A problem I mostly see here. They want it fast, they want quick money and see that profit in USD already. Never even tried to support the token they bought. They just buy and think of it as if it will grow without doing anything. Even plants needs to be watered and sunshine for it to grow and you will have to be patient to see the fruit from it. It takes time and effort. They think just because bitcoin jumped from a low price to a higher one, then it could happen over and over again and also to other tokens. That is how we have to be patient and contented at the same time. Success cannot gain easily but after all the hardships. Even they start on small thing they can work for it yo add some but do not do things that make you risky at the same time. Wait for the better moment and think first before you decide on what you gonna do. When you have small amount, do not put it all on investment. You might drown on it. |

xrp or eth, I think both have the same potential to produce future benefits, I choose to buy both at current prices
XRP shows its potential and good for trading as well. The price of XRP doubled from the started price I invested on it which is good. Ethereum also has more potential for long term investment and it is time to get huge volume of it while it is cheap. I both have of the coin and wait for the recover of ethereum while I am having trade some XRP because it increase day by day. |

I missed the last dip and am wondering if I should hold out for another oucoming dip or if the current price for Bitcoin are still decent.
There are couple of dips that happened after posting this,so I believe that you don’t missed thos again Anyway if you are a bitcoin believer you must learn that this cryptocurrency is always growing year after year,what i mean here is you dont have to look for another dip to buy.as long as you can stay holding and patience I do not have money to buy some bitcoin but I continue earning it and hold. I know this is less risky for me because I can sell on what price it has in the market, there is always profit but good to wait longer for the good price since we see the potential of it last year which I believe that can achieve even much longer. I patiently hold for what I have and find ways to grow the volume of it. |

Can't agree with what you've said. Patience will really save many people from the huge profit loss at this moment due to the continuous market downfall this year. Once recovery happen, profit will again be earned. And since market dumps are believed to be not permanet, probability of a comeback is high. Patience is really need to avoid huge lose for taking risk to invest with crypto even on business before you gain success. Not that bad but it is bad decision to make over graduation ceremony. Graduation only happen to you once in your life, so grab it and treasure and make yourself happy that you'll graduate with honor. You can do multi tasking if you want like doing talk while waiting your name to be call. Also if you really don't like to attend your grad ceremony then just get the certificate later on.
I agree. Choosing working on bitcoin over graduation ceremony makes you regret beside you can do both because working with bitcoin do not need all of your time. It is about time management. Bounty tokens not remain at good price for you to hold sometimes because the long time you hold, the huge amount you lost because there comes the dump which keep me losing more before I decide to sell my tokens. I will keep my bitcoins because I bought them much more than today's value and I do not want to stay in loss. I think that bitcoin should increase significantly over time, then I'll think about selling.
I cannot keep my bitcoin long because it is become my allowance for a week though price is low and sometimes on dump. I do not wait more when I really need it and do not regret because I do not buy it on the market but earn from signature campaign. I know it cause for the price to get down more but I dont have any choice because I depend much on it. |

Yep very true. Bitcoin adoption will lead to a better life in future. But the hurdles underlying for this reality to become true are many and the virtual currency becoming the future seems to be quite far!! If bitcoin becomes the global currency it will bring on some revolutions and lead to development of a better global economy.
Anyhow we can just hope for better times in future and looking at the forthcoming efforts by various countries and giant multinationals like google, my hope remains intact!!

I jus dump half my investment from stocks into btc. Now I'm fully invested in bitcoin. Before I had invested in bch and it dumped. While I converted to fiat. Long story but I'm still alive after the ath 19k n buying the dip. I thought it was going to 4k. But i guess its a good time to buy now. Best of luck.
Better to see the opportunity on this dip from last year than to feel depressed because you are waiting for long run for price to increase from what you invested. It is good idea to buy more volume at the price it has now because when it increase, it can give good profit and waiting can be worth it. Ripple was pumped hard and I think now Ethereum is being prepared for the same . So I don't believe that ripple will take #2 coinmarketcap place , and xrp buyers should be careful, because XRP can collapse down at any time .
I also think Ethereum will prepare the pump with what happened last time which made its position taken over by XRP but only temporarily. XRP coins are fairly stable in price but from fixed quality Ethereum is superior. we'll see how the two coins will compete in the beginning of 2019. XRP is good for trading as of now as it increasing its value on the market. The price gets higher a half when I bought some of XRP unlike ethereum that I believed much better for long term investment. As you can see, ethereum have been showed its potential on the market and second on bitcoin. I am now giving some amount on XRP and getting a profit from it for short period. I think there is also a future on it. |

Isn’t it obvious?Just by looking at coin market cap you will find how dominant this top coin was,so thats behind the question And it was not just rise from capitalization but in value also,even though it remains at $6,000 level still this is more stable than what the altcoins are having now. I can prove that by checking my folios in which all of altcoins drowned upto 50-70% from the original buying price although cryptocurrency capitalization down alot, but bitcoin could recovery faster than other altcoin.we could check in on market history.bitcoin price soon or later could be more expensive than current price. Many are entering crypto and make an investment into it but still many are afraid for it to lose value in the future and lose it's dominance which is impossible to happen. I believe that bitcoin in the future will drop volume on the market which help it to increase the value and give good profit for those early to hold it and having good volume. |

yeah, i'm also a part of people who do that. i think it will reduce the risk of losing our savings money, so almost all of the entire forum members do the same thing. i like being in a bounty and i also like trading, both can be done simultaneously to collect profits. I also do the same. Working in bounty give you earning which you can trade and invest to gain profit. It is the way of everyone to start on something without giving any amount to earn good which is less risk than investing when the project is on ICO. I don't think trading is a good option now because of the difficulties in withdrawing your coins in time of emergency or even being hackers this have made is very difficult for traders in the cryptocurrencies market to trust most of the exchange site even with the KYC many still lose they money. The best we can do now is to buy and hold in a blockchains wallet.
I agree. It is much safer to invest for long term than to do trading when you do not trust the exchange that much. Most of people stay on trading lost their money because they have to wait for profit and sometimes become a prey of hacking before they gain it. I making my own by doing something that pays me potential crypto and invest it so far to make good profit but not on the exchange. |

It is never an issue, the issue is the lose of the people who didn't have enoughf patience to hold. I believe that the bitcoin or maybe crypto is really unstable from the beginning so we don't need to have an issue about it. Bitcoin is a great way to earn but if we loss on it the problem is maybe on us not on bitcoin.

in my opinion, what you are doing is wrong because why if you want to invest, you should not use the money that is used every day, which is fearful if you have a heart attack. bitcoin prices dropped because of bitcoin holders panicking to hear news about bitcoin and selling bitcoin ... this is used by greedy people and buy bitcoin cheaply
Weak people is making an advantage for investors because they are benefitting from fall that cause of panic selling. Fake news is being created to scare people and those who have big mind are just using it to buy in cheap price and become profitable in the future. |

Yes of course it can be more efficient than bank transactions i even like the fact the transaction will be faster safer and reliable most times the bank can be very disturbing most times
