, use your own due diligence and speculate by yourself after that decide if you think the project has a potentially successful project invest on it if not then avoid it.
An investor like this, just like a fish waiting to bait with their promise from the project or other things, I don't know why everyone cant makes their own due diligence if you can't do it that better avoid invest to an ICO project.
Most of ICO Review Score are getting paid to give a good score, some of them participate at the bounty program too.

Do you mean? Shitcoin Alt, Of course, you will get that problem if holding a shitcoin. The maximum holding for shitcoin its 1-3 month more than that was not really good, shitcoin was not a good option for Long-Term investment its like gamble.
But for Top Major Alt would be no problem holding with a long term, I prefer top 100 rank altcoin by coinmarketcap.

The exchange you mention its not really a good option for doing an IEO because of the exchange not really popular. To be honest, if you want participant an IEO better-used top ran 1-3 exchange you will have a chance get a good fomo on their IEO. For other exchange will not guarantee you because the trading volume of the token/coin will be low because the exchange was not really popular.

Your brother has good money management & decision, at least he ended the trading with the profit not loses taking your own money investment was really important. I also took my profit went 2-3x bitcoin price because i holding since 5-10 month and i have bils to pay that's why i taking profit from my investment. Well if your brother wants more high profit his should sell only 30% from his investment to taking back his money from the investment he can sell/hold the other 70% of his asset.
