... ct1aic: cgminer deserves the credit for that. It allows you to set clock speeds above what the AMD (or similar) software allows. I don't know how the AMD software determines what the max clock speeds are, but I'd guess that cgminer either doesn't check this or ignores it. The same is probably true of voltages, although if you raise voltages past what AMD recommends you risk damaging components. ...
Thanks for the kind answer, milone.

I believe the heatsink that's on it is glued to it so be careful you don't wreck the chip removing the old one
The idea is to keep the original gracious heatsink with the BTC logo at the bottom side and glue the aluminium heatsink directly on the ASIC "BE100" chip with the included 3M Self Adhesive Thermal Layer, at the upper side.

Greetings. I'm getting for my 2 USB Gizmos, 336.4 to 336.8 MHash/s, also with active cooling, 1% Hardware Errors. The ASIC chip needs a heatsink and the best I saw (and going to buy from Taiwan in a few days) is the smaller of a 3 heatsink kit to the Raspberry Pi, intended for the voltage regulator of the RPI: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171047859890?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 If anyone knows a better one, please post here.

The Full Miner will have the following characteristics:- k16 klondike design (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=190731)
- 16 Avalon ASIC Chips
- 4.512 Gh/s
- About 32 Watts
- CGminer
- USB controller. Could be used with any PC i.e. a Raspberry Pi
- Assembled in Barcelona, Spain. Contact based in Barcelona is nekonos.
The price for the Full Miner assembly service will include:*:- 4 Layers’ PCB
- All electronic components
- Full assembly
- Heat Sink
- 12 to 24 hours testing to meet the so deserved BkkCoins’s royalties.
- Fan and Case will be available at an extra cost
Question for nekonos cc bizwoo: Greetings, my friend from my neighbour country. Do you already have an idea of the case (and fan) you intend to sell (at extra cost, of course) with the assembled Full Miner? any images? As in the case of the Raspberry Pi, a transparent acrylic case would be cool...

Something really strange (and positive) about CGWatcher/cgminer:
I tried with programs like EVGA and MSI Afterburner, to overclock the GPU Core clock to a value higher than the AMD bios limitation of both my HD4650 (550 MHz) & HD7650M (500 MHZ) laptop graphic cars, with no success.
With CGWatcher I can go to higher values than those "imposed" by AMD. It passes the command 'gpuengine|0-600' to cgminer 3.2.1 and it accepts the command. I'm now using both at 600 MHz, with no temperature problems. The hash rate from the HD4650 went from 28 to 31 MHash/s and the HD7640M went from 64 to 77 MHash/s.
How is this possible?

... I have the core of CGRemote working, but I've been finishing up some things with CGWatcher (ASIC/FPGA support) and will likely be working on another project for the next two months so I don't have an ETA for release. Here is a diagram I just made in case my description didn't make sense: Greetings, milone. Many thanks for your kind answer. I understand your priorities. If, in any case, you'll need a beta-tester for your CGRemote when returning to that project, count with me. Regarding CGWatcher, I tested several times cgminer and bfgminer (32 and 64 bits versions), they work fine, but I get more hash rate in 2 Windows 7 64 bits laptops (with AMD HD4650M and HD7650M) and 1 desktop, also with Win7 (with AMD 7870) when using DiabloMiner, that is included with the 50MINER GUI. As CGWatcher can't interface this miner, I can't use it Best regards.

Greetings.
Perhaps a little off-topic, but why can't CGWatcher access cgminer running at another "computer" (same VLan) via API port?
I have a Raspberry Pi running Arch Linux and cgminer 3.2.1, mining with 2 x USB ASIC miners and it would be nice to have your great program monitoring the mining work at my Windows laptop, in another room (ok, without start/restart/stop features)? I hate to have to use putty, to have a console opened to that RPI.

Thanks, rupy. But why did you took off the original (lovely) heatsink? With the 2, wouldn't be better?

Will let it run for a while, I suspect same HW/A but longer life... Greetings, rupy. Where did you bought the heatsink? I think the ASIC of the USB Gizmo is 6 mm x 6 mm, am I right?

My 2 USB Gizmos are stable @ 335 MHash/s each, with a RPI/CGMiner 3.2.1 ( MinePeon beta from yesterday). This software version still lacks the web Stats option, but the rest, including the Graphics, is working well.

I do like it!
Do you intend to sell? Also with p&p to Europe?

Nekonos did you receive my pm about the order i put in for first batch, my address is listed as no user
I respond by pm Here we have the samples are we waiting. how do you propose to fairly distribute the samples? The samples must be used by nekonos to test the Klondike K16 board... It's my humble opinion.

Good morning World!
I smell fresh coffee and USB Gizmos... I'm feeling lucky...
Regarding CumpsD offer, if the offer is extended to me and as I'm so bad in Linux, I would love to get he's RPI image, as one of my 3 RPI's is also a v2 512 MBytes.
A bit late, but here it is: http://cumps.be/btc/My raspberry pi Image. It's based on standard raspbian wheeze, using cgminer 3.1.1 compiled from github It uses the hardware watchdog from the Pi to keep cgminer running. cgminer itself runs in a screen, so you can connect to it over SSH from wherever to have a look, and detach again. I have not upgraded it to cgminer 3.2.0 yet, since there were quite a bit of problems with 3.2.0 and I didn't have time to look at 3.2.1 which was just released. What does this mean: no hotplug functions! So you have to connect your sticks *BEFORE* booting the Raspberry PI Other than that, when it's booted, it just works and you never have to touch it again :p I've written all the needed instructions on http://cumps.be/btc/ Enjoy! Many thanks. i'm going to try it.
