Broner looks very different now, he isn't very cocky and sounds a very respectful kid already despite the win. did he hire a PR?  seriously his jab is fast and one cross that almost made Santiago kneel is a big plus for him. it's not the most impressive win but Broner really is trying to make himself look good and making people see his humble side. good for him. he continues to do that he'll last long in his boxing career. I was surprised too as I was expecting an old Broner, but he changed here, he is determine to win and his been aggressive in this fight. Not so cocky probably help him to up his game in the ring, hopefully he can continue to do what he's been doing and will be given a chance to fight big names in boxing in the future. Adrien Broner is still 31 years old, there's still plenty of games to come for him as long as he is winning. Regardless though, he is too late, he should stay humble when he was at his prime. For me this fight shows that he is now a wash up fighter. Good that he won, but he wasn't able to knockout a D-level figther here. Of course, he can still fight at his age, but he will be just the stepping stone now for the young and upcoming fighters and champion at 140-147 lbs. I'm locking this thread now. |

Outdated, it's $57k now, that's how fast bitcoin price is right now, and it's just slicing and making all time highs like everyday now. Next target is $60k or even $70k before the end of this month. Truly amazing how this bull run is, super fast rally never seen before. So we are still in the target for $100k at the end of the year or even more.
Damn, the last time I checked it was still at 55.8K. This rocket sure has lots of fuel eh. Those price goals that sounded like a long shot just over a year ago might realize very soon. The same had happened at the start of 2017, the only difference is that that time no one predicted $20k at the end of the year, more of the top price is $5k. But in this bull run, everyone is talking about $100k because of the big boost coming from companies and institutions. So just hold on to our precious BTC, going to be a long ride for us this year and we might see $100k. |

The number of companies and institutions owning BTC will get larger and larger and the number of people holding a nice amount of BTC will get smaller and smaller.
In other words do not give everything to the big whales and try to remain in this select club because once you do it you may not be able to take them back. You may think you can but most probably you won't.
And that's what HODLing really means for average investor today, as the demand grows because of institutions and big companies vying for bitcoin as well and with their huge capital, we are going to get the short end of the bargain. So we should really think about selling our bitcoin today, unless it is really important. The last BTC will be mined in 2140. This coin is here to stay for you and your kids and your grandsons. Yeah, impressive to see a $1 trillion market cap, but anything can happen though, we can lose it overnight or gain another billion the next day. 2017 the whole crypto market cap is $1 trillion if I'm not mistaken and it goes kaput in the next 2-3 years of bearish market, and now now recovered and goes on even more. Good to go back to those old days here and how everything really started and we wish we're here to witnessed the birth of bitcoin. Even in twitter, there are a lot of people posting their early experience in buying and then selling it because they didn't know how big it's gonna be 10 years later. The question is if we did discover bitcoin early, are we also going to sell and take profits? Really hard to say, but yeah I agree that it is somewhat nostalgic look back when we hit the magic number of $50K recently.

However, it's good to see that big mental barrier of $50k has been broken, and I think this is just the beginning as I have said before. It's going to be interesting how this year will go through, $60k-$100k might be surpassed in the future. And definitely, this bull run will not end just because $50k is broken, but simply we have established that anything can happen and that the price. Sure re-tracement will happen, but we are going to push for new all time highs.
$50,000 could transform in a very strong support if Bitcoin can keep above the level for a while. People need to get familiar with these price points although the ones who are driving this market up are institutional investors who likely have much more experience. However psychology still applies for them. We are all humans (I think lol) so we are all susceptible to emotions. The difference is some of us learn to control them and some of us not. Agree, and now that the barrier has been breach again, the resistance is now the strong support for bitcoin as we have surpassed it again and moves forward to $51k. Yes, psychology will still a big part for this institutions and big companies, but I doubt that they will simply dump at $50k. They are more experience and more are in the line for them, and dumping would just hurt their investments. Most likely if they are going to dump are at least make money, it could be in the $100k or more price. Some learn through experience (specially those like me who entered in 2017), but there could be beginners who will likely go on a cycle (boom and bust) to get that mental toughness. |
